"Bagels were fire. Service was great. The line went fast and my boyfriend loved their coffee. Not to mention they have fresh squeezed orange juice."
"We created our own pizza, half with sausage, mushroom, and onion on pesto sauce, the other half with sausage, mushroom, pepperoni, and jalapeno with regular pizza sauce. Service was standard and sufficient, and it took about 15-20 minutes for our takeout order to be ready, near closing time this past Thursday. The pizza was sooooo yummy, made with quality ingredients. Savory meats, the jalapenos adding a nice spice, and a really delicious pesto sauce, better than what most other pizzerias offer. The crust here is also quite tasty, especially cuz the sauce and generous toppings go all the way to the edges with a nice crunch. Note, if you get ranch on the side, it will be hidden valley brand, but at least they don't charge extra for this."

"Believe the hype!!!EVERYTHING here is absolutely delicious!!! Came to Santo after hearing tons of amazing reviews about their poke and daifuku mochi-I've now been here in several occasions but never get there early enough to try the mochi...But the poke is AMAZING!!! We usually get half shoyu and half spicy. It's so, so good! So fresh and the flavor is always perfect. Finally tried the garlic shrimp plate & ask I can say is WOW!!! Parking can be tough during lunch time- they have a lot but there are always so many people that spaces fill up quickly but be patient- it's worth it!!!"
"Came here because I was craving a bagel and it was the closest bagel spot from where I was and I am so happy I found this place! The service was quick and great. I got a veggie bagel with humus on a jalapeño and cheese bagel and it was so fresh! They also had so many bagel options. The place itself has a few tables and chairs you can sit in. I would come back again."
"I had recently ordered parippu vada and Pazham pori. I was given ulli vada and pazham pori and they were kind to follow up with a call via doordash. The pick up was smooth and the food tasted excellent. Their pazham pori was spot on and chai is a must try. Would definitely recommend this. Looking to taste their other specialities on menu."
"Y-Linh Sandwiches opened where Golden Bakery once was. Order to go only with cashier, not kiosk. No seating inside. Able to order promptly as it wasn't busy 11ish. Minimal decor. Offerings: banh mi, Vietnamese healthy drinks, snacks in cooler.Eats: Ba Chi (pork belly) banh mi (8)-option of cutting banh mi in 1/2, separating veggies outside of banh mi. -grilled pork belly slices tastes similar to charsiu.-limited veggie's: cilantro, jalepenos, cucumbers, daikon strips with slight smear of pate? Mayo?*nice change from usual combo, meatballs...Drink: Sam Bo Luong/Mu Trom (6)-heard it pronounced "mo gai", recommended by cashier to another customer. A Viet health drink.-minimal sugar, pandan jelly, basil chia seeds, jujube, ginseng extract?...*healthier than boba drinks, Viet mix drinks..4.5 stars love the personalized service, traditional Viet eats with new protein options for banh mi."
"My family and I have been dining here for years, even when it relocated to current location.Service is excellent with an extensive menu of breakfast, lunch, dinner entrees!! Took us awhile to figure out!! Ordered the Filipino Tocino , chili con carne omelet, Truck stop special,Joe's special with an appetizer of Sigsig....! All with a generous portion of hash browns w grilled onions -a "must have" here!Just a typical "hole in the wall" (near Ross and Trader Joe's) but serving up delicious Comfort foods with a Filipino flare!!"
"What a great place, they have been open about a year now "according to the menu"As you look at the place from the outside.... Honestly it doesn't look like much but once you go through the front door your perception will instantly change. The interior is fantastic, floors and tables are clean, interior decor is wonderful, there is a red couch you can sit on underneath Neon Signs for a photo op, they have booths and tables, the house only seats 48 but honestly it looks way bigger to me. "Great floor plan " This place serves American traditional breakfast as well as an array of lunch items. I ordered their chicken fried steak & gravy which comes with 2 eggs. "Cooked how you like them" their home fries "which comes with red peppers, onions and seasoning" or hash browns, and your choice of buttered toast or muffins. I opted for the home fries, over easy eggs, and extra gravy.. The eggs were cooked to perfection, the chicken fried steak I felt was seasoned perfectly and was quite delicious. The big surprise was the gravy, "I ordered extra" I poured it over my home fries. Man did the gravy pair perfectly with the whole fries, soooo good. Pops ordered the Gilroy scrambled. "He ate everything, I couldn't believe my eyes!!" He kept saying... this place is good. :-)The service was good as well, overall a great place to come and check out.Last notes: they have an espresso bar and they also serve beers and wine."
"Been looking for a banh mi shop in Campbell area and stumbled upon Yummee! I saw the sign and figured why not give this place a try! I got sandwich #1 with the cold cut and pate! The restaurant name is very well deserved because yummy was the first thing I thought when I bit into the sandwich. Soft bread center, but still a toasted on the outside, fresh bread. Delicious pickled vegetables, and the meats are so fresh and tasty. Super fast and great customer service too. There are a couple of small tables inside and a couple outside (great for the upcoming season, especially since it's starting to warm up). I also wanted to commend how kind the staff were because the owner's husband called her and told her to tell me I had a flat tire, I had no idea. She was really kind to let me know and then I was able to get a tow truck. She let me stay inside and sit while I wait since it was chilly. Super grateful for the kindness that was shown and I can't wait to try their bo kho and grab a couple more banh mis to go next time :)"
"My go to spot for Vietnamese sandwich! I usually get the "dac biet" special sandwich that has the Vietnamese cold cuts. Adding garlic bread is also a nice add on. The bread is warm, soft, and has a good crispy outer layer. The sandwich is always filled with meat with a good amount of butter and pate. They are usually busy but you order in the store and pick up outside from the small window they have. The have a buy 4 get 1 free large sandwiches which is perfect for friends and family."
"Phenomenal pizza. Serves pizza by the slice with a thin, stiff crust. Can add as many topics as you'd like, which affect the price. I cannot forgive the business for having an offensive parking situation. All surrounding businesses have parking, at least or two spaces, but this one has none and there are always cars parked in the only available street parking in front of the entrance. Most of those cars are for adjacent businesses which already have their own private parking on the side as and back of their business, which are unused.I had complained to the staff and it was mentioned that there are no special exceptions for customer parking. There is parking in the back which has many available spaces, and the owner parks their corvette there. It was stated that the parking was only for employees. Also, the manager wasn't on duty and the staff didn't respond empathetically to the complaint and was dismissive. Will not return. It is unfortunate to be put in this situation by the parking availability, as I'm not a pizza person and this pizza was better than average."
"Went there for lunch today with the family - it was delightful! The Italian sodas were a hit and so were the sandwiches and soup. We wished we tried it earlier. It's now going to be in our regular lunch rotations. We ate on the cute patio in the back."

This one is a huge upgrade from the one in downtown San Jose. I got a tuna salad on pesto cheese bagel and it was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was welcoming for people to talk and hang out while eating bagels. The service was fast. Food was really good. $10 for my bagel.

The pizza here is top notch. I ordered the All-American with jalapeños, pineapple, and extra sauce. It was a busy night and my takeout order was ready in 20 mins just as promised. I love the service. Everyone was friendly and the staff acknowledged me. I love that in a business. Everything about the pizza was delicious. The sauce was perfect with chunks of tomato. I could not get enough of it. I hope there are some coupons out there. I would definitely go here again!

BEST poke in the Bay Area (or at least in South Bay). Prove me wrong. I usually order a medium for the shoyu ahi and spicy ahi. To avoid long lines, just order online.I've tried Aloha Fresh multiple times due to many people saying it's super close to Hawaiian poke, but I found the poke there a little bland compared to Santo Market's. Major disclaimer: I'm not trying to drag a business to bring one up.I just thought that was an important point to bring up since it's all subjective to taste. Overall, cannot go wrong with Santo.

Ordered a pickup for vegetable roll, pazham pori & kerala chicken fry. The ordering process & pickup was smooth, but the food disappointed us. The two vegetable roll came in different size. It tasted ok but the filling was way less compared to the outer covering. The pazham pori was tasty and reminded me of homemade ones rather than the ones we get in shops. I also felt that it needed to be cooked a bit more. Kerala chicken fry was the biggest disappointment as it tasted bland and was overcooked.

From top to bottom an amazing sandwich. The bread was crispy yet gentle on the gums unlike some other places. Nice thick slices of proteins and a very flavorful pork cake. Pate was very well balanced. Veggies were fresh and crispy after my long ride back home to the Eastbay. Definitely worth the trip next time I crave a Banh Mi

**changing my review since we were surprised to find they decided to send the salads after all. Saddened this isn't always allowed as we were told though. Just paid over $60 for two omelets with hashbrowns and toast. My partner and I don't eat heavy carbs anymore as she recently found out she's diabetic and was told she could slip into a comma if she doesn't change her diet. I called in to ask the toasts and hashbrowns be removed so they wouldn't need to go in the trash. I was offered a side salad in their place and instructed to always call to have this adjustment made. Today when calling I was informed my adjustment was not possible and asked instead what type of toast I wanted after already explaining I don't eat bread. To offer side salad in place of a large portion of hashbrowns seems more than fair, but to tell me I can no longer do that after being instructed to call and already placing my order is bad business. I will no longer order from this flip flopping establishment.

"Super tasty, crisp and juicy chicken 5 starPrice 4 star Service was prompt and friendly Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a tasty chicken meal."
"All I ever crave is a Turkey sandwich and now we have an amazing halal deli shop! Alhamdullilah! The menu is actually pretty extensive. They have gyros , falafel , paninis. I think I even saw orange chicken! But you can't go wrong with a sandwich! The Vietnamese coffee was also delicious! I'll be coming here again inshAllah! Definitely recommend"
"Brb, drooling!!! This really satisfied my sandwich craving! The soprano was delicious; meat super flavorful, saucy and Dutch crunch bread was amazing! I love when the Dutch crunch has a good crunch without scraping the top of your mouth off. Delicious and will def be back!"
"I stopped by for *cheap gas next door and stumbled into this unassuming place! Glad I did bc they had a banh mi that I never had before...Bo la lot (grilled beef in betel leaf) in a sandwich form. Yass! Sandwich had all the usual stuff, but the star was the meat. Right texture, hot, and flavorful. Glad I stopped by and will be back!"
"I can't believe I'm saying this but....Cay banh mi might just have beat Duc Huong's!My husband and I stumbled upon Cay cafe while hanging out in Fremont. From their Yelp they had fairly new ratings and so we decided to try it. And let me tell you.....it's was fabulous! Their bread was freshly baked and so perfect. It had a crispy crust and soft filling. We ordered the combination cold cut and the grilled pork sandwich. I just can't believe how different their bread, pate and meats tasted verse other Vietnamese sanwhich shops. It was supreme! Their pate/butter/cold cuts/bread was better than duc huong and it tasted more fresh. Even their pickled veggies which I don't like (I enjoyed here)! We've had our fair share of banh mi's at many local spots and other states. But I'm so glad we found Cay Cafe! It's a 10/10 for us!"
"Palm City is an unexpectedly trendy wine bar located in the outer fringes of the Sunset district. In addition to their wide selection of wines, they also offer a series of gourmet Philly-style hoagie sandwiches, built on long rolls with a crunchy, nutty sesame seed exterior and dry, fluffy interior. Though many people know Philly for its cheesesteak, another iconic sandwich is the Roast Pork, and Palm City's version was made with a generous portion of thinly-shaved herb-garlic pork, broccoli rabe, and provolone cheese. The combination of the meaty, juicy pork, the bitter, earthy broccoli rabe, and the unctuous provolone all came together on the nutty, crunchy roll! We also got the creative Roasted Cauliflower hoagie, which seemed to be inspired by the Asian flavors of a banh mi. The hoagie included lightly-spiced roasted cauliflower florets, pickled carrots, avocado, fried shallots, cilantro, hot honey, and a deliciously creamy lemongrass ginger sauce. The combination of flavors was refreshing, earthy, and herbaceous all at the same time, and this sandwich presented a lighter alternative to the heavier, meatier, and greasier roast pork."
"Couldn't find it on Google Maps, then I realized it's located inside of the MCA. The barista/cashier was very nice, and the cafe was nice and quiet. I was surrounded by people who had just finished prayer, and also some people from the local community grabbing a quick bite or drink. I saw some kids grabbing an ice cream cone too.I ate the chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. They also have your normal coffee items too. Every once in a while, there were children running back and forth yelling but that's the only thing I could think of to complain about. It is an open area cafe so you will see people doing their thing at the MCA, walking past. I enjoyed my time at Rumman Cafe. I felt very peaceful and comfortable and look forward to coming back again."
"Had a poor dining experience. We ordered online and our food wasn't ready until 25 minutes past the pickup time (original time was 42 min wait, total time of 67 minutes).I don't mind waiting but the #1 cardinal sin of food service is don't serve hot food cold. Four of five items was luke warm or cold. A restaurant of this caliber should have better food warming logistics."
"Matcha Milo Bingsu- BOMB! will be back for the short ribs and rice, and to try the Squid Milo BingsuService was attentive, sweet, and fast! Thanks Tcafé I found my new fav spot"
"Consistently cozy! I'd been to Big Basin Cafe a few times before, and loved the warm, homey atmosphere. On a Saturday afternoon, they were pretty busy, but we were able to order at the counter right away. I got a Blueberry Lavender Latte and Avocado Toast. The Blueberry Lavender Latte was incredible - great flavors, perfect for a rainy day. The Avocado Toast was very average, and came with a mountain of sprouts on top, so I ended up picking some off. It was a decent snack, but not particularly filling. Since we were still hungry, my roommate and I got a Mushroom Quiche and slice of Blueberry Pie to share. The Mushroom Quiche was pretty good (cheesy, nice texture), but the Blueberry Pie was easily the highlight. It wasn't overly sweetened, the blueberry filling was delicious, and it went great with whipped cream. They also had a massive selection of pies, so I would love to try more in the future. Would return!"
"I'll be back. This place makes great sandwich with lots of meat. And the pastry was so good I regret buying more. The lady with the blonde hair was very nice and has great welcoming service that's hard to find these days."
"I'm from Texas so I'm pretty picky about bbq. The brisket here is great. Nice smoke ring. Cooked low and slow for a long time the way it should be. Very juicy meat, even the leaner slices. Perfect smoke ring. Well seasoned. The people working there are all very nice too."
"Wow! The largest chicken sandwich I've ever seen. Cooked perfectly with coleslaw and mild spice....YUM! Parm fries too. Multiple napkins required. Great pricing for giant sandwich, fries and drink $15.We will be back."
"Good food . But service is slow. Clean friendly. Needs more options. Excellent location"
"I walked in because of their garlic noodles and left satisfied. The order took awhile, but it wasn't an issue. Will return for their noodles."
"Great service, great pricing, good food.I will have to say though as a disclaimer, it is giving off very heavy Vietnamese coffee shop vibes with the dresses on waitresses and the heavily skewed presence of dozens of asian uncles who are smoking(Kind of a pain since the patio is so close to the main doors that the smell gets in). While I'm personally unsure if that's intended or not, I am not reviewing for or against that.Prices are cheaper than most restaurant-styles in the Bay Area, with a majority of the items being under $20($14-18 range). Food is fairly authentic in flavor profiles, some mishaps here and there but nothing that I'd deduct for.Bo Ne/Sizzling Beef - 4/5 Came with two pretty big pieces which as everyone knows is nice as many places try to cheap out on this and give you like a couple small ones. Bread/baguette was the only minus here as the ends were either stale or overdone considering they were as hard as rock. Chicken Curry - Authentic tastes as mentioned, great nostalgic home cooking taste. As I only had a few bites, not going to give points about this.Default "Water" is some kind of brighter yellow/green tea, potentially chrysanthemum which was nice as a refreshing change of pace. Service was great, waitress filled our water pretty much spot on as we finished it and checked in with us.All in all, great spot to stop by for a cheap lunch with the only problem being location/small parking lot."
"Great food and service. Won ton pho is the best. Quiet atmosphere indoors with outdoor seating too."
"Howie's is a happy pizza place. Their pizzas are on a different level of flavor. I've had many pizzas from hole-in-wall joints, frozen, chain restaurants, homemade ones, to indie-artisanal creations. Howie's is one of those truly artisanal pizzas. The ingredients may be the same as any other place, but you'll notice a level up when it comes to their sauce. I think that's where the difference is, aside from the distinct flavor that comes from the meats that they use. Each bite is a hearty mouthful. The only way to really tell is by going there and ordering one. I always get "The Works" and it has become my happy food, if you get what I mean. Their salads are also quite good, fresh and savory; a perfect complement to the pies and pasta fare that they offer.Service is friendly and efficient. That keeps me coming back, aside from the food. When you come in, it's like being welcomed by old friends in the Cheers bar, (if you get the reference, you're old). My wife and I were even lucky enough one time to have our food prepared by the owner Chef Howie himself. The pastas are also very good, going from mild, familiar tastes, to bold, earthy flavors that make you understand what comfort food really means. Each bite gives you that satisfying deep breath of texture and umami goodness. If you haven't been here yet... well I'm just going say, come on over. This location is quite busy with many different establishments around. Walk around and see for yourself. Lots of parking around the buildings in this town center, lots to see and try around here. It's worth it!"
"I ate here today for lunch. I ordered a turkey sandwich that was heated. The menu here is simple but it wasn't an issue for me. The bread plus everything else in my turkey sandwich was delicious. If your in the area or even if your not, I highly recommend this business if your craving a freshly made sandwich. The owner here is also a professional and it's clear he cares about your satisfaction.Martin"
"The pizza was pretty good. The bread wasn't too thick and the toppings tasted fresh. The service was excellent. The woman server who took care of us did excellent job checking on my table multiple times for refills and if we needed anything else. The inside of the place is clean and very new looking."
"As far as subways go, it's better than most, but not spectacular. The staff is always friendly, quick and make good sandwiches. Try to come between classes to grab a quick bite to eat"
"Came by to order my kid a pretty basic turkey and cheddar and it was delicious ! The bread was so soft and toasted at the same time. Everything super fresh. The flavor was there the quality is there - even for your basic sandwhich. I also had a cup of their chili and it didnt disaapoint - next time I'll try their frito lay dog ! I'll be back -"
"OK. THIS IS THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN SOUTH CITY. HANA'S HAS: 1.THE BEST ASADA STREET TACOS 2. THE BEST LASAGNA IN THE PENINSULA (I AM NOT EVEN KIDDING) 3. THE BEST CHOW MEIN ON WEDNESDAYS and the list goes on. Offering Mexican sodas and other goodies, this spot is AMAZING! If you try the asada tacos and feel that there is a better place in south city I will pay for your meal. If you try the LASAGNA and you tell me that you have had a better one in the peninsula I will be surprised. On Wednesdays, they do a delicious CHOW MEIN that I like to mix with their fresh veggies. SO DELICIOUS AND GOOD FOR YA! The key here is that they do everything fresh and never frozen. ;-)"
