We ordered take out last night and it was such a disappointment. The place seemed under construction or updating because the restaurant was void of furniture. It was only outdoor seating. There didn't seem to be any servers around. I'm shocked at how quickly the food went downhill from 6 months ago. The naan wasn't fluffy and didn't have the "tandoor char." It seemed like it was reheated because it wasn't fluffy and was more harder / chewy, without the tandoor char. The chicken cilantro samosa was definitely different, the outer crust was not the same. It was more of a flat wrapper. My paneer dish only had 8 pieces of paneer and was mostly gravy. Definitely disappointed because it was barely a meal. My husband enjoyed his tandoori but commented on how something was different. After this meal, I don't think we will be back. The prices were high for what we got.

Cute storefront looks pretty new.Takeout that I haven't tried because it's in the fridge at my brothers... Chicken Tikka Masala, plain basmati rice, I have some with vegs that are un-touched as well ... but it looks delicious.Service was confused when I gave my last name but found my bag when I used my first. There were about 5 or 6 takeout bags to sort through, and a full restaurant of actual Indian people, SO I will guess that it's authentic and tasty. Will update if it isn't worthy of the optimistic 4 stars I'm giving...

Flambé India used to be my favorite Indian restaurant. I don't know what has happened this year, maybe new chef, but the food is not the same. The butter chicken is no longer creamy and delicious. It's more harsh with a stronger spice flavor. Even though we asked for medium rare, the lamb chops (both tandoori and red wine style) were so overcooked and burnt that we could not even eat them and threw them out.

Flambe India is a wonderful place to get tasty and delicious Indian food. In my two visits here (for carry-out only), I had good experience, and the food was good both the times. On my most recent visit, I ordered their EGGPLANT CHERRY TOMATO CURRY (cubes of eggplant and cherry tomato cooked in a rich sauce of golden fried onions and tomatoes), NATKHAT BHEER MASALA (chunks of lamb soaked in a mixture of yogurt, garlic, ginger, papaya, and spices, roasted in Tandoor served on top of a creamy tomato and onion sauce), a couple of garlic naans, one tandoori roti, and a side of sliced onions and jalapeños. Rice came with the entrées and did not need to be ordered separately. I placed my order over the phone and went to pick up the food by the time I was informed the order would be ready. Upon arriving for pick-up, I received good service. The restaurant looked clean and inviting. I liked its decor and there was plenty of seating inside and some outside. I had to wait to a few minutes as there were other patrons before me that were being attended. Upon having the food I ordered, I can firmly say that Flambe India's food is bold and flavorful. It was quite to my liking. The eggplant cherry tomato cherry was a unique dish that I had not come across before, and the roasted lamb chunks in a creamy tomato and onion sauce definitely exceeded my expectations as the lamb was cooked properly and it was mixed in well in the marinade it was prepared. The Naan, tandoori roti, and rice were good. I liked my overall experience in trying Flambe India. Their menu has a nice variety of dishes to choose from, and in my two visits, the food has been tasty and of good quality. The only issue I had is their menu's pricing. The dishes are more expensive in price than they should be. We are talking about Schaumburg and Chicago level pricing. Some items are easily two to three dollars more than they should be. However, I understand that good quality food comes with its share of costs. Anyway, I liked the food at this restaurant and would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes food Indian food.

Place was pricey. $60 for one entree, two apps & 3 orders of naan. Although still not mind blowing this was easily the best rendition of butter chicken I've had. The rice was a snoozer. Couldn't detect flavor at all including the garlic one. The samosas were ok. Be prepared to be wowed by how truly humongous the naan bread is.

Oh my goodness is all I had to say after eating the food here at Flambe India. My parents, my brother and myself all loved it. We went on a Sunday about an hour to hour in a half before it closed as we live a little further away and we were not disappointed. The staff is so friendly and go above and beyond to make you happy. Some of the best service I've honestly ever had. When it comes to the food, gosh, I don't know if there was one thing that was bad. At restaurants I go with the family, there's usually at least one person in the family that thinks something they got at a restaurant we went to was so so but here at Flambe we all loved everything.Had just the right amount of spice and flavor to everything. If you're one of those people that love pictures/videos and posting on social media. I'd recommend getting one of their Flambe Cognac items (my choice is the scallops), they get some cognac, light it on fire, and put it over the food you get, pretty cool!Overall, 5 all day!!!!Great stuff, I'll be back!!!!

Indian food is the one cuisine I haven't explored as much since I'm not the biggest fan of curry but I've always been interested in trying the different foods offered. I'm so glad I finally gave it a try and went to Flambe as my first experience. Starting with the decor, its so beautiful and inviting. The employees are welcoming and the tables are full of happy people.I went with the most popular items which the waiter recommended and was so blown away with all the flavors. The samosas were crunchy on the outside and filled with succulent veggies on the inside. The naan was everything. The chicken was some of the best chicken I've ever had in my life. The veggies, lentils, rice, all delightful. There is a dish for all types of diets here and each one is good. This is definitely a top go to for me when craving indian food and I highly recommend to all!

Some of the best Indian food in the northwest suburbs. I've never had any problems with the quality. This restaurant has been closed to indoor seating for several months. They don't seem to be in any rush to reopening the seating inside, creating uncertainty about whether you will be able to get a table. When I asked if there would be free refills for iced tea, like practically every other restaurant, the waiter scoffed at me! Rude reaction and incredibly cheap! Other than management's shortsighted decision to charge for refills, I've never had any issues with this restaurant.
