Best fries in the city! Actually everything was good, Chicken Alfredo, Salmon Salad, and Burger, but the French Fries? It's out of this world good! Wait staff also so welcoming and friendly... Definitely will be back more often This is my first visit, since I was passing it on the way somewhere... turned out to be such a blessing!

I visited here for dinner after hearing great things about the restaurant. It was busy too, even for a weekday, which usually means 1 of 2 things for a small restaurant, it's either the only restaurant in the area, or it's actually good. In this case, it's actually good.I had the hangar steak since I always love ordering it when I see it on a menu. Great steak and definitely a nice price point.I would say this place is good for taking family, friends and even clients. It wouldn't be my first choice for date night since it's kind of loud inside once the dining room starts filling up.Service is great though, which you would expect for a place like this.

HORRIBLE service for the second time.... We had reservations. Again several Nic e tables available - we are sat at the table right by the door. People behind us are sat at 4 person table without reservation. They are given immediate service. We are ignored for another 8 minutes.I was upset and asked for Mgr . He only asked my spouse if drink order was placed and ignored me. He walked away.... It was a special occasion and we decided it was better to leave.The Mgr never apologized. He did say he would improve our table. By that time I wasn't willing to spend a dime there.

There is none like Alex's Kitchen. Great menu selection, a variety of delicious dishes for everyone. Give them a try! Wonderful staff and great atmosphere!

I came here for a easy Saturday lunch and i realty like this place. Thy do have plenty nice selection of food in their menu. The service was very good. Our nice server told us it could get really busy at night time. So if you don't like big crowds, lunch is a better idea. I had ordered fried calamari, clam chowder which I love it. The chicken piccata was pretty good as well. Too bad I don't have room for the desert. Will have to come back to try the desert next time.

This is a great place for delicious meal without high prices. Alex's Kitchen is advertised as Italian And New American but the menu slants strongly towards American than Italian. Certainly, not a complaint because the food is great and the offerings should cover the eating desires of any group. I had the grilled Red Snapper which had a nice flaky texture and not dry. The server was very friendly and willing to help maneuver around dietary concerns. The restaurant is relatively small so peak dining hour may require some advance planning. Parking is not a problem since it's located in shop center and the parking lot is well lit. Alex's Kitchen is now on my "repeat list".

This small intimate restaurant never disappoints. Every time the food is fresh, proportionate, delicious, and served with a smile. They are also open for lunch. Delicious Italian fare, wonderful deserts, and the service is always top notch.

Nice cosy restaurant, great for families, and big or small groups. Server was attentive and friendly. I ordered the fried calamari, and garlic bread for appetizers. Chicken Alfredo, and grilled shrimp risotto for entrées. To end off the meal, I had the warm fruit tart with vanilla ice cream. The fried calamari had fried lemon, and fried green beans in the basket too. I like the combi as it would be boring to just have the calamari in it only. However the marinara sauce was a little watery. The garlic bread was really good. Garlicky, buttery, and herby. The Chicken Alfredo was good. Good proportion of chicken pieces to pasta. Chicken was cooked well. The grilled shrimp risotto was great. The shrimps were huge, fresh, and cooked perfectly. The vegetables in the dish were fresh. Risotto was perfect too. Absolutely love the dish but the plantain chips could be left out. The dessert wasn't what I expected. The warm fruit tart was actually fruit(s) jam in a crust. The crust was really good. The vanilla ice cream on top melted well on the warm crust. So delicious. I would come here again for the yummy food.

This was The Yates Ladies monthly last Friday dinner. I ordered the shrimp gumbo to start. It was barely warm but I didn't complain. The first time I got it, it was hot and good. I didn't want to complain because the other two ladies that ordered it was playing with it. I don't know if they finished it. I also ordered the bone in ribeye steak with twice backed potatoes and asparagus. It was really good and tasty. I had enough to take home to finish later. Very disappointed with the gumbo though. Our waiter, Sebastian was very attentive and professional. He kept coming back to see if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Eight stars.

I was hoping for more options on the menu, especially a breakfast one. But they did not have one. I got the chicken fried chicken and my assessment is it is a solid 3 out of 5. The mash potatoes are more like a 1.5. The gravy was a 2- just a plain Jane gravy. They offer no kids meal and the prices seem way over priced. My picky daughter enjoyed the chicken Parmesan and my other daughter said the grilled chicken sandwich was great- she ate it before I could get a picture. The fried chicken sandwich was ok according to my son, but all he really ate were the fries so I'm not sure if it was really kid friendly. Service was ok- maybe a bit slow, but they were nice. I would eat here again, but definitely would try something else.
