"*IMPORTANT NOTE*The three-course dinner special on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for $40 per person is currently not offered. According to our server, it will not be available again until February 2024. I would recommend calling ahead and asking before you go."
"I had my first experience at Winnie's over the weekend and while I think the 3.5 star overall rating is pretty accurate, I needed to bump up to a 4 star thanks to the incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. Every person we encountered was so kind and welcoming, which goes a long way for me - especially when I have a dog in tow. That's the other amazing part of Winnie's: they go beyond dog friendliness on their patio and even took a photo of Miss. Fred for the dog wall! Winnie's is an amazing vibe for post-hike outdoor lunch or brunch. We were sitting outside on a relatively cool day and had no issue snagging a table at 10am on a Saturday. That being said, my veggie frittata and my boyfriend's lox plate were not great. The lox plate only comes with one bagel option (pumpernickel) and the veggie frittata is just unremarkable. I think I want to try more of their *delectable* options when I return in the future, like eggs benny and the sandwiches - both of which look really good.My coffee? Fantastic and not your standard diner fare. The complimentary cornbread? Sweet, cakey, and just how I like it. Vibes? So good. I look forward to my next trip to Winnie's and appreciate this amazing team for making our weekend morning out with a dog such a success!"

"Great little place to stop and get a latte and some breakfast or lunch. Nice clean bathroom friendly service very very clean and Right on the park"
"Friendly staff offering good service. Sat outside on the Piccini benches in the street. Felt a little strange when the buses would drive by and you could just reach out and touch them. Food was good. My crispy chicken sandwich that I added bacon to was very good. Nice flavor combination and the thick well done bacon just made it better. Everyone else also reported enjoying their meals. The burgers came out cooked as requested. The octopus was tasty. The fries could have been a bit more cooked. Overall a nice place to have lunch and drinks in the city."
"Went here for lunch on Sunday- absolutely amazing experience! The service was amazing and the food was delicious. We had a little bit of everything. We tried the wings, the sandwiches and thr duck wonton and everything was absolutely delicious. The inside is super nice and clean. I definitely recommend!"
"After reflecting on my experiences here the last year or so, I've adjusted my rating of Bardot from 3 to 5. Bardot is a delightful, no-frills bar that exceeds expectations with its immaculate interior and exceptionally friendly staff. It stands out as one of the most polished (dive?) bars I've visited. A dive by some standards, there's a level of sophistication here. It's clean, water is freely available, and TouchTunes is typically on point. The food is good, although I wouldn't necessarily opt for takeout. Their beers are reasonably priced. The bar consistently offers a fun vibe and a secure environment. I might not rave about the food, but I definitely recommend stopping by for some affordable beer, straightforward cocktails, and a great atmosphere."
"The food is great and the customer service is on point. This place is an absolute must try. I've only had a couple items on the menu but I can tell they know what they are doing. This is the kind of place where you know the cooks care about their food!"
"So this place was a bit of a let down for me. The décor was nice and the service was fast and friendly. But they were out of several appetizers and sides. No Mac and cheese bites, no tater tots, no onion rings etc. I went on a Sunday afternoon and we had reservations. The price point for the sides was also excessive for the size. I ended up getting truffle fries and it was $12 for the fries pictured. I could see if it was a basket or something but it was a very small serving for that price point. The burger was good and the price was reasonable at $15I don't think I'll be back."

We were excited to try this place since they used to have a $45? menu special which included an appetizer, entrée, desserts, and a bottle of wine for each two person dining in. However, they got rid of this special in the Philadelphia location - you can still find them on certain days in the Media location. The waiter said the special probably won't be back until February of 2024.We ended up getting 2 fried calamari to shared for the four of us and we each ordered our own entree. The portion sizes were pretty generous. I love the complimentary bread and veggie squash dip they serve in the beginning. The bread was really soft on the inside and crispy on the edges, reminded me of a sourdough bread. I got the seafood risotto which was only available on Wednesday. It was delicious and I enjoyed the big juicy shrimps! While this place is definitely not my favorite Italian place in Philly, it did every thing right and was delicious. The staffs were okay, nothing memorable nor did they go above and beyond that add to the dining experience.

So a lot of the reviews here are from regulars who have been here multiple times and have issues with service and food. My review is based on a single visit. We went here early on a Saturday morning so there was no wait time. They had few breakfast specials so we decided to try the breakfast burrito and the huevos rancheros. We requested to sub the sausage with grilled chicken, which the kitchen accommodated, but said they would charge us extra, at the time we assumed it would be a couple bucks extra. Anyway the food was 5/5, filling and so good. We were just a little taken aback to see that they charged us an extra $8 for the chicken sub. $25 for a breakfast burrito just hurts! It was good but so is the breakfast burritos at Wawa and they are under $10 . That's the only reason they lost a star. I will definitely give it another try.

I haven't been inside yet but absolutely loved my recent lunch delivery from Talula's Daily. I went with the chicken salad on greens based on reviews, and it was delightful. Literally just a to-go container of chicken salad on greens with a dijon-based dressing, I enjoyed half of it for lunch and the other half the next day. Nothing over the top or fancy, but a great option when you're on the go or looking for a super speedy delivery option in the city.I also grabbed a cookie that I thought was good, but not amazing and not something I would probably order again. I love Washington Square and look forward to stopping in IRL very soon, along with trying their sister restaurant of course.

Here for a private event. Service food and atmosphere were all excellent. Great bar tending, no such thing as "no we can't make thst". Not sure about the every day downstairs, but the upstairs event space was a blast. Yeah, I pretty much like this place .

Tucked away in an unassuming alley way of Northern Liberties, Bardot Cafe is a quaint joint with some pretty great happy hour specials and many friendly faces. I'm new to Philly, and this was my first adventure into Northern Libs at the suggestion of my new friend, Rob (Follow his blog, facebook, insta - @robs10kfriends). I'm always super excited to find a happy hour that extends beyond 6 pm, and Bardot's is 5-7 with a handful of $5 appetizers and all drafts 50%. The draft list is a mix of local and craft beers. I chose a watermelon wheat beer, and it was delicious and refreshing (and also only $3.50 during happy hour!)I'm not exaggerating when I say that you would miss Bardot if you blinked, because I almost did (and what a SHAME that would have been!) In fact, I had to take a few seconds before walking in because it was so quaint, I almost felt like I was walking into someone's home. The bartenders were super kind and accommodating which I really appreciated. The vibe is dim-lit and cozy, maybe even *dare I say*...sexy. Granted it was a Monday when I sauntered into Bardot, but there were maybe only 6 other patrons in the place. This made it super easy to have a conversation. Perfect for a date, and post work happy hour, or a solo adventure. I could see me coming here and setting up my laptop and chilling for a few hours. It's just a super comforting environment. When I left Bardot, I immediately texted my friend to tell her about it. Safe to say I'll definitely be back.

This is probably the biggest disappointment I've had with an establishment when it comes to wings. *sighs*My BF & I were too lazy to cook dinner one night, so we decided to order from Chase's Hop Shop based on the raving reviews. We ordered the Salt & Pepper Wings, Soy Sauce Wings, and Jim's Fries with Cheese Steak for pick up.Let's start with the good shall we? The fries were pretty good. Slightly a little too salty for me, but overall flavorful & decent. Now, let's get to the bad: the wings...You know how when you go to the beach and you end up getting all this sand stuck to your skin from being wet? Well that's how much salt there was on these wings that you can see so much of the texture like it was sand. It was so bad. The Salt & Pepper Wings literally tasted like you're eating tablespoons of white pepper & salt. The soy sauce wings literally tasted like soy sauce; nowhere close to Korean Soy Sauce Wings. The wings were so disappointing, I wanted to throw everything up. I know, dramatic, but how would you feel if you wasted money and stomach space on food that tastes terrible? When we picked up the food, it appeared that the owner wasn't present. You know the saying: When the Owner's away, the employees will play. We got played alright. T_T Never ordering from here again.

Came here on a Friday evening and it was empty. We still had poor service, without refills, food was served barely warm, and the air conditioner was off leading to the sweats. The portions, particularly for $10 sweet potato fries, were offensive. Burger was tasty but won't be back.

"Came here for mini golf with my gf. Wanted to make a reservation for golf, but apparently you can only make a reservation for food. It's a little deceiving online as they make it seem like you can make a mini golf reservation only if you make a dinner reservation. Essentially you can just walk in for mini-golf and skip the food portion.Anyways, we kept our dinner reservation and each ordered an entree.I got the Lamb Kheema Cheesesteak ($17) to fulfill my Philly cheesesteak cravings. It's a great twist with the Indian Lamb Kheema subbing in for the filling typically found in an American cheesesteak. Smells great and tastes great, although it can get a bit messy. Came with a side of fries. My gf ordered the Tandoori Chicken Quesadilla ($15). Another unique mix for the Tex-Mex quesadilla with the South Asian Tandoori Chicken. Loved the crispiness of the tortilla, the unique tastes, and sauces that comes with it.After dinner, we got onto what we originally came here for. Mini golf in their lower level of the restaurant and is $10 per person. It was really crowded when we started around 8PM. It's 9 holes, which can go by quickly if it's just the two of you. We were doing a lot of waiting because there were a lot of group of 4 ahead of us. Feel free to replay the hole and not feel pressured by the group behind you if you find yourself waiting. If you're okay with waiting, there's darts, corn hole, and other game scattered around the courses while you wait. There's an entire broad game area if mini golf is not your thing or if you're just looking for a chill place to hang out and have a few drinks. Each hole has a cup holder for your drinks and hooks to hang your coats, bags, etc. Overall it is a fun time and would recommend."
"I checked out Trademan's because I was in Center City for an event! I don't get to Center City too often these days (Apocalyptic Pandemic Reasons..Lol) so I wanted to get a place with a varied menu! The menu features BBQ items and a robust beer/draft menu!Me & my friends decided to sample a few items...cheesesteak egg rolls; smoked wings and a burger! The food was Meh ...the beer menu and service is why we gave it the extra star! Our server was fantastic! The space is wide open and I appreciate openness!Would I return..Yes..Happy Hour for sure!"
"Gotta get my lil buddy city wide (pale ale and a shot of whiskey) and smash burger. Service is always really friendly and they even have smaller 4oz pours if you're trying beers. They have a friendly cat Winnie that wanders around too."
"The food is great and so is the beer. Service is swift and courteous. The place is a bit noisy but that's on account of all the jollity. But when are they going to get those tables and chairs off the sidewalk. The pandemic is over. I don't want to see your dang food. I'm walking here!"
"Came here again today and got the strawberry matcha which is favorable. It was really packed with travelers and students. That being said, I appreciated how the staff communicated the realistic timelines and admitted that the kitchen was backed up. Furthermore, what looked like a business owner, he was monitoring the situation and checked in with those in line or waiting for a drink. The staff today was exceptional as they kept their cool and maintained warmth, kindness despite being super busy!"
"Redcrest Kitchen is the Cafe / Diner on 6th St. just a one block south of Philadelphia's famous South St.;In other words, it's right where all of the action is.On this rare rather warm Saturday (short sleeve shirt in Philadelphia in Mid-March-really?) we got a outdoor table for our brunch and basked in the sun.My wife shared a hotdog and Caesar salad with my sons girlfriend, my son also had a Caesar with an order of fries and I had their very good;2 scrambled eggs A wedge of excellent hash browns Two breakfast sausagesAnd some whole grain toastTo say we were all "Happy Campers" with this first rate meal combined with accomplished service would be an understatement.Along with a not too expensive bill, made this trip to the Redcrest Kitchen an outstanding experience."
"This place is my favorite reward after an early morning row! Their breakfast sandwiches are delicious- piled high with egg, cheese, and meat. And they are one of the few places these days that never run out of gluten free bread.Smoothies are very good as well. As is the coffee!"
"When it comes to ordering good food while traversing the Fishtown brewery trail, Source definitely sources some of the best options out there. And it delivers a fantastic well-rounded selection of beers in the process!I first enjoyed and saw promise for the space when it housed the short-lived Fishtown BrewPub (https://www.yelp.com/biz/fishtown-brewpub-philadelphia). But despite not making it for the long term it was a great spot for a brewery that didn't brew on-site and needed a kitchen space. And since picking it up Source made it there own right down to having an Amberella GothHeart mural as their centerpiece.Small plates include an awesome pork roll and cheddar filed pretzel, fried garlic onion pickles with spicy aioli, and party wings in an abundance of styles and spice levels. For mains, sammiches are on the menu, and my favorites are the Philly Cuban and the BBQ Mac & Beer Cheese sandwich. The beer is the main reason to go here, andthe menu is one of those that is absolutely not oversaturated with IPAs even though they have some good ones. in the past I've enjoyed a plentiful selection of pickle beers, pastry stouts, tart fruit ales, Belgian tripels, yuzu wheat beers, imperial coffee stouts, triple dry hopped ipas, maibocks, and then some! While they don't do flights, you can get those beers served in different pour sizes to really expand upon that variety."
"U-Bahn is an interesting place conceptually, especially for a Saturday night. I never pictured myself dancing and sipping on a kinda rare-to-Philly craft beer. So here's what I liked about my recent Saturday night visit:-The beer list consisted of local and fairly unique beers. If you check Philly Tapfinder, a lot of the stuff is at zero to few other bars in town. Other Yelpers noted that the beer was on the expensive side, however I found it to be on par with other bars serving craft brews.-The music was great for dancing. The DJ was on his game and played songs that kept the crowd dancing.-The bartender I ordered from seemed more like a craft beer bar bartender versus a club bartender. What do I mean? He was patient as I ordered for my group in a loud atmosphere. Then when my original selection kicked, he still gave me the small amount that came out so I could still sample it.And for the dislikes:-The cover! I hate paying cover, especially in Philly. It's just silly. Especially at a place with such a good beer list.-The people working the cover table were super rude. As we walked in they called one member of my group "trouble" and said they were watching, after he did absolutely nothing to instigate trouble, let alone even blink funny. They also assumed the male would be paying and said a bunch of chauvinistic stuff about him not paying. How about you don't pre-judge and patronize your customers? So I was originally leaning towards a 3-star review because I did enjoy myself once downstairs. However while the good stuff was enjoyable, it can be found elsewhere. I don't need the craft beer and dancing combo to have a fulfilled life. First impressions stick, so they should've tried to make a good one."
"A basic deli serving cold and hot sandwiches as well as a few other basic dishes. I have always had a good meal here and the kids enjoy the food. They have a decent beer cooler. You can put together a six pack with a reasonable variety for $10.For the quality of the food with the price, I give it the 4 stars. This is not a spot we frequent, but I enjoy coming here."
"Stopped in for lunch. Service was lacking. For such a busy place they really need to schedule more than just one bartender/server.I got the Philly cheesesteak. It was dope. Man got the wings and he liked them."
"Definitely a good quality seafood place for southern Delco. I enjoyed the lobster tail which came in a boil with corn, potatoes, and broccoli. Excellent Cajun seasoning to all of it as well. The meat was decent. Not the best lobster I've ever had but you can't expect that in Delco. It's good enough. I really loved the corn which was sweet with a good combo of the seasoning. Tasted the wings too. They're huge and breaded while packing a decent flavor. I'm a fan now."
