"Excellent addition to the neighborhood! Inside it's so elevated and beautiful! The decor and vibes are 100%. We had amazing cocktails, delish fries, and an amazing piece of pie for dessert. My husband and I already had dinner elsewhere but we are already planning to come back to try their burger! The hospitality from all the staff inside was top notch. They are all so kind and helpful. The space is on the smaller side, so make sure to make a reservation on their website or Tock."
"Food: I think this is the best Japanese restaurant I've eaten at. The best salad we've ever had. Ginger house salad was amazing. The miso soup was super flavorful. The teriyaki chicken was perfect.Service: Immediately sat down, ordered, very friendly and quick.Ambiance: Very very clean. Holiday deco, soft music was nice."

I love that we can sit right by the grill and watch all the magic happen! Sure the awkward eye contact with the cooks can be strange but it's also oh so fun!Stopped by after a late night DJ set at a club and we were mildly hungry. I had the carne asada steak taco, Al pastor, and the lengua. They did NOT skimp on the meat and flavor. My friend got a tostada with nopales and steak and it was MASSIVE!My other friend got the carne en su jugo soup and it was what dreams are made of! Fried onions and fried bacon thats then grilled with steak then put into a big o bowl with broth and avocado!!! Rich and heavenly...absolute comfort in a bowl! Definitely can't wait to go back!"
"This place looks tiny and unassuming from the outside but so spacious and beautiful on the inside! Walking in felt like I was transported back into Asia. There isn't much customers eating inside the restaurant (I assume they get most of their orders online) which is a shame because the interior is beautiful and clean! We had Sue cook and serve us and she told us how PS Bangkok has been in business since 80s which is amazing, Their food was so delicious after all so it was no surprise. For appetizers we tried the chive dumplings and it was a delicious mix of sweet, umami, and tangy with a fabulous chewy texture. The pad see ew was amazing! (Chicken and beef) it was just a right amount of sweet and savory with lots of protein. I suggest you also try their Thai green river which was super yummy! It tastes like sweet pandan and super refreshing! I enjoyed my experience here. My friend told me how she thought the food was perfect and cannot wait to be regulars. Can't wait to come back! I'm"
"We were fortunate enough to find a table right away when we went. It seemed like a table they weren't planning to sit anyone at, but they offered it to us and since it was getting late and we were starving we happily accepted. The service did take for ever. Probably a good 20 minutes before we were able to place our order. It is BYOB and ordered a Michelada mix. A very decent sized glass ready for me to pour my Pacifico beer in it. It tasted delicious and was probably the highlight of my meal. They do start you off with a complimentary tostada de Ceviche along with a very very very hot salsa to go with it. It was tasty, but boy did it burn. I also ordered my usual Pina rellena, but was very disappointing. It's half a pineapple cut open with a mixture of seafood mixed with their crema sauce. On the side you get a very tasty rice, garlic bread, fries and a side of salad which I never ever touch. Unfortunately the Pina rellena had way too much mushrooms, cheese and imitation crab than anything else. Personally, I've had some that would blow this Pina rellena out of this water. Some have come with real crab legs, octopus, calamari, and mussels. This one didn't. Sadly, I won't be returning here. I really wanted to like it here, but their very slow service and their mediocre food won't change my mind."
"Came here for a yummy Mexican dinner and this place had lots of variety to try and was a fun ambiance! If you are looking for tacos this is a great spot! We came with a group of 7 for and ended up ordering:* queso with chorizo - these was cheesy goodness and the saltiness of the meat complimented the dish perfectly. This also came with tortillas which was awesome!* queso with mushrooms - this felt lighter than the chorizo order but I really loved this also. The queso was on point and delicious!* Al pastor taco - this was a bit on the oily side but the meat was flavorful and well seasoned* crispy shrimp taco - this was very yummy and I loved how the shrimp was well fried and the batter was not too thick!I also tried my friends crispy fish taco which was yummy, and the salsas were delicious also! Overall an awesome experience with great service!"
"Went here for dinner with a friend. The restaurant is much bigger than you can tell from the street. They have an enclosed heated patio in the back area where which we sat. They give you as many orders of fresh chips and salsa as you wish. Salsa is kinda spicy, but I prefer it that way. We ordered Al pastor enchiladas which were very good and got the churros for dessert. There are cheaper Mexican restaurants in the area but this place isn't overpriced. Service was also very good and attentive. Will be visiting again."
"My wife and I took a river cruise in Chicago and she wanted to dine at one of the restaurants along the river afterward. She looked on yelp for one that we might be able to afford and judging by yelp's dollar signs, this restaurant was one of the few. We walked quite a ways to get here, but it was worth it. We sat outside because the moon was full and the weather was perfect. We were seated immediately along the river. The views were amazing, even at night. We were given water and menus. Our waiters were extremely friendly and thoughtful. My wife requested sliders and a shrimp appetizer. We also requested some drinks. My drink of choice was an amaretto sour, which was just okay. I think it was a little unbalanced as I didn't taste much amaretto. It was still yummy, however.A little while later, the sliders arrived. They had filet mignon on them and they were delicious. The shrimp appetizer was delicious and bold tasting at first, but I found myself getting tired of the flavor by the time we were done eating it. Overall, our visit was excellent. Great food, great service, great views, and decent prices."
"First off people....this is fast food not sit down white table cloth restaurant impress your Tinder date establishment. If you are after Westside Chicago fried foods served hot, that's what you will get. Only thing.... check ur bag before you leave bc they left out our coleslaw and side of spaghetti. They also have lotsa desserts...cake, pudding and cookies. We ordered fried chicken, wow. Fried catfish and Italian beef sandwich, both decent."
"The only Islas Maria's worth going to! Food here is tasty and authentic and fresh. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT bother going to the Berwyn location. Good micheladas, great Langostinos!"
"I picked up 3 "build your bag" with shrimp, corn and potatoes from here. The food was ready when promised and more importantly they had phenomenal customer service. Very friendly and full of smiles. The food itself was really good. But not very filling. Definitely on the pricier side. I ordered level 3 hot with a corn and a potato for $1 each per side. We started making our own Cajun shrimp bags at home and will most likely continue to do so. There's something you're better off doing at home and this is one of them. I can still see myself returning, just not anytime soon."
"Flambe India is a wonderful place to get tasty and delicious Indian food. In my two visits here (for carry-out only), I had good experience, and the food was good both the times. On my most recent visit, I ordered their EGGPLANT CHERRY TOMATO CURRY (cubes of eggplant and cherry tomato cooked in a rich sauce of golden fried onions and tomatoes), NATKHAT BHEER MASALA (chunks of lamb soaked in a mixture of yogurt, garlic, ginger, papaya, and spices, roasted in Tandoor served on top of a creamy tomato and onion sauce), a couple of garlic naans, one tandoori roti, and a side of sliced onions and jalapeños. Rice came with the entrées and did not need to be ordered separately. I placed my order over the phone and went to pick up the food by the time I was informed the order would be ready. Upon arriving for pick-up, I received good service. The restaurant looked clean and inviting. I liked its decor and there was plenty of seating inside and some outside. I had to wait to a few minutes as there were other patrons before me that were being attended. Upon having the food I ordered, I can firmly say that Flambe India's food is bold and flavorful. It was quite to my liking. The eggplant cherry tomato cherry was a unique dish that I had not come across before, and the roasted lamb chunks in a creamy tomato and onion sauce definitely exceeded my expectations as the lamb was cooked properly and it was mixed in well in the marinade it was prepared. The Naan, tandoori roti, and rice were good. I liked my overall experience in trying Flambe India. Their menu has a nice variety of dishes to choose from, and in my two visits, the food has been tasty and of good quality. The only issue I had is their menu's pricing. The dishes are more expensive in price than they should be. We are talking about Schaumburg and Chicago level pricing. Some items are easily two to three dollars more than they should be. However, I understand that good quality food comes with its share of costs. Anyway, I liked the food at this restaurant and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes food Indian food."

Oliver's in the south loop is a gem.I ate at Oliver's this weekend. It's on Wabash in the south loop. It was delicious. Every dish was a hit. They are still finishing up the restaurant, but we didn't care. They nailed all their dishes. Their gnocchi was pillowy and amazing.Their bread grilled in beef fat was spectacular.Their chicken was moist and juicy. The key lime pie was one of the best I've ever had. They have a really top notch chef and same with their mixologist (he was at Scofflaw). We spent time talking to the owner as well. Such a nice person. He exited a couple software companies and decided he wanted a passion project. Well, you can sense his passion throughout the entire place. I can't wait to go back.At the end we asked for an espresso martini to split amongst the four of us as we wanted to taste it. Instead of bringing us one cocktail he had it split into four cute tiny glasses. We didn't ask for that. They really nailed everything. It's a little on the pricey side, but it doesn't feel any more expensive than most good restaurants these days.Only change I would make would be perhaps to either cook the onions on the burger a little longer or perhaps don't put them on. Pretty minor critique.Excited to go back.

This was a pretty decent Japanese restaurant. Quality and prices aren't the best but they have nice decor and the portion sizes are very generous. I guarantee you won't go starving if you order entrees and sushi rolls. I think they try to add some "fancy items" but they should just focus on keeping it more simple. This is far from being fine dining. I got the tonkatsu entree, green turtle speciality roll, and a scallop sake shooter. Tonkatsu was a little dry but still edible. They probably shouldn't have cooked it too long. Green turtle specialty roll was good. It's shrimp over bbq freshwater eel and it does contain some wasabi mayo. Everything was balanced, not too much rice. The scallop sake shooter was a bit of a letdown. Maybe the oyster would have gone down easier. The scallop took a bit to slide down from the glass to your mouth. It does have a bit of spice to it. Overall, a 3. Service was okay, they could be more attentive like refilling waters and asking if we need anything.Tonkatsu - 3.5Green turtle - 5Scallop sake shooter - 2

You want good tacos you go to Pilsen! I've been to a half dozen places here but I really like Coyotes! The carne asada and pollo is perfectly cooked! Standard cilantro and onion perfection. Great service and full belly. They also have the Senorial Sangria I like that not everybody has. Reminds me of eating tacos as a kid at my old friend's family restaurant. I lived in LA 11 years and you can't get much better than that unless you're headed to Mexico. Glad we have Pilsen in Chicago to enjoy some carne asada tacos for days! Gracias

This place is an absolute gem with the most homely feeling ever!!! It was entirely empty when we went and the interior is beautiful. It was comforting to have the space to ourselves and also the owner is an old lady who is super sweet and personally greets you and very sweetly asks about your food preferences before freshly cooking your food! I really enjoyed my basil fried rice which had the perfect amount of spice that was tolerable! I will note that this place is better for a more intimate and casual dinner rather than a fancier one with big groups as the owner does talk to you here and there and it has the feel of eating at a grandparent's house. Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to be back!

One evening after celebrating a Cubs night game walk off win, I was in dire need of late evening drunk food. Fortunately on the way home, and walking distance from my place, I entered Big Star Mariscos with 30 minutes to spare before closing. Asking the bartender what I should order with limited time remaining, he instructed me to order this savory, cheesy goodness since it was only on special for who knows how much longer. Goodness do I hope they remain on the menu forever! I was surprised that at a Mariscos(seafood) taco joint I'd be eating lamb, but after tasting these amazing tacos, I can't imagine how good the tacos are that come from the sea! The lamb meat was already full of flavor before dipping each bite of each taco into the wonderful consumme. The tortillas soaked up the broth so well and each cheesy, meaty bite was heaven in my mouth. The only two things I can complain about is that I wish there were more than two tacos per order because they were so damn good and that I wish the kitchen/restaurant was open later so that I could have these tacos really late night! If you're ever in need of delicious tacos in West Town, check out Big Star Mariscos!

El Nuevo has so much more than meets the eye!! I've walked by a million times, but finally found the time to try it out! We were easily seated without a reservation on a Friday at 7pm because the restaurant is much larger than I expected!! It is very large and deep, and all the exposed brick in the back room and heaters on the patio make it super cozy! Pleasant surprise. The service was also exceptional. Alfredo was our server, and he seemed to really take pride in his job. He also made great menu recommendations when my boyfriend ordered pork tacos, and he suggested a more elevated pork variation that was a special. Pomegranate margarita was exactly what I was hoping for, and my enchiladas were the perfect serving size. I was very happy with the value of this date night dinner spot!

Had a reservation for an event. Service was great it did take a little but I wasn't surprised as there was 12 people in our group. Drinks were good, I got a non alcoholic mule and it had great flavors. Appetizer we got the caesar salad, the dressing was good and the croutons all of it went well. Perfect to share with two or even three people. The salad was chopped up into fine pieces which was kind of annoying to eat. Entree wise I got the steak frites. I made a mistake ordering medium well instead of medium rare. I didn't check was steak was being used and seemed to be flank. It was very tough it hurt my jaw chewing it. It was too late to ask for a different piece and just didn't want to make a scene. Flavors were there though but wow it was super tough. Fries on the plate were as hard as a rock. 85% we're and the rest you had to find soft ones. Also ordered the ribeye, flavoring was good and it was cooked well. No complaints. Overall I'd come back during the summer to sit outside and maybe try another dish
Visit Restaurant Page"I went here to eat on a Saturday afternoon with a friend and had a wonderful time. Food and service were excellent and made with care. We both got the Escovitch red snapper with garlic mashed potatoes and mustard greens for one dinner and Mac n cheese, brussel sprouts and carrot fluff for the other dinner. Portions were generous and I did have leftovers for another meal. Let me tell you the fish was flaky and tender. It was also a nice portion and seasoned well. All of the sides were tasty but the winner was the carrot fluff! I know what your thinking but get it out your head! It tasted just like sweet potatoes. It was an excellent choice with the fish. Thanks Eat to Live!"
"I came across an add on IG for this restaurant (which I've been planning to check out) and they had a promotion to download the inKind app to get $75 off a $225+ bill so we came in on a Friday night which happened to also be around our anniversary so i mentioned that in our Open Table reservation and also requested a quiet table. We were seated right away and in the back which we preferred bc it was kinda loud, nothing offensive, but we just prefer no distractions during dinner. Our server was extremely well versed in the menu and very...lets say...passionate in her delivery. I didn't mind but it was a bit intense for my husband lol. She went thru almost all of it which we appreciated bc my husband was planning on the beef cheeks but when she explained that was a pasta meal he changed his mind. We ended up going with the hamachi appetizer and splitting the bone in ribeye and mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. They also brought out a complimentary dessert which was pretty good but I can't remember what it was. Our favorite steakhouses are RPM Steak and Bavette's and this was on par with them. We had a cocktail and a bottle of red and everything with tax and tip came out to $340 which is slightly less than our favorites and this spot is not downtown so we'll definitely be back when we don't feel like dealing with dt traffic. If you're a fan of steakhouses, check it out, esp if they still have that promo. One thing to note is that parking is tough but they do have valet."
"I randomly found this place in my Chicago trip because my hotel was only 2 blocks away.I was blown away. The chicken gizzard was tender, cheap, fresh and went so well with the hot sauce. I had chances to try out many fancy places in Chicago but I still remember the taste of the food here.Strongly recommended."
"Ahh! This used to be Cafe Luigi Pizza, remember that? This is part of the Toro Sushi people which is next door. The staff and service is very good.P.S. Soft opening for a couple weeks until the grand opening."
"If you don't mind not seeing "the show" (onion volcanoes, beating hearts, rolling eggs) or having soup or salad, the flavor is phenomenal. So is the garlic sauce. For about $38, the combo is a large portion. Heavy on the rice. In terms of ambiance, it's more of a carry out business on a corner with a fair amount of metered parking. If you wanted to eat your meal there, there's about eight (8) two person tables. SERVICE: Each time I placed my order online and was pleased that it's ready much sooner than than predicted. I hope this BoB thrives and expands to offer a true hibachi type dining experience. Definitely worth checking out."
"Had Sunday brunch at Venuti's restaurant. I loved the elegant and upscale ambiance of the space. The restaurant was not busy, due to it being Superbowl Sunday. This worked fine for me :) The food options were fantastic! They had the following stations: Salads (love the crab salad!)Hot entrees (lots of classic Italian options)OmeletWafflesCarving (PRIME RIB!!) Service was friendly, efficient, and on point. Used plates were removed quickly, drinks were replenished without having to ask. I was very pleasantly surprised with the variety of vegetarian friendly dishes. Don't get me wrong, they definitely had plenty of protein entrees to choose from (fish, chicken, beef, sausage). The only critique I have is that the prime rib was cold. That was the first thing I got for my meal, and I tucked in right away, so it wasn't sitting in my plate for any length of time. But it was definitely not warm, even though it was maintained under a heat lamp.Venuti's Sunday brunch is an absolute treat, and I cannot wait to go back."
"I visited Shawarma Garden and I was totally impressed. I was visiting from New Jersey, which has its own excellent shawarma, and I came in with no expectations. I ordered the Gyro sandwich, the Fattoush salad, and a falafel platter to share. Everything was amazing! The dressing on my salad was particularly fantastic. The staff was friendly and even delivered our food to our table and they remembered exactly what each of us ordered. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!"
"Loved everything about our meal here, except our waiter. He never came back to the table and offered to get refills, and seemed like he was only there to take the order, as another gentleman delivered our food. Aside from that we really loved the open-space feel and chill vibes. The musician was stellar on the day we were there (wish I'd gotten his name). Ordered a Caesar salad and added shrimp to the salad and I REGRET NOTHING! The salad was FANTASTIC! Would I go back? For sure! Would I actually know where to park this time--also yes!"
"Ahh! This used to be Cesar's, remember that? This is the same size as Cesar's but a whole new look. They have drag shows every weekend. The staff and service is fantastic."
"This restaurant lands in my Top 10 in Chicago. I have a few friends who were visiting Chicago and wanted the locals experience. Jordyn's Soul Cafe was one of the restaurants I had on the list for outings and there was no disappointment at all.The cocktails that we ordered were of the "if I were to mix this at home" variety. They were not heavy-handed with alcohol and they weren't watered down. Goldilocks would have approved. We started with fried green tomatoes, fried okra, and deviled eggs. Whatever dipping sauce came with the tomatoes was a very good option. We also used it for dipping the fried okra. With all of us being from the South, we totally approved of the deviled eggs.As to the entrees, here is where it became obvious that the chef does not play. Plates that came to the table were lamb chops with macaroni and cheese and broccolini; salmon with sweet potatoes and string beans with potatoes; chicken lasagna; and catfish with spaghetti and greens. Yes, it took awhile for the entrees to come to the table, but that was assurance that nothing was microwaved and rushed to us immediately after our orders were taken. When we arrived, the hostess informed us that the kitchen was behind and that there was going to be a wait before we were seated. I appreciate that kind of up-front acknowledgement, which meant that we adjusted our expectations accordingly. Nevertheless, Jordyn's exceeded our expectations once we sat and got started."
"I wanted to add 3 additional items that are worth ordering. Beef tataki, soft shell crab, and tonkatsu dinner. Tokatsu dinner you get a nice big piece of pork loin. It's crunchy and moist. 5/5. Soft shell crab is not overly fried it's just right. Tastes great with that ponzu sauce. 5/5. Beef tataki has great quality NY strip meat. Make sure you eat it with the garlic, green onions, and ponzu sauce. Those components will amplify the taste"
"Recently, a friend had sent a text to me with a listing of restaurants to try in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago. The Licking was one of the restaurants on the list. I had no idea that DJ Khalid had opened a spot on the Chicago landscape, as The Licking is one of his restaurants. Not bad and a nice addition to Austin since it's not the usual fish hut, rib joint, or chicken shack.I arrived early enough to have the restaurant to myself. For an appetizer, I ordered the chicken roll that came with a sweet chili sauce. High marks. They didn't try to go gourmet or spectacular, just sent rolls to the table that tasted delicious. For my main meal, I ordered fried red snapper with collards and sweet potatoes. I appreciate the red snapper being meaty and having only a light crust. I used some more of the sweet chili sauce or dipping, which was a good option. The greens were flavorful and without any salt meat, ham hock, or smoked turkey. Often restaurants serve bland greens if they don't use hock or turkey. That was not the case here. The sweet potatoes were a nice add-on that they didn't mess up. Having eaten too much, I had a slice of caramel cake for takeaway. It was from someone who baked the desserts of premises. I can't ding the restaurant for the cake needing to be warmed up to moisten it, but I will pass on it next time around. The woman working the front of the house was cool. Made good recommendations and also spoke at length about some other good restaurants in the Austin area. Like many restaurants I've gone to lately, I will have to go back later to try a few other items on the menu."
"Been here way too many times for this to remain a 4 star review. The food remains consistently good and the service, well, it's friendlier than most but it's a rather large dining area and the customers really like this place - so what I'm trying to say is - you have to be aggressive in flagging down your server. You might want to bring a red scarf or a little Nordstrom Rack flag to stick up, in case you want some more tea. I personally like the crab Rangoon, their beef chow fun, and Chinese broccoli. Most of all, I'd say that I like the owner. You see, the old Honkee was an old school restaurant, nothing fancy but this newer restaurant is over the top with the high ceilings and brighter atmosphere. The owner reinvested and his American dream, well it really shows. The food is consistently good and HonKee easily rivals some of the Southside Chinatown spots. There's a small private parking lot but if it's full, there's a public lot next to it and there's also street pahking."
"The Palm is a true classic.Located in or connected to The Swissotel Hotel, it is convenient for visitors staying at the hotel and locals alike. The Lakeshore East neighborhood has really filled in, with a ton of residential high-rise buildings and several hotels. The shape of the var and dining room is unique. It feels like there are a lot of angles, which give a unique and interesting vibe. Floor to ceiling windows allow a ton of natural light in and makes it easy to watch the city nightlife too. A lot of wood beams keep the coziness apparent.I love the staff here. They really make a great place even better. Curt the Manager is incredible. He is so personable and kind. The bartenders are always efficient and friendly. For lunch, I always want to have Darlene take care of me. She is funny and personable. I love all of the food I have tried over the decades. My favorite is the GiGi salad. It is big and filling, yet light and fresh. I could eat it every day!Street parking is still pretty plentiful so there is no reason not to visit!"
"I've only gotten carryout from this restaurant which is a solid choice for Russian / Eastern European cuisine. The flavor and style of cooking is very similar to Allegro Deli, which provides selections of salads, soups, grilled meats, sides, and delicious entrees.Though not cheap, you can get well-prepared entrees for only a few more dollars than fast food nearby."
"Located inside Sheraton Grand. Convenient and was seated immediately for dinner with an unexpected very late arrival to hotel. Chill modern steakhouse ambiance. Attentive service.Nicely "Fried Calamari". Good was my lightly seasoned medium rare "Cowboy Ribeye". Hard to cut were their "Roasted Brussel Sprouts".Expensive as expected, and I have no problem coming back to this steakhouse again if I was under the same conditions as of this visit.Cheers!"
"Back to the jajang I've been eating for the past 10 years whenever I visit Chicago. I haven't had it in maybe 3 to 4 years? It's just so shocking to me. How low the reviews are but how this is my favorite jajang place ever. After resetting my tastebuds, I want to downgrade Paiks down to four star. However, we don't have anything like this so if I could give it six stars, I would. It's a food court, it's not that expensive, but it's so delicious. I wish I could show you pictures, but we ate it too quickly."
"Fire sandwiches. Would definitely recommend trying their food. Super quality ingredients. Definitely ordering from here again"
"We were surprised to be able to be seated right away for a group of 4 on a Friday. It seemed busy inside but I think many people were there for a takeout order. This place is BYOB, which I appreciated, since their menu is so extensive. I would want them to focus solely on their menu.We got Mackerel a la carte - this was really good. As for rolls, we shared the Mafia, Tequila, Orchard, Inari, and a couple other ones that I can't remember. The black rice ones were surprisingly really good. The menu is very big, so it is very overwhelming to read and choose. I also dislike the amount of super white tuna (escolar) usage - this is a fish that is not very digestible. I'd consider coming back now that I've seen the menu once."
"Had a very pleasant surprise at this unassuming Chinese restaurant on Cortland. It for sure doesn't look like much but don't let the looks fool you into thinking it sucks. LAN's Nine Nine is a hidden gem as the saying goes, close to a bunch of industrial crap like warehouses. Go across the bridge close to Ashland and you'll be right here. There's very affordable options including appetizers and tofu. Chinese food often is like the same but it's not quite as much like that here. It's not a massive menu but there's plenty to choose from though. There's options for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Got a few Vegetable Spring Rolls for about $5, which is impressive. There were about five and came with a sauce. It's about $11 for an entree. Pretty good prices especially for fancier Chinese restaurants around here. Shared the Family Tofu With Vegetables. It seemed like a lot. This was packed with tofu and spicy flavors that really needed us to cool off. Has plenty to go in and around it but many like to come here while eating and listening to the loud music. It's likely going for the crowds but no sure exactly how successful it is because there's usually not that many people. There's plenty of the meaty options but there's also tofu for vegans and vegetarians."
"Classic old school seafood restaurant great hosts and super service to compliment great seafood"
"Amazing! This is the best place on the bitty Southside for shrimp. I went over to Lawrence's Fisheries. Yeah...the place that has the best seafood in Chicago, since forever. No! Red Snapper makes shrimp the way they are supposed to be. The establishments best seasonings, batter, fry and serve. That is it. Not some thick encasing of batter with a moist shrimp on the inside. Thank you Red Snapper for preparing shrimp the way they are supposed to be. With the first bite I was taken back home to the coast of Georgia. We also had the chicken tenders, which were huge and for the price the quantity matches for both items. The only issue I have with Red Snapper. Is that nibble bite of coleslaw. It was not enough, but the slaw is damn good. I had delivery for this order and the delivery was pretty fast and we ordered through GrubHub. Will defo be ordering from them again."
"I'm not sure how I never made it here but I'll definitely seek it out again especially on a chilly winter evening. It's a classic pub where the mixed drinks are absolutely wonderful. I walked in wanting a beer but walked out happy to have indulged in their specialities. There is a long bar extension to sit in with a few booths reserved for 4 or more (which we had). It's a dark atmosphere but those are nice sometimes. The guys working the place were awesome both in service and suggestions."
