It's been awhile since I have ordered from here and I did recommend this restaurant to many of my friends who enjoy spicy food. Unfortunately, I left disappointed. I know they're short staff and I know I may have ordered at an odd time (9:30-10ish PM on a weekend) but I'm just disappointed in taste.Forget the price, forget they're short staff, forget the mom and pop interior design... let's just focus on the food quality. Basil fried rice lacked in basil flavor. It's one of the worst basil fried rice I had in an extremely long time. Roti by itself and no soup on the side? This is the only restaurant that does this with no cup of soup. I wasn't expecting a lot but give me something. Otherwise, what's the point of ordering it if I didn't order any curry dishes? Now, my biggest disappointment... chicken pad Thai. Lacked in flavor and had a weird aftertaste. Maybe I didn't noticed it before since it was much spicier. Lacked in spice.Not sure if I will be back.On the bright side, it was simple to just order on the Yelp app and got my food on time.

Ordered pad see ew vegan but at 10pm so maybe this is the reason it wasn't good. I received the order and it was a small order but I am not from Houston so maybe it's possible that this is the size order. I am going with the assumption that since it was 10pm but the broccoli pieces were so small and few, the noodles were stuck together, the tofu was so very salty. This was not good at all. I forgot to take a photo and I normally do but since it was later at night I just threw it away. It wasn't good at all.

Shrimp Pad Thai was not good. When I came the first time and ordered the same dish it tasted really good and fresh. This time around... idk what happened... dreadful experience.

NOTE: This was my first order with this restaurant ever. At 10:49 pm on July 14th, I placed an order (through DoorDash) for a very simple order of Beef Fried Rice. I added a fried egg, pineapple and extra beef.... totaling $20.90 for the fried rice alone. Then I ordered the cheese rolls (basically cream cheese egg/spring rolls that comes with a sauce of some kind. All I revived was the fried rice, and the cream cheese rolls eye actually the first thing I saw that attracted me to this restaurant. It wasn't until after contacting Door Dash support about the missing cheese rolls that I noticed my egg was missing and the fried rice had almost no beef in it all....I paid $3.00 for the extra beef, $2.00 for the pineapple and $1.95 for the egg.DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS RESTAURANT. For what it's worth (because I was very hungry) I did eat the fried rice and it was pretty damn good. But for $20.90 I feel I should've received a bigger portion of rice AND all of my ingredients should've been included. But I'm serious, if I added up all the beef in my fried rice it would've equaled 2 teaspoons, MAYBE. I uploaded pics to the DoorDash review, but they didn't save to my phone.

I was randomly craving some Thai food today so I googled the closet place to be with decent reviews. I was greeted my a lady who I presume to be the owner and she was so sweet. The establishment was very quaint and tidy and there wasn't very many people so you can sit wherever (although I got my food to go)I ordered a combination pad Thai ( chicken, pork and beef) and one chicken egg roll. My pad Thai was level 2 spicy (on their scale of 1-5). I didn't find it spicy at all. I appreciate that the food was hot and fresh but I have to be completely honest, my pad Thai had absolutely no flavor. Like none. When I got home, I legit had to add more salt, chili pepper, seasoning and soy sauce to it to enjoy it. Also my noodles at the bottom of the plate was a bit stuck together. I guess my craving was satisfied enough after I spiced it up a bit.

Only had the panang curry here for lunch but it was good! The curry was thick and had a decent amount of green beans. I wish the portion size were a little larger even for a lunch portion, but all in all delicious. Excellent service as well :)

I've never eaten Thai cuisine before. Its Incredibly delicious. My favorite entree are any Fried Rice with a Fried Egg on top. Scond pick would be either, Yellow Curry or a Tom Kha Soup. My wife and I dine in all the time now. Its a quaint and quiet dinner with family friendly service tucked off, South Dairy Ashford, careful not to pass it though.

To be honest I've never dined in before because I usually order for lunch and rushing or order delivery. However, they're one of the better Thai restaurants on this side of town. Consistency (spice level and flavors) is what keeps me as a regular. Highly recommend the pad see ew, pad thai, and tom kha gai!
