Balanced, delicious BLT and perfect fries. Limited menu with "meh" portions of protein, couldn't imagine eating here any more than once per week, and only when supplemented with another meal.

The best Reuben ever, wow am I impressed. Keep in mind the price is a little high because of the area the place is in but wow it's so worth it. The rye is fresh, the cheese is fresh, the meat melts in your mouth. Absolutely worth every penny. There's also lots of open tables in the food hall and the service was quick and easy. Loved it all!

This place is pretty darn legit! The sandwiches were delicious and more than filling. My coworker and I could both only eat half of our sandwiches! I had the turkey sandwich but swapped the pretzel roll for sourdough. One thing to note: the sourdough bread was toasted and was really hard/crunchy. Not bad but it was a little difficult to eat!I also got the truffle fries which were really good but the portion was hugeeeee definitely enough to share. Would've loved a smaller singles portion, if you will. I ended up throwing about half out (because LBH leftover fries just ain't it). Also next time I'd order the truffle sauce on the side. Overall a solid lunch spot for a yummy sando and quick service.

I came here on a random Monday during lunch with my bestie who was in town. We both were taking a chance coming for lunch but what the hey!... am I right? We both ordered the Turkey sandwich, a side of tomato bisque, spicy sesame fries, two ginger lemonades and a cookie. The food:- Turkey sandwiches ... whoa! That's all. They're massive as heck. Like talk about bang for your buck. For $10.75, you're like ehhh if the sandwich is tiny, you put up with it because it's downtown Chicago. TFS definitely put me in my place with this sandwich. It was tasty, filling and huge. Even with the removal of the avocado the sandwich was able to hold its own and believe it or not, that matters. - Tomato bisque: fire. The crotons was the tip over the edge. Also without anything, this thick and creamy soup hits the spot. - Ginger lemonades: blah. There was more lemonade than ginger and I'm a ginger girl. I need it 50/50 or at least 60/40, with 60 being ginger more. They're both super strong flavors so I need there to be a balance. - Chocolate Chip Cookie: Imagine insomnia cookie but on steroids. This is that cookie and it's all worth it. Super soft and gooey. I'd order again from any of their locations including the food truck. Great job and worth the pricing.

Best BLT's I have EVER had! Truffle butter/mayo whaaaaat. It's literally so good. Had them for the first time at Revival through ritual, and a second time with their food truck. I'm excited to eventually check out their patio in LP. Not only are the sandwiches sensational, but I'm pretty sure it's family operated, and they are doing hella work right now to feed frontline workers. Doesn't get any better than that.Love,Lexi

Headline: Pretty legit BLT. Food: I loved the bacon by itself and the truffle aioli was delicious, but I'm not sure the whole sandwich entirely worked. Which is weird because, it's a BLT. Was it trying too hard to be something it's not? Did the avocado throw off the delicate balance of BLTness? A taste that went BLAT, perhaps, in my case. Also, it was a bit of effort to get all the flavors in my mouth at the same time. Thus my taking off pieces of bacon and enjoying those separately. Which was delicious. Service: Was swift and friendly. Price: Up there, not unreasonable. In sum, worth checking out for the bacon alone.

Everything here is stacked high and full of flavor. The sandwiches are great, but give the cookie a try, too.I placed an order through Ritual for a turkey sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie. Pickup was super quick, and I took both items back to the office with me.The sandwich is fully loaded with copious amounts of turkey and avocado, along with cucumber, arugula, and a basil aioli. The pretzel bun is delicious and contains all these ingredients about as well as could be expected. The turkey is pretty thickly sliced. Turkey, in general, can be dry when it's too thick, but that wasn't a problem at all. Really good. The chocolate chip cookie from Fat Shallot is wildly underrated, IMO. I have gone here multiple times just for the cookie, and I'm honestly not sure why I don't do it more often. Like the sandwich, it's incredibly thicc and flavorful. This will probably sound like a dumb comment, but it tastes like cookie dough. More than your standard cookie does. Sometimes you'll find this with undercooked cookies, but that's not what's going on here at all. It's not gooey--I'd say the texture is almost cakelike (but much denser), and it all comes together to create a unique cookie experience everyone should try.Overall, I don't have a single complaint. Highly recommend.

The Fat Shallot, while not on the main drag of Revival Food Hall, is not to be missed. They make great sandwiches that are perfect for lunch. While it was hard for me to try something new, as I always seem to find myself at Budlong Chicken whenever I visit Revival Food Hall, I'm glad I did. TFS has a small but varied menu of sandwiches, a soup of the day, sides, and cookies. Each of the sandwiches sounded tasty in their own right but I decided to go with the Pesto Chicken. It was a very decent-sized sandwich with probably a whole chicken breast's worth of meat on it. The rest of the toppings were ample and the entire package was flavorful and enjoyable. I paired it with a bag of chips, a pickle (which was HUGE), and a ginger lemonade. My meal, albeit pricey (coming in at $20!), really hit the spot and filled me up.And so it goes with Revival Food Hall: tasty little food stalls that offer a variety of scrumptious choices that are delivered at higher-than-they-should-be prices. It's this reason why RFH, and any stall in it (including Fat Shallot), will never be able to break into my normal rotation of lunch spots.

This is the best turkey sandwich I ever had. It's so refreshing to eat, given the perfect balance of the cucumber with the warm turkey slices and avocado. The pretzel bun is chewy and delicious! As someone who doesn't usually care for sandwiches, this sandwich really impressed me. Although I wished the sandwich came with a side. it was $10 and not very filling. Pro tip- order it through ritual- you won't regret it when your sandwich is neatly packed and waiting for you!

The Fat Shallot at Revival Food Hall was OUTSTANDING! I am a fan of all of the Fat Shallot locations, but I had a particularly wonderful experience here. We ordered catering for a company retreat, (~50 people), and the experience was tremendously smooth. The ordering process was easy, and their team, (shoutout to Grace), provided helpful recommendations. They were kind and willing to adapt as needed, and it felt so seamless compared to other catering experiences. We had originally ordered for a picnic, but on the day of the picnic, the forecast called for rain. The team members at the Fat Shallot were SO INCREDIBLY HELPFUL by allowing us to set up the lunch within the Food Hall, (AND helping -- going well above and beyond their job description). The rain easily could've put a damper on the day, but by the end, everybody had seats and felt overly satisfied by the delicious menu, (equally enjoyed by group with many diverse dietary restrictions). Living near the Fat Shallot in Evanston, I've had a lot of phenomenal firsthand experiences, but this experience at Revival definitely takes the cake. 10/10 recommend!
