Relish Chicago Hot Dogs

Always walked by here on the way to navy pier but this was the first time trying it out. Pretty solid Chicago dog! 10$ inc tax for dog/chip/soda combo which is great after a day at the beach or walking the pier.

This is a great location to stop by near the beach/park for a quick bite. I got some mango Italian ice which I enjoyed. My husband ordered strawberry ice cream which he said was alright because it had some ice chips in it. Service was quick and pleasant and the short line moved quickly.

This is everything I wanted from trying a Chicago hot dog. It was a cute stand next to the park and Navy Pier. The line moved fast and our order came out relatively fast. I wish they had more seating around, but understand why they don't being in a public space. The hot dog was delicious. Looked like what I expected for a traditional Chicago dog. If you're wanting to try one this is a nice quick easy way to do so.

Awesome hot dog stand outside of Navy Pier and a little ways away from a public beach. You can grab some dogs and easily hit the beach, which I did! Two Chicago dogs will run you about $13. The dogs are delicious! Service is quick as well compared to restaurants nearby. If you're looking for a quick, authentic Chicago lunch, this is the spot!

YES YES YES! Not only is this location in the best spot but its simplicity and tastefulness combined makes for a quick little bite-to-eat. Happened to be on the bicycle roaming and exploring the city (given it was my first time in Chicago), and as we approached the fountain--a renowned Chicago landmark, right across the bridge, you will find this little hot dog stand with areas and umbrellas to sit. It began to rain and the umbrellas served to sit under and eat while the rain passed. Thank you, ha! I noticed there was a small distinct flavor on the dog (unlike one I've tasted before and I LOVE hot dogs --ball park, all hot-dogs, LOVE), surely enough I asked the gentleman serving and he stated it was their celery salt. In Chicago, a trademark is celery salt on their hot dog, with a pickle and mustard. Chicago friends had stated mustard is the only ingredient on their dogs, opposing adding ketchup, and WOW! I tried just as is--their staple and it was delicious. I did go ahead and added ketchup and it was even more amazing--since I need both. They serve their hot dog with a little bag of chips. Their lemonade is also made from scratch and is very tasty and refreshing. I highly recommend taking a stroll out by the fountain and stopping by for a bite to eat!

This was my first experience with the Chicago dog and it was kinda terrible. All the toppings was so acidic. And yes they are pretty acidic toppings (pickles, onion, relish, tomato, mustard) but after my first bite I felt like I had acid reflux. The acid felt like it burnt a hole in my throat. It was just too pickley. This was gonna be my end all be all with the Chicago dog and I assumed this is just how they are and this is how y'all like them. But then I went to portillos and that one was actually good and not super acidic. So I think something is just wrong with this place and how they store their toppings.

I had thee most AMAZING, FRESH, TASTY Chicago Style HOT DOG on Friday at this super cool stand on Michigan and Jackson! The toppings were so fresh and crisp, unlike other stands I've tried. The stand was clean and the workers were friendly and helpful. Not only do they sell hot dogs, they also have Italian Ice, And the best home made Lemonade called a Lemon Shake Up! Run...don't walk for the BEST CHICAGO STYLE HOT DOG in the city!!!

Honestly best hot dog I've ever had!! First time in Chicago and first time trying the Chicago dog. It was amazing!!!!
