This place is an absolute gem with the most homely feeling ever!!! It was entirely empty when we went and the interior is beautiful. It was comforting to have the space to ourselves and also the owner is an old lady who is super sweet and personally greets you and very sweetly asks about your food preferences before freshly cooking your food! I really enjoyed my basil fried rice which had the perfect amount of spice that was tolerable! I will note that this place is better for a more intimate and casual dinner rather than a fancier one with big groups as the owner does talk to you here and there and it has the feel of eating at a grandparent's house. Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to be back!

This place looks tiny and unassuming from the outside but so spacious and beautiful on the inside! Walking in felt like I was transported back into Asia. There isn't much customers eating inside the restaurant (I assume they get most of their orders online) which is a shame because the interior is beautiful and clean! We had Sue cook and serve us and she told us how PS Bangkok has been in business since 80s which is amazing, Their food was so delicious after all so it was no surprise. For appetizers we tried the chive dumplings and it was a delicious mix of sweet, umami, and tangy with a fabulous chewy texture. The pad see ew was amazing! (Chicken and beef) it was just a right amount of sweet and savory with lots of protein. I suggest you also try their Thai green river which was super yummy! It tastes like sweet pandan and super refreshing! I enjoyed my experience here. My friend told me how she thought the food was perfect and cannot wait to be regulars.Can't wait to come back! I'm

Authentic, delicious food made by a genuine, hospitable chef and owner (Sue). This place has been open for decades and there's a reason the reviews are outstandingRecently, Sue made the decision to only utilize the back section of the dining room as it's closer to the kitchen and phone becaue after years of running such a well-loved, successful business, it's begun to take a toll on her ability to easily walk the entire length of the restaurant over and over againBecause of this, the front section is closed off and from the front windows you would think the restaurant is closed/under rennovations. THEY'RE OPENMy boyfriend and I visited on a slow Sunday evening. The pad see ew was so perfectly spicy at a level 3 (typically I'd go for a 4 but Sue warned me and I'm glad she did!) and my boyfriend loved his red corn curry, even spicy at a level 2!Sue was so welcoming and it was beautiful to hear so many stories about her experience with the restaurant and thoughts of retirement on the horizon (she wants someone to take over the business if you know anyone looking!) She takes such good care of her guests and it's clear to see how much she loves making these delectible dishes from scratchI can't stop thinking about how perfect the food was, how sweet Sue was, and how comforting the experience was, cannot wait to go back

I asked for cashew nut tofu. Owner said fine. Got the tofu, not the cashews. Husband asked for something, I don't remember what the name is, but he added duck. When he finally found the duck in his plate it was 95% skin about 1-1/2" long by 1/2" wide. No meat. Just the skin. That's it. And that cost $6 extra.Owner assaulted us with questions about our ethnicity, my parents' ethnicity, our ages, our marital status. She pursued. "You look Filipino" to my husband. I was so flabbergasted at this interrogation and to what lengths she went to elicit answers that I was dumbfounded. She! Would! NOT! Leave! The! Table!We paid by credit card. She did not give us a receipt. Waaaaaaay over-priced for the portion.I think the owner probably has dementia. We will not be back.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! We waited over an HOUR in a nearly empty restaurant. Service was SO AWFUL and nobody knew what was going on. Way too long for average Thai food. If you actually care about eating, avoid this restaurant.

Highly recommend coming here for some Thai. Food is very delicious fresh and home cooked! We got the chive dumplings, panang curry, & pad woon sen, all very good. The service is wonderful and personal, the owner serves you and is so nice and hospitable. I love the immersive interior design. I will definitely be back!! Cant wait to try other menu items!
