Red Snapper Fish Chicken and Grill

We ordered from here yesterday and the food actually was pretty good. It ended up being better than I expected. I had the philly cheesesteak combo. It came with fries and a can of soda. I paid $11.99 on Grubhub. I didn't remove the lettuce and tomato, but the sandwich was seasoned well and definitely had a lot of flavor. There was a good portion of steak.My fiancé ordered the Italian beef combo. He wanted cheese and peppers on his, but there was no selection to add those. But they did dip it well and he said it did have a lot of flavor and he liked it. The fries were just OK, the grease had a weird flavor.

Food inspection needed asap. Location selling old food to the black community. Ordered 3 polishes 2/18/23 and each one was dried out and not good for human consumption. The last time I was there, in early 2022. I ordered a gyro which was also old and had to toss so I wouldn't get sick. When I went in today it appeared to be remodeled with new ownership. Being hopeful I took the chance. But I was wrong. We deserve quality food and service in our neighborhood. Inspector where you at.

Food normally always cold wings be hot at times so not my favorite choice of places but it will due! Philly Sandwich good

If you click one star then Yelp states "Eek! Methinks not." and that's what I think about this place with a few expletives thrown in. Ordered from here via Grubhub for delivery with a 45 minute estimated delivery time....you already know how this review is gonna go....After 90 minutes I call the restaurant and am informed that they do not deliver to our address and that they placed a cancellation request for my order as soon as they received it *major side eye* Since it's so close, I asked could I come pick the food up. Get it home to eat, the food is closed, how does food get below room temperature in 20 minutes (probably because you made it an hour ago when you decided you were too lazy to deliver. THEN on top of it, it wasn't even good and the order was incomplete! When I called Grubhub to complain and get a partial refund, after speaking to the manager, they indicated they DO deliver to my address....so someone was just too lazy to deliver our food to us. Really disgusted with the service and food from this place and I definitely won't be back...too many other subpar restaurants to patronize, sorry not sorry!

OMG Trice is the absolute best! She is so kind and personable! She is the true definition of customer service! Nick cooked our jumbo shrimp on the spot after order had been completed. Best Red Snapper location on the south side.

I like the food but the Customer Service and management is terrible - I ordered the Catfish tail and discovered when I got home that they had gave me Perch fish was cheaper and not what I wanted, I waited on the phone forever to speak to someone just to be told bring the food back and we'll remake your order - after explaining I phoned my order in because I have to work and time was limited the cashier said that's just the store policy I don't make the rules they will not give you free food on your next visit if you already ate the food they cooked. I mentioned it's not my fault that I did not get the order I paid for and I should not have to spend gas and time to come back so that you can correct my order without even a simple sorry or compensation.

Amazing! This is the best place on the bitty Southside for shrimp. I went over to Lawrence's Fisheries. Yeah...the place that has the best seafood in Chicago, since forever. No! Red Snapper makes shrimp the way they are supposed to be. The establishments best seasonings, batter, fry and serve. That is it. Not some thick encasing of batter with a moist shrimp on the inside. Thank you Red Snapper for preparing shrimp the way they are supposed to be. With the first bite I was taken back home to the coast of Georgia. We also had the chicken tenders, which were huge and for the price the quantity matches for both items. The only issue I have with Red Snapper. Is that nibble bite of coleslaw. It was not enough, but the slaw is damn good. I had delivery for this order and the delivery was pretty fast and we ordered through GrubHub. Will defo be ordering from them again.

Do not patronize this restaurant. This is is another example of a foreigner coming into a black community and disrespecting it. I ordered a large catfish steak dinner and received the smallest pieces of fish which as a result were full of small bones. When I called to ask for another order or a refund I was told there was no replacement or refund and that's what they received and have no control over the quality or size. We have to stop giving our hard earned money to establishments like this that totally don't treat us like they value our business. I will never go here again!!!

Worst place ever never got my order ordered at 5:45 PM still no order at 8:40 GrubHub couldn't solve the problem so they just cancelled the whole order now my credit card is pending.
