"I love the concept of Mexican south Asian fusion. Pretty genius if you ask me so I was super excited to get down with the food fusion.A few things to note, the actual space is not very big but has some cool graffiti art on one of the walls. The bathroom can definitely use some upgrading and general cleaning. Nothing I hate more than using a dirt bathroom and then having no soap to wash your hands... pretty gross They have canned and bottled drinks for purchase and no alcohol is sold in the establishment.I was very unimpressed with the street corn, I actually threw it away. Tasted like canned corn with some Mayo and some weak sriracha sauce . I also did not care for the samosa chaat, the mix of chutney with the potato gravy and chick peas with the samosa didn't work for me.Positive notes: I did like the tacos, loved the paratha. It was a nice change from the normal tortilla. The turban taco had great flavor with the braised beef and cabbage. The wrapchic is made with chicken tikka masala which had some great flavor."

"I can't believe that I've been here so many times and never left a review! The French Fry House is an eastside staple. Loaded fries done right.The fries are kinda perfect. A balance of firm enough to hold up to the bevy of toppings, and still able to bend and be shoved in your mouth. It actually is rocket science and they've figured it out. I've had the Big Tex, the lemon pepper, the boudin eggrolls, and everything has been amazing. What I love the most, is that the fries aren't mealy the next day. I can pop my food in the toaster oven and they are still good! Errybody can't say that."

"They are on it. I haven't been to this new location on Antoine from their old location on Pinemont that I'm familiar with until now.. they seem to still have good burgers. They brought back their old classics from their old location. Thank you!My favorite is the Juicy Lucy but its tricky so they had to add extra Blue Cheese to make it right since it wasn't ingrown like previous versions. Regardless, I really like their new location and locals seem to like it too so I'd say when your in the area, go for it! The Cashier did a good job helping. Thumbs up!"

"I returned here for the first time in about 4 years recently. Cliff's is a popular neighborhood burger joint that has a small outside patio in front along with an attractively decorated Houston themed indoor dining room. There is a very large menu board that offers handhelds, loaded potatoes, some platter meals, side dishes and milkshakes. They don't serve breakfast anymore.I tried the famous fish sandwich ($12.95) and made it a combo meal ($5.95) for a total of $20 and change with tax. I wasn't impressed at all. The fish sandwich was uninspiring in both size and appearance and tasted as being cooked in old oil. Ditto on the fries. Guys, change out your grease! This meal was a 2 at best.I was going to write my review on just that visit but decided to give them one more chance returning about a month later. This time, I went with the hamburger ($11.25) and made it a combo for another $5.95. With tax the cost was just under $20. This meal was much better. The 8 oz. beef patty on the large dressed bun tasted good and satisfying. The fresh cut fries were golden brown and had a lot of potato flavor. It was a good tasting meal (4). There are two reasons I am giving a 3 overall score. The first meal was bad tasting using the old oil. The second reason is the unposted practice of adding 3.5% to all credit card payments. Posted prices on the menu board are already high but then adding 3.5% and not telling you about it is a sin in my opinion. I hate it when restaurants do this. So don't do it. Just charge one price for cash and credit. Even had you told me about the surcharge both times I still wouldn't like it.For that reason, I probably won't return."

The custard is only good by Houston standards. If you compare it to Rita's, which is an import from Philadelphia, or perhaps compare it to some of the best ones of the Midwest and the Northeast, then it would probably be scoring a two or three, but just by Houston standards I'll give it a four. For the burgers it's more like a two or three."

You're buying essentially fast food essentially made from the innards and sh** of cows that are injected with growth hormones and chemicals from day one. But hey. Got to be afraid of germs all the time."

"This was my 2nd time visiting Houston but 1st time in this eatery. Its a Black owned business. The customer service was prompt it was professional but also very laid-back. The chef, took the time to come introduce himself and give my sister and I a good rundown of the establishment. Everything was clean, neat and inviting, I would bring kids, like the entire family. There is something for everyone on the menu. N they have daily specials. Just look at my pics and videos, wouldn't you say its mouth watering?? Yup, absolutely delicious. N it tasted gud later that evening. After a day full of activities, I finished off my leftovers, and yup.. still yummy"

They did have these three different sauces you could try and I must say all three were good. I got some in small containers to dip my fries in. Not bad but also not anything too out the box. "Being from New Orleans, I really like eating establishments located inside of gas stations. You even have places to sit inside the gas station and eat. I am giving this place 5 stars based on location and the amazing variety of food. They have an entire menu dedicated to the keto lifestyle. That keto menu is what drew me to the place. Granted after arriving, I wanted to try the huge variety of flaming hot cheetos menu items, but that's definitely not keto! They even tempted me with an entire side of the menu dedicated to buffalo style...I like it here...They mastered the cheese shell for the burrito and quesadilla. The burrito has lots of goodies...but I need to research if tomatoes are keto friendly. Anywho...I ate it all!All in all, this is a place to visit ESPECIALLY if you want someone else to fix you a keto meal. I'll be back to try several of the non keto dishes."

I then went on to look at the rest of the dish and the avocado was okay, the tomato was okay, but the beef was tough and dry and the masa was fried and oily. It's okay that the masa was fried but it was oily. If it wasn't oily it would be pretty good.My My boyfriend took one look at it and it went straight in the garbage. I wouldn't even feed that beef to the feral cats in my community. Wow, I had a taste for sopes and a big bummer that this one was so bad.1 star for decent avocado, tomato, and the sodas we received were cold."

Dodo's is a casual place where you order at the counter. While you get your order fairly fast and considered fast food, it's fresh."

"I've been coming to Smashburger fairly regularly ever since we had a YEE on another part of town.I greatly appreciate their offering Brussel sprouts as a side in addition to fries and tots. Darn good very well seasoned Brussel sprouts at that. They also have a great variety of burgers that you can get bunless and with beef or turkey. They also have chicken sandwiches that look pretty good. I'm pretty much stuck on the mushroom swiss burger. That with the Brussel sprouts (chef's kiss) and my belly is full and glucose is in a healthy non-diabetic or prediabetic range in the end. :)This Smashburger is a little ways away from my home and towards the more congested area of Pearland but I appreciate it isn't too far from where I live. I also dined in once and the young staff was courteous, respectful and helpful."

"My son and I stopped in here after a day of shopping at the outlets nearby. We wanted something quick but also new to us. We don't have any Zaxby's on our side of town, so we decided to try it out. The place was empty and kind of dirty. The floors were dirty and there were not many clean tables to choose from. The staff was friendly. We both decided on the boneless wings and tenders combo. You can't really go wrong with that right? It ended up being a solid meal, nothing mind blowing by any means. We also got an order of white cheddar cheese curds to share. These tasted pretty strange and we couldn't really put our finger on what cheese flavor we were tasting. Overall, our tummies were full, but there was nothing that would make us seek out another Zaxby's in the future."

I ordered a club sandwich with ham, Turkey, provolone cheese, lettuce and tomato. They gave me a good serving of mayo too. I ordered a regular but could have gotten away with a mini. I did not want the bacon on it. I also grabbed a bag of salt & vinegar chips to put in my sandwich. The white bread is soft and a bit crunchy. It tastes good, delicious.I have dinner for two days.
