"For this place to be arguably a tourist trap as it's across from the bean I was very surprised. My cocktail was well balanced & not a single food item was boring & some were mind boggling delicious. I'm among the people that contend that Monteverde is the best Italian in the city however there are dishes here that honestly can compete such as the lobster ravioli & the pistachio pasta dish. For your money & the area you could do a whole hell of a lot worse"
"We were here for a reception after a memorial Mass nearby. The staff was amazing. They worked very well together, helped, clear plates, even served a few people some food from the buffet, set up to get things rolling in the beginning. All of the dishes were very tasty and we were so impressed that we said we would return for dinner. It is right across from the train station and easily accessible. Plenty of free parking on the street in the evenings."

Visit Restaurant Page"This is a really late review, so I'm sure what I have to say echoes so many people's opinions. It was a bit of a trek getting to Roister due to all the construction happening on their street back then. But the food, the vibe, and the top notch service was all worth it.The food was sublime. The dishes were made of ingredients that one would never think could complement each other, but their magical kitchen performs feats of culinary alchemy. Pasta with clams and mint? A chocolate bar made with duck fat? And those oysters that haunt my dreams to this day...I'll never be the same after that meal. When my hubby expressed how big a fan he was of Grant Achatz, the head chef invited him into the kitchen to observe their operations. So he stood there as they prepared dinner for all the diners. That experience is something that he talks about to this day.All in all, we had a wonderful time at Roister, and we will definitely come back to Chicago and plan our vacation around this restaurant. Their food and kindness left lasting memories for our family."
"Finally got a chance to check this place out. I had planned to do takeout, and when I online to place my order, each item was $2 more than what was on their online menu. I decided to call it in, the woman was really nice, but it was still the same price. These restaurants really have to start updated their online menus. It's one of biggest pet peeves in the food industry. Anywho, I placed an order of their Spring Rolls, Saigon Pho and Slap Yo Mama Crab Fried Rice. The spring rolls came with shrimp, pork, rice noodle, lettuce, herbs and served with a side of peanut sauce and crushed peanuts. These were actually really good and refreshing. A very light way to start a meal. The Saigon Pho I felt could have used more flavor. I only tried a little bit; but haven't really been a big fan of taking out Pho or Ramen. Like to eat that stuff inside the restaurant. Felt like they could have given us more Hoisin sauce to add to the pho. It was served with grilled brisket, flank steak, cilantro, holy basil, and bean sprouts in a beef bone marrow broth. I'm a sucker for rice and knew I had to order the Slap Yo Mama Crab Fried Rice. While it's certainly on the pricey side, they definitely don't skimp out on the crab meat. This was also served with shrimp, green onion, egg yolk, butter garlic sauce, masago, cilantro and scallions. The slap to mama seasoning really went well with the rice and the shrimp and crab. This dish was delicious and would definitely considering ordering this again, but I will most likely dine in next time."
"Such a gorgeous restaurant but incredibly mediocre food. The steak was under seasoned but cooked ok, the dipping sauce it came with was delicious. The potatoes were probably my favorite dish. The fries were just ok and the wings could have had more seasoning as well. The manager came out to tell us the kitchen was backed up which explained why it took a while to get our food but they ended up giving us free fries and didn't up charge for my friends truffle fries. Service was also ok as well, our main server got less friendly throughout the night but I would still say service was fine. Overall don't think I would come back but it was a fun place to try."
"A solid find and the kitchen is open until 10:30! Located just off Michigan Ave near Fourth Presbyterian Church and The Four Seasons Hotel. FOOD Each item was bursting with flavor and very reasonably priced. Roasted rabbit tenderloin wrapped in crispy prosciutto- 5/5 Penne Arrabbiata with sausage - 3/5 *full of flavor and fresh short pasta though not a fave. I wouldn't be inclined to order it again. Sautéed Calamari with Shrimp - 4/5 Gnocchi short rib - 5/5 (gluten free option available) SERVICE Service was what you'd expect close to closing. AMBIANCE The chairs in the restaurant have seen better days almost every seat in the front of the restaurant have a clear view of who heads to and leaves from the bathroom. MISCELLANEOUS There's a 3% charge for using a credit card. We dined as walk ins at 10:20p on a Friday night and things were pretty quiet. In terms of occupancy, there were a couple of other diners who were wrapping up their meals while we were there."
"Another great restaurant in the Wicker Park area. I loved the authentic Greek food and how the dishes are small enough to try several different ones. I generally find Greek food to be quite bland but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors of the dishes we got. We got the beets, lamb and rice stuffed cabbage, sesame pastry, and the wild boar. The beets were a bit underwhelming, as they weren't anything special. But everything else was very unique and extremely tasty. My favorites were the lamb and rice stuffed cabbage and the wild boar. The wild boar was soft and tender and paired wonderfully with what I can only imagine was handmade pasta. Would definitely come again and try more dishes!"
"My friends and I visited this place on a Memorial Day long weekend for some drinks. We ordered a Cava during happy hour, which was shared by four people. The place has an impressive selection of wines from different countries! I cannot comment on the food as we didn't try any, but the bottle of wine was definitely good. The place has a nice patio and indoor space as well. The server was quite friendly; overall, it had a good vibe. I would try this place again if I'm in the neighborhood!"
"Pretty good date spot! They have a really nice selection of wines and the food looks pretty good even though I didn't have any. From the others sitting next to me, I was very tempted to order. One downside to it is that it was pretty dark inside. They kind of gave off hookah bar vibes. I sat at the bar and the bartender seemed nice a little quiet though."
"What a lovely establishment. I came for dinner on a Thursday night after long day at technology conference. Lucky for me the dinner was a treat by the tech company. This review is based on private service in the rear room. Our party was less than 30. We had two tables and a set 4-course menu. The cocktail and wine menu was expansive here. I ordered a Cosmo and a French 75. Both were great. To accompany my meal, I also had a delightful red wine (Zin). For food we had a bread assortment which was divine. That pretzel bread with goat cheese butter was to dream for. For our second course there was a great burnt watermelon feta tomato salad....yummy. Additionally, there was a a delicious side dish served with main dish. I opted for the flat iron steak which paired nicely with the roasted carrots. I ate all my steak, it was so tender. The 4th course was also great. We had an option for a stone fruit (peaches) dessert and flourless chocolate cake. I picked the flourless cake and it was good but the stone fruit dessert was much better. All-in-all a very great dinner. Ambiance and service were prime here. Our server was so great. I wish I knew his name as he was funny and kept the drinks flowing. Cherry on top of the food it that there is a free parking lot across the street. I will be back."
"Arun's has been around for a long time, and I was excited to finally check this place out! They offer a prix-fixe as well as an a la carte menu, including vegan options and a special takeout menu.We opted for the a la carte, so that we could pick-and-choose and obtain a variety. We started off with:+Crab Eggrolls - filled with blue crab meat, glass noodles, and shredded carrots and cabbage; served with a sweet and sour sauce; these were not that great, and were a forgettable app+Crab Rangoon - filled with blue crab meat, cream cheese, celery, and water chestnuts; served with a sweet and sour sauce; this had a generous amount of crab in them, so it was a pleasant surprise; however, the filling itself just didn't taste good and probably not for those who are 'purists' with crab rangoons+Fried Tofu - golden-fried organic tofu with a sweet and sour sauce; the tofu seemed to have been overfried, as the skin was just too tough and difficult to chewFor our entrees, we tried:+Phad See Ewe - wok-tossed wide noodles with Chinese broccoli and a house savory soy sauce; you can opt for organic chicken, beef, or jumbo shrimp, and we opted for beef; we were extremely disappointed, as the menu clearly states that Chinese broccoli was used, but it was not+Phad Thai - rice noodles with egg, bean sprouts, garlic chives, tofu bits, and shallots, wrapped in an egg omelet sheet; you can opt for organic chicken, jumbo shrimp, or add a grilled Alaskan king crab leg; we opted for the king crab, and there was a cracked portion of the leg, situated on top of the noodles; the noodles were a little dry and probably needed more sauce+Eggplant Basil - stir-fried eggplant with crushed garlic, cilantro, chili, Thai basil, and fermented soybeans; you can opt to add tofu, veggies, organic chicken, shrimp, or beef; we didn't go for any of the protein; this dish was okay, as the eggplant could have been more crispy, as they were more on the soggy category+Roasted Duck Red Curry - red curry with roasted duck, pineapple, sweet basil, kaffir-lime leaves, and cherry tomatoes; note that this is more on the sweeter side; the duck didn't seem to be prepared or cooked well and was unenjoyable+Massuman Curry - beef curry with sweet onions and potatoes, served with jasmine rice; we weren't fans of the beef in there+and, Shoo Shee Salmon - grilled salmon in a coconut-curry sauce, prepared with kaffir limes, sweet basil leaves, and young peppercorns; served with jasmine rice; the salmon was a little overcooked, and the curry itself was thin in consistencyOverall, we left disappointed, considering how long this restaurant has been around, we maybe had higher expectations?Service was fine. The interior of the place is a similar set up as other Thai restaurants, but slightly with an upscale vibe.Street parking can be found in the area.+inaccurate dish descriptions+okay service+street parking available"
"My luck finally ran out. 9 times of 10, food I order online is done before the promised time. I showed up about 10 minutes before the promised time and was still told it would be 20 more minutes. I ordered their Herb & Foccacia and two pizzas. The Herb & Focaccia was delicious. It came with olive oil to dip the bread but, overall a very simple flavorful dish. We went with their Margherita pizza and their Miele & Fig. I've definitely had better Margherita. It such a plan pizza that should be hard to mess up. My biggest issue was with the crust. It wasn't cooked long enough, it was more on the chewy side and not crispy enough. It was my first time trying Fig on a pizza. It was supposed to come with marinara sauce, honey goat cheese, mozzarella, dried figs, cayenne infused honey, arugula, although I mine was missing the arugula and I didn't see any honey or tasted anything cayenne on my pizza. Despite it missing those two key ingredients, the pizza was still damn delicious. It definitely changed my entire experience with this place. The goat cheese went perfect with the sweetness from the fig. The only thing it was missing was a kick from the cayenne infused honey. Will definitely be returning to try this pizza again."

Acanto is right across from Millennium Park so parking can be tough. It was pretty busy for an early Friday night dinner, and we had a 20 minute wait. If you can, highly recommend making a reservation. The menu has a lot of options, including appetizers, salads, pasta and entrees. We ordered the arancini and pear salad to share, and I ordered the fusilli. * Arancini - 5/5 well fried and the flavors of the tomato risotto with the basil pesto aioli was just amazing* Pear salad - 5/5 huge portion size, a refreshing and light salad with watercress and endives * Fusilli - 5/5 probably in my top two for squid ink pasta in Chicago! It had a decent amount of lobster, scallops and shrimp. Not spicy, but a slight kick from the calabrian chili. It was so flavorful, I ate with a spoon to get a good amount of pasta sauce with the fusilli and seafood in each bite! Loved every single dish at Acanto and definitely will be back! Highly recommend checking out Acanto!

One of the best Italian places I've ever been and one of the best pastas! A relatively petite venue but all the food we tried were amazing!

This is my 3?4th? Time back and Roister never disappoints. Their chicken is so crispy, cooked to perfection. My best friend comes to Chicago just for Roister's chicken and waffles, not for me. Service is always so pleasant and ambiance is relaxed but not loud. Perfect brunch spot!

Wow! Truly a gem with amazing food that we walked past too many times; I'm very glad we tried it.Sochi is a Vietnamese restaurant with probably THE BEST Vietnamese food I've found in chicago. All the ingredients seemed exceptionally high quality and the flavor of the dishes were complex. We tried the chicken wings, phò, and a steak dish. Everything was wonderful but the phò was the highlight of the meal. The restaurant is exceptionally clean with minimalist design and open view of the kitchen. The service was friendly and provided great recommendations for us to try!I will definitely be back to this restaurant and recommend you try it too!

This was my third visit to the restaurant. Service is as good as before. The menu is small but contains many good choices. We split the calamari and a salad. I ordered the Bucatini Carbonara. Very good but not up to the same standards as the Carbonara I have had in Italy. My neice had the Ravioli Di Aragosta and loved it. Reasonablie priced wine list.I really like the vibe and the service at this establishment. Very good price/value relationship.

I've found my new favorite Greek Restaurant in Chicago. The decor and atmosphere at Taxim definitely reflect the cuisine and the outdoor roof patio is gorgeous. The menu is a bit intimidating at first (it was all greek to me!) but the servers were all patient and knowledgeable. The food feels very authentic and not catered towards "typical American" audiences which is very rare. I truly felt transported while dining here.

One of my favorite places here in the neighborhood! The owner is SO nice and knowledgeable. You can tell how passionate she is about her space and she's always supporting local businesses in the area too. Happy hour: 1000% worth it. Tastings: also 10000% worth it! We did a private tasting with our family and our sommalier was so kind/patient with our crazy family. We learned a lot and had some great wine. You can buy snacks in addition to your tasting experience. The private tasting would be such a great gift. Also, the tasting room is seperate from the restaurant and it is super cuteFood: the menu is usually on rotation and you can't really go wrong with whatever you get! Every vegetarian dish I have had here has been some of my favorites (even though I am a meat eater). The argula & fennel salad + charred rappini are very good. The portion sizes for the short ribs and lobster cakes were generous.
Visit Restaurant Page"Absolutely no better place in Chicago for champagne than Pops!Let Champagne Jesus or any of the knowledgeable staff pick out the perfect bubbles for your visit. No "occasional?" Even better! Our group enjoyed a wine tasting, noshed on tasty snacks and sipped this stunner of a champagne on a bright, Sunday afternoon."
"I celebrated a milestone birthday in NYC & THE CHI. Hip Hop and are the same age and I wanted to represent for the culture, movement, and LOVE of Hip Hop. My girl ordered a cake and we celebrated there. I was happy to be celebrated but maybe would have chose a different place. Ambiance was very bar..there was a lady signing songs while playing the piano. Not bad... LMFAO.. she even attempted to do Gin & Juice.....Laid back... with my mind on my money...and my money on my mind!!! Kudos to her for that. When it was time for her to sing Happy Birthday.... She kept saying the wrong name....well that's Fuqd...The cake was brought out to me and she sang to someone else..... Hilarious!"
"Literally obsessed with this place!! Food it fantastic!! Service is great!! The place is small but totally worth the squeeze"
"I absolutely love this place!!! We came with a group of 9 of us and were able to sit comfortably in the outdoor space; it was so nice! The atmosphere is casual and neighborly, and I was really impressed with the attention to detail that is put into the space and the wine! All of the bottles have cool designed labels, and they play music on vinyl inside. We were able to sample our wine before getting a few bottles to split between our group. I love that they have orange wines! They were all very delicious and refreshing. I can't wait to come back here! The inside is super cute and would be fun for a cozy winter night too."
"I'm not sure how I never made it here but I'll definitely seek it out again especially on a chilly winter evening. It's a classic pub where the mixed drinks are absolutely wonderful. I walked in wanting a beer but walked out happy to have indulged in their specialities. There is a long bar extension to sit in with a few booths reserved for 4 or more (which we had). It's a dark atmosphere but those are nice sometimes. The guys working the place were awesome both in service and suggestions."
"Monday night wine tasting. We went after by chance. Bartender Katie was great! Great food. Recommend"
"We ended up here after watching a musical @ the Mercury Theater. We tired Tango Sur but the wait was 2 hours so came to Bodega Sur instead. Had a very good red sangria, hubby had the michelada . We ordered salmon, veggie burger and spinach empanadas. The food was mediocre nothing exciting but the vibe of the restaurant was trendy and cool. We had the Argentinian version of profiteroles . Overall a nice experience."
"Casual Italian is a good description of this restaurant in the middle of downtown Barrington. It has kind of high prices, but it's good quality drinks and food. Neoteca isn't the only Italian restaurant in town, but it's the best one I think. Main items include the pizza, and there's plenty of shareable appetizers. There's also a happy hour for cheaper wines as well as small bites and plates. A few things are pretty expensive but some are more affordable. It has Italian beer such as Peroni for $6 in a big glass. There's also a happy hour on weekdays. It has a lot of pizzas that are pricy. These are about $18 each or so, which sucks but these are pretty nice though. Salads are a little more affordable. There's a good looking Kale Salad that's one of the few vegetarian items. For sure it's one of the healthier choices. This comes with apples, arugula, and walnuts. Big salad, helping with the kind of high cost. This is good for a lunch. For sure it's kind of expensive. It makes up for it kind of with good quality. They're also pretty fast at getting food out and there wasn't a long wait like many Italian restaurants."
"Always great ambiance and service. Love many of their pasta and seafood dishes. Also, enjoy their cocktails. I've been many times with family and friends and always have enjoyed my time there."
"*My review contains details around Restaurant week, however, most dishes are also available under their regular Menu*My friends and I recently tried the restaurant week lunch menu at Boqueria. I've been to Boqueria multiple times in the past, and I keep coming back for their amazing tapas dishes! My friends and I personally love the mushroom croquettes the most. They literally melt in your mouth with each bite! We also tried ESCALIVADA which is roasted eggplant dish and Roasted broccoli. Roasted broccoli was my least favorite dish when compared to everything else that we tried, it was a little too cheesy! I've tried their Paella as well in the past (not part of the restaurant menu) and definitely recommend it! For desert, they have churros with a chocolate dip which again just melts in your mouth!Note: They also have bottomless mimosas during brunch hours and their sangrias are very delicious! I would recommend Boqueria for good ambiance, food and drinks!"
"Service was fineOutdoor seating was fineThe sienna chopped salad was so good, I've been craving it ever since we left. I NEED to know what kind of dressing and if they'll sell it to me. I would eat this salad everyday if I could. Please give me another salad I need it Lasagna was good and a large portionMy friend said the Octopus was good but wished there was moreMy friend said the gnocchi was okay but a little too spicy for her"
"$1 oysters and $3 chicken tacos for happy hour! They do east and west coast oysters as well as $8 espresso martinis. Service was good and staff is friendly constantly checking on us and clearing items. Overall great experience and great oysters!!"
"Cozy, beautiful and delightful! Everything about FIGO surpassed my wine bar expectations. I was here with a group of 7 and we absolutely loved our experience here.We were greeted with friendly smiles as soon as we walked in and were seated within minutes. Originally our reservations was for 5, however, we had 2 additional people and the staff accommodated us without any issues. They even offered the private space, since we were celebrating a bach party, but we opted to stay in the main area. Service throughout was exceptional. They also brought out complimentary champagne and cheesecake to keep the party going. OMG the wine selection and food menu?!?! STOPPPPPPPPPPPP. I went for the Merlot/Cab blend and it was smooth and delicious. Not as bold as I'm used too and I'm OK with that! It was sooooooo good! They also have cocktails, mocktails, spirits and beers. For food we ordered arancini, truffle fries and created our own meat and cheese board. Everything was fresh and divine. 4 apps + the meat and cheese board was the perfect amount for our group of 7. We left satisfied and not overly full. This is the ideal spot for a girls night out or date night. I really enjoyed my time here and can't wait to come back. =)"
"Not sure about the food but drinking by the river on a nice day is gonna get you 4 stars as long as something weird doesn't happen. Nothing weird happened. We had drinks and watched the boats go by (and the fun happy hour people watching too)."
"Came here because a family member was in town and were staying in the city. Someone recommended this place. It was a bit of a disappointment. The food is ok. It wasnt amazing or memorable. But sometimes the service would make up for that which in this instance it didnt. Our server was also the bartender and I cant really blame her for being busy since she was also mixing everyone else's drinks We had to request for our missing set of utensil 3 or 4 times to different people. They warned us that food comes when its ready meaning it doesnt come all together even though you order at the same time. Three people ordered the same thing the Fettucini Alfredo and they all came at a different time. One was even super late. Go figure right. One of our pizza got lost somewhere and was given to another table. The Tortellini also came when everyone was almost done eating. The upside is they did compensate us for these but if these are the only food you ordered your big intestines would be eating your small intestines because of hunger! As i said the food wasnt amazing that the poor service would compensate for. So i dont think I'd be coming back here anytime soon. Happy eating!"
"Having never been to Chicago before, I relied heavily on recommendations from some of the partners I was treating to dinner as to where we'd actually end up eating dinner; Osteria Via Stato was on two of their lists, and their menu seemed to fit all the dietary requirements and restrictions for the group. Our party of six had a 6:30 pm dinner reservation, and we were tucked into a small table in an alcove off the main dining room. This was my first time meeting four of the guests in person, and it was the first time all five of them were meeting, as well. I really wanted to focus on conversation and community, but the table behind us was quickly filled with a rowdy party of 10, which made conversation difficult towards the end.Still, we were able to have a good night and a decent dinner. I took a star off due to the service, which was not good. Our waitress kept stopping about five feet from our table to watch us for a second before disappearing for large chunks of time, occasionally ignoring our attempts to wave her down.I went with the Chicken Mario (with brown butter and broccolini, $22.95) for my main, while my guests' dishes varied from salads to pastas to fish. There was a moment where my gluten-free guest stumped our waitress by asking for a gluten-free side, which the waitress said they didn't do (one of the reasons I went with this restaurant was because they have a gluten-free menu, so the waitress wasn't working with good information.)It took an inordinate amount of time for the waitress to return to confirm they could, in fact, guarantee the side was gluten-free, which was a relief to everyone. The Chicken Mario was pretty tasty. The chicken was cooked well - a tiny crisp to the outside but juicy on the inside. They served it with a lemon, which added a nice zip of citrus to the butter sauce and the broccolini.Everyone else enjoyed their meals, but I didn't get pictures of anything. Not sure I'd go back the next time I'm in Chicago, but it was a good central spot for everyone and it gave us a chance to connect and build relationships, so I call that a win."
"I had no idea a full-service restaurant existed in this space until I had the opportunity to attend the Lakeshore East/Magellan Happy Hour here last Friday. Upon walking in, I provided my name to the host, and was given two free drink tickets in return. There are tables and chairs at the front of the restaurant, with a large bar area located just beyond, past a couple of short steps. In addition to seating around the curved bar, there are also a few (3-4) high-top tables in the space. For my two drinks, I opted for white wine. There were two separate varieties - the first pour was reminiscent of a chardonnay and the second had a more minerally flavor like a sauvignon blanc, although different names were provided on the menu. Current crush enjoyed his cranberry margarita (served on the rocks as he prefers) and an Oberon IPA. In addition to drinks, there was a buffet-style food station featuring Millennium Hall's signature flatbread pizzas, what looked like a pasta bake, and wings/other breaded apps (highly specific I know- LOL). The thin-crust mushroom pizza was a standout, but of course I love mushrooms. During my visit, I had a chance to chat with the owner. Originally from the Northeast, he had a vision to open a restaurant in the heart of Millennium Park that would appeal to both tourists and locals, through a variety of special events, including pizza making classes, and M-F happy hours. I can definitely see this concept working as a venue for wedding receptions and holiday parties. I will also point out that post-event, I got a follow-up email from a marketing/events manager at Millennium Hall thanking everyone for visiting and spotlighting some upcoming events. Thank you, Millennium Hall for making us feel welcome on a Fall Friday!"
"Meze has a lot of potential but food is mediocre at best. A friend and I went on a Saturday for dinner, made a reservation through OpenTable. It's quite a large restaurant and was pretty full. There is a spacious bar/lounge area that had live music with multiple groups of parties gathered including what looked like a bridal/bach party. Behind this is the main dining room which is also very spacious. There is also an outdoor patio which has potential for the summer. I was disappointed in the food however. We ordered a Margherita truffle flatbread, spanakopita, and Greek fries. The texture of the flatbread was good, more like pizza but we couldn't taste any truffle or other herbs. I prefer spanakopitas in the triangular shape and but taste wise they lacked much flavor. Fries are fries but I was expecting more herbs versus the feta dump. Service was as fast as it could be for someone with 6-7 tables. She was otherwise pleasant to speak to and helpful when needed. Unfortunately Meze didn't quite hit the spot for me. I'd try other Mediterranean options before resorting to coming back. Plateia's food is much more flavorful in comparison for the burbs."
"I found this place as highly rated authentic Roman Italian food and have to say I wasn't disappointed! We got arancini special of the day and a flight of bruschetta with napoli, roma and calabrese. Arancini was one of the best I have had and was perfectly crispy! The flight was very flavorful and had the freshest ingredients. The house bread was super soft from the bakery and we were in love with it! For our main entrees, we got the spaghetti nonna giovanna and lasagna. The spaghetti was uniquely flavorful and one of a kind vegetarian pasta. Overall, authentic food, great service and casual rustic ambience made our day!"
"What made this establishment a 4 vs a 3 star was the service and knowledge of the staff. Wine was good and on the unique side, however pricy."
"Love it, it's a hidden gem!!! Fabulous spot for a drink before dinner & the decor, setting and ambience are spectacular!!Located in the second floor in the Gray hotel (NW corner of LaSalle & Monroe) is a beautiful space located in a former law office. They kept all the old law books and build custom/lighted bookcases so the setting is spectacular.Small table and a few couches create intimate seating areas. Service is excellent & the craft cocktails delicious (wife enjoyed the Objection - basically an expresso martini).Love it & can't wait to go back!!!"
"So disappointed with the food here. First I'll say I made a reservation for a table for 6 to celebrate my husbands birthday. The ambience was nice and we were seated right away but there were so many flies. It was annoying constantly trying to keep them from our food and table. The service was 5 star, our servers were lovely and made my husbands birthday special with a candle in his creme brûlée... now the food...Sadly everyone in our party was disappointed and we ordered a huge mix of menu items. We spent over $650 not including tip. The French onion soup was atrocious, we ordered 2, my friend was disgusted, tasted like sour lemon soup. Both of us didn't finish them and it's our absolute favorite soup to order but definitely NOT here. Awful. I regret not asking the waiter to it off the bill.My husband ordered veal and it was the strangest dish, literally looked like a goulash, couldn't tell what the meat was, awful again. The cheese plate was literally a pear cut into small slices with 5 tiny slices of cheese on it, more pear then cheese. Sadly all our guests were disappointed with the cuisine. Made me feel bad because I made the reservation. Would not come back here. It's a pity because the location and ambiance is great just the food isn't worth it."
