Lindiana's Southern Vegan Kitchen

How is this place not ranked in the top 3 vegan restaurants in Houston? For the seriously soulful vegan, this is where you have to go and try these delicious delectables, I have a few names below. First look at the menu, was like I will have one of these one of those and one of those as well. The list could go on, even though this was my first time trying this restaurant. I will say that vibe here is some what informal however the team is super friendly and nice! So my order was comprised of the followingCollard greens : cooked and seasoned wellMac & Cheese : creamy and flavorful Barbecue Wings : battered fried and tossed Boudin rice balls : yummy Fried Catfish : texture and flavor was greatBattered Shrimp: how can these not be realYum Sauce: this can be married to anythingPineapple Lemonade: didn't quite hit the spot, so this was my least flavored itemNevertheless, I refuse to go into the detailed goodness of the each and every dish, because each of these I would eat again and this review would be ridiculously long and because after it's gone, all that I am left with are the unbelievable memories of taste. I have no negative comments on the food whatsoever. The facility is a little dated, however the quality and quantity of what arrives from that kitchen brings you back home. I will definitely be making this a home of mine in my search of Vegan cooking in the area. Please forgive me for almost leaving out the sauce that compliments pretty much anything they cook. Delicious food and great service! I just finished a satisfying Easter Sunday lunch here that consisted of "chicken" tenders, greens, Mac n cheese, and dirty rice. The tenders where juicy on the inside and nice & crispy on the outside. Dipped them & the Buffalo and special sauces and it couldn't get any better. Even without sauce the tenders were seasoned to perfection. The vegan mac n cheese was also SO good. Tasted very cheesy & creamy. The dirty rice was the perfect texture and seasoned just right with all the right herbs and spices. I can't decide if l liked the Mac n cheese or dirty rice better. The greens were also quite good, with a good balance of sugar, salt & vinegar. Had the hibiscus limeade to wash it all down which was very thirst quenching with just the right amount of sweetness. My friend had the fish (oyster mushroom), Mac n cheese and French toast and loved her food as well. The service was great bc the young lady who helped us was super friendly and took her time to answer any and all questions we had and to make great recommendations. I also found out from her that the Jank sauce owner lives in my hometown. Looking forward to purchasing the sauce so I can try it out the next time I visit my local HEB. Thanks for the delicious Easter Sunday meal Lindiana! I'll be back and will bring my friend with me whenever she's in town. Will also bring others your way as well! The lady who took my order was sweet. The two stars is for her!This place wasn't good at all. I hate to even leave this review. I was the first to make my order when they opened I'm not sure why the food wasn't served hot and fresh. My food was old. The greens smelled spoiled and even looked spoiled i didn't take one bite. The mac and cheese was not good one bit no seasoning so bland and greasy with parsley sprinkled on top. It was disappointing i threw the entire meal away... i seriously hate wasting money on food. The dirty rice wasn't dirty rice at all. There was so much waste also with the to go order way too many containers and plastic used. Very wasteful and disappointing!Not only that this is a plant based restaurant, not vegan. The food was served inside another restaurant where people was ordering pork chops and other meats i was totally disgusted. Once i was leaving i heard people ordering and the lady said yes they sell meats and non vegan food. I would've never came here knowing my food was prepared in the same establishment. I go to vegan restaurants expecting them to be 100% vegan. This place isn't it.

I have been rocking with Lindiana's since 2020! They are one of my favorite spots to go to when I need a cheat vegan meal. The people that work there are sweet and they have a new location at 6502 Dixie Rd with plenty of parking and space where you can dine in!!!

Lindiana's Southern Vegan Kitchen is a must try!!!! The food here is out of this world good, while the entire menu is vegan. I was lucky enough to try the oyster mushroom poboy which was packed with so many good flavors, the mushrooms are fried to perfection. The Jack fruit poboy is equally amazing, jackfruit fried perfectly and loaded with flavor. Cauli-nuggets are fried perfectly, the coating is packed with flavorBoudain balls are so amazing! So out to everyone in the kitchen because every item that I had and was fried was done so with such perfection. Collard greens are good great flavor profile.Mac n Chz is out of this world, penne noodles cooked to perfection, for this to be a vegan dish this surprised me so much. Please get the vegan carrot cake for dessert!!! This cake is so good!!!! To top it off Lindiana's has fresh cold pressed juices. I tried the pomegranate with sparkling water and it was soooooo tasty!

2 stars for my previous memory of the good when they were on wheeler. They have relocated quite aways from their previous food truck location. But I made the trek because I remember how good the food was. Well I made that drive for no reason. Very disorganized. The exterior is not properly identify that it is lindianas. It does not properly indicate where to place your order and there is no one to great you. Just a bunch of patrons hanging out outside and inside the restaurant waiting to order?? Any way I ended up leaving after arriving and standing around for 10 mins with no service and someone that came in after me getting their order taken. I sadly will not be back because I value my time and don't wish to drive that distance and recieve poor or non existent service.

This food truck is soooo good and everything is VEGAN! Service is pretty quick, and the guy working is so nice and friendly. Got the jackfruit wings which don't taste anything like jackfruit, and even have the texture of chicken. The chicken sandwich was so delicious, and the fries were cooked perfectly. We also got the mac n cheese which was also pretty good. Will definitely return to try their other menu items! I recommend checking their facebook page for the most up to date information.

The food is so delicious and the downhome burger is ridiculously addicting to eat. there's something about that sweet, tangy, juicy burger that always makes me go back for more. I honestly like their burgers better than the real one! I've been eating here for 2-3 years and i'm not even vegan or vegetarian. The guy at the register is super sweet and we always get our food in a timely manner. The spot is also buy these awesome jewelers that have beautiful pieces. love it here

Tried ordering twice from here on door dash, both times the driver couldn't locate based off the address door dash gave them and we both tried calling on all the numbers we could find on google, Facebook, help s and door dash. No answer or goes straight to a full voicemail I really want to try the food! I'll try again based on all the reviews but be aware that they don't answer and delivery might not happen
