"Came to this place in Little Italy that has ice cream. It has a pretty small but good amount of flavors. KURIMU has a few locations, including this one close to UIC. Has kind of an Asian theme going on. The prices are okay as far as quality. A pretty limited amount of flavors. It's got a few interesting ones. These go beyond the typical chocolate and stuff. Asian themes are as expected. It's about $6 a scoop. Certainly that's kind of a lot. This is high quality though. Last time had a non dairy flavor. The regular flavors include mango and purple yam among the more unusual. Good Asian style ice cream. It's located on Taylor at Racine. The only bad thing is it's limited for vegans."

Whenever I visit, this is one of my must-haves, but it was so hard to get as their original location is further south of Chicago. It's basically a small food court like space and they have their own set up inside. I got their ice cream in 40 degree weather and I had no regrets. Thank you for making it easier for us out-of-towners to enjoy this delicious treat."
"Our crepes were delicious! We had a party of four and ordered two dessert crepes. Service was not speedy but honestly it gave us a chance to relax and chat. And it was worth the wait. The crepes were fantastic and the cook / server was pleasant. The cleaner they use has a strong scent, but it is not bleach nor is it Pine-Sol scented either, thankfully. The shop is small and has no bathroom. We would visit again to try other flavors."
"YES YES YES! Not only is this location in the best spot but its simplicity and tastefulness combined makes for a quick little bite-to-eat. Happened to be on the bicycle roaming and exploring the city (given it was my first time in Chicago), and as we approached the fountain--a renowned Chicago landmark, right across the bridge, you will find this little hot dog stand with areas and umbrellas to sit. It began to rain and the umbrellas served to sit under and eat while the rain passed. Thank you, ha! I noticed there was a small distinct flavor on the dog (unlike one I've tasted before and I LOVE hot dogs --ball park, all hot-dogs, LOVE), surely enough I asked the gentleman serving and he stated it was their celery salt. In Chicago, a trademark is celery salt on their hot dog, with a pickle and mustard. Chicago friends had stated mustard is the only ingredient on their dogs, opposing adding ketchup, and WOW! I tried just as is--their staple and it was delicious. I did go ahead and added ketchup and it was even more amazing--since I need both. They serve their hot dog with a little bag of chips. Their lemonade is also made from scratch and is very tasty and refreshing. I highly recommend taking a stroll out by the fountain and stopping by for a bite to eat!"
"Was in the neighborhood for a cheeseburger hankering. All in all, it was just okay and not as good as I remember it being.I have to say their fresh cut potato fries are a staple, tasted exactly how I remembered.Good for a fry and coke snack. Burger was just okay and it was a bit overpriced.Solid 3"
"Popped in here last minute as I was leaving the building after the skyline view. Perfect for your late night snack.I got 2x of their traditional burgers and I couldn't resist ordering their hot dog with added crispy onions. This meal was the perfect stamp to end a wonderful night after viewing the Chicago skyline up above."
"First time trying the Original Rainbow Cone after living in Chicago for almost two years and wow, didn't know I needed to try this! I could eat a tub of the orange sherbet - childhood memories of the orange creamsicle and so yummy. Same with chocolate and strawberry with some chunks in there! Least favorite flavor was probably the Palmer House because it just tastes pretty sweet with not much vanilla or any other flavor. The pistachio had a slight almond flavor which I didn't mind because I love almond desserts, but it was sort of grainy.Love that these trucks are in so many places, will definitely be getting again!"
"I couldn't find the place at first. It's right across from the post office with the entrance facing the street rather than the parking lot. It's the most quaint tiny little store front.Very tasty and clean food. The bread loafs were huuuge and I ate the entire piece given how light and fluffy it was. The owner/ chef was warm and welcoming. My only complain was that some of the ingredients (onion?) were sharp and filled the small space, which was a bit uncomfortable for my sinuses."
"OMi is a cute Asian cafe that serves coffee, tea, smoothies, boba, kakigori, bowls, buns, toasts, and even dumplings. We came here as a group, and we were happy to see that there was a larger table in the cafe.We ordered:+OMi OMi Shibuya Honey Toast - a Japanese-style honey toast topped with vanilla ice cream, sliced strawberries, whipped cream, and powdered sugar with a side of honey+and OMi OMi Kakigori - milk-flavored shaved ice topped with cheesecake, sliced strawberries, and cream, served with a side of strawberry puree; the menu stated this would also include blueberries and mint, which were not included +a Fresh Milk Ube & Taro - prepared with ube and taro with organic milk; I requested this to be extra hot, which they delivered +UJI Matcha Latte - prepared with matcha, cream, and milk; opted for the iced version Everything was presented nicely, and I really enjoyed my drink, as it was just the right amount of sweetness and creaminess. They had certain items that are out, but doesn't state anywhere in the restaurant - we were curious about the Corn Latte, but this wasn't available. The cafe itself is super bright and the space was well-utilized where it didn't feel cramped at all. I loved their decor, such as their little tree in the corner and the little figurines and plushies.Staff were very friendly; tables could have been wiped down and attended to for the next party.Extremely limited street parking available in the area.+tasty drinks+unavailable and inaccurate menu items +friendly service +limited metered street parking available"
"What a cute place; perfect for getting ice cream and going for a walk afterwards. The chocolate ice cream was very rich and yummy! Not overly sweet - which is my preference. The vanilla Pikachu was delicate. We ended up getting these adorable waffle eggs! Two plain and two with chocolate! Very creative! The service was great, nice people who seem to like working there!"
"Great outdoor stand that features a limited menu of the company's best hits. Service was quick and efficient. Ice cream quality was great!!! As a tourist I recommend this ice cream. I will be."

Finally got to try kurimu! Kind of sad I missed out on the tea flavor soft serves. But the lime and coconut flavors are equally good and refreshing.Staff are friendly and you can try their flavors. I just went for the classic soft serve in a cup with brown sugar boba. The boba drizzle did get a bit messy. It came with this cute shovel shaped spoon. I do want to come back and try some of their ice creams. It is a bit pricey but there's plenty in one cup to split.

Was told by a native a must try treat and I'd agree. Made our walk along the riverfront all the more enjoyable. Layers of refreshingly sweet Orange Sherbet, Pistachio, Palmer House, Strawberry, and Chocolate. In a cake cone served with a considerate ice cream buddy so if it melts, it doesn't get all over your hands. Highly recommend!

It's incredibly convenient to have one of the most addictive places to get burgers, fries, and shakes readily available in the Willis Tower. The burgers here are probably the standout with nice crispy edges on the patty, fresh vegetables between the layers, and a nice compressed but still fluffy bun to hold everything together. The fries are a little oily, but crispy and delicious with a nice strong potato flavor. The shakes are a meal by themselves, with a nice creamy texture and packed with tons of flavor. The prices are also fairly reasonable, in line with what you pay at higher end burger spots though the portions are a little smaller (but in line with pricing in this area of the loop).

A must when visiting the Museum Campus! I ordered the Rainbow Original waffle cone and it was phenomenal! The ice cream flavors are out of this world and the waffle cone was so fresh. Service was quick & friendly. Worth the $ in my opinion for a Chicago classic. Highly recommend!
Visit Restaurant Page"I feel a little ridiculous paying so much for a smoothie ($5.95 for a small without tax), but it was really good! I got the Tropical Mango. Super sweet, but that's how I like it. Now I'm starting to wonder about the sugar content...hmmmmm. :)"
"Guess what the atmosphere is like at this cafe. It's charming so they're being truthful. Charmers Cafe is located in Rogers Park close to the Jarvis CTA station and a few other bars and restaurants around. Looks pretty quiet and it is. This makes a good place for a relaxing breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Came here from off the train and we got some breakfast. It was actually also serving lunch. That means we got both, so we could see the full range. It's about $4 for a latte. They have several non dairy milks including sesame. Good shit and it's healthier. The lunch menu has more choices for vegetarians. I got the Veg Head. It's about $10 for a pretty big sandwich. This came with carrots, cucumbers, hummus, onions, spinach, and tomatoes. Also has a choice of a side, and I got it with chips. The sandwich was a good size for lunch but we ended up not being so full for once. Healthy options for the morning or afternoon. It's not open for later. There's breakfast stuff including eggs plus options for vegans and vegetarians."
"Black Dog Gelato has two locations - this one in Ukrainian Village and one in Logan Square. They offer a variety of flavors, rotating and seasonal (such as Espresso Chip, Yuzu Licorice Sorbet, Coconut Almond Chip, and even dairy-free options) - even the pickiest eater will find a flavor they'll like! They also offer a Pint Club membership, where you get a pint every month, discounts, promotions, and early access to special menus. We came here after having a meal in the area - the place is small, but clean, and there were only a handful of tables. Staff were very friendly, and you can sample the flavors in their case until you find one (or, several) that you'd like to order. We ordered:+Mint Cookie - filled with Oreo cookies and peppermint oil+Malted Vanilla Pretzel - an Ovaltine-flavored gelato with milk chocolate covered pretzels+Mango Hibiscus Sorbet - with mangos and hibiscus flower+Raspberry Cider Sorbet - raspberries and apple cider vinegar+Kibana Sorbet - made with kiwis and bananasThe gelato was thick and creamy, and you can get yours in a cup or a cone.Limited restricted street parking in the area.+tasty gelato+friendly service+limited restricted street parking available"
"This little restaurant is located on the 8th floor at Bloomingdales. I was shopping with my mom and we asked an employee for a nearby bar/restaurant. She told us about forty carrots so we headed upstairs. We were welcomed right away and it didn't take long to receive a glass of wine. This restaurant offers a lunch menu and frozen yogurt. This is not a huge restaurant but it's the perfect size for this store. Quick and friendly service. I am so happy the employee told us about this place- I will be back soon!"
"I've visited this gem a few times over the years for their delicioso Mangonadas. Today, I decided to try the Doritolocos... and go with my small mangonada later. So let me start with this place is always clean and the people there are always friendly and professional. I sat outside and enjoyed my amped up doritos nachos in a bag outside. I was interrupted twice by people walking by and commenting so I think I gave them some extra business while there. The doritolocos is alot but pretty good! I couldn't finish it all but the bites I had were flavorful. I could have done without the pork in it. I'm not sure what kind it is exactly but the look of it reminded me of.... calamari. Anyway, would get this again with out.My mangonada was perfection as always. I'll be there again soon."
"Known for their TACOlato, very fun way to enjoy a gelato treat! Got the one loaded with cookies and cream and the creation was very fun to eat! Well worth a try! Maybe grab a pizza on the way in or out since it is also inside Pizza Parlor. Service was quick and the place was a bit dark at night but still manageable. Good music and vibes."
"I feel like so many places say the ice cream is homemade and I try and really wonder if that's the case. The menu here basically says that you better believe it's homemade.Apparently it was featured on the food network and the flavor suggested was bourbon butter pecan. I don't really like bourbon and butter pecan is far from my favorite. The lady offered a sample so I took it. And there I was, ordering the least likely ice cream flavor I could possibly think of. It was absolutely fantastic. The family ordered several other flavors and all were really good, creamy and soft. Truly perfect. What a great discovery for us!"
"Honestly a 3.5 but rounded up to 4 because service was so good. We dropped by here after a random dinner in the area and were going right for the taiyaki. My friend and I being mirror images ordered the same taikyaki with matcha with the only difference being red bean vs custard fillings. Our orders came out pretty quickly and were giant! Definitely have dessert space in your stomach if you come here. I will say that the matcha soft serve had a great robust matcha flavor - not dilute or faint at all and not too cloyingly sweet in any way. Loved it! Now the problems started once I got down to the taiyaki itself. It was a hefty taiyaki and I truly wonder if it should have been cooked for a longer period of time because parts of it felt very thick and gummy. The outside and the top had a little bit of a crisp but the middle was honestly very hard to get through. The filling was fine -- i.e. the custard that I got and it complimented the rest of the dessert well but I have to say I have some reservation about the thicc taiyaki which felt a little underdone imo. Service was very sweet; you order at the counter and they call your order out. We went on a weekend night but the crowd was not insane which was much appreciated. There is a good amt of sitting area on the inside too!"
"Im a big fan of Kurimu so was excited to try out the Lincoln Park location!I got a scoop of the blueberry cheesecake which was fantastic. The server was really nice and patient, as we tried quite a few flavors. This location was way less busy than the ones in Wicker Park and Little Italy, but has a lot more indoor space as well.I am not sure if Im a fan of the whole green apple theme they got going on."
"Incredible staff and super smooth gelato! You can definitely tell they make everything homemade and I loved the unique flavors."
"Snow Dragon Shavery is a fun spot. Especially now that we have hot summer days and warm summer nights. On our visit, we brought my friend's niece and she was so excited by the colors and all the goodies. She loved her ice cream and cotton candy. I loved the macaron cookies.I thought the store was kept really clean and organized. It's bright and colorful. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. They were very patient with our little one who had a tough time making decisions on which sweet treats she wanted.Overall, it was fun to try. I think tourists and locals will enjoy a little bit of shavery too!"
"This is the thirteenth location in the state and the fifth one here. This is another Kiosk in Gino's East. This is smaller than the Skokie location. The staff and service is wonderful."
"The best Reuben ever, wow am I impressed. Keep in mind the price is a little high because of the area the place is in but wow it's so worth it. The rye is fresh, the cheese is fresh, the meat melts in your mouth. Absolutely worth every penny. There's also lots of open tables in the food hall and the service was quick and easy. Loved it all!"
"Just found my new favorite wing place! I really like the texture of the coating on the wings and enjoyed the pleasant and strong lemon taste for the lemon pepper flavor. Was originally wanted to order the dipped Italian Beef, but might ended up saying Italian Sausage instead. The sandwich wasn't very impressive - the dipped sausage was overly dry. They didn't give an option re how wet the dipping should be. Order in person during weekday lunch hour also ended up with an extremely long wait - about half an hour. Definitely going back for the wings, but will learn the lesson to order ahead of time."
"I ABSOLUTELY LOVE COMING HERE! This Is Definitely My Comfort Zone As Far As Food. The whole business is black-owned, as well as family owned, so it always give a welcoming warm feel whenever you walk in. Every single item I have tried has been a 10/10 and that is no where near an exaggeration. Thank you guys so much for...just making life so much better."
"Absolute madness - the ice creams are huge and delicious. I've never had French vanilla so tasty and their whipped cream was the perfect level of sweetness to complement the ice cream. They have full service seating and a window for takeaway orders. The service is quick, they answer all questions you have, and everything is efficient. The prices are also absurdly good. Could feed 2-3 people easily - the bowls were bigger than my head!"
"Have never been disappointed with anything I've tried from here. Everything is great including the staff, they're always very kind. They get super busy sometimes but they try to get everything done as quick as possible without being sloppy with your order. Only suggestion for them would be to have more employees staffed per shift, I feel guilty ordering multiple things because I see how busy the staff is taking care of customers in the store while also preparing all the Ubereats and Grubhub orders."
"I was looking for a coffee shop in the loop and ran across Crepe & Bean. As the name implies, they have crepes and coffee, but they also have smoothies and smoothie bowls. Plus, the crepes include sweet and savory options. What's more, the savory crepes use halal meat. What more could one want? I had to check this place out.The interior is nice and spacious, and the ambience is relaxed. I like the decor, especially one of the paintings that I unfortunately didn't snap a photo of. Service was friendly. I decided on a spicy beef crepe and a cappuccino, although I would have liked to try a smoothie as well. The crepe was presented like a bouquet of flowers. Very cool. It was kind of hard to eat, though. The crepe itself was excellent, and it wasn't overly sweet or anything so it worked perfectly fine with savory fillings. As for the fillings, there wasn't much ground beef in there, but the little bit in there was quite tasty thanks to the sauce it was slathered in. Even though it was called spicy beef, it wasn't spicy at all. The matchstick carrots and red onions were nice, but unfortunately the bulk of the filling was lettuce. I mean, it's a good way to get your greens, but I also like my protein. The cappuccino was excellent. It had a nice, thick layer of foamed milk on top. Most places simply cannot get that right. It could be that some baristas simply aren't trained properly on using the wand, or other shops don't have very good machines. Crepe & Bean got it right, so the foam was very satisfying. All in all, a very nice lunch, coffee, or snack spot if you're in the loop."
"I love my neighborhood ice cream parlor! Always great options even though the cookie monster on a waffle cone is my joint. They have an area on the side where you can enjoy your cold cream sitting down and of course you can walk around the neighborhood and enjoy, like myself. Staff is always helpful in helping you select flavors. There is a flavor flight of four as well if you want multiple tastes. I highly recommend!"
"After dinner, I happened to walk by this dessert spot and decided WHY NOT? Though I do want to point out, on a windy day it's a BATTLE to get through the heavy doors-- I almost gave up. Mango Sticky Rice - THIS is such a UNIQUE idea, they have mochi in every bite to resemble sticky rice -- I LOVE itBlack Sesame - This was AIGHT, not too impressed Anyways, I definitely recommend y'all stop by and try out their fun ice cream flavors."
"Omg! This place is a hidden gem in the bustling Chinatown. The combinations of icecreams they have are great! We tried the rolled ice cream and it was very flavorful, came with amazing toppings and was too cute to eat. The service is pretty fast! The ambience is that of a typical icecream store with bright lighting and lots of seating. We tried the mango tango rolled icecream, flower world rolled icecream and Hello! Taro rolled icecream. The flower world rolled iceccream just blew my mind. The combination of dragonfruit and mango was so good, I never thought those flavors would work well together. The Mango tango was great too! Reminded me a lot of the Alphonso mango. The Hello! Taro was interesting and came with great toppings, especially the cute panda cookies. A must visit, especially after eating spicy food."
"My friend lives in the area and wanted to check this place out! Everyone was really friendly, and I liked the freezer of samples readily available. Names were clever too!Things I did not like:- Quality of the ice cream seemed variable, and mine was freezer burnt- Pricing was not apparent, and I feel I paid way too much for 1 scoop- Lids are on everything, so you cannot see what you're getting- The spoon system was weirdWe came shortly after opening, and there seem to be a number of growing pains. I'd be willing to try again!"
"Mm mm mm the flavors are melting on my tongue. Literally. Really nice staff serving great tasting desserts and treats!Very cool setting with plenty of space for big gatherings too. 5 stars, recommend visiting! P.s. keep an eye out for generous promotions on their Instagram."
