"Parking is valet only ...enter a narrow driveway before Drip car wash. $10 valet cash. Upon entering, you can smell the hookah and the delicious food wafting through the restaurant. We sat in the roomy back patio with partial roof and heaters. Service was awesome, fast and friendly. My friend had a hookah. We had our kids but we sat on the patio so it was ok. We ordered the cheese pita bread (cheese pizza) , baba ganoush, and a mixed meat platter. Everything was delicious. Definitely love the food. Especially the garlic sauce. Didn't like the only valet option."

"Found this place through IG and of course bookmarked it so when I was in this side could give it a go, and I'm sure glad I did! I love Mediterranean food and all the photos looked great and the atmosphere as well, so I looped my coworkers together and off we went!When we pulled up the outside of the building was beautiful and inviting. We walked in and their was a small bakery counter to the left with a brick oven in the back as well. We were greeted promptly and were able to choose where we wanted to sit. Lots of space indoors and outdoors and also has a private dining space that you can have private parties in. I love that there was so much space to spread out, and plugs in Al the walls so should you hang out for a work day, you're plugged in and good to go. This place seems very authentic in my opinion, lots of hookah around as well, and all the food looked amazing it was so hard to decide!I got the samosas (half and half) as I couldn't decide which I wanted. I liked them both but prefer the beef! Also I ordered the chicken Schwarma with fries and it was absolutely delicious with the garlic sauce that comes with it. You can sub out your fries for a salad! Everything that came out look phenomenal, I wasn't able to finish all my food, so it was nice to have something for later on. The one thing I would say that would be helpful to know is water came out in a bottle so you're charged $3 for that and then gratuity is added in already as well. I definitely intend to come back and enjoy this delicious food! Our waiter was super nice and attentive so I appreciate how kind everyone was during our visit."

"Glad to have a hookah and chill spot where I can smoke and sip on a beverage. The atmosphere is relaxing whether indoors or outside in the tented/covered area. It's a bit close to my residence and has converted me to being somewhat of a regular here whenever I'm in the mood for hookah. My go-to is that watermelon mint; never fails. Pair it with a glass of red and perhaps some hot tea and I'm as sound as a pound.Haven't tried much of the food although the hummus is a classic appetizer with the oil and spices mixed in. I will need to try the dishes such as the schwarma and falafel as the other reviews are talking them up. As for drinks, they have a full bar with a surprising elegant wine selection. Other hookah drinks such as hot tea and lebanese coffee can be had too.I've received nothing but warm welcome from the staff when I arrive which is another reason I enjoy frequenting this place. Just grab a spot somewhere outside, get your hookah, sip your drink, and enjoy life!"

"During Ramadan, Layal offers dinner buffet during the period. This is true for other Mediterranean/Lebanese restaurants as well. I've had the opportunity to try a few places last year. You get to try a lot of the dishes in one seating!We went on the first day of the buffet and were first in line as well. It was not crowded but definitely have a few hungry folks like us. If you are not familiar with the custom, you wait for sunset before you can start eating. Start with the sweet dried date provided on the table. Arrive a few minutes before sunset as there may be a line waiting to get their food.There was a ton of food to choose from... soups, salads, kafta, seafood (shrimp mussels, fish), roast beef, chicken and lamb. My favorites were the roast beef, creamy chicken with pasta, seafood with rice and lamb shank. Yum! There were also different drinks included... one was orange, not sure what the rest were. They were all tasty and sweet. They also have different desserts... the best were the mini cheesecakes and mini crepe rolls.We sat in the open air area. They were a few folks smoking hookah. Nothing like cigarette smoke. Didn't mind the smell.Place has indoor and outdoor seating. Multiple TVs on the walls. Staff was friendly and came to check on us a couple of times. Coffee and tea is not included in the buffet. Recommend checking it out. Tip: Do not go late as the buffet is not an all nighter. Go before sunset. Enjoy!"

"Date night and I wanted to try out hookah for the first time.Open pretty late, we came here after drinks at Woosters. My date ordered the mixed grill kabob and a hot tea, He really liked it. We got a strawberry hookah and it was pretty cool. It does taste like strawberry. It was nice. They had live music the night we came and the singer had a very good voice. He sang in his native tongue and I enjoyed seeing the customers clap and dance. The majority of the customers were men. We were the only non Middle Easterners there. I'll probably go to a hookah joint again but somewhere more diverse. Cool place though. Very reasonable prices."

I typically don't kick it during the week because I'm up so darn early for work, but BA-BAY when I say this Wednesday nite adventure to Nomad was worth it, it was ABSOLUTELY worth it! 1)BYOB. Enough said. (Yeah it's like a $12 charge per person; however, you can drink what you want. 2)The atmosphere was very nice. It's a perfect "I'm sick of my job for today" vibe. Just kidding. It's a great spot to unwind after work or chill just because. Old couches. Not the typical bar and lounge. 3) Service was pretty decent. It was definitely prompt.4. That GOT DAWGGONE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Listen... you owe it to yourself to get those NOMAD SHRIMP. I'd eat that ish even if I had a damn seafood allergy because they were that damn good. "TLDR: WOW. This place is amazing. I don't know why the reviews are so negative. This is my new go to spot for hookah, replacing MidTown's Cafe Layal. The food is amazing! The hookah is more packed in flavor! The ambience is very casual and chill, which is refreshing from the drunkards, the hipsters, the loud crowd coming into Cafe Layal.Food: -Beef Gyro Platter with two sides, Tabouli and Rice (5/5): the beef gyro was soft and tender and packed with salt and gyro flavor between two soft home cooked pita bread (hint of garlic). Definitely a must to try if you're in the mood for beef gyro. The rice is definitely flavored and perfect texture (not too soggy and not too dry). Tabouli is a weird kale mix salad with oil and something tarty but it was refreshing and healthy to balance the fats and saltiness of the beef and the rice. -Chicken Schwarma: (3/5) So the problem with getting chicken at most restaurants is overcooking, which leaves a dried and tough chicken. I am dissappointed but didn't expect much out of the chicken entree BUT this is very common in most restaurants-Fries (4/5): Seasoned cut potato fries. Hard to mess up and pretty dang good. Every one has their own preference and this fits me well-Ultimate Berry Smoothie (5/5): Worth the $6 for this fruit smoothie. Very refreshing smoothie. It is a blend of tart from the berries and sweetness from the other fruits. If you are expecting a sugar drink, this is not for you. This is real fruits and fruits are tarty. Ambience: (5/5) Easy to find parking compared to MidTown's hell. However, it starts getting crowded around 9pm-ish so parking will start becoming a problem. But let me tell you about the venue.IT IS AMAZING. They have an over wrapping outsideporch that is extremely spacious to house pretty much the same amount of people inside. It is similar to Axel Rad's outside experience but with hookah. The mood is great. You don't have to fight for tables. You don't have to reansomly walk up to an adjacent customer and awkwardly ask for a chair or be bothered to say "Sure". A lot of kids come here and they have fun and scream. If you're not into that, then this isn't the family fun environment for you. Hookah (5/5): I am no expertise in hookah. -blueberry mint tastes like a blueberry poptart. Stronger flavor compared to Layal's-lemon mint: classic lemon and mint flavoring -will try more later and updateI did not review and revise to save time."

"I truthfully had no idea about this hookah spot until just recently. This place used to be a Chrrascos if I remember correctly. While hookah is expensive wherever you go, their regular hookah is moderately priced. $14.99!We ordered their steak wrap with salad and chicken shwarma loaded fries. THE LOADED FRIES ARE HANDS DOWN THE BEST. Highly recommended. Hookah is pretty good. It would rate a 3.5/5. I recommend this spot on a friday evening. There aren't too many people and will not have to deal with overcrowded sitting areas. Unlike Parkers and LA Pasha, you don't have to wait in line to be seated. Another huge plus is that they actually have self parking and their own parking lot! Finally, no vallet! Not to mention, they have a great outdoor area and a pretty chic lounge inside with couches."

"Stopped in here a second time since they moved locations, and I must say I was a little disappointed! For starters, the place has a lot of potential for a cool vibe and chill spot, but a few things could be tweaked. I met a friend up here thinking we could chill and catch up over a few things but that was definitely not going to happen. The music was so loud you can barely hear your thoughts, and for some ungodly reason they had a drummer playing with the DJ who was offbeat and out of sync. Just-ODD. I wondered if they were trying to give him practice but that was the wrong place to do so.As far as the drinks...well let's just say one is not enough. Someone told me the drinks have wine in them instead of any heavy alcohol. If that's the case that is highly disappointing, but makes sense because I felt-NO-buzz after one drink- neither did my friend. Now keep in mind there are a few of these frozen daiquiri joints that have popped up around here, and my experience with the drinks was much different. The noise level is the same, but the drinks were stronger. Another let down was that they did not have any food. They were dependent on a food truck who of course arrived fashionably late.On a good note, love the decor and the customer service was great. The drink "types" were nice, just need to add a little strength to them. Hopefully they will prevail past these issues and improve."

The portions here are huge. I think the plates should be a little bigger bc cutting your meat and eating was a little messy with the rice spilling off the side. The tea was very strong and delicious. The restaurant itself was beautiful with patterned tables and chairs and pillows. They also offer hookah here and have a stage in the back for live music/performances. Can't wait to come back!"

"Was in Houston on business and unfortunately the hotel was not super close to any restaurants worth while and I had. I car so decided to take a Chance an order to go. Ordered with the app on yelp which was super easy and gave me status on when order was received and when it was on its way to be delivered. Food was carefully contained and was still hot upon arrival. The chicken was very tender and has the right amount of spice on a layer of tasty rice. The hummus as a side was super tasty ( probably some of the best Ive had. The bread was large and I ordered 2 as I thought hey would be smaller however it was coated in sesame seeds and had a strange flavor. Not bad but certainly could not compare to some other Lebanese bread I've had from another Mediterranean restaurants. The baklava I ordered was flaky and soft not too crunchy and had a very good flavor.Overall very pleased with his find - if your in the mood for Mediterranean then this will not disappoint."

However, we found a spot by doing an Internet search and called to make sure they were open. We made our way to the location which is in shopping strip in thr Channelview area. The windows are pretty tinted so we were unsure of what to expect when we walked in. To our surprise, it was a really nice place. The color scheme was to my preference for personal reasons. As of now, they can only serve drinks to-go as of July 2020.The owner greeted us and helped us figure out the menu which I thought was quite helpful and gave me a positive impression. We made our way to the window, placed our orders for a "booty call" and "paradise", and our drinks arrived to the counter within a couple of minutes. I have this disdain for wine based daiquiris due to being from New Orleans. However, I know Houston has certain laws and businesses must abide if they want to remain open. However, I could not taste the wine-like aftertaste in my daiquiri. I don't know if the flavor combination of strawberry, rita, and peach was just right or if it was something else that kept it from tasting like frozen wine. I was in awe and I'm still trying to figure it out. My daiquiri had a kick to it, but it didn't leave me wobbling and I don't feel like I will have a headache in a couple of hours. It was just the perfect blend of sweet and tart. My husband enjoyed his daquiri as well. He said we found our new Friday evening spot. I look forward to returning."

"Well I am excited to be the first to write a review on this BO establishment. I am not sure why the Northside getting all the good establishments within a 2 mile radius from each other, but so far all of them have been worth the drive and this one was no different. I'll start with the reservations, they use Google reserve and it was easy peasy. The parking was plentiful. When we walked in were greeted by someone opening the door for us and by the hostess. I will warn you, that if hookah smoke irks your soul, this is not the spot for you at night. You may want to go in the daytime. But we were totally okay with it. It gives the vibes of hookah/sports bar/resturant. The music was was good. We were sat right away even with me forgetting to tell them I reserved seats. The customer service was AMAZING. I never had so many people check on me. The mangers checked on us throughout the night. They genuinely cared what we thought of everything. Our hostess Kiara was on point. She made great recommendations and provided awesome service.Now to the food! So the menu is limited, but they have all the staples you would usually see at a BO resturant. We started with the seafood eggrolls. They were soo good! We tried to be bouji and eat them with a fork but we let our inner hood out and picked them thanks up! Lol! So it was entree time. From the tik tok videos we already knew we wanted the Decky which is the stuffed fish...but what we didn't know is that it was 42.00!!! So after alot of prayer we decided to split the dish and add some wings since everybody there looked like they had wings. The fish was awesome. The wings were great too and you get alot of them. If I had to give a small bit of criticism it would be to make sure the rice under the fish is smoking hot like the fish. All of the other food came out smoking! The drinks were good too. The sidecar was on point and I loved the taste of the martini. I believe they open around 5pm and close at 2am. They open earlier on Sundays for brunch. Come conformable, dress code is not strict. This spot is definitely worth a revisit when I happen to be rolling through the nawf!"

"Look. I had an absolute blast. Much thanks to my late night yelp buddy Austin J. When I walked in a little after 11pm there were a few seats at the bar. Nice seats with backs!! But what is that DJ playing? Hard core hip hop and 90% of the crowd was 30s with a few others older/younger in between. I was going to leave after one drink but then the DJ obviously got a clue and realized his crowd was older. He played a few old school hip hop sets then switch to reggae which was cool. So people actually got up and danced. He finally kind of got it. Free buffet from 5-9pm on Friday with half price drinks. Buffet was still out when I got there. Ice cold but free so no complaint. Probably 6 to 8 food items. Bartenders were surprisingly friendly and the drinks were strong. After two mixed drinks and a beer I was done. And how about another place where people dance. It was great to see. The DJ needs to work on his thing. He was switching songs as soon as the crowd got into it, he would switch from hip hop to freaking Latino music. Wtf! He dont know how to mix music at all. Small patio out front. Once it catches on, it is going to be packed. I did not care for the hookah inside. Take that ish outdoors please. But looks like this place will be a good time. Come now while it's not too crowded"

I believe it was Abrim (apology if name is misspelled ir wrong) our first time visit great. Free parking is always a plus for me. I'm always on Richmond somewhere so it's good to have a Mediterranean lounge close to home. They do offer a view games to play as well as video games for those that like to play. I didn't try the food because we were just leaving brunch. They have only been open for a little over a week after talking to him I love his vision for his business and his customers."
