"Came here for brunch when we're in the area on the weekend and there were plenty of seats indoor and outdoors. We got some plates to share!- onion soup- bruschetta tasting including salami, prosciutto, mushrooms and tomato - shakshuka- shrimp scampi- half BLT sandwich and half saladAlso got the wine tasting which was great! All the food was delicious and arrived pretty quickly"
"I had a great experience here. My brother brought me here because he said the food was really good. There was a good size parking lot across from the restaurant. We had no issue finding seating, we sat outside. They have a vast display of chocolates, I'll include some pictures. It has been a min since I was last here since I don't live in Texas, but I'll post pictures to give people an idea. Food wise, everything we ordered was very tasty. Meat was tender and moist. They had good flavor. Carrot soufflé was delicious. Chocolates may or may not be the same, but I recommend trying some out and bringing some home to your family. The ones I got were not too rich, I enjoyed all of the flavors I bought."
"Postino Montrose was on my bookmark for a long while ever since Montrose Mining Company closed. I always wanted to stop by and enjoy the food because I read so great reviews. But it's always past the closing time. I went there last night. Simply because I was really hungry after an event at Houston Eagles. I remember it was shortly after 9. Because I was going to get in the VIP line at South Beach. But I thought maybe I can grab a quick dinner. Then, head there before 10. Since the menu is simple, I thought my order would be quick. Guess what? It was a long wait for Crispy Cauliflower. I already wrote a Yelp review and posted photos at a different restaurant by the time the appetizer came. I was very disappointed with the "crispy" part. The only crispy thing was the rehydrated raisins. The waitress came to take the order shortly before I finished the appetizer. I ordered Italian Beef Panini Dip with salad. The food was fresh. The dip was too salty. The roast beef was bland, maybe because I asked for no cheese. Oh by the way, I don't see any vegan dishes. Everything has cheese. Vegetarian maybe. I had to ask for no cheese because I'm lactose intolerant. Sadly, the kitchen failed to replace the saltiness of cheese with something. Another problem, waitress didn't come by to check on my water level or how I was doing. I saw another waitress stepping on a chair to reach for wine bottle behind me. She did say "excuse me". But don't you have stepladder? That's a safety hazard for your employees. While I was not getting any attention, I wrote my second review and posted some photos and videos at a different restaurant. I was about to finish my third review; waitress finally came to check on me. It got me thinking. Was I not fit for the crowd? Was it because I'm Asian? What a miserable dining experience. While looking at the check-in offer on lunch, I'm contemplating whether I should come back. I need some explanation first."
"I appreciate being able to come here for some amazing homemade biscuits. I love biscuits so much! Strawberry jelly .. I'm sorry I got lost in the sauce no pun intended! They also offer some good French toast but kind of expensive for one slice. I think $3. non -Merci! If You're in the mood add some fruit on top..I've tried the chicken fried chicken which is decent when served and eaten right away. We know how the crust gets after 10 minutes. The grits are ok. My go to now is the fried fish (to go) that I pair with My own creamy grits and eggs, LoL. I've dined in prior to covid and the experience has been pleasant. The establishment is always busy so expect a line and filled seats. I've sat a the bar to catch a game too. So check out this local eatery if You're in the area.Located in the Kroger parking lot! Parking can be limited sometimes on the weekend!"
"I finally came, saw, and ate Tennessee style BBQ! My sister and I visited on Friday afternoon, just after the lunch rush, so I'm not sure if what I experienced is a direct result of this, but I have to stay true to my experience. So, my sister and I were the only two in the restaurant for our entire hour there, aside from to women, one if which was dressed in cook attire, so we assumed she worked there. My sister ordered a lean, sliced brisket sandwich plate, with green beans, and macaroni and cheese, plus spicy BBQ sauce. I ordered the two meat plate which included lean sliced brisket, pulled chicken, baked beans, green beans, and spicy BBQ sauce. I also ordered a lemonade, which I was told was made in-house. My sister and I both wanted the Pineapple Tea, but they didn't have any. Boooo! Note: I usually order sausage with my two meat plates at any BBQ place I visit, but Fainmous only makes pork sausage. Thumbs down for that, even if it's a Tenessee thing! It only allows me to top my review off at three starts. Sorry. We were both feeling the taste of the brisket with the spicy BBQ sauce. I don't know if it's a plus or minus, but the spicy BBQ sauce was merely sauce with crushed pepper flakes in it. It was defintely different. What I wasn't feeling was the fact that we ordered lean brisket, but I wound up peeling off a good amount of fat and leaving it piled on my plate. I respect how other people feel about fat when it comes to brisket, but I don't like fat on mine. Apparently the person preparing my plate thought that he could change my mind. Go figure! The lemonade was pretty good, too, and it was served in an old school mason jar. Nice touch!Overall, the food was pretty good. I wasn't blown over by it, but I had a good experience, especially since one of the two other people in the restaurant was the co-owner, Karen Fain - wife of James Fain (hence the name, "Fainmous"), who engaged us in conversation while we ate. She gave us the history behind Tennessee BBQ. It was a lengthy ride, during lunch, for just a "good" restaurant. A coin toss will determine whether or not we return."
"This Postino location always delivers a great experience! Amazing service every visit! Came here for a mid week date night. One of the few places opened late on a Wednesday night. Also took advantage of their HRW menu on this visit. The amount of food that was served for $35 was insane! The first course was a Caesar salad with a chicken or beef skewer. The salad itself was enough to be a meal. I picked the chicken skewer was great. It just juicy and tender with a nice char. My second course was the nine iron panini. When they set the plate in front of me my first thought was "no way I'm gonna finish this". You get a side option of salad or chips. This sandwich was heavily stuffed. My only critique was there was a bit too much mayo of my liking. Other than that it was great. The final course was desert which we got to go."
"We attended a neighborhood event that Big 6 catered. We're glad we went because Big 6 was very good and we got to meet a lot of our neighbors, very nice people. The brisket was very tender and oh so tasty, the sausage and the chicken drum stick was just as good, the beans and tater salad were very good. Now I need to visit their food trailer, they're bookmarked already."
"My daughter loved it and that's what important. I ordered her the Oreo cookie milkshake and the strawberry cheesecake dessert. The milkshake only comes in a jar if you get the smaller one and it's plastic. The large milkshake comes in a regular clear cup. The desserts come in nice little glass jars. The shop was nice and clean and service was friendly. The shake was picture ready and the appearance made it that much better. I would recommend this shop if your a fan of sweets"
"A hop skip and a jump from the Woodlands Mall, it's easy to relax into this peacefully decorated spot. It's more than the relaxing soundtrack, and quiet patrons, it's moreso the spaciousness, inviting service, stress free parking (bonus of a suburban restaurant), and the prospect of authentic cuisine in the area that's not categorized as "American" or "Modern American" (ie every popular Woodlands restaurant). On our visit, I was unfortunately distracted from my zen bubble as soon as our food arrived. Although the food was presented beautifully, myself and my guest immediately noticed the tables (ours included) sat too far away from the booth seats for comfort. I get it- usually this is a minor thing, but the distance was pretty drastic, so much so that it made eating a chore. I'm not sure if this is every diners experience (being that I'm 4'11" with the arm span of someone my stature), but is imagine it effects a majority of diners, and while I love a good workout, it's not exactly my idea of a relaxing meal.Other than that, the meal was fine, the curry was comforting, but I'm still in search of a Thai Food joint that will knock my socks off. All is forgiven with amazing food! As always, I plan to give them another try in the future. I'll select a different dish and maybe a table instead of a booth. :)"
"I've been coming to Schultze BBQ for over 20 years. This used to be my go to BBQ place because I love their sauce (a sweet Memphis style) and they are close to my parents house. However, I have become less enthusiastic about Schultze over the last few years. My first issue was that their quality and serving sizes had been dwindling but the last straw as the fact that they charged me extra to put BBQ on the side. I did not ask for extra, just that they put the sauce that would have been on the sandwich anyways in a small container in the to go bag so that my sandwich was not soggy when I got home. Goodbye Schultze, I'm going to Swinging doorSide note: the new buttered brioche buns are nice in theory but all I could taste was the bun. Smoked meat is normally a strong flavor but that bun overpowered the flavor of the meat and sauce."

Postino is definitely one of my go-to restaurants, although I do prefer the Town & Country (Beltway/i10 or City Centre) location better. I just think they are more generous with their toppings (on the bruschettas and salads) and a bit more welcoming.Came here to try another "battle of the bruschetta."Bruschetta board (pick 4) - $16.95Strawberry cream cheese - saved this for dessert. It was good, but definitely something I could've made at home with ingredients I already have. Also they were a bit stingy with the toppings - it was probably 1 or 2 small strawberries sliced very thinly, and it didn't even cover the cream cheese. Our go-to 'dessert' bruschetta is the Brie, Apple & Fig Spread, which we prefer over the strawberry cream cheese. Spicy sprout - this was the winner of the 2 (for the battle). Not that spicy, but you could still tell it was there. We love roasted brussels sprouts, but it just needed more.Smoked salmon & pesto - bf's favorite, which we always get. I'm pregnant, so I couldn't have any :(Almond hummus & chopped tomato - another one of our favorites.Meatballs & goat cheese appetizer $14.50 - we usually order this for more protein. Goat cheese isn't too strong, so my bf actually likes it.Brussels sprouts salad $13.25 - the only salad I've tried here, which is my go-to when I'm craving a salad here. The toppings, however, were stingy (almonds, dried cherries, bacon), so it was mainly kale.City Orchard Silver Tip Cider $7 - bf enjoyed this.

A second return visit to Tejas needed an amended review to include one of my favorite sandwiches of all time! This will be a quick review. The infamous Bird and Bacon Sandwich! Smoked turkey, bacon, fried egg, avocado on a toasted bun! After a long day puttin around Houston, I had a craving for some breakfast for dinner and let me tell you........ this was it!I'm not sure if the stars were aligned with Jupiter that night or what but that single bite was everything! Oh and don't forget the green sauce too! This was happily devoured in my car and was gone all too soon!I still dream of this sandwich! And you will too!

A little unsuspecting restaurant in the suburbs that serves up a pretty decent breakfast/brunch! In the corner of a shopping strip, this place is easy to overlook, but stopping in for breakfast or lunch will definitely fill you up for a pretty good value. I went here for breakfast and got the country fried steak for only $10! This was such a great value because it was both delicious and had a huge portion. It was actually large enough to feed at least 2 people! I ended up sharing the plate and still had leftovers. The meal comes with a chicken fried steak, hash, 2 eggs, and a biscuit and gravy. Each component was good, but for me, my favorite was the biscuit! It was super fluffy and just so yummy. The other dish we tried, but only had the stomach space to eat a few bites was the Ale Foreman omelette which came out to be a huge portion as well! The other dishes looked great too, so I don't think you can go wrong here. The service was pretty quick as well. You order at the counter first and then you sit down and wait for your order to be called. I went during a weekday, so there wasn't much of a line, but I can see how the place can get pretty crowded on the weekends. There's still plenty of space to sit, and it seems like they move tables pretty quickly, so hoping the weekends don't pose too much of an issue. Definitely a great find!

This place gets "all the things" right when it comes to a casual eatery with great service and good food to share amongst friends. Their bruschettas are obviously a hit. I don't have a favorite, but I did have a special one that was with spicy Brussels sprouts. I always like their soups and paninis. Love this location too! Very cute outdoor patio!

Food is pretty good, I've only ordered through Uber eats and I never had a bad experience. I will go to them instead of the chain BBQ restaurants. I do recommend this place

"Really enjoy coming to this place. The food here is really tasty and fresh. Belinda is such a wonderful hostess and friendly person. I've had several items on the menu which all tastes good to me, but my go-to item is the pulled pork sandwich. Juicy and flavorful. Side items including beans, yams, and cobbler also tasty! Definitely will return. Parking lot is huge and shared with the shopping strip."
"This would be a great place to take a kid. It was neat seeing the nitrogen smoke coming from the mixer. They also had a lot of different kind of mixtures. We were boring and just got the cookie butter ice cream. It was really good. I can honestly say I have never had cookie butter ice cream till now."
"Our management team at work decided they wanted to show us their appreciation for our hard work by catering food from The French Quarter. Free food that's not from the cafeteria usually makes everyone happy. Go management! They decided to cater a build it yourself baked potato bar. The potatoes were all pretty big and surprisingly, they stayed hot for quite some time. It came with all the sides you would expect for a baked potato such as butter, sour cream, cheese, and green onions. We also had BBQ chopped beef or chicken to go in it as well. The BBQ was OK. It was a little more saucy than meaty. We also had a side salad which looked really good, but I didn't want to waste precious space in my belly for salad. The cookies for dessert were halfway good. I want to say one cookie was some sort of coconut and the other was either a sugar cookie or peanut butter. I grabbed the coconut cookie and it was pretty hard and did not taste very fresh. Overall, I feel like The French Corner would be a place I would consider to cater again, just not so much the baked potato bar."
"I ordered to go yesterday afternoon after googling for close by Cajun Style cuisine. I also checked out the Yelp review and pictures from the menu. I had hot honey shrimp and the Surf n Turf Pasta. Hot Honey Shrimp is generally as in appetizer but I requested for it to be served as a shrimp basket. Hot and spicy , but very good. The surf n turf pasta is very filling with three proteins included . Salmon is blackened and very well seasoned. There's definitely other items I look forward to trying.I would also like to touch base on the negative reviews that people have left in terms of the establisment's ambiance. This restaurant is up and coming. You negative nay sayers act like the likes of Pappas,Boudreaux's, or any large scale restaurant's etc, did not all come from humble beginnings in terms of location or decor. I also know that Black Owned Businesses are put under a massive microscope as compared to others.I say all that to say this : La Roux Table, keep doing what you're doing. Let your food speak for itself. Your clientele and business will prosper."
"So happy to have a new place for to go dinners. I tried the frozen spanakopita and moussaka. The heating instructions were on the lid and easy to follow. In 20 min you will have a nice dinner for 2 with leftovers. Only thing I would have liked more eggplant in the moussaka but overall reheated great. The spanakopita was some of the best I have had! The spinach was so tasty! Excited to comeback and try other dishes!"
"Meh. I definitely experienced better. This was sub par everything, except the fried okra. Flavor was off on the beans, mac and cheese bland af. BBQ bland and really not flavor full, more like oven baked, in my opinion. Sausage was so horrible sampling a couple of slices we threw the rest of the pound away, along with the beans and mac. I was so wanting to like this place, especially since there's a convenient drive-thru, but I pretty positive this place is on the no go back list."
"Came here for their 4 piece chicken strip meal deal. Buy one get one free.99! Heck yes!$8 and change for 2 meals.. yes please! Their Zaxbys sauce was surprisingly awesome. *whispering* better than canes sauce (in my opinion). Crispy, hot and fresh out of the fryer! The meal comes with "crinkle" fries, coslaw and a piece of butter toast. Definitely recommended for some chicken strip on the go!"
"Stopped in for some BBQOrdered the Brisket, jalapeños sausage, and ribs, with green beans and monthly special carrots and broccoli. He was ok, the brisket and ribs were a little fatty for me. Jalapeños sausage was excellent.Service was fast and friendly.Inside is super cool with nice stuff to check out. Pics attached"
"This spot offers a solid haleem bowl that is flavorful and comes with an excellent portion size given the very reasonable $8 price tag. They have gathered some hype since the food truck opened up on Highway 6 & Voss, and to give credit where it's due, the haleem they serve certainly carries substance to back up the hype. They load up your bowl with lots of warm haleem and top it off fully loaded with jalapeños, cilantro, lemon, and fried onion crisps. You can customize your toppings too and at the end of the day, it's hard not to appreciate the value you're getting out of the purchase. Their customer service is good too and if they add some naan/bread options to their menu, that will complete the experience in totality."
"Jeez! Time goes by fast! I was at this wonderful place a while ago!Small place that you would miss if you don't know the area. Mi friend Norma N. Who teaches at the North Harris College, which is practically next door, suggested the spot. I came driving from 1960, took Aldine Westfield and almost missed the place. By the way is in the same shopping strip where the Citgo gas station is.Mi Chef is runned by Cheff Mark, a cool guy that would remind you of your good buddy in grade school (he reminded me of Jaen B.) You can see the kitchen from the counter, and that is as good "first look at a clean place" as you get. The food is crafted almost before your eyes without the "run-through-the-factory" feeling. Just behind the counter, you will see how you sandwich is put together with fresh ingredients carefully layered. Sauces came from the morning churn, not from a can.Ask for the soup of the day, and be sure to greet Mark!"
"Amazing brisket. Best in Houston. We love this bbq place. Everything is delicious including their sides."
"Favorite new Salvadorian restaurant in Houston. We live in the area and have lots of good salavadorian food around us but we keep coming back to this spot. Brought my family here and they also loved it. Highly recommend the sopa de mariscos (seafood soup). Also the pupusas here are filled perfectly. Everything I've tried here has been delicious as well as the typical breakfast plate with all the sides!"
"Good brisket! I wish the sandwich had more meat, though. It also doesn't look like the picture. I was disappointed about the portion size. It comes with lay's chips and drink. I also tried the bacon wrapped boudin and a half rack of ribs. The ribs were good, but they didn't knock my socks off. They're the best ribs I've had so far in this area. The bacon wrapped boudin is very good. It's smoked and has all the right flavors. I will order from here again."
"Kelz Kreative Kitchen is worth every penny. I ordered wings and bread pudding. When I took a bite from the wings, they had a fresh and juicy flavor. The breading is different and it stands out.As for the banana pudding. My wife had the first spoon and never saw it again. She said it tasted rich and smooth. I'm for sure she will ask for the recipe. Thank you for the meal and God bless you Kelz Kreative Kitchen."
"The food was ok. Service was good. Can't complain. What gets me is the lack of hygiene around the place. The floors were dirty, filthy and the carpets look like it's never been shampooed!! If am not mistaken, if they don't take care of the sitting area, do you think the kitchen is spotless ? They did not help in my decision to come back a second time . Careless if you ask me . Taco Bell is cleaner"
