Food is saucy! A new take on vegan BBQ. Defies food cheat meal if you're into that sort of thing. Or a good meal for those who want the meat taste but without the meat weight. You probably won't notice that you're not eating meat until the final bites. ordered online just to arrive all the way there and the cashier discloses that they're out of everything I ordered. They couldn't address the issue due to the site not being updated (?) However the cashier offered me other options and i agreed. I hope this review communicates just how GOOD this food was! I checked out this spot due to its connection with the Houston Sauce Pit (check out my Yelp reviews for HSP). The staff was friendly and informative. They answered my questions and helped me decide what to check out first! I decided on the kamikaze! Imagine freshly fried fries topped with fried cauliflower tossed in a sauce with lettuce, green onions, and a white sauce drizzle (like a ranch sauce). It was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The flavor was there and the amount was massive...so well worth the cost. I also liked the vibe! The outdoor seating (on a weekday during lunch time) was available, spacious, and clean. Now.....I have to admit...it is vegan...what I ordered wasn't entirely THE healthiest. But it was A LOT healthier than what you'd imagine a non-vegan version to be. Places like this make me satisfied to be vegan-ish!

This place is amazing. I'd recently ventured into being more Vegetarian so I'm seeking out places that sell food of the sort. I followed this place on Instagram for a while before actually visiting there. The cauli-wings were so flavorful and the fries were also good and hot! I am a sucker for fries fresh out the skillet. I hate cold fries. I keep missing the days they have the chick'n sandwich (which is vegan). I gave them a 4 because I wish you can buy the cauli-wings without the fries, just by itself, and because I had a lot of just fried batter crumbs under the larger "wings".

I came on a Wednesday for the Philly Cheese but they had ran out by the time I arrived. They weren't too packed, so I was even more excited to try them out. I left the guy taking orders choose my food for me and we went with the Cajun Nachos and the Dirty 3rd wangs. I won't lie, the wangs looked like fried broccoli needless to say I didn't eat them but the flavor of the sauce was really good. The nachos were really good, but maybe a little too sweet for my liking. Not sure what kind of sauce they used but definitely not one I was used too. Overall I'd def try their food again, but wouldn't drive that way just to get something.

I love this place so much! I come all the time! Omg! I would LIVE in the food truck if I could! I'd highly recommend trying this is the best vegan food in Houston, literally! The best tasting healthiest food options you'll come across by food truck and store front location has nice snack options too! The cooks are nice, staff is professional and the owners are so cute! It's a great vibe wherever you can catch them at! They've fed me consistently this whole pandemic and I'm glad I found this hidden gem because they never let me down! It's a rest way for people who are transitioning to becoming vegan to start off and keep good flavors and texture of food going in their lives!

I really wanted to support this place, but as some reviewers said the service can be a little disappointing and the food is pricey. Went here at 1pm on Saturday and immediately saw the "chicken" sandwich for $17. That's really pricey imo. It doesn't even come with a drink. Lemonades are $8! I really wish I knew the prices beforehand bc we drove far. I went on their website and they don't even list prices there nor on their IG. It was hot. The wait was over 30mins. I wish they had a system where customers could wait in their car and they'd text us. I know some food trucks set up umbrellas for their customers. Idk if they let people order ahead but def recommend to skip the 30min wait. Overall, the food is good but not worth drive, $17+tax (ended up being $18.73), & 30min wait in hot degree weather.

First heard of Vegan food truck on Fox 26 Isiah Carey Uncensored. The owner described his Vegan menu and having tasted Vegan food in the past I would have to try at my earliest opportunity. We purchased 3 different entrees. Links. .Brussel sprouts , baked beans. All excellent very tasty of course I was a captive audience having tasted Vega food for over 18 years. Would recommend if you've never tasted Vegan food before be ready to be hooked. Prices were competitive.

sooo houston sauce co & houston sauce pit used to be my go to vegan spots in houston, hands DOWN!! however, on my last visit.. the quality of the food had diminished drastically. the service was friendly, but i used to brag about how good it was and it makes me sad that it has fallen from grace. not to mention the website does not say that the sauce co is closed closed. and i drove to both locations only to find nada. the next time i am houston, i will do better research for my next vegan adventure!
