I have only been here for dinners and I was excited when I found out Saffron has lunch buffets on the weekends (Fri, Sat, and Sun)! $16 from 1130a-230p. The variety was great and I enjoyed all the dishes. If you like chicken, they bring you a tandoori chicken for each person and a basket of nan to the table. Buffet options included: papri chaat (loaded chips appetizer), veggie samosa, kesari pulao (basmati rice), chicken curry, goat curry, baigan bhartha, paneer makhani, chana masala, mix vegetables, and 2 desserts - dudhi halwa and kheer..|\---/|| @_@ |..\_^_/..2024

If you are looking for delicious indian food then Saffron Restaurant is a great choice. I had samosas, garlic naan, saffron rice, and chicken tikka. Everything was tasty. All the food was flavorful. The restaurant is nice and the service was good. I would recommend if you want affordable indian food.

Review from 2016.We came for their buffet menu. They have a good selection of dishes to choose from as well as desserts. Overall everything had a lot of flavor and my Indian friend also like the food as well. Their naan was warm and fresh. Some of the meat like the chicken we a bit on the dry side. But overall, I thought it was a good value for a buffet. The employees there were Indian and were friendly.

This place was great. Flavors really hit the spot. Kids enjoyed the paneer pakora and the Bhel was really good too. The paneer curries were delicious and overall the food was very good. Note that they do not have sweet or salty laasi. They only have mango laasi. Service was friendly, masked, and quick. There was only one other family when we arrived and when we left there were no other customers. Paid via Apple Pay.

Great food! I'm always on the hunt for a good Chicken Tikka Masala and I've found one :)Very tasty, I asked for medium spice and the chef nailed it. Paired it with rice and Garlic Naan. Delicious!

Our first time enjoying Indian cuisine. TComfortable seating. Kind snd generous service. Yellow lentil were very flavorful. Basmati rice was light and fresh. Chicken appetizer with a sweet sauce. A wonderful experience.

Since moving to Illinois we've tried several Indian restaurants but Saffron has been our favorite. While no shortage of Indian options in this area, the food here is seasoned well and the chicken is tender. We really like the chicken sagwala and chana masala. The one meal we miss that we wish that they had was rajmah. Definitely recommend it. On carry outs you get a card for % off your next order over $50 as well so take advantage.
