Rox Cafe

Not sure how my review disappeared but my photos remained (but are now credited 'by owner'). Felt it necessary to repeat my previous review. A small spot on ridge ave to grab a bite. Pros are friendly service and decent prices. Cons are the food is eh and timing could be improved. I had the pancakes with bananas (see the photo, again labeled as from business owner but actually mine) - portions could use some work. We also got an omelette (see photo from business owner). It was not really cooked correctly but they did try.Make your own decision after checking them out.

Went here because it was a hot day and it was close to my apartment. The food is okay; the tenders were cooked. The guy definitely overcharged me-it was $10 online but he charged me almost $20 and I didn't even get five full chicken tenders. I would go here only if you're local and everything else is closed.

The prices on the menus are wrong and they were out of a lot of things. What we expected to be a cheap lunch ended up being really expensive. Owner showed no remorse or sympathy. Do not recommend.

This den of thieves was closed for the longest time, and I count down the days till their open concept doors shut for good. I asked for a hot coffee, got a half a cup of espresso and a cup of ice dumped into it. This worlds smallest cup of lukewarm caffeine costs $5, but thats before the 4% service charge. They offer breakfast too, but unless you prefer the expensive turkey version of all your favortie breakfast pig meats like a psychopath you will be disappointed and broke. Honestly it would warm my heart to drive past here and see it closed again, I at least know that I have paid my final visit.

I was very hesitant to go here after reading so many poor reviews, but we were nearby and hungry! The owner was as nice as could be, the falafel wrap was one of the best I've had, and we were charged exactly what was noted on the menu. I would definitely go back.

A fun little spot - amazing (like, so good) cabbage Mashi, the water always has fresh mint, and Arafha is great for chatting with. We just get a bunch of Mashi and drip coffee then sit in this beautiful spot and hang out. They also have jazz nights every now and again that are delightful!

The Rox Cafe is most definitely OPEN. We had dinner there this evening, and also try the smoothies. I had the strawberry, banana, and grape with honey- so good.
