"I love the concept of Mexican south Asian fusion. Pretty genius if you ask me so I was super excited to get down with the food fusion.A few things to note, the actual space is not very big but has some cool graffiti art on one of the walls. The bathroom can definitely use some upgrading and general cleaning. Nothing I hate more than using a dirt bathroom and then having no soap to wash your hands... pretty gross They have canned and bottled drinks for purchase and no alcohol is sold in the establishment.I was very unimpressed with the street corn, I actually threw it away. Tasted like canned corn with some Mayo and some weak sriracha sauce . I also did not care for the samosa chaat, the mix of chutney with the potato gravy and chick peas with the samosa didn't work for me.Positive notes: I did like the tacos, loved the paratha. It was a nice change from the normal tortilla. The turban taco had great flavor with the braised beef and cabbage. The wrapchic is made with chicken tikka masala which had some great flavor."
"I can't believe that I've been here so many times and never left a review! The French Fry House is an eastside staple. Loaded fries done right. The fries are kinda perfect. A balance of firm enough to hold up to the bevy of toppings, and still able to bend and be shoved in your mouth. It actually is rocket science and they've figured it out. I've had the Big Tex, the lemon pepper, the boudin eggrolls, and everything has been amazing. What I love the most, is that the fries aren't mealy the next day. I can pop my food in the toaster oven and they are still good! Errybody can't say that."

"They are on it. I haven't been to this new location on Antoine from their old location on Pinemont that I'm familiar with until now.. they seem to still have good burgers. They brought back their old classics from their old location. Thank you!My favorite is the Juicy Lucy but its tricky so they had to add extra Blue Cheese to make it right since it wasn't ingrown like previous versions. Regardless, I really like their new location and locals seem to like it too so I'd say when your in the area, go for it! The Cashier did a good job helping. Thumbs up!"
"Seriously good chili. Mine had beans and cheese (ordered that way). By the end of the bowl, my lips were burning slightly, so there is a little kick. I also had several French fries from my hubby's plate (they were very good too). I think he ordered the Spanish fries (I hope that's what they were named).Service was friendly and fast. We had seven in our group, and they easily put two tables together for us."
"Food is a 4+, location/ambiance leave something to be desired. Burgers are huge and clearly hand-shaped in house; really flavorful and filling. We came on a Saturday around noon and there was no wait; food was out in less than 10 min. They have tons of burger and chicken sandwich options, so most anyone should be able to find something to their liking. Friendly staff, generally pretty clean, sparse space."
"I've been here a few times and have always had a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly & helpful. The restaurant is small but very clean and the burgers are amazing! Fresh veggies are always used and the burgers are cooked when ordered. No big restaurant frills just good burgers, fries and service."
"I returned here for the first time in about 4 years recently. Cliff's is a popular neighborhood burger joint that has a small outside patio in front along with an attractively decorated Houston themed indoor dining room. There is a very large menu board that offers handhelds, loaded potatoes, some platter meals, side dishes and milkshakes. They don't serve breakfast anymore.I tried the famous fish sandwich ($12.95) and made it a combo meal ($5.95) for a total of $20 and change with tax. I wasn't impressed at all. The fish sandwich was uninspiring in both size and appearance and tasted as being cooked in old oil. Ditto on the fries. Guys, change out your grease! This meal was a 2 at best.I was going to write my review on just that visit but decided to give them one more chance returning about a month later. This time, I went with the hamburger ($11.25) and made it a combo for another $5.95. With tax the cost was just under $20. This meal was much better. The 8 oz. beef patty on the large dressed bun tasted good and satisfying. The fresh cut fries were golden brown and had a lot of potato flavor. It was a good tasting meal (4). There are two reasons I am giving a 3 overall score. The first meal was bad tasting using the old oil. The second reason is the unposted practice of adding 3.5% to all credit card payments. Posted prices on the menu board are already high but then adding 3.5% and not telling you about it is a sin in my opinion. I hate it when restaurants do this. So don't do it. Just charge one price for cash and credit. Even had you told me about the surcharge both times I still wouldn't like it.For that reason, I probably won't return."
"Are you reddys for some Freddys?Custard isn't good in Texas. So it's nice to be able to get some, albeit average, custard here.Very nice custard, but very standard burgers. The custard is only good by Houston standards. If you compare it to Rita's, which is an import from Philadelphia, or perhaps compare it to some of the best ones of the Midwest and the Northeast, then it would probably be scoring a two or three, but just by Houston standards I'll give it a four. For the burgers it's more like a two or three."
"Not to mention "Working Class Gyro" by John Lemon-potatoes and the even more poignant, meaningful protest song "Gyros In A Half-Pita" by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. What to get: A Gyro, DUH.Well I'm jumping on the bandwagon I wrote a Gyro song, which I wrote with Bonnie Tyler in mind. Here it is.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7f_HsjpSVaI"Holding Out For A Gyro"Original Lyrics:azlyrics.com/lyrics/bonn...Where have all the Greek men goneAnd where are all the Gods?Where's the meat-wise HerculesTo knead the rising dough?Isn't there some white sauce upon some fiery meat?Late at night I toss and I turn and I dream of what I needI need a Gyro!I'm holding out for a Gyro 'til the end of the nightIt's gotta be hotAnd he's gotta be bigAnd he's gotta be fresh and done right!I need a GyroI'm holding out for a Gyro 'til the morning lightIt's gotta be goodAnd it's gotta be soonAnd it's gotta be larger than lifeHouston has a lot of good Gyros and this is one of them. I love the place, the prices aren't bad, taste is good, service is okay or good sometimes. Even if I was going to lower them to 4 stars - which I wasn't - I'd raise them because of the annoying "unsanitary" reviews. People are so squeamish. You live on planet earth. You're buying essentially fast food essentially made from the innards and sh** of cows that are injected with growth hormones and chemicals from day one. But hey. Got to be afraid of germs all the time."
"This was my 2nd time visiting Houston but 1st time in this eatery. Its a Black owned business. The customer service was prompt it was professional but also very laid-back. The chef, took the time to come introduce himself and give my sister and I a good rundown of the establishment. Everything was clean, neat and inviting, I would bring kids, like the entire family. There is something for everyone on the menu. N they have daily specials. Just look at my pics and videos, wouldn't you say its mouth watering?? Yup, absolutely delicious. N it tasted gud later that evening. After a day full of activities, I finished off my leftovers, and yup.. still yummy"
"This was nice and clean. Made me think of an upgraded Whataburger kind of. Had a nice playground for kids and nice indoor/outdoor eating area. They also had a hand wash and recycling station on the outer eating area which I thought was really thoughtful. I'd come again. They did have these three different sauces you could try and I must say all three were good. I got some in small containers to dip my fries in. Not bad but also not anything too out the box. It's solid go to burger spot and clean."

I know people who love going here. I did try the food and it's a cool concept. I don't think anything was bad and the chaat was good. I think I just like more traditional Asian food. People there were very friendly. My neighbor loves the food, the burgers especially.

This place never disappoints. It's always a great feeling when the quality of your favorite place is consistent. Haven't been here in over a year and I'm glad to know they are still dishing out very good food. There is nothing bad I can say about this place.

After 2 days of deliberation and consoling with trusted adversaries, I must say that this "lil burger barn" is/has top tier burgers I being a once burger addict can say that it is good that it is just far enough away from where I live but close enough to where I work. Even though I had the chipotle burger and I'm not a fan of the chipotle sauce (it's too tangy)...THE BURGER ITSELF IS DIVINE the tastiness/toastiness of the bun is a new one for me and it sets itself apart from other burger or standalone shops. I'll be back to try everything Oh yea I love the regular fries hopefully they have the sweet potato ones next venture. One more thing the price is reasonable for the family.

This restaurant is in a strip mall which is part of a larger mall. This will always be ample parking.I ordered a single hamburger. It was not really worth over $4.00. It had flavor but the bun was very greasy.I also ordered a half order of Spanish fries. The fries were tasty, the onions were good but the jalapeños had little flavor.I also had a small order of Cole slaw. That did taste good. The waitress was efficient. The place was clean. The rest of my group all had chili and they were very happy with it.A meal for seven with only 4 drinks was over $100 so this place is not exactly cheap.

Really enjoyed my burger here! This place is a hidden gem - it's hard to see because its attached to a gas station. I only found it because I was looking on Yelp for a burger, and Yelp didn't disappoint! After looking at the menu, I decided to get the kids cheese burger because it came with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. It may not look that great but I loved the burger! The bun was my favorite part I think. It was a hearty bun - thick bread that tasted fresh. And the kids size was really like a regular burger to me. The fries were hearty - thick cut fries that were hot and not too much seasoning if at all, but I actually like that because I'm trying to cut back on sodium. The price wasn't bad either for a kids meal. I think I spent under $8, and I'm always looking for a bargain. Thank you Hippo Burger!

Cliffffffs! My favorite burger place! Literally everything here is so good. Their baked potato's will fill you up for days and I love that they're so personable. Their fries are way better when you dine in but I think that's true of any place if you like crispy fries because of the way they travel to you. Also! You must. Try. Their peanut butter shake! It's the best shake I've ever had

"Being from New Orleans, I really like eating establishments located inside of gas stations. You even have places to sit inside the gas station and eat. I am giving this place 5 stars based on location and the amazing variety of food. They have an entire menu dedicated to the keto lifestyle. That keto menu is what drew me to the place. Granted after arriving, I wanted to try the huge variety of flaming hot cheetos menu items, but that's definitely not keto! They even tempted me with an entire side of the menu dedicated to buffalo style...I like it here...They mastered the cheese shell for the burrito and quesadilla. The burrito has lots of goodies...but I need to research if tomatoes are keto friendly. Anywho...I ate it all!All in all, this is a place to visit ESPECIALLY if you want someone else to fix you a keto meal. I'll be back to try several of the non keto dishes."
"Great burgers. Whenever I am in Houston I make it a point to eat at Sara's. Very friendly"
"consistent cheeseburger and fries. the flavor is delicious. short wait times for ordering and for food. attentive staff."
"Hey. Why did you all give a customer a sope de res with brown wilted lettuce and tough and dry ground beef?I was looking forward to the sope because I so love them. It was really a bummer to open the container and the first thing I'm hit with is wilted lettuce. That's pretty gross. I then went on to look at the rest of the dish and the avocado was okay, the tomato was okay, but the beef was tough and dry and the masa was fried and oily. It's okay that the masa was fried but it was oily. If it wasn't oily it would be pretty good.My My boyfriend took one look at it and it went straight in the garbage. I wouldn't even feed that beef to the feral cats in my community. Wow, I had a taste for sopes and a big bummer that this one was so bad.1 star for decent avocado, tomato, and the sodas we received were cold."
"#ThankYouThursdayThanks Dodo's for having hand sanitizer, blocking off some seats, and having plexi glass between you and the customers. The beans and rice and chicken were delicious. I wish you had a less expensive lunch special. The quarter chicken with sides is $9. The outdoor seating was relaxing with a breeze coming through. The lunch special comes with chicken, three sides and a soda. I also chose boiled red potatoes and small arepas. I chose a Colombiana soda but paid $1.30 for it. Dodo's is a casual place where you order at the counter. While you get your order fairly fast and considered fast food, it's fresh."
"the burger itself was delicious. the fries were on the stale side and not fresh. staff was friendly and order was ready quickly."
"I've been coming to Smashburger fairly regularly ever since we had a YEE on another part of town.I greatly appreciate their offering Brussel sprouts as a side in addition to fries and tots. Darn good very well seasoned Brussel sprouts at that. They also have a great variety of burgers that you can get bunless and with beef or turkey. They also have chicken sandwiches that look pretty good. I'm pretty much stuck on the mushroom swiss burger. That with the Brussel sprouts (chef's kiss) and my belly is full and glucose is in a healthy non-diabetic or prediabetic range in the end. :)This Smashburger is a little ways away from my home and towards the more congested area of Pearland but I appreciate it isn't too far from where I live. I also dined in once and the young staff was courteous, respectful and helpful."
"Staff extremely friendly and food was delicious. Hamburger was the best I have had in a while and I eat my fair share of burgers. Bun was perfection and toppings fresh. Do yourself a favor and come through, faster and better than my neighborhood whataburger!"
"Don't be a chicken! Try the newest chicken place in Katy Texas @layneshouston They hatched in 1994 and is currently opening in a city near you! Their special sauce have me in a tasty chokehold ! The atmosphere is family friendly and they have the "good" ice! What more could you ask for? The staff is nice and very welcoming ! Order: The 3 Finger Meal with a Oreo Milkshake"
"My son and I stopped in here after a day of shopping at the outlets nearby. We wanted something quick but also new to us. We don't have any Zaxby's on our side of town, so we decided to try it out. The place was empty and kind of dirty. The floors were dirty and there were not many clean tables to choose from. The staff was friendly. We both decided on the boneless wings and tenders combo. You can't really go wrong with that right? It ended up being a solid meal, nothing mind blowing by any means. We also got an order of white cheddar cheese curds to share. These tasted pretty strange and we couldn't really put our finger on what cheese flavor we were tasting. Overall, our tummies were full, but there was nothing that would make us seek out another Zaxby's in the future."
"8.29.23 salad for later. Ordered a Cobb salad for lunch today. I did notice the price has increased. The salad was fresh and had a lot of chicken on it. I think I like the salad better than the sandwich."
"Meat and I are very off and on. Right now we're on. I was craving a delicious deli sandwich on crusty bread with lettuce, tomato, mayo, and mustard. I'm trying all the sandwich shoppes near me and it was Jersey Mike's time. I think it is my first time trying this chain and I was not disappointed. I ordered a club sandwich with ham, Turkey, provolone cheese, lettuce and tomato. They gave me a good serving of mayo too. I ordered a regular but could have gotten away with a mini. I did not want the bacon on it. I also grabbed a bag of salt & vinegar chips to put in my sandwich. The white bread is soft and a bit crunchy. It tastes good, delicious.I have dinner for two days. The sandwich is a little sloppy in a good way. Yum!"
"Are you ready, Freddy? They sell some excellent custard way up where fresh dairy is available in Wisconsin and Minnesota and Michigan and even Ohio and parts of New York State, but around here not so much. There's so little custard around town that I have to give 4 stars to this place just for serving it. But having said that they could do a much better job, and the food is definitely not a reason to come here."
"I believe this restaurant has been to 3 different names or owners since it's been here but honestly the quality of food and taste has not declined one bit! For the amount of great tasting food you get and the price, it cannot be bested!I always get chicken katsu curry! Love it, crisp chicken, curry and katsu sauce is excellent! The macaroni - excellent. Service is fast, clean restaurant. Will be back!"
"I'm currently in my Prime, so I get steak here. They serve pretty good hamburgers and steaks and whatnot and they are a Houston chain with about 15 locations around town, including the suburbs. They're not bad, not a place I love though, and this isn't one of the better locations by any means. It's cool that they're all over and they definitely have a burger worth trying."
"We never go wrong. Always get the box and ask for our fries and chicken to be fried a bit harder. A large Barq's root beer no ice. We always pull to the front and it always comes out nice and hot. No complaints here."
"I placed an order for Uber eats and had a taste for something sweet. I ordered the taro milk tea with boba and the mango Bobo cup. The taro boba milk tea was amazing.. perfectly sweet and milky! The mango Bobo cup was pretty good but not my favorite. It was not too sweet but the heavy whipped cream was a bit too much for me. Nonetheless I had an awesome experience and will definitely be back to try more of their food!"
"The only reason I give this location a three star is because every time I order (Uber eats, drive thru or in person) the last at least 5 times I've been there they mess my order up!!! Is always something missing or wrong item. Even last time I told them to check explained the reason, gave me my order I triple check and guess what...something was missing!!!We love Chick-fil-A but Management please do something about this! Is so frustrated to get home hungry and find out that your order is not complete!"
"I love Cane's! This location never disappoints. Food was hot and crisp and the sweet tea is on point."
"Ordered online and the food was not ready when I got there. Made my Shake and it was ready well before food. Needs better quality control."
"Gotta get the Big Kahuna Cheesesteak! If you don't have to have mushrooms, the normal one would probably be fine especially since If you're not a fan of jalapeños. The extra cheese is delicious (and probably so not healthy) but mmmmm good! They also only have Pepsi products at their soda machine so Mountain Dew all the way!"
"Love this place it's a decent hoagie. Cut fresh right in front of you. They are always polite and good customer service which is huge to me!"
