"We were looking for a place that had cheese steaks and a bar on a Thursday evening. The cheese steak ended up being super good! I was was surprised! My husband got a great deal on drinks - he ordered the City Wide special which was a PBR and a shot of whiskey for just $6."
"An Italian-Mediterranean restaurant with a brightly lit space. The Arpeggio is a commonly visited restaurant by my coworkers since we're so close. This is a good spot for groups since the tables are large enough for a decent party. The wood-fired pizzas are always a good bet, but so are the pastas and Mediterranean cuisine. The staff are nice and it's not too loud even when busy. There's a large parking lot outside so it's easy to find this spot place."

"This place is the real deal. Just good old-fashioned Philly pizza that's fresh, tastes great, and is not greasy. I knew I made the right choice as soon as I heard the owners speaking Sicilian to each other!"
"The pizza crust is the best that I've had ate from this area, plenty of fresh options"
"Great location and pretty decent food. I've ordered from them a few times and have always been content. They put a good amount of veggies on their vegetarian gourmet pizza and a consistent amount of spinach on their spinach pie. They aren't too dry and the aren't too greasy. I've definitely had better pizza and I've definitely had worse. Everyone is really nice and they answer their phones quickly. The prices are reasonable and I'll likely be back for more."
"This was very close to being a very good cheesesteak. We got the Royal cheesesteak. Nice cheese melted on top and toasted roll. But, the roll blew out. It had a good amount of extras but they needed more grill time and a better mix. I am still undecided about $12."
"You see the cheesesteak picture is only half because I broke the rule of camera eats first. That's how much I enjoyed this cheesesteak. It's been my favorite one I've had here so far. I had cooper sharp ketchup mayo onions salt and pepper. The line was long because it was lunch time but the cashier was efficient fast and friendly. It was clean and I would definitely eat there again."
"When I first moved to the area in 2020, many people raved about this place being a neighborhood staple. I'm glad it's now back in action. I've eaten there twice now. The first time I got the traditional pie and the second I got the BK special (pictured). The pizza is very solid for a neighborhood spot! The pizza is on the thinner /crisper side naturally, but you can always order it more or less well done. When I go back I'll probably order extra hot honey (my preference) but the Bk special is definitely a hit otherwise. They can get backed up pretty easily being a small local shop so be patient with them; they're doing their best.Prices are fine, pizza is good, definitely try them out."
"I found it odd that a NYC style pizza place opened in the food court at Liberty Place, but as a big pizza lover I was still eager to try it. I would expect Brooklyn Pizza to open in a food court frequented by tourists. I stopped by for lunch and ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of sausage. They were 2 nice sized slices for a reasonable price. They are definitely the foldable slices popular in NYC. I would have liked just a bit of crispiness in the crust. The pepperoni slice was a bit too greasy but very tasty. The sausages are thick, like I like it, but it made the slice feel like it needed more cheese. I enjoyed the pizza, but it's not good enough to make this my go-to pizza spot when there are so many pizza places in the area."
"Tried the pickle pizza for something a little different and it did not disappoint. Very tasty. This place always has delicious pizza!!!!Quick turnaround time too, I didn't have to wait long at all ! Highly recommend this place !"
"We got take out from here while staying nearby at our kids home. It's nice to be able to walk to get the food. The sauce is delicious and the ingredients are yummy but I feel like thedough/crust needs something. Overall a decent pizza."
"Ever just stop and say I'll grab a slice to curb my hunger ? Yeah that's how we walked into John's. This was absolutely delicious and I will admit hear "how can I help you baby" from a woman older then I totally made my day."

Arpeggios offers a beautiful ambience and good service. We sat outside and had a beautiful view of Springhouse and the lake. Our waiter was very kind and friendly. As for the food, we ordered the mussels to start and they were fine. Not fishy but not overly flavorful either. The bread was nice and soft. The pasta dish had chicken, vegetables and a light white wine sauce. It was unfortunately flavorless and needed to be rescued by mountains of Parmesan cheese. The quality felt OK but the food was average and expensive for what it is. Would recommend if you are looking for a safe BYOB with a good atmosphere but not if you are looking for the best Italian food in the Philly suburbs.

the pizza was terrible dry and no flavor. They have tons of slices sitting around rather than making fresh pizza. For the price and quality, you are better off going elsewhere.

Zesto Pizza and Grill got me through the Pandemic with all their deliciousness! But seriously, their pizza is incredible. I normally order the White Margherita Pizza or just a regular plain pizza, so I can really only vouch for those two pies. They put a generous amount of cheese on their pizza, and the crust isn't overly thick or super thin. It's perfect. I also ordered a chicken caesar salad once that exceeded my expectations. The portion was huge, and they used high quality ingredients.Definitely recommend this spot to people driving through Roxborough/Manayunk!

Heck yes!!! Late night solid meat lovers pizza. They put the meat under the cheese and made it more flavorful with less falling toppings. I would absolutely go here again. No pic cause we tore that pizza up! Huge menu. It's South Philly so whatever your cultural food you have to add Pizza. This was Mexican and pizza and they did it right! Fast service and pizza was done frfr. Family store, open till 4a and definitely my new little hot spot down SoPhilly

Just got a pizza and for some reason they changed their mushrooms (canned mushrooms to fresh mushrooms--the canned mushrooms used to be small, tasty and plentiful). Sounds like a good change in theory, but don't mess with perfection! Switching to fresh mushrooms changed the iconic taste of the mushroom pizza which we have loved for decades! What the heck?!They also used to use fresh green pepper, and now they use a canned red/orange pepper. When asked about this, they denied ever having fresh green peppers as a topping (which is just not true).Guys, please maintain the toppings and flavors we have grown to love! Too many things in this world change for the worse, be a beacon a tradition!

"Quick service, nice staff, excellent pizza. What more can one ask for. If you ask for recommendations, trust the vegetarian- he won't lead you astray!"
"This was delicious! Absolutely delicious it could've been 5 stars if the wait wasn't so looong for the food but other than that..its divine! So far I ate at Lagos twice and I enjoyed both my dishes. Lagos is like a fusion between Caribbean and American food. The fist time I ordered over the phone and my food was already ready when I arrived. I ordered the chicken and shrimp alfredo pizza and it was the best pizza I had. The pizza was packed with flavor. It taste like it was made with love. I knew I would visit again. Then I returned and ordered a fish and shrimp platter and I ended up waiting almost an hour for my food to be ready! Womp womp! The platter was delicious tho...it had fried fish, mac and cheese and broccoli. Yum! The sauteed shrimp was on the side. I also ordered the banana pudding crumble and omg it tasted so good! It was like vanilla cake batter and cookies. Wow!Overall I would return when I have time to wait cause you never know with Lagos!"
"Tried delivery for this spot even though it was up in another area. The mega fries were amazing. The cheesiest, fullest medium size i've ever had, along with lots of bacon and also jalapeños to make the flavor just perfect. Can't wait to try pizza as well!"
"Pre-Covid I was here at least three or four times a month. But then I moved away for a bit but I'm back in Delco and back going to 1010. Over the years I've had their salads, cheesesteaks and some of their pizza. Every single meal has been tasty and great.Today my daughter was here from the city and wanted to order takeout so I suggested 1010. She called the order in and drove to pick it up.I got a text from her when she was there telling me how friendly everybody was there. She wasn't used to that because of living in the city but I told her that this is a normal occurrence there. Every customer is treated as if they are their best customer. They really have the customer service thing down. Today, we opted for a chef salad and a Cobb salad. Both were awesome. Both were packaged well and made it safely home in the car without a mess. You can't go wrong with 1010. Give it a try."
"Loved the pear mule (just need better straws since mine disintegrated super quick and couldn't use to drink). The short rib pizza was fantastic. Chicken parm looked good but didn't try. The pasta with chicken and spinach was fantastic sauce. A lot of tomatoes if you like tomatoes. Service was so nice and on the ball. Food was reasonably priced and delicious and great portion sizes, we all had leftovers. Christmas themed restaurant for the holiday. Outdoor seating and free parking lot for parking. Will definitely be coming back."
"Funny story my boyfriend and I share Similar stories of our childhood eating the best pizza in town at Atlas however we didn't meet until our 30's so of course we had to go on a date here and guest what it's was just as good as when we were kids"
"Still the best. Intimate, ambient, byob, delicious and one of the best out there. We ate delicious food... the octopus is always a game changer.. drank wine, devoured the fungi pizza and the chicken kabobs and two of the specials and delighted in Chef Bobby's kitchen flair. This place is outstanding... time after time, year after year. If you haven't visited yet, what in the world are you waiting for?"
"The pizza is bomb but.....There's a lady who works there and she calls me beautiful every visit (even with my mask on). It's the best Black Woman empowerment experience I've had on City Ave and I return just for her!"
"Tony Roni's is a local mini Italian and pizza chain that is actually very decent and def a step or two above national chains and some other local pizzerias. However there is none in my neighborhood and to reach the closest one I have to traverse on the only road and bridge which goes across and through the scenic Vale of the Wissahickon to reach the Roxborough neighborhood of Philly. It's not something I do that often at mealtime and it would have to be for something special. So for regular pizzas I'll stay more local but you see Tony Roni's has Thai Pizza (it's not pure Thai flavoring but different enough) and I do like this style so it's worth the trip. This is a flavorful non-traditional pizza with a combination of toppings that work ... and it also holds up nicely to reheating the next day. Thai pizza anyone?"
"I ordered 4 wings and broccoli with fried rice. The wings are meaty and good! I got the mild teriyaki and it was very tasty. The wings were cooked well and nice and juicy. I was not feeling the rice it had an after taste that I couldn't pinpoint but it was not desirable. I'll be back for wings and skip the rice. Good value for the amount of food."
"solid no nonsense pizza. the crust was rather brittle. you won't write home taking your mates about it, but for locals it's a legit option! very large pizzas that fulfill the pizza crave time and time again. can't go wrong with the veggie blend topic mix. great flavors and colorful array."

"Had the London Broil Salad today for my lunch/dinner while at work today!!! The best salad I had from this area ever!! The horseradish dressing was awesome"
"Got the chicken and lamb over rice and chicken over rice both with white and red sauce and it was awesome! Chicken is seasoned really well and the lamb was tender and flavorful. Would definitely order from here again!"
"It has been a long time since we had dinner at Maria's ( before the pandemic), but it has not lost a step. The bar area has supersonic sound when it is crowded, but the dining room is the exact opposite -- quiet and very pleasant. Everything we had was excellent, especially the spinach salad (huge) and delicious cod special. And the "house" Chardonnay at $10 was much better than much more expensive ones I have had elsewhere. And a FULL glass, unlike most restaurants. And our server, Cate, was the absolute best -- a delightful, charming, friendly lady with a great sense of humor. A wonderful neighborhood restaurant for 20 years!"
"This restaurant was recommended by a coworker who lives in Havertown. She spoke highly about the drinks, and she wasn't wrong. The menu had something for everyone in our four person party, drink wise and food wise.My coworker told me that the building used to be a bank, but they've definitely augmented the space and made it their own."
"Great tasting pizza and pasta. Enjoyed their Chicken Parm as well. I highly recommend this establishment."
"I ordered from Keystone and am glad I did. They had a free delivery deal, and the prices were pretty fair. The baked ziti had lots of cheese and was not bad. The salad had huge pieces of veggies and a lot of feta, which I liked a lot. And each item came with nice, soft bread. The delivery person was also very friendly. I'd order from here again for sure."
"This place is a Roxborough neighborhood staple. My dear friend Dee introduced me to it.First, it's not "destination dining," though I think you'd be hard pressed to find any place in Roxborough that deserves that particular appellation. It's in a strip mall so there is no beautiful antique bar or trendy art work. Whenever I'd come here with Dee, though, this place always reminded me of where one would go for a family celebratory treat kind of meal-like if one of the kids got a good report card or someone made the softball team. Dee used to take her late mother here once a week after they both got mani/pedis. When my 22 year old long haired Flame Point cat died in her sleep, Dee immeditely drove to my house, bundled me into her car and brought me here. We did not mention the cat's passing but being in a friendly place was a tremendous comfort. When our server saw tears running silently down my cheeks, God love her, she came over with a bagged, boxed piece of cheesecake and whispered to me that she hoped this would cheer me up. Only in Philly. You'll find standard American/Italian food at Mister P.'s. The menu is enormous. Service was always friendly, fast and accommodating. I've had their 14 inch pizzas, their strombolis, calzones, Italian hoagies, meatball sandwiches (divine!), pasta fagioli, jumbo shrimp platter, plain old green side salad, their cannolis and so much more that I can no longer recall. I can say honestly that I never had a bad or unsatisfying meal and after my first visit here, I was always treated like a regular. When our server learned on my first visit that I had just moved back to Philly after a long stay on the West coast, she went out of her way to welcome me back and included 4 gratis cannolis to go along with the check for my first dinner at Mister P's. Portions are very large and it was never unusual for the 2 of us to take home enough leftovers for at least 2 more meals after dining here. While the decor is nothing memorable or Instagram worthy, the restaurant as well as the restrooms were always spotless and we were never given sticky menus. If that sounds weird, then you have never eaten at a place that does not give their plastic coated menus a good, thorough wipe down-front and back at the close of business day.You can go to Fiorella, Fiore, Via Locusta or any number of places in Center City, East Passyunk or South Philly for very fine, "authentic" Italian cuisine but I doubt you'll be served and treated with the same warmth and caring we always found here."
"Order from here a lot from UBEREATS and it's a hit or miss to get all of your items delivered ."
"This place is on the corner of Oregon and Juniper. Very clean and bright with nice seating area. Condiments and napkins are available on the counter.French fries is really good. It has a nice crisp, not soggy, and not burnt.Pepperoni pizza has nice presentation. The pizza isn't the Neapolitan kind with the marblings and puffy crust. It's a NY style pizza. However, the crust is perfect as it has good chewiness, not too hard. Good amount of pepperoni too."
