"Do yourself a favor and get the burger and curly fries. Burger is probably my top 3 in the city. Curly fries are better than Arby's. Great service as always!"
"Decided to stop in for lunch and discovered that they had a Sunday brunch menu. I ordered the sausage breakfast sandwhich. It was served on a croissant. It was hard to hold like a sandwhich so I cut it. The sausage tasted just like the sausage you would get on a pizza. The Pico on top had a lot of onions in it. (More than I would have preferred). Served with a side of hash browns. (It was a small serving). They had cold brew coffee which was delicious. My friend's order was incorrect, but he just rolled with it. To me it was only ok."
Tossed in bbq, topped with onion strings and pickles.

"I genuinely like this place. It has a wide variety of craft beers and a nice, friendly atmosphere. The reason for 3 stars is that the quality of food has shifted. When I first started going there last summer (2018), they had these amazing chicken wings. Big, meaty wings that could fill you up. Six wasn't quite enough but twelve was too many. I'd get the garlic parmesan. Did I mention they were amazing? Now? I swear they walk next door to Dominos and take their wings (yes Dominos has wings and if I'm gonna get small bits I might as well save some money). I'm still impressed that they have the truffle french fries. Those are amazing too and about the only reason, I keep going back. I'm sure the wings is a cost-cutting move but please, please, please find another way to save money."
"Great place to have a drink and some food. Plenty of space for large groups both indoors and out. There's a large outdoor patio as well as a private party room upstairs that can hold about 30-50 people and a nice outside patio adjacent to private room and first level. The staff are really nice and supportive."
"Got some good Mexican drinks and food one evening here. It's pretty fast and has a chill atmosphere with a sports bar feel to it. Mi Nueva Tierra is a great place for getting some good cocktails and tacos. Also has plenty of TVs for watching games. The prices are pretty good and the food was fresh and not canned type of stuff. After looking up a few places around Ashland and Fullerton, we came here. It doesn't look like much from the outside. The inside isn't that big either, but there's enough room for a small gathering or so. Got seats at the bar. We ordered some drinks first, of course margaritas. It's about $8 for the MNT Margarita, the Classic Lime. The food may hav been even better though. Cheap. We got the Veggie Tacos. It's $4 each. These come with cilantro, lettuce, and roasted vegetables. Small but mighty. There's also other classics like burritos and tortas among others. Check it out if you like the idea of Mexican food in a sports bar. It's basically what this place is like. There's good drinks and food at good prices for most things."
"Came in here on a random Tuesday night with some friends for some food, and this place exceeded my expectations!Super convenient location, and there was quite a few people in there considering it was a late Tuesday night. We all ordered some drinks and some food, I got the grilled chicken little sandwich with regular buffalo sauce- that was awesome! The seasoned fries too were addicting. Everyone loved their food, some people got wings, pretzels, burgers... seems like you can't go wrong with anything you order. I'll have to come back for brunch and/or to sit outside on the patio before the summer is over. All in all great spot!"
"Great local sports bar, plenty of seating, tvs to watch whatever you wish, and plenty of great food options. The burger I ordered with pork belly was delicious...but I wish I brought more of an appetite to eat because it was huge and couldn't finish it. Still hit the spot though. Appetizers were very filling and delicious. The group I was with all enjoyed ourselves."
"Great new sports bar in Lincoln Park. The selection of signature mules is awesome and the drinks are very good. Food worth trying are the wings and pizza. Service is good. Our bartender was very nice and took her time to explain what's in some of the drinks. Follow on IG table42chicago for reel about this place"
"HASTA LA PIZZA, BABYWarm up with a delicious thin crust at this intimate restaurant on the Near North Side.Located inside the Embassy Suites on north State St, Pizzeria Via Stato is tucked within Osteria Via Stato. Their specialties are Roman-style thin crust pizzas but they've also got a great variety of Italian appetizers and an extensive wine listing. We were seated around 7pm on 11/4/19 by a hostess who was downright delightful. She was upbeat and held a brief but pleasant conversation with us (the greeter at Rosemont's Bub City could learn a thing or two from the charming hostess here). Not long after, we placed drink orders. My cocktail of choice was their Farmer's Mule ($13) made with vodka, fresh pear, ginger beer and cinnamon. My fiancée enjoyed her Stella Rosa ($12), which had tequila, muddled strawberry, prosecco and thyme. There was no free bread service here, but I'm willing to cut them a break. She absolutely loved the burrata ($13) that came in a pool of olive oil with buttered crostini. The caprese salad ($13) had roasted tomatoes along with the usual fresh mozzarella and basil. It was expensive, and worse still, we spotted a small black hair hiding between the slices of mozza. Ooohhh no thanks. On the other hand, their pepperoni thin crust ($15) was one of the best pizzas we've had in a while. The red sauce was great and the small slices of 'roni had the perfect amount of spicy kick to them. It was really delicious and a pretty fair price. The 'prosciutto americano' ($18) was just as good. It had arugula, aged balsamic, and shaved grana (similar to parmesan). It was also excellent and we easily polished off the entire thing. I liked that it was more of a flatbread in nature and less of a "pan style" pizza, which meant we could eat more slices and not feel stuffed to the brink.Bread = 4.5Circuses = 4Our server did a fine job and took solid care of us during dinner. The atmosphere inside was perfect for an impromptu date night and the dining room was tidy. I didn't realize this place was part of Rich Melman's vast Lettuce Entertain You empire, until the check came asking for LEYE points. How 'bout that?* TL;DR *It's tough to stand out amid the deluge of deep dish that seemingly dominates the Windy City. Finding a worthwhile thin crust is no small feat, but Pizzeria Via Stato is up to the challenge. The food and service was fine but finding a short black hair in our antipasti tells me that someone in the kitchen needs to wear a hat. That's an automatic 1/2 star deduction (sorry guys!)I'd nevertheless recommend this place to friends and family seeking a pizza that won't put them in a food coma."
"Check it out: another Wicker Park hipster spot with good drinks and okay food. DSTRKT is like a Mexican-American hipster bar and grill. It has some pretty decent prices, making it actually not that bad so I can't hate this place a lot. Gets busy so it may take a long time before orders arrive or anyone even says anything. The drinks are the best thing, and even the food isn't that bad honestly. After the last time here my opinion of it improved, and we actually had good service as well as drinks and food. It was lightly busy on a weeknight, but we didn't wait for long. There were quite a few specials. On both drinks and food. We each got a Margarita. It was $5 and was bigger than we thought it would be. They probably used cheap liquors. Even so, it was hard to tell though, so good job. Of course we also had to get the food special. It was a Taco Dinner. It was $10 for three small tacos. There was the choice of chicken, steak, or black beans and vegetables. My friend got the chicken. We got the vegetarian ones, and were pleased. Even though these were small, they were bigger than many of these mini tacos you find around here. They also were packed full of beans, lettuce, and pico de gallo, some good shit. Go here on a weekday to get better prices on drinks and food. It's also open on weekends for a club atmosphere where it's much busier and service is slower. Those wanting to actually get food should come on weekdays."
"I can't say enough good things about this place! It's a sports bar with several large screens all around and lots of seating. The owners went to our alma mater and were introduced to us by our sister-in-law. Super nice and hospitable people!! They really rolled out the red carpet for us with drinks and their delicious spicy Shrimp and crab stew to start. It was amazing! We then had a platter of oysters, mussels in a spicy Diablo sauce (that I could have drank!) and a seafood platter with shrimp, crab legs, sausage, corn, mushrooms, and potatoes. It was all very fresh, with the crab meat literally falling out of the shells. I was in seafood heaven!! There are so many other things on the menu that we will be back, especially because we now have a new sports bar to watch the KU and Bears or Chiefs games! Shout out to Robert and Huma!"
"Great place to eat lunch. Lots of selection to choose from. I ordered the Kale and Squash salad. I absolutely love it. It's a nice big bowl of greens, squash, fried onion, and I added steak and pecans. It's tossed in a very good dressing. Love it. The place is big, clean and roomy, with big open windows. Also there is outdoor patio seating with a nice large screen tv. There are a lot of TVs inside as well. The waiter is very nice, friendly, and attentive. Never had to ask him to fill my water."

Great sports bar. We were there for March Madness-the joy to be able to watch all the games at once!!Good food... bar food. Interesting pizza, I liked the crust Also, big plus in my book, not VERY loud - and remember, it was March Madness We've gone back a couple times- our server was sweet and efficient, and it was busy

Came here for the first time about a week ago with family, and I had a pretty good experience. When we walked in, the hostess told us to sit anywhere we wanted. We sat at a high top table, and our waitress came soon after. I wish I knew this place had an outdoor patio on the roof because I would have loved to sit up there; however, it was so hot the day we came, and we were sweaty from a Cubs game, so I guess it worked out that we didn't know about it anyway. The Piggery has a dive bar feeling inside with tvs everywhere and wooden furniture. There are string lights around the dining room, and the bar itself has many different taps. The restaurant was also clean when we were here, and it's obvious that the workers care about how the place looks. The menu isn't extensive, but there is a decent variety. They offer different bbq pork dishes, as well as entrées like tacos, salads, mac and cheese, and burgers. I ordered the tacos ($12.99), which were pretty good but not very filling. They were mix and match any 3, which I liked because I ordered two steak and one chicken tinga. The flavor was good, and both the chicken and steak were well-seasoned and cooked, but the tacos came with no side, and they didn't even double shell the corn tortillas. Consequently, while I was eating them, the tortilla broke, so all the filling constantly fell out.For an appetizer, our family shared the buffalo wings ($15.99 for 10) and the cheese curds ($11.99). The buffalo wings tasted like the generic normal buffalo wing, so there was nothing unique to them, but they were cooked perfectly and still tasted good. I honestly loved the cheese curds more because of their perfect balance of a crispy exterior with the soft, cheesy interior. They were delicious! When it came to service, our waitress was attentive and friendly. It was decently busy, and yet she consistently checked in on us. She was also the bartender and still found the time to help us. Good customer service is rare nowadays in restaurants, so we were very thankful for her!Overall, I'd come here again, but I want to take a look at the patio and also try some different menu options.

MCM Pub & Grill is located on Cicero, just a bit south of Six Corners. There is a main bar when you enter, and another bar in the back that may be for special events (they were about to host a birthday party when we left that day) and I suppose overflow crowds when they are busier. My love and I had a Friday evening excursion here along with our couple friends. We first enjoyed some beers before ordering food. The online menu shows daily specials that are astoundingly low, so not sure if the prices are up to date, but the deals still seem pretty reasonable. My love enjoyed her fish and chips, and our friends enjoyed that Friday special along with a thin crust pizza. We sampled a square of the tavern cut BBQ chicken pizza - not bad. My pulled pork sandwich with fries and a pickle spear was AOK. The service was pleasant and on point. Our initial server made it known (in a nice way) that she was checking out fairly soon, but then the handoff to the other server was seamless. Come for the beer, stay for the food.

We came to eat @ Crio on Clybourn Ave just down the street from Mi Nirvana Tierra but they weren't open. Searching Yelp we found Mi Nuevo Tierra about 1/2 mile south of Crio. Since we were already in the neighborhood we decided to give them a try. We all ordered the enchilada mole dinner that came w/what else beans & rice. Decent food but nothing earth shattering that makes me want to come back again. The salsa that came with the chips was very good. Nice restaurant w/ good service, but unfortunately for me it was good but nothing spectacular

By far my favorite place to get wings in old town. Tables available and outside which during the summer times is a popular area to stroll around. We got the super buffalo wings and nachos and ahhh they definitely bring the heat. The wings are like injected and double fried so they are crispy and saucy. I love coming here along with the friendly staff. Can't wait to visit again.

I came to Timmy O'Toole's twice recently and had a positive experience each time. The first time I ordered the Grown Up Grilled Cheese, and although simple, it was delicious. The second time I wanted to order it again, but it left the menu. So I instead ordered the Birria Grilled Cheese, which was okay, but not my favorite.I also tried the buffalo wings and they were quite good.Timmy O Tooles is a great sports bar to watch a game, there are a ton of TVs. I imagine this would be a prime spot during March Madness.

The ambiance is fun but if you are wanting to seriously watch a game, it can be a little distracting since there are just people dancing everywhere and a loud DJ. The service was pretty good, but for a sports bar to not have any draft beers is pretty unusual. Prices are also a bit high for what you get. The food was average. We got the tenders, wings and nachos. All tasty, but nothing special.

"The last time I had an English Breakfast, I was in England about 20 years ago. Let me tell you, the breakfast that I had at the Globe Pub was delicious! Very much worth it and I definitely recommend. Me and my friend went there to watch a football game and the food was a must try. The service was outstanding and the ambiance was crazy good. I have never seen that many football fans in America and I was enjoying every cheer during the game."
"Whenever I got to a new city I always want to try what they're known for but without going too commercial. I've been to the normal pizza chains in Chicago but nothing beats hole in the wall pizza. My usual spot was around the corner Peqoud. When we were told the wait was 2 hours I was crushed. I looked around and this spot popped up. First of all, it screams dive bar in the best way. Love the set up and seating. Decor is great as well. We were seated and right away commandeered the jukebox. We ordered the Angry Italian and Chicago Classic. Not being a huge fan of spicy i took the dive. Oh gosh it is not for the faint of heart. Its really spicy. Im sure it can be chased with one of the many drink specials. Both pizzas were fresh and delicious. Portions are huge. We ordered 2 for a party of 4 and it was way too much in the best way. My friends ordered bloody marys. Very cute with a little slice of pizza on top. And the waitress offered us a shot on the way out. Loved loved loved this spot. Would definitely come back"
"The bar is deceptively large - if you walk in, you'll find another room, and then the outdoor patio (which is sealed off and heated in the colder months) which is perfect. Love the moose and all the cute bar touches.Better-than-average bar food. Next time we'll try the steamed broccoli. The salad was a delight. Poutine and cheese curds are always a hit."
"Awesome sports bar with delicious food and amazing staff at a great, central location! There are tvs everywhere, so they will 100% have the game on that you came there to see. The service is great and efficient! There is a wide variety of drink selections so you cannot go wrong with any! The food was our favorite part though. We highly recommend the cheese curds from there, if you hadn't gotten them before"
"Cool corner bar. Didn't eat just came in for a couple drinks and catch the Sox/Cubs game. Cash only, but no big deal. Just wish they had better tv's. Only really 1 good one in the bar. Come on, Costco is down the street! haha"
"Warning: this review may make some bold claims and contain undue hyperbole and rambling insanity in favor of the Green Bay Packers. Please do not proceed unless you're willing to tolerate that or if you just hate warnings in general. My Buddy's is my buddies or are my buddies. Or My Buddy's my buddy. I dunno.Anyway, they make you feel at home here. We went there last night, in search of a Packer bar somewhere near Uptown. They took our reservation gladly and they were nice and direct on the phone, as in, "It's gonna be busy during the game. Show up at least half an hour before the game, even with a reservation."It wasn't as packed as I was expecting, but I do believe that every table was reserved in advance, so I would recommend reservations for a game. For the Packers-Bears game, they had the raving Packers maniacs in the bright back room and the somber Bears fans in the dimly lit front room, though it wasn't enforced or anything like that. It felt pretty civilized overall, to almost everyone's credit. The food is decent, by bar standards. We had Muchacho Totchos and the highlight, besides tots, was the pico de gallo at the top. It tied the whole room together and all that, just like The Dude's rug. Also, we tried the guacamole, which had a strong lemon flavor, but it was good and not salty at all. They had RC Cola on tap, so we were super duper enthused. The stars of the show, though, are the other fans, the staff, DJ and the owner (Brian) walking around with a microphone. It is loud. My left ear was ringing after the game, but it all made for a very exciting and engaging gameday experience. (I was debating just watching the game at home, but I'm glad that we went.)They also gave away NFL stuff during halftime during the drawing. Both Bears and Packers fans who won were mildly happy. As a bonus, it's very LGBT friendly. Everyone comes as they are and there's good diversity and representation among staff. Good unity and good times. We'll be back for another game and we're also looking forward to going to one of their karaoke nights."
"This sandwich shop never disappoints!! Hands down my go to sandwich fix for love or any sub craving! The beast and the haus Turkey sub is my fav, add the garlic Mayo, it's amazing. The servings are huge, they're not cheap on the meat. It's worth every Penny. The west sider and the Italian are also great! Pasta salad is pretty good but the subs are all stars! However skip the chips. This dirty brand potato chips are bad, the flavors all suck and a waste of money. Better off walking down to the corner store for a bag a chips."
"This was a really fun bar! The atmosphere was great and it is in a good, walkable location with a very nice wait staff. The food is pretty good pub food that you can't go wrong with. I reccomend the cheese curds! When I am in the neighborhood again, I won't hesitate to make another stop by!"
"Came here for am early dinner before we went to watch the White Sox play. It was great weather so we sat outside and enjoyed it. Parking was a bit of a challenge since it was game day, but the bar gave us a parking pass while we were dining. The service was quick and friendly and menu choice was good. Here is what we had:Buffalo chicken egg rolls:. One of the newer items on their menu and specialties. It was weird to think of it but the taste was awesome. It was 4 egg rolls cut down the middle, stuffed with buffalo chicken and ranch or blue cheese as the dipping sauce. It was actually really good. Nice and crispy on the outside and soft and tender inside.BBQ wings: meaty and juicy, these wings were nice and tangy with the perfect amount of bbq sauce on them.Chicken tenders: the tenders were not overly breaded and the dreading was really good. Not just a thick slosh of flour, with a nice seasoning to it. The chicken was nice a soft.calamari:. These were fine not anything to brag over but we'll cooked and a good portion.Overall I would come back for a bite. I wish they served dessert, then I would make it a solid go to place. I recommend this to those just looking for a quick good bite."
"Had some excellent food at this kind of classy but still casual place in Buffalo Grove. It's kind of like a sports bar but also is like a restaurant. Vin 90 has a pretty wide variety from pub grub to sushi. Prices are kind of high, which is the only bad thing about it. The menu still has a few items that aren't as pricy though. About the only bad thing is the prices, especially on food. It's not bad on some things however. Take a look and there will be some good ones. It's about $12 for the cheapest cocktails. Really not bad for the fancy suburbs. Of course we got a few. The best was the Spicy Orange Mule. Probably the most interesting and unique Mule I've ever had. This was Orange vodka, ginger beer, and lime with a kick. Because we're pretty cheap we got the cheapest food on the menu just about. The Maki rolls are about $5 or so. Much better than the $65 Lobster Rolls. We got the Avocado and Cucumber Rolls, and these were probably about as good as those, just saying. Proves you can cheap out here. The rolls were a pretty good amount for the cheap price. Could check this place out some time again. It has cheap and very expensive items. There's something for those on a budget or for those who can spend whatever."
"My friends and I came here after a concert at the Concord down the block. It caught our attention as we were walking to get to our car because we could hear them playing some awesome 80s music from Prince to Duran Duran to Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam. Went inside and there were only a handful of people. We ordered drinks and within minutes started dancing with the others starting to join in also. The DJ came to talk to us to ask us about how our night was going and if there was anything we wanted to hear. He was really friendly and down to Earth. As we arrived after midnight, their kitchen was closed. It would have been nice to get a bite but it's all good because we realized that Victory Grill down the block was open. Overall, it was a great night at Innjoy and I really look forward to returning back soon for another 80s dance party."
"I love walking around Chicago when I'm home for the summer. On this visit I had my dog Zeke with me. This taphouse showed up in a Google search for "dog friendly" so I walked a half-mile north from the riverwalk to refresh for an hour of walking. I walked in on a Monday with a few people behind the counter. The friendly bar tender quickly came around to give my dog a water bowl without me asking for one. I sat at the counter and tried two Chicago-brewed wheat beers. There were plenty of beer on tap and many more bottled.A Korean taco shop is next door. There is also a biergarten in the back for larger groups. The interior is heavy on dark wood, like many old taverns, and is long and narrow.Excellent customer service. I paid $16 just for two pints of beer, which is typical for Chicago."
"I am visiting from out of state and have been to several bars around town for football Sunday. Black Eagle Club has been the best sports bar experience to date. In addition to large bay windows letting in the sunny fall weather, I get wings, beer specials, a different game on each tv, and a really friendly wait staff. Very happy to have discovered this neighborhood bar!"
"Initially was on the way to the liquor store for a bottle of wine with my friend but we saw that the patio at Hawkeyes was open (despite the small rain shower), so we decided to stop by for a drink and nachos. It was so nice outside so it was the perfect stop. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The nachos were just okay for bar food though."
"Liz is an incredible bartender and is forthcoming with specials and ideas for drinks! I really love being able to get something delicious from someone who clearly has an intricate knowledge and understanding of the palate. The vibe is super fun and I love the music bingo."
"One of my favorite bars in river north. Awesome service, great draft beer selection, food is bomb and just an overall friendly place. Plus pool tables and a juke box. This place goes all out for the holidays!"
"Sutherland's is the motherland of sports bars in Portage Park. The place is filled with tv's, and the crowd is there for the games. This place is packed all the time. The servers are quick and responsive, and the drinks are made well. I'll have to try the food on the next game day."
"Great neighborhood bar, with welcoming staff and about 10 draft beers. Food menu is bar bites- the steak fries are salty/delicious, and the wings are messy but tasty! Year-round patio is also a huge plus!"
"I placed an online order for some takeout. I ordered 2 separate 8 piece wing orders for a total of 4 different sauces. I chose their Bourbon BBQ, chili-maple, Buffalo and honey-habanero. All the sauces were tasty, but they didn't mark them, so I had to guess on a couple of them. I want to say the chili-maple tasty had an Asian tangy spice to it, but overall was really satisfied with the entire wing order. The Buffalo sauce was also very good. I also ordered their cheese curds, but unfortunately, cheese curds don't travel that well. By the time I got home, they were cold and soggy. Wouldn't really blame then on the restaurant, but overall they tasted great with their chili aioli. Will definitely be returning, with hopefully an opportunity to dine instead of doing takeout."
"Standard BBQ eats with decent value. Heard the wings are recommended, however I didn't realize this till after--so on my next visit."
"Got lured in here by a coupon campaign with $10 off, and it's not bad. The service was excellent, and the vibe is pretty cool. It was packed but not crazy noisy, and the background music was lively rock n roll vaguely 90s thru mid 2000s but not so loud to give headaches.I got a decent salmon salad, but I think $20.45 is a bit much. Maybe I need to get acclimated to these post pandemic prices...Anywho, I have a 20% off coupon left so I'll prolly be back for Happy Hour. Haha"
"Still one of the best places for wings! Great bartenders and service! I always stop on when I am in Wrigleyville!"
"Beautiful space, quick service and the food has been awesome so far. The wings are huge and pizza is solid."
