Had a baby at Prentice Women's Hospital on the Northwestern Medical Campus. Was finally able to eat at midnight. They were open and delivered through Doordash. Got samosas, veggie pakoras, butter chicken, chicken tikka, and garlic naan. There may have been hormones at play, but the dipping sauce with the pakoras brought tears of joy to my eyes. Really beautiful seasoning - lots of turmeric and cardamom. The curries were a little thinner (less creamy) than I am used to, but that just let more of the flavor come through. Seriously considering ordering a second night in a row.

The food was great, we got several curries and naans and everything was fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself was a bit hot, combine that with the food and you will sweat here! Overall liked everything and will be back.

I'm not someone who complains needlessly and 99% of the time I don't take time out of my day to write a bad review. Unfortunately I'm so so so disappointed with my order that I kinda felt the need to let the business know. I ordered the chicken biryani through Uber Eats. The food was still extremely hot, so that's a pro. But everything else was a massive letdown: the rice is extremely bland unless eaten with the seasoning from the chicken, and there was literally 1 piece of meat. In the $16 biryani. I could get triple that amount of chicken from Mild 2 Spicy or Spice Room for the same price. A meal for that much $ shouldn't be just a giant heap of unflavored rice with 1 piece of bone in chicken. My boyfriend got the butter chicken and I can't make this up- it literally tasted like water. The gravy was 80% oil, chicken pieces were frustratingly sparse, just UGH not a second of genuine heart or cooking went into these dishes. And just for context, I'm Bengali. I would absolutely be able to pick up even the slightest note of fragrant spices. Neither of these tasted remotely good and I promise this restaurant is not worth your time. Don't order from here unless you want to eat plain rice that's sort of garam masala flavored. Trust me.

Paratha roll was a very generous portion wrapped in crisp paratha. The chicken biryani was a heaping portion: rice was well-textured and delicate, chicken was tender and moist. Alu paneer was flavorful and came with a nice side of rice. We are not Muslim but appreciated that it is extremely clean and Zabiha halal. Gracious staff.
