"This is a no-nonsense, no-frills cafe. I placed my order on a touch screen and sat down. I ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Both of which were good. They weren't knock-me-over great, but they hit the spot. It was a relaxing way to kill some time in the morning and get a more substantial breakfast than the "bacon, egg, and cheese on white toast" that so many places offer."
"Took my wife here for breakfast on our trip home. She declared the food to be "straight fire" "bussin'" "phat and stupid and pop n fresh!" I think she was speaking in tongues and momentarily possessed, but also assumed this was a generally positive review. We will definitely be back when out this way again."

"Food was great! I love French toast so I ordered the fresh fruit French toast with a side of eggs and Turkey bacon (since they don't have Turkey sausage). Food came relatively quick considering they were fairly busy and tasted great. The food would have been great with a mimosa but they don't carry alcohol. Our server was overall friendly. Parking on a Saturday during prime hours can be a pain but I was able to get the last spot in the lot across the street. My friend got the cinnamon pancakes and really enjoyed them as well."
"ICreate serves authentic, fresh, healthy, vegan Syrian food. And I couldn't be happier with it. ICreate is couple blocks away from me and I go there once in a while for a quick bite. Such a nice atmosphere, really nice owner and I could sit there for hours. I would recommend this place to anyone who appreciates ethnic, homemade vegan food."
"Two Eagles can be found in a quieter section of Point Breeze, not found along any major roadways. So, make it a point to go over there - it's worth every second.I like the aesthetic of the location: it's small, quiet, but still has a decent amount of seating for the space it occupies. It's decorated nicely, and I enjoy staring at everything on the walls. I stopped in, ordered some avocado toast and a latte and some other small items, and was very pleased with my total cost at the end. I feel like I've made similar orders at cafes only to pay much more for what I paid for here.I've been there a few times now, and I've been greeted by a different person each time, and they're all incredibly warm and friendly. This also makes Two Eagles that much more appealing.Highly recommend."
"Did I slide past Frieda on the way to meet friends to grab one of those chai lattes they make so well? I sure did.Did I double back later on and grab a brisket sandwich to go?I sure did. Did they pack my sandwich so neat, that I didn't spill a single drop while walking and eating? They sure did. Will I be back sooner than later to vibe out with another latte?I sure will. :-)"
"Our server was friendly and efficient and checked on us just the right amount. The restaurant is a cozy converted house which is tastefully decorated. The bathroom is adorable. I had the Greek omelette and while very tasty was a bit runny for my liking. I upgraded to a small side salad rather than toast. It was fresh and delicious. I would definitely go back and if I ordered another omelette, I would just request it be cooked a little bit more. Definitely worth a visit!!"
"Bower Cafe on Walnut is a lovely addition to the neighborhood. Coffee, friendly service, and early hours? I'm down.Sit window-side and people watch, or relax in their main dining area. High ceilings, natural lighting, and artistic touches add up to a welcoming space. Bring a date, bring friends, or talk business in a corner. There's room for a light crowd, so don't be shy.Besides coffee, you can find cold drinks in the fridge - think sparkling water, draft lattes, etc. Hungry? They've got pastries and sandwiches made-to-order.Find Bower Cafe at 1213 Walnut. Credit accepted, including contactless.FYI they're currently soft opening so review details may be inaccurate."
"The food looks better than how it tastes. Practically everything purchased was a letdown."
"YUM! Stumbled into the Tasty Toast and I am so glad that I did. I got the Rainbow Mermaid which was a peach, strawberry mango juice (I think I'm missing another ingredient) but it was so delicious! It was sweet, refreshing and they put banana and strawberries slices in it! So good. Also, not pictured... my sandwich that I devoured. So, I got the bacon melt and it was also amazing. Eggs, bacon, creamy melted cheese. You can't go wrong. The service wad friendly, but just a little on the slower side (they had a ton of online orders). Would highly recommend this spot, just order ahead!"
"Rivals Bros Coffee is a cute little coffee shop in South Philly that sits off of Passyunk Ave. I came here because I was told by a friend of mine that they had the best coffee in Philly, and after my experience, I can see that it was no lie. Rival Bros has some of the best coffee I've drunk in a while. They have cute decor with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well as fast and friendly service. After looking over the menu I decided to order an iced mocha and a vanilla brioche donut. Whew, Chile! After drinking my iced Mocha, I can see why Rival Bros logos are a boxing ring and two men appearing as if they're about to fight. Their coffee is so strong it feels like someone punched you in the face every time you take a sip ... which is perfect for a 9th-grade teacher who has been run ragged because they've had to teach through a pandemic since March of 2020! Even after asking for extra chocolate in my Mocha, it was still some of the strongest coffee I've ever had, and I loved every bit of it. I'd like to add that my Mocha went perfectly with my vanilla brioche donut. All in all, I would like to say that Rival Bros Coffee will get you RIGHT if you have a long day ahead of you, and like my friend said, it is the best coffee in the Southside of Philly!"
"Me and my boyfriend went here based on a recommendation from his sister and brother in law. We've been trying to be more adventurous with our food choices so we decided to give it a try! We were welcomed in right away and as confused as we probably looked they were so very kind to us and we felt comfortable right away. We started off with two empanadas to share-- one chicken and one beef. Absolutely delicious! I can't remember what the sauce is they served with them but it was sooo flavorful. We both got arepas for our meals-- my boyfriend got arepas paisa and I got arepas with chicken and beef. My boyfriend said he loved all the flavors in his and I really enjoyed mine as well! I absolutely love that they gave us extra sauce on the table so we never had to worry about having a bite without sauces. Oh! And that delicious sauce they served with the empanadas they gave with the arepas too. I was ecstatic to say the least I also got a cappuccino which was really good and my boyfriend tried the Colombian coffee which may have become his new favorite coffee. The cafe itself is decorated from the walls to the ceiling. So colorful and a lot to look at and enjoy while you're there. They also have a selection of Colombian groceries in the back. I really look forward to returning for more fresh and delicious Colombian food!"

I stumbled upon this spot while on a walk looking for a quick coffee, and now I look forward to my walks just to have it! At first, I tried to keep this gem to myself, but it's too good not to share. On my first visit, I ordered the hamwich, a hash brown, and a smoothie. While the smoothie wasn't my favorite, the hamwich was so incredible that I had to come back and take one home. The ham was thick and juicy, and the cheese was perfectly gooey. But the real star for me is the horchata latte--I couldn't stop raving about it to my friends! It's such a unique and delicious menu item. I also tried the breakfast platter, which was super convenient for my healthy eating goals, and the ingredients tasted so fresh. If you go, make sure you get the hamwich and the horchata latte. You won't regret it!

Our go-to place on the weekends. So much better than First Watch. Good is great and there are a lot of gluten-free options including pancakes and waffles. The omelets are great. One of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Coffee could be improved but we overlook that given how great the food is.

From the first time I ate at a Nudy's in West Chester, I was a big fan. I am pumped that they decided to open a location in my stomping grounds in Conshohocken.Nudy's is THE SPOT for a big menu with great food and unique options. One of my favorite parts of dining here is the option to get just one "side" pancake if you want to try one but don't want it to be your entire meal. I got the Tuscan Omelet (prosciutto and sharp provolone with veggies) with a side of fruit (fresh, ripe and flavorful, even all the melon which could be hit or miss). I also got a single cinnamon roll and apple/cinnamon pancakes. Both were fluffy, delicious, and so tasty that I couldn't stop eating it even after I was disgustingly full. Finally, the side of fried scrapple was perfect in taste and texture. Our service was wonderful. As for the reviews beating up on it, remember: restaurants are struggling right now with staffing. Go out to eat, don't be in a rush, and be patient. This is the way it's going to be for awhile. If you can't accept that, don't go out to eat and take it into account before you berate restaurants about it.

Wow! I was so pleasantly surprised by this little diamond in the rough! I am transitioning to vegan food and trying new places...this has by far been the most delicious and impressive vegan cafe I've visited. A wonderful selection of food and very warm service..you can tell they truly make their food with love. I tried the "vegan cheesteak" (basically black beans with mushrooms onions and peppers..with vegan cheese.) AMAZING!!!! Absolutely delicious. My only issue is...I don't live closer! I was just visiting Pottstown for the day. But I may make the trip from Philly every one in awhile just to come here. I definitely recommend this place, 2 thumbs up!!

This is a wonderful treat for Point Breeze, Albanian at heart, which is quite unique, but with a ton of other American favorites like cheese steaks and breakfast sandwiches. The food here is fresh and consistently good. Today I got the chicken breast club, which was huge and delicious, and the fries reminded me of Belgian frites - they were still crisp and hot after I brought them home. The family that owns this restaurant are super friendly and the service is always above par. They treat us like friends every time we go in. The front dining area is super cozy and comfortable, and there is an expanded dining area in the back. I always look forward to coming here!

The interior is glowing white - separated into different sections. The food area is the larger section where they don't allow laptops. Incredible service, like it was amazing - I'm v impressed. Small water glasses that require frequent service.Almost croissant was p good. White egg omelet was decent - I'll try something else next time!

I ended up in Malvern and was very happy to see Julie Anne's Place's 4.7 google maps rating. I haven't had the best luck in Malvern but things may be starting to change. 1st, $5.43 for a scrapple, egg and cheese on toast. You know I love that. And, that is after an 18 cent non cash surcharge. Very cheesy. Everyone was very happy. Cool bathroom. Video of bathroom in full video. Now if I can get Dave Bramwell to return my calls life would be good.

Great earlier hours as many places closer to Broad don't open till 11 AM. Refreshing healthy and flavorful smoothie for a super hot day. The kitchen and staff area is particularly small and no real privacy. I presume this place has a bathroom if I needed it but I didn't see one.Staff are friendly:Pastries are reasonably delicious with different flavors to choose from.

"First time trying this neighborhood joint. It was fantastic. Got the blt and burger. Big juicy burger. One of the bests my boy has had in a while he said. Check them out!"
"Yooooooo! The dessert at this place are the real deal. It was my birthday so we made a special trip to A La Mousse and we're not disappointed. First-I appreciate they were open late so we got to experience this treat. The options were plentiful, involved true artistry, and had such a flavor variety. I chose the flourless chocolate plus mousse cake slice and it was so rich and decadent. My daughter chose the bear mousse and the hardest part was eating such a cute confection. You can't go wrong visiting this amazing place-oh and get a cappuccino-it was the perfect pairing."
"This Stephen Starr pop-up restaurant opened recently (6/21/2022) in front of the Comcast center, directly across from where my wife works. She said it looked like an oasis--it's surrounded by beautiful trees and plants--and after seeing all the classic French favorites on the menu, I couldn't wait to check it out. Normally it can be difficult to get a reservation, but going on the Friday night of the July 4th holiday weekend certainly solved that problem.Note: this restaurant is only open weekdays!Given the plethora of Parisian plates (some very similar to what Parc offers), I had a hard time deciding what to order first, so I started off with East Coast Oysters on the Half Shell, and have to say they're the best I've ever had! The cocktail sauce had shreds of incredibly fresh horseradish sprinkled on top, a detail that really brought it to the next level. My wife had the Shrimp Cocktail, which looked amazing. I didn't sample it but she said it was fabulous.I followed with a Niçoise salad, a longtime favorite of mine: I still remember my first ever in its birthplace of Nice, France. So I had high expectations and I have to say that this one really hit all the marks. It's quite large so perhaps plan to share it. Alas, my wife doesn't eat anchovies, but let it be said that the anchovies in this salad are the ultra high quality ones you'd actually get in France, with a delicate flavor and none of the fishy saltiness of the normal variety. For dessert, our server told us about three different options: 1) Pair of éclairs (chocolate and vanilla); 2) Creme Caramel; or 3) Strawberries with Chantilly creme. My wife ordered the Creme Caramel and positively devoured it, but that was OK since I was fully enamored with my very ample portion of strawberries on bed of ultra-light whipped creme. We definitely will be going back to try their other offerings . Kudos also to the very attentive, friendly and personable staff."
"Went there for the first time and had brunch. Good experience and great service. Had a good chai tea latte as well. The building was very cute with the exposed brick and they had merchandise to sell. Would def recommend."
"Great selection of Armenian and Mediterranean dishes and select grocery staples in a tastefully decorated and modern store. I appreciate the create-your-own bowl options, where you can explore tasty combinations to your pleasure. Staff are family and community oriented. The baba ganoush is especially delicious. Looking forward to a return visit."
"Romantic and delightful dining. Family run restaurant. Nutritious and colorful dishes. Well thought out & very, very special .Service and hospitality. I loved my dinner here. I really felt like I was in their care. Very very delightful. I wanna return soon."
"I've been wanting to go here for many years, so finally took the opportunity to do so last weekend for brunch with a friend. Because people are typically away at the shore for summer weekends, it was easy for us to book a quick reservation that morning. The decor is cute, modern and clean with bright lighting throughout the space. Once I came in, I was immediately checked in and seated. All of the staff were very friendly and polite. Our waiter (think his name was Logan) was also super personable, gave good energy when interacting with us and had a good balance of attentiveness & letting us enjoy our food/time. We decided to order a few dishes to split and sample. Salmon Cake Eggs Benedict was unfortunately a let down for me - the salmon Cake seemed over cooked and tasted a bit plain/not seasoned. The Brioche French Toast with the peach bourbon cheesecake topping was amazing! That topping really added a good touch to the already well made french toast slices. And the side Biscuit and Gravy was shockingly good. We also had Rum Punch as our cocktail drink which was made very well.Overall, we had a good dining experience. There are a few other brunch items I want to try out, so definitely hope to come back again soon."
"I'm so excited I found the Juice Pod! I have worked in Exton for over 7 years and have struggled to find somewhere with healthy, fast breakfast options nearby. There are a ton of smoothie and smoothie bowl options. I have tried 2 different green smoothies so far and they were both delicious! It's a little expensive, but to find a healthy, good quality smoothie to me is worth it! I tried a coffee last time I was there as well, and I didn't love it. I prefer light to medium roast flavorful coffee, and this was definitely a dark roast. It wasn't bad, just not for me. I did appreciate that they had oat milk and could make me a cafe au lait. They also have great sounding salads, paninis and some other lunch options. Definitely going to give those a try in the future! I think there location is a little hard to find, I found it because I was searching for nearby coffee on apple maps and it popped up. I hope the word gets spread about their location and I think they could benefit from marketing to nearby businesses."
"My son wanted a vegan cookie cake this year for his birthday instead of the traditional cake . His girlfriend doesn't handle dairy well and he wanted everyone to enjoy his sweet treat .After searching several websites this place definitely caught my attention so I went there and put my order in , the place is very clean and has a unique style .I must say the cookie cake was delicious I would definitely order it again !"
"Staff? Lovely. Food? Godly. The birria tacos were so juicy I almost shed a tear - drench it with sauce and dunk it in the soup. The chicken quesadilla were surprisingly light yet full of flavor. I think this may be my new favorite Mexican in Philly. Till next time, mi amor, Cafe Ynez."
"K'Far has always been a go to of mine when introducing friends to places in Philly. K'Far is a very approachable cafe serving up Israeli bites and pastries. Having been founded by Michael Solomonov, you know what to expect, in your face flavors but done in an elegant fashion. The cafe itself is quite appealing with designs inspired by the Middle East. The venue has a sense of brightness and feels very refreshing. The outdoor patio is also a great addition, especially it being right in center city, near Rittenhouse. When you walk in, I have always been greeted by a welcoming staff. Do expect to wait 10-20 minutes for a table, especially during peak hours. While you wait, I suggest you take a look at their pastries on the side to get an idea of what to order. For the food, I really liked the potato in the top section of the menu. For pastries, you really can't go wrong with any of them. They all are on the sweeter side so be sure to pace yourself. I liked the Pistachio Sticky Bun. I also recommend grabbing a bagel and a toast. It's a nice way to balance out the heavy flavors and sweetness. Again, can't go wrong with any of these. I always gravitate towards avocado. I've actually never tried their bowls so unfortunately no comment on these. This is a date spot for me, if you can grab a seat and not the high table. It gets a bit crowded and loud at the high table. I would recommend grabbing one item from each section to share and enjoy the vibes!"
"This is absolutely one of the best breakfast spots around! The staff is nice enough and they have outdoor dining on those nice days you feel like some fresh air with your food. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is a favorite of mine. They have a lot of healthy options and the pricing is reasonable. I love coming here."
"Parking is horrible but once you find a spot you're good. Service was on point. Server was friendly, attentive and informative about the menu. Drinks were good and very prett"
"The Caribou Café has always been a favorite place to stop for a bite in the city. The restaurant is cozy and pretty, the food is always exquisitely delicious, and the service is routinely as pleasant as one could possibly hope. Last night, I was pleased to find that, although there are new owners, everything was just as wonderful as I have always found it to be. Our experience was completely delightful. 3/7/24"
"Nice coffee shop with excellent coffee. I wish they had more offerings. Almost no cookies or anything else. I was a bit disappointed I wanted something besides my ice coffee. The cold brew was as good as it gets but it was almost $4 for a pretty small cup. The service was very good and the space is very pretty."
"I hadn't been to this deli in quite some time, but I wanted some beer for the game last weekend so decided to swing by for a six pack. This place is weird. It appears to be owned or run by a bunch of young guys. One guy, not sure if he was part of the crew or what, was passed out at a table. There are definitely better places to grab a sandwich or six pack in the area, and I probably won't be back."
"Had an awesome breakfast, friendly staff, French toast - the crunchy kind was excellent and so was everything else! Will be sure to return, so nice there is a great breakfast place around- my compliments to the whole staff & owner!!"
"Sunday morning brunch time- Place is packed!!! I ordered cold brew coffee and my partner ordered OJ.We ordered huevos rancheros and key west omelette. Tasted like sour cream that went bad. I hope it wasn't. I'm just not sour cream person. It was different than I remembered. Visual was good and the server was attentive Food could be better though"
"Very clean. They are taking all cleaning and safety precautions. All staff was very nice and attentive, nice to see them supporting their local community. They have a large menu. Food was done quickly and was very delicious. Would definitely recommend and come again. Maybe even later tonight for the Nelsons ice cream!"
"Santangelo's Cafe is a down to earth example of creative adaptive reuse of old urban factories, this one in Norristown, PA. It is a tiny place with entry around the back of the large red brick structure, requiring attention to signs on the street directing where it is hidden. Plenty of parking back there. This family run breakfast, brunch & lunch joint has been going for 15 years, and the siblings certainly know how to work together. They are friendly and justly proud of what they do in the community. I sat at the six stool counter overlooking the small kitchen. Although a curtain separates customer view from flying spatula, the sounds of breakfast making are easily heard and entertaining. Coffee was decent, and my ask for milk over Mini Moos, graciously met. Unfortunately, it took too long to get a refill, as the curtain blocked the staff view of customers, and the floor person was obliviously attached to her phone. Yet, the short stack french toast was very good. Nice egg, vanilla and cinnamon mix for dipping, and good caramelization. Overall, Santangelo's is a strong find on the post industrial streets of Norristown. A little polish on customer service would elevate this earnest cafe to a higher level to match the quality of its menu."
"Such a warm and charming spot! The vibrant colors, great play list and hospitality were way on point. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich, my friend the croissant and I drank a delicious cup of coffee. We lingered over our food and were greeted warmly when one of the owners came in. My sandwich was good, egg over easy and nice roll. I will definitely be back. I am eager to try the Cubano and the Cuban cheesesteak. Go! It's wonderful!"
"I ordered a Croissant and an espresso and enjoyed them thoroughly. Very nice ambiance and friendly service. When I have more time I plan to return and order something more substantial. I love the name of the cafe! I speak Spanish and Italian so it cheered me up."
"Apple Walnut Cafe is as homegrown as it gets especially walking in and seeing all the patrons and even some of the staff wearing their Eagle's gear! It was a packed house but it still only took 10 minutes to be seated. We were greeted with small sample bites of their apple walnut bread which was amazing. I really wanted to order pancakes but based on the size I saw at someone else's table. I opted to get a Philly steak omelette with home fries. The eggs were soft and the home fries had that slight crisp on them, just the way I like them. I really enjoyed the energy in the room and how it felt like everyone knew each other. I definitely will be back for the pancakes."
