Quartino Ristorante

Some of the best italian I've had in Chicago! My boyfriend and i quite literally ordered the whole menu in the pictures below including a salad and each got a couple drinks for under $100! This is a family style restaurant and is meant to be shared which was perfect for us because we wanted to try everything. The bolognese, chicken parm and pepperoni pizza were phenomenal and definitely worth coming back especially for the price. My favorite was the real block of parmesan cheese they have on the table for you to grate. Overall everything here was delicious and fresh. It is a perfect date night spot for some good Italian food.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. They have so many different rooms but it didn't feel isolated. We decided on eating family style. Started with the crispy calamari which was a little soggy in my opinion. Next came the margherita pizza which looked amazing. I thought the crust was a little over cooked but enjoyed the cheese to sauce ratio. For the pastas, we got the orecchiette and penne alla vodka. The orecchiette was perfectly cooked and the sausage was so flavorful. The penne alla vodka had a nice amount of sauce and was balanced. The final dish was the porcini & truffle risotto which was a major disappointment. I thought it was closer to rice with mushrooms as it lacked starch and cream. Overall, I liked the prices and the variety making it a good place to go with friends or family.

We had a fantastic dinner at Quartino. I really enjoyed the pizza (even though it's not the popular Chicago-style). Our party enjoyed getting several different dishes and sharing them. Everything was wonderful. Save room for the tiramisu! Nice ambience inside as well.

A night out for some out of state friends. This place is affordable, quaint environment, and casual vibes. I enjoyed the white wine mussels, the creamy ricotta cheese with honey, and the made in Italy olive oil! If you don't have a reservation, go to the bar area, there are high tables as well as bar seating :)

Came here because a family member was in town and were staying in the city. Someone recommended this place. It was a bit of a disappointment.The food is ok. It wasnt amazing or memorable. But sometimes the service would make up for that which in this instance it didnt. Our server was also the bartender and I cant really blame her for being busy since she was also mixing everyone else's drinks We had to request for our missing set of utensil 3 or 4 times to different people. They warned us that food comes when its ready meaning it doesnt come all together even though you order at the same time. Three people ordered the same thing the Fettucini Alfredo and they all came at a different time. One was even super late. Go figure right.One of our pizza got lost somewhere and was given to another table. The Tortellini also came when everyone was almost done eating. The upside is they did compensate us for these but if these are the only food you ordered your big intestines would be eating your small intestines because of hunger!As i said the food wasnt amazing that the poor service would compensate for. So i dont think I'd be coming back here anytime soon. Happy eating!

Quarrino's is simply fantastic! The menu offers the freshest tasting menus of fish, pasta, cheese, olives, & pizza. They have a full bar and a great selection of table wines that are, IMO, better than any names vineyard.Tonight we started w the 4-cheese pizza w pepperoni and calamari and then moved on to the Fettuccini Alfredo. We finished with lemon & chocolate gelato. The portions are smaller as the menu is designed to order multiple dishes to share. Quartino's hops, jumps, & buzzes. This is NOT the place if you want a quiet dinner for two. But, given the food, energy, and aura, we continue to return for the food. It just can't be beat. Thanks Chef John! We were lucky enough to sit outside, 2nd floor no less, and had a lovely server (thanks, Sofia, you rock!) Highly recommend, you just can't go wrong! :-)

After a long workout at Faces of Fitness this weekend, my friend and I were craving a good salad. We sat on the patio and had a lovely time. I think our server initially forgot about us as no one took our order for 20+min, but my friend and I were catching up so we didn't mind. I ordered the brussels sprout salad and it was AMAZING! It was perfectly creamy, slightly sweet but full of flavor. They also had an interesting selection of cocktails, so I will definitely be coming back for those.

Best tortellini I've ever had and over the top service! Will definitely be back. Latoya was super!

Food and table service was great. Hosts with blonde hair underneath ( ew) was rude. She shouldn't work in customer service.

Bread was stale but the pasta and pizza tasted very fresh. A true italics an experience. MAMMA MIA.
