House of Biryani

It's a nice place to sit and eat, but I found the food to be overly spiced. By the time I finished the beef curry, I was sweating. The biryani was good but also over-spiced. Nevertheless, the portions are huge, and the restrooms are clean.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. To begin with, their menu had an incredibly limited selection for vegetarians, which was a major letdown. Adding to the frustration, there was a lack of clarity on how to place an order - whether we had to go to the counter or wait for someone to come and take our order.We ordered Paneer Butter Masala and Garlic Naan, along with Egg Fried Rice. The service started on a bad note when the Egg Fried Rice was significantly delayed, leaving us waiting for almost 20 minutes after being served the other dishes. When it finally arrived, to our dismay, it was Chicken Fried Rice instead. Despite informing the server, there was no immediate apology for the mix-up, and we had to wait even longer for the correct order.While I must admit that the Paneer Butter Masala and Garlic Naan were delicious, the overall experience was marred by the poor service and lack of attention to our dietary preferences. The restaurant staff's lack of consideration for our vegetarianism, coupled with the absence of any real apology for the mistake, left a bitter taste in our mouths.In summary, while the food quality was commendable, the abysmal service and the overall unpleasant experience overshadowed any enjoyment we might have had. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone seeking a hassle-free dining experience.

My experience at House of Biryani was a mix of highs and lows. I ordered the egg Biryani, curry paneer, and garlic naan. The food was undoubtedly a highlight, with good flavors and taste. The egg Biryani was particularly delightful.However, there's room for improvement when it comes to ambiance. It lacked the cozy or inviting atmosphere that can enhance the overall dining experience. Some attention to decor and lighting could make a significant difference.In terms of service, it was decent, though not exceptional. A bit more attentiveness and promptness from the staff would have been appreciated.House of Biryani offers tasty food, especially the egg Biryani, but could enhance the dining experience with improvements in ambiance and service.

I love there chicken noodle aka chicken chow mein, Briyani are tasty but enough for 1 person because they only give you three pieces of chicken in each serving

It was not good at all. The rice was bland. I had asked them to deliver a spicy chicken biryani but the place delivered something that was completely opposite of what I had ordered. Chicken biryani was out of stock so he sent pulao which was tasteless. I won't recommend it. There are plenty of other decent places to check out.

This place sucks they always take forever to prepare food and when you arrive they'll tell you to wait 10 minutes because they soo slow and the food is full of oil not fully cooked and the staff rude and they not clean at all they let anyone walk Ina back kitchen and that's not acceptable business should be shut down immediately I am at.

We order to go goat biryani from here and definitely worth the hype, one of the best biryani experiences ever for sure. Maybe next time we will try other items from here as mentioned in other reviews..

Very kind service, large portions, delicious food. I wish I took photographs, but I was really hungry and just, well, you know what happened.

Well, where to begin. The food was a little spicy (I ordered mild) and kind of watery. The taste was OK but the quality of the chicken used seemed either low or was just overcooked. Then it turns out that they do not include rice with their dishes/dinners. Since I live in the Devon area and eat a lot of Indian food, this is the first time rice wasn't included. I also contacted the restaurant and their customer service was a disappointment. The person on the phone was less than friendly and seemed in a big hurry to get me off the phone.With all the great restaurants in this neighborhood, I don't think I'll be going back to this one. Disappointing.

Nice staff but did not provide napkins and had to ask for water multiple times. Masala dosai and idli were great. But chicken Biryani was very disappointing. Sauce on bottom chicken on top and then topped with white rice?! That's not biryani! Spices not well blended at all. Expected so much more from restaurant with biriani in its name.
