"I visited on an overcast day but I could imagine this spot truly shines in the sunlight. This intimate cozy nook is punctuated by concentrated warm light, brick accents, deep wood tones, blissful tunes, and friendly people. What a win for Spring! I was greeted with a smile and a window display of sweet treats (including an ube cupcake). Everything I ordered arrived hot, fresh, and smelling delicious. The peppermint tea was peppermint tea, the Philly cheesesteak was flavorful. Could the "meat" pass for meat or the "cheese" pass for cheese, no. Does it matter, no. This lighter, flavorful take is a pretty impressive way to consume vegetables and I'm all for it. While the ube cupcake was a little denser than I'd prefer, the frosting was amazing, and I'm excited to try their other varieties. I'm so happy these folks are planted here! Excited to see them continue to blossom!"
"Best Chinese vegan buffet! Everything is super flavorful and fresh even though they do not use garlic or onion in their cooking. Loved the sushi, the tofu, the veggies, and the fresh soy milk."

Visit Restaurant Page"I visited Doshi House for the first time last weekend. I wasn't familiar with this place until my Yelp friend Pree suggested it. I can always count on her to introduce me to vegetarian/vegan places around town. Parking is a tad confusing but we realized you can park in the small lot up front or on the street (there's plenty of street parking). It appears that the lot is also shared with Project Row Houses so read the signs before you park. The inside is cute and cozy. The tables are spaced pretty close together, but there's a good amount of seating inside. There's also a back patio with more seating. I ordered the Just Egg and Potato taco. It was really good. I've never had Just Egg before, but it tasted like regular eggs. The chimichurri was very flavorful and I enjoyed the cilantro and diced onion. I just wish the taco would have been bigger. One taco was $5. I had the Sunset Tonic which was refreshing, especially since it was a warm day. I love coffee, but was in the mood for something different.Doshi House really focuses on community engagement and outreach. They also seem to be a place for artists and creatives. I really enjoyed the vibe!"
"The ramen place has just opened near my boyfriend and I's place and we were excited to trying it! When we got there, we were greeted by a hostess (tall curly hair, think her name is Jacqueline). and seated promptly after notifying her we wanted dine in. She introduced herself and stated she'd be our waiter as well and asked if we could start off with drinks. We both asked for waters for now to start while we looked over the menu. We both were very interested in the spicy miso ramen so we decided to go with that. But Jacqueline mentioned that we could do the combo option which was the appetizer with the ramen for a better price. So we both decided to get an appetizer as well. I got the spicy beef gyoza since I'd never seen it at any ramen restaurant before. My boyfriend got the crispy chicken which was their version of the chicken karaage. It was very good. My only pointer is that the spicy beef gyoza were not really spicy, and they only gave us a tiny dollop of chili paste on the plate. I would recommend giving a small plate of it as optional instead of a dollop. They also only gave a small dollop of mayo on the crispy chicken plate which I think was meant for dipping but I would recommend giving a small bowl of ponzu sauce with the mayo, or a spicy mayo, and a larger amount instead of such a small dollop for 5 pieces that were fairly large. Not enough mayo at all for the crispy chicken so my boyfriend started dipping it in the gyoza sauce. We also decided to order a small bottle of hot sake and a bottle of Asahi beer along with a Kanikama sushi bites. The bites definitely were like their version of a sushi bake. We asked for wasabi which made the dish much better as there's no dipping sauce for it.Our spicy garnets came out after we finished the last sushi bite, just in time! It's surprisingly very delicious and still a rich flavor even though it's vegetable soup based! I'm super glad it's vegetarian friendly! Overall, The ramen was good, I added garlic and corn which was good and they actually gave alot of garlic for each of us where other ramen restaurants would be more stingy about how much garlic we get. Overall, we both agreed we'd definitely come back for the food. Service was also good with Jacqueline as she's very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and being a waitress!Towards the end of the dinner, Jacqueline had cleared our table as we finished up plates which I really love! However, the other waitress who was working, had come by our table and asked if she could take up our water glasses but we hadn't paid yet. Instead I actually asked for more water because they did not refill my water glass the entire meal. After we paid, the waitress (not jacqueline) came back and tried to take up our glasses again but I told her that my boyfriend still had his beer and I still had my sake so she needed to wait and she walked away. It was disappointing that she didn't know that she should wait to clear the remaining glasses from the table AFTER the customer has left. Otherwise it gave the impression that she was trying to rush us out even though there was no one else in the restaurant. I hope she knows now.Overall, great place for large groups, good pricing and service is good! I hope they stay in business for a very long time!"
"I like coming here for lunch because it's not too busy and the food comes out fast. They have a cool lunch special $12.50 which includes an entree & appetizer. I recommend the Avocado tofu rice bowl. They also have vegan ramen and/or you can substitute most of their other ramen bowls to make it vegan. Servers are really nice and well trained. Soft music vibes in the background. Lowtop bar and hightop community table in addition to some booths and outside tables."
"Jody did a great job for my custom GF vegan chocolate bday cake. She can do almost any design and custom makes the cake to whatever you want. You can pick up or get delivered. All of my friends didn't notice it was vegan or GF and devoured it!!! It was so good and the vegan buttercream was awesome Will be coming here for all future cake inquiries and sending all my friends Jody's way!! Excited for a continuous relationship with Jody."
"Wow!! Everything here is delicious and made with love indeed. A small little store that sells raw and dehydrated goods, mostly vegan (some things have honey-- ask!). They let you sample pretty much everything :D They have a good variety of raw cookies, crackers, kale chips, salads, kombucha, raw fudge, raw pies etc. Try the Geez-Its! They are raw dehydrated cheez its made of cashews mostly. OMG they are so addictive and amazing. A little pricey at $8 a bag, but worth the indulgence. They aren't processed crap so they actually fill you up nicely after a few crackers (: When you come for the first time they let you have a free sample of their raw pies. I had the pumpkin pie which was SO good. Then I bought the strawberry cheesecake which was heavenly! All cashew based and amazing. I recommend buying the tiny mini pies because raw desserts can be really filling. They make their own Kombucha for only $3 a bottle! Much cheaper than at a store. The Ginger Pear kombucha is so good. The pieces of raw ginger are still in it!!FYI this is not really a sit down restaurant- just buy things to go!! The service was amazing too. Super-friendly and welcoming staff. Check it out if you are into raw/vegan foods."
"A lot of vegan restaurants are gimmicky, so I often approach these sorts of places with pessimism. But Mantra was a nice change of pace as the menu, while justifiably pricey due to the quality of ingredients used, was tasty and clearly technique-driven. They undoubtedly use the best meat substitutes, and our meal featured some fun surprises. We did visit fairly early in their development, thus while the interior was what I would call urban minimalist, there was a great deal of construction outside that made for a fairly ugly view. There was only one front-of-house employee, but he did a wonderful job explaining everything and serving us. My thoughts on our meal:Coconut Calamari - A dish that blew my mind and is an absolute must if you dine here. The taste is indistinguishable from the squid counterpart, though of course the texture can't quite compare. I wish the pieces were a little on the larger side. K-Seoul Pizza - gluten-free crust with vegan mozzarella, sauteed mushrooms, and a syrupy sauce that was tangy, fruity, and spicy. A fragrant and fresh tasting delight, though part of me wishes it was less saucy. The Lioness - a Lions mane crab cake sandwich of sorts. If you've never had this particular shroom, it's super meaty in texture and really tasty. The flavors were there, but I found the actually patty too thin and the gluten-free bun a tad too chewy. The thick-cut fries were well seasoned and fluffy. Overall, probably would try something else instead of paying $18 for this dish again."
"There's only 4 restaurants in all of Houston that serves 'do chay' or Buddhism vegetarian - this is one of them and the worst of all 4. It used to not be bad but has gone downhill. My favorite from here are family style meals (where you get different entrees and big bowl of rice to share among many family members/friends). My to go are salted fried tofu and Thai style soup. Individual meals has gone downhill. Do not get their fried rice, unless you like mushy rice. Don't bother with their rice plates, vermicelli, or pan fried noodles. Everything is mushy and flavorless. Their vegetarian fish sauce is mainly of sugar and water. Hot tea barely has any tea leaves; you're essentially drinking hot water with a hint of tea. Extremely disappointed how this restaurant has become. It look like they recently tried to update their walls but meh, there's 3 other restaurants. I have noticed these past few months that they're only busy when one of four do chay restaurants are closed. Otherwise, they rarely have customers as before. If you're still willing to give this restaurant a try, just remember you pay at the register when you're done!"
"As versatile and as popular the neighborhood of Montrose is, it has always been limited in the Asian food arena, in particular Vietnamese fare. Enter Lúa Viet, which has quickly become an destination for many folks looking for a modern approach to the cuisine. There's a lot of good things here, so I'll start with some positives::: It's beautiful: The space is probably the most appealing thing, at least to me. It's bright with a lot of contemporary pieces that give off a casual vibe but also a tinge of sophistication. They've done an excellent job with the layout and designed it in a way where it's thoughtful and spacious. Whether it's the outdoor seating, a solo meal, or a group gathering, it's all possible here.:: Vegan / vegetarian options: I may not be vegan, but I appreciate it when there is an extensive list of dishes that are geared to the non-meaty palate. :: The parking lot: parking is a way of life in H-Town and to have a dedicated space with numerous spots is a luxury that is not common in this part of town. And the things I don't love so much::: For the most part, the food was a bust. It didn't speak to me the same way it has for many others and this is after coming here a handful of times and ordering something different each time. There is a certain essence of flavors, from the nuoc mam to the ingredients, and I wasn't getting it the same way that I would in other more traditional places in Bellaire.I was not very excited with their signature Lúa VIet pho ga, or pho bo and was really not feeling their mi xao or hu tieu. I think the bo luc lac was probably the best dish I had in there, but that was just from the tender chunks of meat. The bun vermicelli, cha gio, and many of the plant based versions were bland. I had to go a little harder on the seasoning to get it down.:: The prices. $16 noodle soup bowls? $17 stir fried dishes? I know the rent in the hood is not cheap and the usage of their fresher ingredients might justify the prices but foodflation is not on my side when the food is not my bag.:: Ordering format: I don't mind the somewhat unconventional format of ordering at the front, certainly this format exists in many fast casual places. However, I feel like the staff isn't particularly jazzed to take the order. Two instances felt like my group and I were inconveniencing the staff member for ordering so much. Not a deal breaker but far from a highlight. At the end of the day, I feel they answer a certain demand that exists in this part of town. However, it doesn't really align with my tastebuds or wallet as much as I would like and I hope that changes one day."
"I give it a 9.7 lol only because of the name I assumed it was infused with some type alcohol. Like what!!! No bourbon or anything? Lol ok fine... luckily I have daily sweet tooth and the nut cracker cinnamon roll was perfection!!! Walnuts!!! Pecans!!! Salted caramel Jesus!!!! I did I mention it 100 % VEGAN!!!!!! I'm not a vegan!!!! Plus it was only around $8"
"We came here and we're really excited for the vegan proteins because they have a TON of options. I wish we had eaten there, but it was warm inside and I have 3 kids, so I don't think that would have gone well. It's located inside a grocery store and everybody that works there is really nice. Definitely feels like a hole-in-the-wall, which is never a bad thing to me. The guy who too our order was very patient, kind, and happy to explain things. That being said, we got our food to go and ate after driving for 50 minutes to get home so I'm sure we did not experience the full potential here.Elotes - Texas corn is a hard one for me. It's small, not very juicy, and dry. I'm from Utah and severely miss Utah corn. As they serve it on the cob, I found it lacking flavor. Definitely not on the restaurant on this one but I'd recommend using frozen corn over Texas corn. Street tacos - my husband got a five pack and my toddlers each got one with their asada. Toddlers are picky so their opinion on this one doesn't matter but one of them loved the onions. My husband really enjoyed them a lot too and wants to go back for more. Enchiladas - my son and I shared an order of red enchiladas and an order of green enchiladas. This is where I think it's really unfair to review the food after a long drive. It was very dry. The green wasn't super flavorful but alright. The red was amazing, even after being in the car for almost an hour. I'm really not a fan of proteins in my enchiladas (I usually like cheese only) but the chicken was good! Rice and beans - My toddlers usually really love rice and beans but these were just okay. One of them ate a ton of the rice though and really loved them. It was good but I'm not sure I would seek it out again. I love the idea but the execution needs more space and maybe a comfortable storefront."

I first visited Wisdom a few years ago when I was visiting my family in Houston. This past weekend, my sister and I decided to pay a new visit since we were out and about and in the area. The ambiance is low on the lights but is super cozy with booth seats that make you feel like you are sinking in lol. For my entrée, I went with the "chicken" parm with sweet potato fries. I like that the texture was super crispy on the outside, but I guess there wasn't enough butter or oil or something because everything was falling apart easily. My sister ordered an iced latte which she thoroughly enjoyed, and a spicy "chicken" sandwich which was "just okay". The food was not spectacular, but it was indeed filling. The ladies working that day were super nice too!

This place had some seriously tasty vegan Chinese food! I was impressed and I love that they have a buffet, I will definitely have to try it out next time I come here. The only thing is that the service was well....interesting. But even the sesame chicken was divine and heavenly. I loved their rice noodles too, a great place for a vegan or even those who want to try vegan food to come to!

Doshi House has a cozy vibe and is perfectly situated on the corner of Emancipation and Holman Street, near the Project Row Houses. I met with fellow Houston Yelp Elite Tiffany for a Sunday afternoon get-together. The parking situation was confusing at first, but we were able to confirm that some of the lot right outside Doshi House is for customers, and parking along Homan Street seemed to be okay. Since it was a warm Sunday, I was in the mood for a cold latte. They have a variety of unique drinks and flavors (not just coffee even), but I opted for the "Pistachio" iced, which was primarily composed of pistachio, cardamom, and cane syrup. They have fun pastries like vegan cinnamon rolls, muffins, and dessert bars, but their savory options are limited to tacos. The tacos are all vegan-friendly, which was something I learned only when I got there. Pleasant surprise! For my taco, I got the "Not So Butter Chik'n", which came with seasoned soy protein, a robust vegan butter chick'n sauce, plus cilantro & onion. My only complaint was that the taco was on the "pricey" side looking at how small the taco was, but at least my latte was flavorful and even with the ice, was a full 16oz.I'd love to come back and try some of the other drinks on their menu. I also saw a lot of people working on their laptops, and they offer free wifi, so it is indeed a great place to work and change up the scenery.

Decent Ramen, came here a couple of times ordering the shoyu and tonkatsu and I got to say I really liked their broth but for some reason after I ate it, I did not feel the best. The pork slices were thick but dry. Noodles were good, had a nice bite. For some reason i reallly enjoyed their beef dumplings! Service was okay!

Not much to put. It was a little hidden in all the buildings.Good ramen and good gyoza! Not that cheap but good portions. Not sure I'd go out of my way to go here versus ramen other places. Especially since a lot of the buildings by it are also food or expensive stores. But good nonetheless!Additionally the entire time I was here only Charlie Puth played and idk I just thought it was so funny.

Since going dairy and gluten free due to healthcare recommendations, finding a bakery who specializes in such cakes was a bit of challenge. We found Jody and her cakes did not disappoint! We had her make my 30th birthday cake and she did a phenomenal job with the style and vision I had, in addition to her having wonderful suggestions and helping me create my styled cake. She was such a pleasure to work with, and the cake itself was outstanding and oh so good. She is our baker for life for all future events!

Pat Greer's is one of my favorite places to get lunch, especially when I'm eating as clean as possible. I've never actually been there and have only ordered through UberEats or purchased items at the farmer's market. I usually order the brussels sprouts salad and the buddha bowl. They both come with a dressing but honestly I've never tried them. The food is all delicious on it's own without the dressing in my opinion! If you haven't tried PG, you need to! It'll inspire you to eat healthier...haha!

Definitely feels a little like a ghost kitchen and service was slow. I was hoping that this would be a greens and lettuce type of vegan place but they specialize in many items that are relatively greasy with vegan cheese (pretty much my least favorite vegan thing). So not for me. My husband and bff loved it since they don't mind vegan cheese. Parking looked hard - we ubered. Ambiance is fine - plenty of seating. The plantain fries and jackfruit sandwich was wonderful. That's what I ended up ordering as an anti-vegan-cheeser.
Visit Restaurant Page"Very filling salad bowls! I've been to Farro several times now, and it always hits the spot. My usual order is the Keto Bowl. What stands out to me the most here is the chicken, which they typically give a generous amount of.My only complaint is the price - while you do get a lot of food, it is more expensive than some of the other lunch spots offering similar items in downtown Houston. For how filling it is and the amount of protein included, however, I will continue to be back every once in a while."
"Stopped by because I was craving some Indian food and got excited that they had a lunch buffet! The variety was kind of limited in regards to non vegetarian items. When arriving, another couple had just finished and I was the only one there. Service was super nice nonetheless. Food was good but as others have said, it's not as bold due to perhaps they are trying to cater to a certain crowd. The food wasn't horrible but definitely can use more flavor."
"As a veg head for many years and coming down south, I am alwaysSo sad to not eat the wonderful smelling bbq that is available because it is meat - until I found this all vegan truck in Houston. HFS was it good!!! I mean like I want to lick the box good. I got one meal and then order something different because when you find something this good, you need to try more stuff especially if you are not from around here. The menu is all plant based and so flavorful. The smell made be drool. The staff was friendly and the food came fast and hot. Everything had the perfect amount of heat and flavor. I am hoping to hit this place one more time before heading back home to Ohio. Coolest part was that they were with other food trucks so my meat eating family could get both plant base food and meat."
"This place always serves really fresh & warm food. It stays busy but the wait time isn't outrageous. Ample parking in their lot and across the street. The restaurant is right across from Emancipation Park. Their food definitely makes your soul feel good and guilt free. Lots of options to choose from. Some of my favorite dishes are their BBQ mushrooms, boudain balls, mac, & collard greens. You really can't go wrong with anything here. They also have desserts sometimes as well as smoothies and juices. Kids meals available for the little ones. Staff is always friendly and helpful. There is space to sit indoors as well as outside when it's warmer but it is a small intimate space. Great place overall. 1000 out of 10 recommend if you're in Houston and looking for some quality vegan comfort food."
"The food and service here has been consistent since they first opened. I am always greeted immediately and asked if I need any help. My first visit, one of the staff members showed me how things work. I love the premade rolls and always try something new and packed with flavor. Lately, I've been ordering Poke bowls via the app, which is super user friendly. I love the sushi platters and look forward to having an event so that I can order one!"
"Tonight my daughter and I went and got an order of a burrito and a variety of street tacos. The food was fresh, and tasted excellent.I was impressed with the excellent customer service. We went close to closing and was served with no hesitation and the staff was very kind. The best part of the experience was that today is taco Tuesday and the food was reasonably priced. We will be returning. This is one of the best vegan experiences that I had in a long time. The restaurant was playing music and I just enjoyed the atmosphere."
"I was extremely impressed with the food and the service. I will definitely be back. Fresh taste and excellent flavor combinations."
"In SoCal, there's tons of options for dairy-free, and I was worried I'd have to make a cake myself at home. Thank goodness a place like this exists in Houston! This was exactly what I needed for my little one's 2nd birthday. We got an Chocolate & Vanilla ice cream cake, which is made from a coconut base. It was so pretty and delicious! We've also tried their beanie bars and super muffins. The price is a little up there but the quality is there. With all the food allergies in kids these days, this place is a diamond in the rough. Thank you for existing so our kids and all of those with food allergies can eat what everyone else eats for once / on their birthdays at the very least! I would for sure be back more often if it were closer."
"Small nonsuspecting burger shop in a strip mall on Chimney Rock. Has a pretty vast menu of veggies, black bean, grass fed beef, non GMO-pasture raised chicken burgers. Burgers are made to order with many different options to upgrade your burger with grilled onions, mushrooms, jalapeños and ever CBD!Vegan SwishMushroom: (5/5) I added jalepeno. This was just so well made and fresh! Oh my stars! Even the bun was airy and crispy. the jalepenos added a perfect touch of heat. The impossible burger was made well and could fool me (but I have not eaten a real burger in over 5 years so take that with a grain of salt). Just good! Good good! Reminded me of an old school burger, what burgers are supposed to taste like, fresh. The atmosphere: gives strip mall burger joint. This is NOT, I repeat, this is NOT a luxury sit down restaurant. If you want anything more, please order take out. Service 5/5: they were very very nice. My food came quickly within 10 mins. The patron smiled a lot and asked me several times if I was enjoying my meal. They weren't busy at all so I'm glad they focused their attention on their one dine-in client.CBD option: you have to ADD CBD to your food. They have the option of adding Delta-8. They can add it to burgers as well as the deserts and smoothie. I was a little scared but I got some CBD Baklava... if I have a bad experience I will update my review... if not - know it went well. Will I be back? If I'm in the area SURE!"
"I went on a hunt for vegan desserts near me and iBun popped up. I noticed all the 5 star reviews and decided to give it a chance. Generally, I am a fan of Asian bakeries (red bean anything); however, I was concerned that I would not be able to decipher any of the offerings there because it is located in China Town and I noticed in the pictures much of the wording is in Chinese/Mandarin.Good news though, most of the items have been translated into English. If not, the wonderful staff will take their time to explain to you what it is. I was informed that everything with a "V" on it is actually vegan, woo-hoo!I bought the taro mochi, blueberry jam pastry, and vegan strawberry cake. All of which are marked as vegan.Taro mochi - this was made on the spot for me. It was pretty good. I preferred the filling the most. However, I do not think the mochi had enough time to rest and chill since it was made to order. BVegan strawberry cake - it was frozen when I bought it. The staff recommended I let it thaw for an hour, but that some guests like it frozen because it tastes like ice cream. I tried to consume it frozen but it was inedible. The strawberries were just too hard. After thawing an hour, it was still unpleasant to eat. After several hours, it was now edible. I enjoyed the cream filling, but wished the strawberries were cut smaller. They were just halved. The cake itself is like a shortbread. It really needed more filling or some type of sauce. C+Blueberry jam pastry - I was informed that the blueberry jam is made in-house and this is a popular item. I understand why this item is popular. By far the best item I had that day. It was fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness. I would definitely buy this again. AThe sweet staff also explained to me their lunch boxes and that it is best to call in and order in advance because they are made to order and take about 20 minutes to prepare. The parking lot gets full, so plan accordingly but a great place to get vegan desserts and savory bites as well."
"Only had the panang curry here for lunch but it was good! The curry was thick and had a decent amount of green beans. I wish the portion size were a little larger even for a lunch portion, but all in all delicious. Excellent service as well :)"
"What a grand idea - take a sugary dessert that Americans already love and stack even more sugary toppings on top of it! If this doesn't scream 'Murica and sheds proudful tears from a bald eagle, then I don't know what else would. This isn't our first Cinnaholic experience, so we were well familiar with the process. You can pick a signature cinnamon bun from the menu which comes with a pre-set topping combination, or you can custom make one with whatever you want. We opt for the easier option and chose from the banana foster from the pre-set menu for us to share, and a bakers dozen to bring to an event. Surprisingly, even with little notice, the staff was able to prepare this huge order within minutes (very much appreciated). I still recommend ordering large orders ahead of time. The banana foster is indulging to say the least. The cinnamon bun was warm, soft, and chewy. The frosting was sweet. The banana foster toppings gave it an even more familiar taste. The overall dessert is super sweet, so it'll be a good idea to plan a high energy activity afterwards, or take a long nap, whatever floats your boat!"
"I love this place so much! I come all the time! Omg! I would LIVE in the food truck if I could! I'd highly recommend trying this is the best vegan food in Houston, literally! The best tasting healthiest food options you'll come across by food truck and store front location has nice snack options too! The cooks are nice, staff is professional and the owners are so cute! It's a great vibe wherever you can catch them at! They've fed me consistently this whole pandemic and I'm glad I found this hidden gem because they never let me down! It's a rest way for people who are transitioning to becoming vegan to start off and keep good flavors and texture of food going in their lives!"
"My wife brought me a cookie today from Crumbville that she got at work. Admittedly, I am not a person who likes to eat foods that I am not sure where they came from. She told me the cookie was delicious so I trusted her judgment and took a bite of the butter pecan cookie. It was absolutely amazing. The cookie itself is flavorful and moist. Almost like biting into a mix of a cookie/piece of cake. I love the bits of candy pecans inside of the cookie and I cannot wait to order more delicious treats from this business. Add to that it is black, female owned!I will be going to spend all my money here soon."
"Delicious food and great service! I just finished a satisfying Easter Sunday lunch here that consisted of "chicken" tenders, greens, Mac n cheese, and dirty rice. The tenders where juicy on the inside and nice & crispy on the outside. Dipped them & the Buffalo and special sauces and it couldn't get any better. Even without sauce the tenders were seasoned to perfection. The vegan mac n cheese was also SO good. Tasted very cheesy & creamy. The dirty rice was the perfect texture and seasoned just right with all the right herbs and spices. I can't decide if l liked the Mac n cheese or dirty rice better. The greens were also quite good, with a good balance of sugar, salt & vinegar. Had the hibiscus limeade to wash it all down which was very thirst quenching with just the right amount of sweetness. My friend had the fish (oyster mushroom), Mac n cheese and French toast and loved her food as well. The service was great bc the young lady who helped us was super friendly and took her time to answer any and all questions we had and to make great recommendations. I also found out from her that the Jank sauce owner lives in my hometown. Looking forward to purchasing the sauce so I can try it out the next time I visit my local HEB. Thanks for the delicious Easter Sunday meal Lindiana! I'll be back and will bring my friend with me whenever she's in town. Will also bring others your way as well! Great food, great experience. 5 stars!"
"Great and super friendly service. Must try for unique tacos! All the meats are really good but my favorite is the porky belly! If you ever see this food truck it's a must try."
"Everything you eat here is like touching gold. I have not had a bad dish in the last eight times. I have eaten here. In my opinion! The falafel is to die for. Mike is such a nice manager. He always takes care of us. Jack is the best bartender on the planet and makes the best old-fashioned you'll ever have. The mimosas are outstanding. As are the cucumber martinis. So refreshing on a very hot day. Go try it. You will not be remiss. So let's get this straight. Great location? Great service? Great food? Always a fun time? Rock solid five out of five!"
"This is second time coming to this vegan restaurant! I like the vibe of this place and it reminds me of modern Mexican place due to the paintings and decorations of the restaurant! There are some amazing options available but I like the nachos the best because of the great quantity and quality as well! Price is $11.50 and they give you content amount if you don't get an extra side dish like beans and guacamole as they cost additional $0.50. It's nice place to dine with your family and friends. It depends on their business but they can occupy about 40 people inside and 10 on the outside. Come for those who wanna eat good vegan Mexican foods! Lovely vegan service! :)Cheers"
"Let me start off by saying Houston did not disappoint, This is a ghost kitchen and it is also some amazing sushi not just vegan sushi, but sushi. I suggest you order before you come as this is a ghost kitchen and it does take time to make your food. Our order took about 45 minutes. And I Could care less about the wait time once I ate my sushi, it was all worth it. A lot of love and prep goes into the sushi and I didn't realize how much I miss Sushi until now. The only negative thing I can say is that I didn't make it back here before I left Houston so now I have to wait to have it again. A1 - top tier and five star sushi, fresh, delicate , beautiful, flavorful, intricate, and appetizing. I am going to make this one of my first stops when I get back to Houston. I would have had more pictures but my friends ate their food way too fast . We all thoroughly enjoyed the food. I'll be back so that I can try the entire menu"
"Every item we tried was absolutely delicious! The pot pies were our favorite - so flavorful and stuffed with veggies. The person behind the counter had good knowledge of their products, which is always a help. Products were also labeled well."
"After a few to-go meals here I've come to the conclusion that I'll keep it in periodic rotation. So far only one dish as really got me comin' back, those cauliflower wings, darn good!!OK to GOOD- cauliflower rice, a nice alt for white or brown.- portion sizes vary in my experience.- the food is AT LEAST good overall.NOT SO GOOD- at least 1 dish really laving much to be desired in terms of portion & taste. - ranch for the wings isn't always full."
"OK all I was super impressed about this new location for Cinnaholic! Grand opening day, and I still receive my order timely and correctly with no hiccups. Shout out to all the new employees who have bless this location in the neighborhood because we have all been waiting on it. I stuck with what I know, and got the very berry roll, which came out fresh not undercooked not over cooked the ingredients were fresh, and I am not sure if this is a good thing or not, but I scarfed it down so quickly it was gone before I made it past the light by Amazon. I highly recommend you give them a shot and also put your phone number in for rewards because I have already received a five dollar reward for my next visit. Happy eating!!"
"Vibe- Not going to lie, this spot is in a random strip center that might turn you off (it was a different food spot before and Taste of Tel Aviv is not yet up) but the food is worth it and so is the customer service. From the conversation I had with the guy that took my order, they have been open for a little amount of time. I was very intrigued by the pictures of Israel on the wall. The name of the restaurant has a city in Israel in it, Tel Avia! Customer service- Amazing, the guy that took my order was so nice. Food/drinks- I got the vegan nachos and the falafel starter; they were both full of flavor.Parking- There's about 40 parking spots in the lot."
