Another wonderful experience at this fabulous restaurant. I cannot say enough about the warm service, the excellent food, the ambience that is so warm and inviting. We were made to feel as if we were the most important customers! All the managers, and especially Joey who has only been there for a few weeks, had such warm and inviting personalities. Not only did they create a special experience for us, but Joey had a special delicious drink created for my sister who does not drink alcohol. Jose was our waiter and he was so attentive, customer service oriented, friendly, and always at the table checking on us.I have frequented this restaurant before without a reservation and always been made to feel welcome, I would recommend this restaurant highly and give it a 5++ stars!

Had flown to Chicago all the way from the west coast for the business trip and this location was recommended by a coworker who lived in the area. We were seated outdoors when the weather was a beautiful sunny 70 degrees. We had ordered a Croquettes de Setas (with truffle aioli), Albondigas and the Tuna! We weren't super hungry so the smaller servings were perfect for us. For how small they were, each tapas still filled me up! I think my group was the biggest fan of the meatballs and I definitely chowed down on the Tuna. The croquettes had the perfect texture between creamy and crunch from the breading which was very delicious. I'm a simple rose girl and thoroughly enjoyed the drink I'd ordered that I ordered a second one. My group had another round of drinks as well and it was great to sip in between our conversations.Service was very attentive and came to check on our table often. He expressed so much patience with us as we kept chatting away and kept forgetting to take the time to review the menu. He was also so kind to let us know when he was ending his shift. That was when we realized we had been there for almost 3 hours!Thank you for making my first restaurant visit in Chicago a great experience! Definitely set a good tone for the rest of my week in the city! Next time I visit, I would try to eat inside as the ambiance looked well put together, intimate and perfect for a night out or a casual catch up with friends.

Came here after work one night. The restaurant had a very nice vibe. Good music and good lighting. My dinner date and I tried each of the sangrias, and we also ordered a couple of tapas and the seafood paella. I loved the rosé sangria and my date loved red! Out of all of the tapas the saffron steamed mussels were my favorite. However, if you are a salad person, the Brussels sprout salad was delish. The seafood paella was very good as well. The service was great! We went during happy hour and were checked on multiple times throughout our meal. Definitely coming back!

Got a haircut in Fulton market and wandered around, looking for a place where I used to get oysters. Never found it and saw this little appealing place and went in. Beautiful outdoor patio, where I sat at a high table and had a glass of wine and a couple of appetizers from their happy hour menu. Total of my bill was $23. The Tempranillo was wonderful and the appetizers of mushrooms and potatoes were delicious and exactly what I needed and didn't break my budget! I highly recommend this tapas bar! Fun music and great staff too!!! And yes, it's a place that's heavy on meat items but was able to find appetizers that were plant based!

Good quality tapas. Patio is nice in the summer but can get noisy. Service was really slow outside we had trouble flagging down our waiter every time. I think our favorites were the squid ink paella and octopus, the octopus was cooked perfectly!

What a splendid place for a quick bite or a leisurely meal. Ample seating inside and out, diverse and concise menu, delicious drinks! My favorite is their tapas trio platter, it gives you the option to try out a few different items. My absolute favorite was the croquettes with the truffle aioli. Crispy, creamy, savory... I can't wait to get them again. The lamb kebabs were amazing as well, balanced perfectly with the chimichurri. The potatoes I could skip next time - there just wasn't any wow factor The bartender was knowledgeable and friendly. Restaurant was clean, not too loud.

Fulton Market is just cool. Stopped here after a visit to a medspa just because I wanted the visit to FM to be more than just errands. I got a Happy Hour (aka cheaper/appetizer) dinner and scoped out this Spanish Tapas place. Got some food at the bar and just soaked in the atmosphere and energy.Service was stellar, ambiance was chill, and it was super fun to people watch... pretty sure the Shar Pei of a guy across from me was not there with his granddaughter... haha. Gross.

This is a really cool place with amazing service! It is reasonably priced for a price in Fulton Market and it is tapas so you definitely need a lot of dishes to be full but very good food. Some of it wasn't super flavorful or unique but still yummy and hit the spot. The noodle squid ink paella however was unique and delicious but wish it had more shrimp. Really cool inside and very well decorated with lots of seating indoors and out.

Came here for restaurant week on a Saturday morning. We had brunch reservations and were seated immediately upon arriving. Food was good but the service is the reason this was 3 stars instead of 4.Service: Our friend has a dairy allergy and expressed this to the server when she ordered her dish. The server nodded but didn't seem to be listening. After getting all of our orders, the server asked if anyone had allergies--which made it clear she wasn't paying attention earlier. My friend reiterated the allergy. Later, when the server delivered her food, my friend asked if her food was dairy-free. The server looked confused and said she was unsure but that she would check with the chef. She went to check and came back to confirm it was. While everything turned out okay, that experience left us feeling nervous since the food allergy should have been taken much more seriously. I will say I can't generalize this experience, as it may have been this one server but it needlessly made the meal stressful.Food: We ordered the restaurant week menu. For the first course I got the escalivada, which was delicious! The roasted eggplant was really good on the crisp bread slices and they gave plenty of slices. For the second course I got the arroz con albondigas, which is pork and beef meatballs with black rice, chickpeas, soft boiled eggs, and cucumber. Very delicious and a large portion size! Had to take some of it home. Lastly we received a basket of churros to share among the 4 of us who got the restaurant week meal. Churros were decent but nothing special. For some reason the server came and left us an envelope with 2 coupons for free churros. They didn't say anything when they left it so we thought it was the bill, until they came with the actual bill. Did we get that because they ran out of churros or didn't give us enough? Confusing! The timing/pacing of the food was strange too. You would think all of our first courses would come around the same time but it didn't. Some of us received the first course, but then others didn't get their food until later. And someone received the second course before their first course. Their first course never arrived until we reminded them about it. The timing with which the food came out was not ideal but it would have been better if they communicated when dishes were coming, and if they asked preferences for whether we wanted all the first course dishes to come out at the same time.Overall this place was okay. Ambience is cute and food was good but the service was frustrating.

*My review contains details around Restaurant week, however, most dishes are also available under their regular Menu*My friends and I recently tried the restaurant week lunch menu at Boqueria. I've been to Boqueria multiple times in the past, and I keep coming back for their amazing tapas dishes! My friends and I personally love the mushroom croquettes the most. They literally melt in your mouth with each bite! We also tried ESCALIVADA which is roasted eggplant dish and Roasted broccoli. Roasted broccoli was my least favorite dish when compared to everything else that we tried, it was a little too cheesy! I've tried their Paella as well in the past (not part of the restaurant menu) and definitely recommend it! For desert, they have churros with a chocolate dip which again just melts in your mouth!Note: They also have bottomless mimosas during brunch hours and their sangrias are very delicious! I would recommend Boqueria for good ambiance, food and drinks!
