"Honey lavender latte - fantastic. The food was so good! Expect large. portions & it's cash only but they have an atm out front. Def will be a regular spot for me when in the city."
"Breakfast was ... fine. To be fair I didn't have French toast, which seems to be their calling card, or a mimosa ... music was really loud for 9am on a Sunday, service was ok."

"I have tried the white dog cafe in university city so I was super excited to find out that they had another location in Wayne. The interior is so cute and filled with cute dog portraits. There's a nice bar inside and plenty of tables for dining. We opted for the brunch hours and ordered the deviled eggs, eggs Benedict and my bf got the steak and eggs. I tried his piece of steak and was super impressed with the cut and how it was cooked. The deviled eggs had caviar on top and it tasted just as good as it looked. Overall a great dining experience"
"UPDATE: everything else still stands, but the rose and cardamom is now my favorite lassi. GET IT!Also props to the staff member working all by himself being absolutely slammed during porchfest. He was hustling and doing a great job with the food with a line out the door!"
"I ordered via Postmates so I can only imagine the in person experience. The chorizo breakfast burrito is AMAZING. I've never rushed to write a review to fast. As a Mexican and Los Angeles visitor I can attest to this being some of the best chorizo I've ever had.The flat white with vanilla syrup is equally delicious.Would definitely recommend this place!"
"As we entered Radicchio Cafe we were greeted by the hostess who brought us to our table. While we were perusing the different options of endless enjoyment, we had the opportunity to see what others had ordered for their table. Let me tell you our mouths began to salivate just looking at the presentation from these dishes. While we were enjoying a several glasses of wine, let me just tell you what we enjoyed this fine evening. (At the moment it is still a "BYO")Appetizer.* Burrata ~ This was one of their specials , and this was amazing. Creamy, and delightful which made this salad the more enjoyable. * Grilled Octopus ~ This was perfectly marinated.Main.* Branzino ~ A special they were serving this evening, and this European seabass was made to perfection. This also came with a side of vegetables which complimented the main attraction.* Tagliatelle Diavolo ~ Another special they were serving with scallops, shrimp, and clams. This spicy dish was simply amazing.Dessert.* Tiramisu ~ What can one say.. simply exquisite. The service was on point with our waitress making sure we were fully accommodated, which is always a plus. In all with the decor , that home type feel that makes you feel like you are eating with family. This my yelp fam can make any meal you choose more enjoyable. With all of this coming at you, it makes you want to come back again, and again, and again. I know I will be back when they open up their new bar.I am Nando, and I approve this message."
"While Christmas shopping I was looking for a place that was quick, a good selection and some seating to recharge and eat! This cafe fits the bill, perfectly. Order at the kiosk and grab a seat in one of the tables. Ordered Spicy Philly Panini which lived up to the billing. Quite a bite of heat with this sandwich of spicy chicken, bacon, avocado and cheese. A big meal for $11. The chicken shawarma wrap is fresh and flavorful. Great cappuccino and cafe Americano. For a quick bite that is quality, you are here!"
"Staff? Lovely. Food? Godly. The birria tacos were so juicy I almost shed a tear - drench it with sauce and dunk it in the soup. The chicken quesadilla were surprisingly light yet full of flavor. I think this may be my new favorite Mexican in Philly. Till next time, mi amor, Cafe Ynez."
"+ Seated right away on a busy Sunday morning?+ Great menu of diner favorites and specials?+ The most delicious fresh squeezed orange juice?+ Sourdough toast?Yes please to all! I had been wanting to try this great spot after bemoaning Philly's lack of respect for diner culture. I so badly miss popping into a great diner for a greasy breakfast on a Sunday morning (aka my version of church) and was on a mission to right that wrong. Fitzwater Cafe fits the bill perfectly and I will order the frittata probably every single time I go. Totally indulgent with cheese and veggies and served with rosemary potatoes that were some of the best breakfast potatoes I've had in a minute.Your mileage may vary here. A few things that were less than optimal:+ Food did take a bit longer than you would expect. Our waitress said there were a number of large parties ahead of ours that lead to the backup which I appreciated.+ Stool seats at the bar aren't the coziest. + My boyfriend's scrapple croissant on special was really good but not something he'd go for again. I had a bite and agreed it was a little too mealy/rich a sandwich to enjoy.+ I would avoid the specialty coffee drinks and go for your standard diner coffee. Espresso was burnt and bitter. But do NOT skip the orange juice! Best $5 i've spent in a minute. Diner lovers unite!"
"Thoroughly enjoyed a slice of Campfire Cake and Red Velvet. While the Campfire was both flavorful and surprisingly light, the Red Velvet was a star for us. We'll be back!"
"Did I slide past Frieda on the way to meet friends to grab one of those chai lattes they make so well? I sure did.Did I double back later on and grab a brisket sandwich to go?I sure did. Did they pack my sandwich so neat, that I didn't spill a single drop while walking and eating? They sure did. Will I be back sooner than later to vibe out with another latte?I sure will. :-)"

In Philly Green Eggs Cafe for brunch is a must do. They are cash only but have an ATM. Their staff is very friendly and seating gets full so be prepared to wait even on a weekday. Our wait was short but there was a long line waiting when we left on a Monday morning, so be prepared to wait a while especially on weekends. The ambiance is very nice in a historic building yet simple. The Lavender and Oreo Lattes were the best we ever had and the Spicy Margaret 21+ drink I got was amazing too. But the best thing here is the unbeatable food in which my wife and I shared the French Toast Board (a smaller of four of their famous French toasts, an Apple Pie French Toast, and the Short Rib and Tinga Egg Rolls. A final cute touch was when they put the receipt in an empty coffee mug and we put our cash in there.

I stopped in on a Thursday for brunch. Overall, I liked the food and drinks as did my friend. They were a little short staffed, so I'd have to go back to give a true assessment on the service. It was a little chilly in the dinning room but the bar area is warmer. I ordered the vegan crème brûlée French toast. Tasty but on drier side. I would had asked for more syrup but it was too busy to get anyone. :(

My partner had heard great things about this place. They are known for their chaat and lassi but we ended up getting the tandoori chicken. We had asked the owner if he would recommend chaat or tandoori chicken and he said the chicken. I've never had chaat before but my partner said it's more of a "street food" snack, and it's not very healthy and is more of like a fun things to snack on. The tandoori chicken was delicious! The flavors is amazing and I love that it came with vegetables (squash, bell peppers, cauliflower). The price is very affordable and the portion size is great for two people. The one thing that I was disappointing was the cardamom lassi. We got the vegan version which is replaced with oat milk. It was overly sweet and you don't get the creaminess of lassi when you switch it out for the vegan option. If you were to get a lassi here, I highly recommend getting the regular one.

I like this coffee shop a lot. It has a chill vibe and the upstairs is a super cool work/eating space. The staff is always friendly and they always have new items to try.

I'm happy to update my review for Radicchio to reflect more like my original. This was my favorite neighborhood spot before they closed down (COVID). I was so excited when they reopened, but the food wasn't the same. I can now confidently say that they are back even better than the original. They have taken the original dishes and have worked hard to stay true to the consistency and quality they were known for with many of the same servers from back in the day. Also they have kept the cozy and intimate ambiance intact! Bravo Radicchio and welcome back!

One of the best matcha lattes I've had in the city! The bulgogi wrap was also amazing. There was a little bit of a wait, but I didn't mind because the food was great. Can't wait to come back!

Ynez roughly translates to pure- which is fitting because this place was pure joy. This Mexican restaurant is tucked away and is definitely a hidden gem. The staff were incredibly nice and very friendly. We got the guac to start. They claimed it was award winning and it definitely showed! Came here with a small group and the place was super dead, which is strange because all the food was so good. I got the veggie burrito and it came with fries (Umm yes please) and was really good, but wish they added guac or some sort of sauce bc it leaned a little dry (but flavors were really good). The horchata was a bit too sweet for my liking but a good pairing with the guac/chips. Overall, would definitely stop by here again!

"Apple Walnut Cafe is as homegrown as it gets especially walking in and seeing all the patrons and even some of the staff wearing their Eagle's gear! It was a packed house but it still only took 10 minutes to be seated. We were greeted with small sample bites of their apple walnut bread which was amazing. I really wanted to order pancakes but based on the size I saw at someone else's table. I opted to get a Philly steak omelette with home fries. The eggs were soft and the home fries had that slight crisp on them, just the way I like them. I really enjoyed the energy in the room and how it felt like everyone knew each other. I definitely will be back for the pancakes."
"I was visiting the area and some family recommended them for a brunch. This place was simply amazing. The atmosphere was eclectic. They had so many knickknacks. It's a place of wonderful bric-a-brac and oddities. The staff was so fast and efficient. They sat us quickly, took our drink orders, and offered suggestions on great local fare. The tables were covered with all different trinkets and great conversation starters. I was so delighted. The food came and was hot and delicious. The portions were huge, so please come hungry. They staff ensured we had plenty to drink and were satisfactorily fed. Nook and Kranny Kafe was so good we came back a second day. I would recommend everyone come and try this place out!"
"I've been wanting to go here for many years, so finally took the opportunity to do so last weekend for brunch with a friend. Because people are typically away at the shore for summer weekends, it was easy for us to book a quick reservation that morning. The decor is cute, modern and clean with bright lighting throughout the space. Once I came in, I was immediately checked in and seated. All of the staff were very friendly and polite. Our waiter (think his name was Logan) was also super personable, gave good energy when interacting with us and had a good balance of attentiveness & letting us enjoy our food/time. We decided to order a few dishes to split and sample. Salmon Cake Eggs Benedict was unfortunately a let down for me - the salmon Cake seemed over cooked and tasted a bit plain/not seasoned. The Brioche French Toast with the peach bourbon cheesecake topping was amazing! That topping really added a good touch to the already well made french toast slices. And the side Biscuit and Gravy was shockingly good. We also had Rum Punch as our cocktail drink which was made very well.Overall, we had a good dining experience. There are a few other brunch items I want to try out, so definitely hope to come back again soon."
"The Caribou Café has always been a favorite place to stop for a bite in the city. The restaurant is cozy and pretty, the food is always exquisitely delicious, and the service is routinely as pleasant as one could possibly hope. Last night, I was pleased to find that, although there are new owners, everything was just as wonderful as I have always found it to be. Our experience was completely delightful. 3/7/24"
"Went there for the first time and had brunch. Good experience and great service. Had a good chai tea latte as well. The building was very cute with the exposed brick and they had merchandise to sell. Would def recommend."
"YUM! Stumbled into the Tasty Toast and I am so glad that I did. I got the Rainbow Mermaid which was a peach, strawberry mango juice (I think I'm missing another ingredient) but it was so delicious! It was sweet, refreshing and they put banana and strawberries slices in it! So good. Also, not pictured... my sandwich that I devoured. So, I got the bacon melt and it was also amazing. Eggs, bacon, creamy melted cheese. You can't go wrong. The service wad friendly, but just a little on the slower side (they had a ton of online orders). Would highly recommend this spot, just order ahead!"
"Hands down my favorite panini spot in Philly! I am really disappointed in myself for just writing this review (smh) My go to is the Spicy Dragon Panini, but since I usually sub the turkey for extra avocado. I have had it with the turkey and it is amazing both ways. Their fruit smoothies are awesome as are their summer drinks. My fav is the lavender tea. It is so refreshing. Everything is so fresh. I've introduced so many people to this place. I just love Torchwood!"
"This place never disappoints. I recommend calling the food in just to minimize the weight because they get busy! But they definitely move quickly! The food is amazing. From the fried fish to the jerk chicken and oxtails, the beef patties to the rice and peas and everything in between...nothing has been bad. It's not a big place so I recommend getting your food to go. The portions are a decent size too and prices are fair. This is definitely my go to spot for Jamaican food!"
"YUM YUM AND YUM!! Best breakfast meal I've had in years! And the staff was lovely. I wish I had took a pic of the food but I inhaled it. I'll be back for sure! PS- I had the fish and grits."
"Walked over to Dolce & Caffe with a friend to get cappuccino; while there we looked at the menu and decided to try their Parm Siciliano Panini. Panini's come with salad & olives on the side. This panini was so perfect & Delicious! It's was a thin chicken parm with cherry tomatoes, mozzarella and the creamy basil was just perfection. Cute spot and friendly staff. You'll definitely love it.My friend got assorted cookies too (sorry, didn't get a picture) but I did try one and it was also very good."
"We had a failure to communicate and I ended up with a very good cheesesteak omelette. I was hoping to get the cheesesteak omelette on a long roll. Nice fluffy eggs. It had a great flavor. The homefries were very tasty. I got two meals out of my cheesesteak omelette. Thank you Acme and last weekend's 12 bagels for $6 weekend."
"I was literally driving here on the way home and immediately I thought about their delicious spring rolls that are the crispiest rolls I've ever had in my life combined with that good sauce. So I called in order to spring rolls and made a u-turn. The spring rolls were done in less than 10 minutes and I showed up ate them in the car so fast that forgot to take a picture. I still haven't had the lunch special here yet, but I'm definitely getting it tomorrow since I'll be closer to the area"
"Oh my how have the coffee gods descended from above and gifted us with this elixir. I truly am a coffee nut who truly appreciates an amazing cup. Well I shouldn't say "nut", let me be politically correct about this, I am a coffee aficionado. This amazing crew of baristas at Pour Richards will make sure that first cup is the perfect cup. Myself I will always go with their pour/brew of the day, because well its the bomb. Pour Richards menu is impressive with the different ways and flavors you can enjoy a cup of coffee, or tea. What more can you ask for? Oh wait I have a little more for you. Another plus is their breakfast options or that display of treats one can indulge in. Variety is a choice of life is what I like say, so please go inside take in their unique decor, and enjoy a cup, or a bite. You can even do both if you want, no pressure."
"Easy online ordering process, delicious açaí bowls, and lots of customizations make this SoBol a winner in my book. I haven't tried a ton of the bowl-style chains in the area as I tend to make fairly delish smoothies and bowls from home when the craving hits, but grabbing lunch delivery totally hit the spot. I appreciate the use of agave in their standard açaí bowl - perfect amount for a not-overly-sweet experience. You can add all kinds of things like peanut butter, fruit, etc, but keeping the classic as is was fabulous. I appreciated the speedy delivery and the fact that my bowl was still frozen perfection upon arrival to my home. I imagine they do a great large order service as well in the event you're looking to mix up your office lunch or breakfast. Will order again!"
"Yooooooo! The dessert at this place are the real deal. It was my birthday so we made a special trip to A La Mousse and we're not disappointed. First-I appreciate they were open late so we got to experience this treat. The options were plentiful, involved true artistry, and had such a flavor variety. I chose the flourless chocolate plus mousse cake slice and it was so rich and decadent. My daughter chose the bear mousse and the hardest part was eating such a cute confection. You can't go wrong visiting this amazing place-oh and get a cappuccino-it was the perfect pairing."
"Parking is horrible but once you find a spot you're good. Service was on point. Server was friendly, attentive and informative about the menu. Drinks were good and very prett"
"I have been to a few locations of Green Eggs, but not the one on Girard Ave! I was happy to meet up with family and enjoy a meal together! The staff were friendly and service prompt! The space offers spread out tables (not on top of fellow patrons) as some Green Eggs locations tend to do! The food portions continue to be plentiful and prepared perfectly!Cash Still Rules at Green Eggs!"
"We had a very good dining experience here. "Breakfast & Lunch all day" (photo) is their motto. The waitstaff are very attentive and very friendly, and it provided a very positive and pleasant atmosphere as we were seated. That's the first thing I noticed. The food looked (photos) and tasted very good. I think they give you a generous serving so that you don't go away hungry. We didn't try any breakfast food on this visit, but judging from what others were eating, they also looked very good. Perhaps next time, I'll try some from the breakfast menu.I thought it was unusual to hear some Christian BGM played here. I was pleasantly surprised about that in this neck of the woods. It was an altogether very pleasant dining experience here. I'll be back at the next available opportunity. Highly recommended."
"I waltzed in here hungover af after a night out on Sansom St. It was the worst kind of hangover though. One of the sneak hangovers. The type of ones where you wake up and are like "damn I'm not even hung...I might just be like that..." then when you're walking down the stairs to go get a coffee you're like wow that hangover that heard me talkin all that mess. One of those hangovers where it so cunningly waits until you are planning your whole day out in your head of all the things you are going to get done, only to wait until both feet touch the earth to say "you sure about that buddy?" It's like the Sly Cooper of hangovers. Only real ones, my fellow PS2 players, will get that reference. All this to say, that hangover SNUCK me on the way to Java Company. I was just going to get a coffee, but knew I needed some sort of bread to help me fend off the sneak. We arrived and saw ample outdoor seating with beautiful, rustic chairs and tables. The quality of chairs and tables really can make or break a coffee shop. This place is what you think of when you think "cute coffee shop," I loved it. Upon approaching the order stand, I was debating what to get to fill up my tummy. My Lil Cuzzo suggested I get the Labneh as "it's really good.""The Lab-wha?" the Croatian Orangutan responded. She began to explain that it was some kind of yogurt spread on bread with cucumbers on top, and then saw my look of dire confusion and just pointed to it behind the little glass."That looks and sounds horrendous right now," I said. I meant that from my soul too it really did.I ended up getting an americano with oat milk and a plain multigrain bagel, Little Cuzzo ended up getting a dirty chai latte and the Labneh ahahahahahahaha. We sat in the corner and after some time, the waitress came with our items and shook my americano, as it looked black as TON 618, the most massive blackhole in the universe, and said "There is oat milk in there it just doesn't look like it." What am I supposed to say to that ahaha. There is still some debate to this day among Philadelphians on whether or not there was any oat milk in that americano. It is a chicken or egg scenario at this point.I tried Lil Cuzzo's Labneh, because I'll try anything once, and it was GAS. I had to eat every last word. I should have got the Labneh smh. I also tried her dirty chai latte and that was hittin too! I was sitting there with my arms crossed, staring at my plain bagel and americano with alleged oat milk and was like damn, I should have just got her order. Could never tell her that though you feel me? Lil Cuzzo's ego be crazy already!!I loved this place. GET THE LABNEH!IG @jnov_Tiktok @jnov__"
"Nice coffee shop with excellent coffee. I wish they had more offerings. Almost no cookies or anything else. I was a bit disappointed I wanted something besides my ice coffee. The cold brew was as good as it gets but it was almost $4 for a pretty small cup. The service was very good and the space is very pretty."
"Great food. Nice people. What's not to like? Surprisingly good chicken cheesesteak. Don't order saltpepperketchup. Just get pepperketchup with fr onions and a smear of mayo. It's already seasoned."
"tl;dr this quaint West Philly cafe hosts a daily assortment of empanadas and Argentinian pastriesJezabel Careaga's store-and-cafe has been widely lauded by critics and amateur foodies alike. The multi-purpose space expands across the first floors of 3 adjacent row homes, accentuating the intimate and homey feels of each room. The space is minimalistic, with unadorned white plaster walls, sleek wooden furnishings, and accent planting. Afternoon sunlight blasts through the large bay windows. Stick to the bakery display room to grab-and-go, or venture into the further rooms to sit and snack. The middle room is highlighted by an open kitchen -- designed for cooking lessons -- with a large center island surrounded by industrial ovens and tall shelves of ingredients and glassware. Wooden booths are complemented by velvet pillows, and the tables are each decked with a woven napkins basket. Further inward, the third room is sprinkled with home goods and local crafts. My partner and I arrived for late lunch on a weekday, and the air was quiet and relaxed. We browsed the pastry counter and opted for a variety of that piqued our interest, including empanadas, mafaldas (medialunas with ham and cheese), Escabeche de Berenjena (Italian pickled eggplant), and chimichurri. Of note, the 'menu' was unclear, even within the restaurant -- our strategy was to guesstimate an appropriately filling assortment of goods. All of the pastries were heated to order, recapturing a warmth and flakiness at the expense of drying out -- a risk soundly mitigated by the sides. The moderately large bowl of chunky eggplant, peppered with spice and served cold, provided a nice acidity to balance out the rich empanadas. On the other hand, the chimichurri was strongly cilantro-y and, while adding a pleasant texture and aroma to pastry-heavy bites, was otherwise forgettable. Each empanada sported a unique, intricate wrapping design. The Fugazza (leeks, sweet onions, and cheese) was the highlight of our meal, with a dynamic array of flavors and textures. In a close second was the Humita (spicy corn and cheese), accented by the pop of sweet corn complemented by rich, stringy cheese. Less memorable were the Carne (spicy ground beef) and Pollo (spicy shredded chicken and olives) varieties; while both were stuffed generously with meat, the flavors were less innovative. Finally, the mafaldas were loaded heavily (or, as generously as a small medialuna can withstand) with slices of sweet ham and cheese, then baked until melty. The service was friendly and laid-back. As a whole, our items ranged from ok to great, and our meal fell short of being truly satiating. At $28 (after tax and tip), our check totaled on the pricier side for cafe fare. While the relaxed vibes and authentic eats are well worth an occasional visit, I don't see Jezabel's entering my regular routine."
