"David's is the old reliable, mainstay Chinese food restaurant in Chinatown. Nothing fancy, in fact it's kind of ANTI-fancy. The waiters are taciturn, bordering on cranky, and they've been there since dirt, but they'll remember you, and take good care of you.The food is good, but what brings everyone back is the dumplings. The dumplings, the dumplings. They have been referred to as dumplings with crack sauce, and rightfully so. They are addictive. They are delicious.Right now there is no indoor dining, which is a shame, because that was part of the experience. Anyway, old, reliable David's. Can't go wrong."
"Hatch & Coop on South 12th Street in the Jefferson University Medical Center neighborhood is a perfect place to catch a tasty breakfast either before or after an appointment with your doctor (In my case, before). Walking in the first impression is of gray/black walls and loud reggae music. Attractive in a quasi industrial kind of ethos. Counter and kitchen along one wall and a half dozen tables against the other. Orders are taken via kiosk, which is easily followed, and then prepared and served by a worker with a smile. Their 50/50 Sandwich comes loaded with 2 scrambled eggs, choice of bacon or turkey sausage and melted cheese on a Hawaiian Roll, with sautéed onion and special house mayonnaise slid in to fit under the hood. First bite was enough to get me excited. The sweetness of the roll was challenged by the savory of the sausage and onions, while the eggs were soft and neutral, and the mayo tickled the buds with a little heat. It was an excellent sammy. Only shortcoming was the complete absence of coffee in the house. Boy, what I would have done for a large mugga joe! A plastic bottle of water is not a real alternative when caffeine is called for that time of day. Still, the atmosphere was chill and utilitarian and they will be open 24/7 soon. With the hospital down the street, these guys should be busy any time of day or night. Hatch should be a feast for the senses for those folks."
"I love love love Tsaocaa'a slushes! We come here as often as possible, as the slushes just cannot be beat by any other place. Having tried Vivi, Teado, and Kungfu, I will always choose to come to Tsaocaa over those. The staff is quick and friendly, and the drinks are delicious. We don't love sweet drinks, but when you do 0% sugar, there is still a slight sweetness from the juice and jellies. I recommend the grapefruit, strawberry, and mango slushes, as they are the most refreshing ones on a hot summer day. They do have indoor seating available if you are comfortable. I haven't tried the chicken yet, but it does look delicious."
"Worth the hype.I went to Asad's Hot Chicken on a Sunday afternoon and waited 10 minutes to order. The line was 7 people in front of me and stayed around 5-10 people the whole time I was there. After ordering, the food took another half hour. They give you a ticket number and have a digital ticker on the building that shows the current order number. They brought out 2 or 3 orders at a time, about every 10 minutes or so. I ordered the #4 since I wanted to try both the slider and the chicken tender. There's 5 heat levels, ranging from no spice to reaper. I went for "hot" which is the level in the middle. It was a good level of spice, the kind that makes your nose water a little but doesn't overwhelm the food. The chicken itself was cooked perfectly: juicy and tender meat with a crispy breaded outside. It also came with a good amount of seasoned fries and their "secret sauce" (similar to spicy mayo). The #4 came with one tender, one slider, and fries for $11.99. It might not seem like a lot of food but the tender was huge and the slider was more like a burger size. If I hadn't been starving it would've been enough for 2 meals. There's no place to sit and eat since Asad's is located in the parking lot of a gas station, but that wasn't a problem since I drove and ate in my car."
"Following fellow Yelpers' advice, we chose Srinagar for our takeout dinner. Five star reviews almost across the board, which is nothing to sneeze at!Vegetable samosas are delicious with flakey and flavorful pastry -- several notches above samosas I'm used to. You don't necessarily get the same sensation from takeout as when you dine in. I point this out because Gobi Manchurian (fried cauliflower in chili sauce) was not as crisp as it likely was if eaten right away.As a one-trick-pony who pretty much orders the same thing, I say without hesitation that their chicken tika is excellent: succulent chunks of well-seasoned breast meat, perfectly cooked in the tandor. My family equally enjoyed chicken korma and lamb tika masala. As you can see in my photos, the dishes are saucy, creamy and quite good over rice.Basmati from our takeout restaurant in GA is deliciously enhanced by a bit of cardamom. A negligible point, but if Srinagar was to make one minor change, it would be to jazz up their rice. Otherwise ... a perfectly wonderful meal."
"I didn't know Korean chicken was a thing. However, it's definitely it's my thing now. I was doing some work at the coffee shop across the street and noticed the place and on a whim I said, let me try it and take some home to the family. The place is fairly small, not a lot of tables, but I do believe I would like to try the food there next time. It's a 20 minute ride home, but still it was really good. The chicken is really moist and the crunchy. How do I truly explain the technique.......uhhhhhhhhhhhh, don't know but it's good. They have a few sauce options. I felt they took it over the top. My family did not need the sauce, so it's just a bonus. The order was quickly ready and the gentleman taking my order was extremely helpful. Overall, if I am in the area, this is tops on my list of options"
"This is the place you want to go for absolutely perfectly cooked chicken. My sandwich had a large breast which was moist and juicy inside and crisp outside. The sauce, pickles and Jack cheese combined to make a perfect sandwich. The service was fast and friendly even with a crowd from the art festival outside. Will definitely go back to give some of their other sandwiches a try."
"They're apparently still in their soft opening until spring, so you either have to order and pay on site or give your credit card information over the phone because you can't order online yet. They don't have a site yet and if you try to Google their menu it's not the same as other franchises, so I'd just go based off the pics you see on here. For 3 people we ordered the following for takeout, which was enough for us:* large half & half (20 wings, honey garlic & hot king) - I loveeee crispy fried chicken rather than wings that have a super wet and messy sauce. The sauce was crystallized on the outside and had the exact crunch I like. I'm definitely a honey garlic gal, and I'm glad I didn't get the extra hot king because I can't handle it if it's too spicy. I think they gave us two radish orders free with this and you just +$1 if you mix flavors* two dumpling orders (7 wings each with sauce) - also crispy just how I like them! I think they mentioned a couple different options but I got the mixed meat one...I think it was chicken, pork, and beef? The food was ready within 10-15 minutes of placing the order over the phone and they came in takeout containers packed pretty tight so they didn't budge when driving home. I'm excited for them to expand the menu and I want to try more items in the future (maybe even eventually dine in)!"

I've seen this video maybe it was on Instagram about if you're looking for the most authentic Chinese food, go for the places with 3 stars on Yelp. Service is ehh but good enough, but the food on the other hand, so good. This is one of those places. Open late night, known for their salt and pepper wings, ask for side of hot oil mmMmm. Some of my other favorites, chow fun with gravy, and their house fried rice, lobster with ginger scallions, always so good. They still aren't opened for dine in but when you drive by and see the line outside for just pick up, you know it has to be that good

The fried chicken I tried was a crispy delight, with a perfectly seasoned and flavorful exterior. The juicy and tender meat inside added a wonderful contrast. It's a savory treat that satisfies the taste buds - a definite must-try for fried chicken enthusiasts!

Asad's isn't a bad option if your in the mood to try another spicy chicken place. They advertise it as a Nashville hot chicken rather than the Cajun Style that's been popular in the area. The location is very small, I can't believe they fit around five to six people inside the building! The wait was about ten minutes for my food and there is no place to eat (sitting on a curb or inside your car are the fastest options). The good news is the parking lot next door is extremely large so there is plenty of room for you to park and eat in your car if you have to. The staff was friendly and quick, they have a digital sign with order numbers to inform you when your ready to pickup your food. I went simple and tried a hot tender plus a smoothie. On their heat scale you can go from no spice, to mild, then hot, extra hot and reaper. One tender was $4 and change and a smoothie was $8. They charge a convenience fee if you use a credit card. The hot tender was big. It came with a slice of soft bread and a dipping sauce. The sauce was similar to a zesty sriracha/ketchup mayo. The breading of the chicken wasn't holding too tight to the chicken, but it was crunchy and kicked up quite a bit. The chicken itself was fresh, juicy and a large portion. The flavors of the hot breading/chicken, dipping sauce and bread went well together. Best way I could describe the breading was that they may use a variant of Masala to get their flavor. The smoothie was a mango, pineapple combo that they call Sunshine. They only sell one size. Thankfully it wasn't overly sugary and the ice was crushed well. I saw some fresh fruit hanging around the cashier area so I assumed it's all made fresh and not from containers or mixes. Overall I thought the experience was good. The wait was pretty long, but for their operation I can understand why it happens. The line stayed pretty steady the entire time I was there. I'd repeat, but wouldn't go out of my way to seek them out again.

I'll add to the list of those complimenting this restaurant. Ordered takeout on Moms Day for the first time. Decent online ordering platform that sends usual confirmations plus an order status. Located 1/2 block off the main drag in Narberth, it's a tidy shop with indoor and outdoor tables, and bustling this particular Eve. While we ordered traditionally family favorites as far as Indian fare, absolutely found it top notch. The veggie samosas are delicious with requisite green chutney of mint and cilantro and a brown tamarind sweet and sour sauce. The deeply rich colored chicken vindaloo ordered xtra spicy, stands out even though vindaloo is ubiquitous. Likewise, the "medium" spicy chicken tikka was loved by the teen, also advocating for this being the best he's had. The pickup was easy.

Came here from a recommendation of my husbands coworker. We can't resist trying out some KFC (Korean fried chicken). Apparently they have 3 locations, two in the city and this one! Glad we came though, we got 2 half chicken meals one with with "buttery rice" and another with onion rings. The buttery rice wasn't buttery but it was okay, they had fried egg on top. Fried eggs make anything better. The onion rings were homemade and were just ok, they didn't have a lot of flavor. The kimchi was a good side though I enjoyed that with my chicken and the rice. Now the chicken was very good! It was hot, crispy and we got the sauces on the side because for me you have to taste the chicken how it is! It's a good way to control the sodium too! We got the sweet chilli which was a crowd favorite and the honey garlic which was ok. I would definitely come back here to try more sauces and items!

I love this place. It always has good food and a good spot in a cozy section that is on the intersection of Baltimore Pike and Lansdowne. This time, after getting a usual Korean barbecue sandwich, I bought stuff to take home. I did that because I have to get more people hooked! This area is like a "Delco Center City." There are so many restaurants to choose from and if you like hot sandwiches (burgers included), check out Crisp Chick'n!

The promise of crispy fried chicken, described by fellow yelpers, lured me to this spot sitting at the corner of Girard and Marshall streets, in what is now known as Northern Liberties. Hunger and fatigue made me forget to snap views of business. But, The interior was well-lit and very clean. Glass refrigerators displayed their wide selection of beer to the left and the cash register sat to the right with the open kitchen behind. There is inside seating for those inclined to get to their meals hot off the presses. Parking on street. We got 10 soy garlic and 1/2,1/2 (5 each) hot and honey soy. The bill was $31 and change and credit card info was required for phone orders. Wings were ready in the timeframe promised. We preferred the soy garlic and hot, the honey soy was just okay. We do like spicy food, but after trying the hot, we agreed that we probably would not have been able to handle the extra hot version they also offer. The chicken was cooked pretty perfectly-crispy outside and moist inside. The glazes were very flavorful and well balanced, but we did feel like after the exterior was gone, the interior lacked any seasoning. Still, they satisfied our crispy wing cravings.

"Small takeaway place that serves mighty delicious and crispy chicken. We got the regular size (8 pieces consisting of 2 legs and the rest wing drumlets and flats) in honey garlic flavor.Had to take it to go in a box and while I was tempted to try it right away I waited for the 20 min ride back home.It was still crispy and delicious.Friendly service. Wish they had some tables so that one could enjoy the chicken fresh and hot.Can take 20-30 min for your order so we just went to Pho Thai Nam next door for lunch 1 and grabbed the chicken for lunch 2. What?? Not everyone has 2 lunches you say??? Odd."
"I'd been to the original Asad's on the Boulevard and the hot chicken was worth the hype, but it came with a long line and wait time with no way to order ahead. I was excited to see this secondary location open in Bensalem, since it offers online ordering. It is also a storefront with an inside space located in a strip mall, compared to the original Asad's stand in the lot of a gas station. The online ordering interface gives an estimated wait time which I've seen range from 10 to 25 minutes, depending on the time of day I was ordering. The estimate was accurate each time I've been. The chicken was as good as I expected. It's difficult for me to say how it compares to the original Asad's without doing a direct side-by-side taste test, but I think the Bensalem location stands on its own as exceptionally delicious hot chicken--with the added convenience of online ordering and a larger location."
"What an amazing place! I was so glad to be invited by the owners of OK hot chicken to come and try their evening establishment. During the day they run Martabak ok which is a sweet and savory pancakes. But after 6 pm, this is the place to be if you love fried chicken! We tried the sandwich, wings, loaded fries and a wrap! All the dishes had varying level of heat, so we could taste it all and honestly even the most spiciest level was 100% enjoyable. Which I think sets them apart, there's been a lot of new hot fried chicken places in Philly and some of them just overdo the spice. Anyway ok hot chicken is halal, fresh, crispy and juicy. They are super sweet and the storefront is clean, it's a take out joint only, so do not expect to sit in."
"Tried this place on a whim with a gf and we were very pleased. The woman at the counter was helpful and answered all of our questions. The food was also very tasty and there was no wait. I ordered the fried chicken, mac and cheese, greens and cornbread. The fried chicken was really good, nice and crispy like I like it, the mac and cheese was just alright, and surprisingly the greens tasted great ! They were very well seasoned and that can be a hit or miss with most places. The cornbread was also delicious too. Overall the food was very reasonably priced and tasty. I'll definitely be back."
"Food was great, milkshake was pretty good. No inside, so be prepared to eat somewhere else. Would definitely go back"
"It's super chill in there. I've never been to a boba place that also had chicken! Service was fast and there's plenty of outdoor seating so that was an added perk. Met a friend here for lunch and I tried the sweet and spicy and the soy garlic boneless wings along with the beef dumplings. The dumplings were juicy inside and crispy outside and the sweet and spicy was genuinely spicy it had me crying and snottin a bit but I enjoy the spice. Definitely have to come back to try the other flavors, I was thoroughly impressed. I had a boba too and it was good but even "regular" sweet was a bit sweet for me. Still delightful though! I'll be back!"
"This place had good and friendly customer service, the chicken sandwich was made perfectly. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Now it's a fast food place but not your average fast food. I ordered the medium level heat, the spices and the sauce they put on the chicken were flavorful for a fast food spot. I am glad that they serve halal chicken which I find tastier and cleaner. I'd try this place again."
"Didn't get to taste the food here because as I was waiting the chef came straight from outside & proceeded to make my food. Not a single drop of water or soap in sight. I cancelled my order & left."
"The food is prepared to order. Pretty tasty for a late night spot to grab and go. There was a line down the block when it first opened but now you can easily go in and order without the mayhem. The food was is OK and the service is good. I got the chicken wrap platter. The portions are good. The best thing was the cookies & cream milkshake."
