"Great local sports bar, plenty of seating, tvs to watch whatever you wish, and plenty of great food options. The burger I ordered with pork belly was delicious...but I wish I brought more of an appetite to eat because it was huge and couldn't finish it. Still hit the spot though. Appetizers were very filling and delicious. The group I was with all enjoyed ourselves."
"First time here as my coworker suggested this bar after the Bears game to continue having a few more drinks and watch other Sunday football games. The place was packed, and we were told they were in a transition between people closing out once the Bears game was over and other people coming *from* the game. Everyone we encountered from the host and hostesses to our server were actually really friendly and took great care of us. They have a million TVs in here so you'll never an issue watching any game here. The only reason I took a star off is because our food was very meh! The chips and queso dip didn't do much for me, and the wings themselves were not that great. They weren't awful, and did the job... but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back and eat them again. Maybe other food is actually good here though! Would definitely come back to try other food while drinking here!"

"Cute sportsbar. We did the $30 burger and all you can do special on a Friday night. Burger was good. Drinks were decent. Felt the first drink was good and then became weaker and weaker. So we switched to beer. All-in-all a good time out. Several board games to choose from and the TVs played a variety of shows."
"A fun spot to watch a game or hang out with friends. It is a bit loud for talking but has a lively atmosphere and a varied menu. They have amazing fries and a lot of vegan as well as meat options. Our group opted for mainly meats but after eating the fries I was full! Such a large portion of perfectly cooked and not overly fried potatoes. Yum!If you are in the area this is a great spot to check out for hanging out and good. They have an extensive bar as well so you can get a bit of anything and everything!"
"Came here on a Friday night around 8pm with no reservation and was able to get a table on the patio right away (ps they're dog friendly!). The server came right away with waters and gave us time for our order. We went with the JALA AT YOUR BOY and the Maple Bacon Burger with a side salad/Brussels and sweet potato fries/Brussels.The Jala was tasty but note - the jalapeño is HUGE with the seeds and veryyy spicy. The maple bacon was tasty, cooked well. Not the best burger I've ever eaten but very solid. The sides were on par, both tasty with good flavor. They also brought three dipping sauces for my SPF. I would prob give fatpour a four based on food alone but the server was so attentive and on top of everything that she deserves a five for this experience! I sadly don't recall her name but blonde, mid twenties probably and very kind!"
"Great place to eat lunch. Lots of selection to choose from. I ordered the Kale and Squash salad. I absolutely love it. It's a nice big bowl of greens, squash, fried onion, and I added steak and pecans. It's tossed in a very good dressing. Love it. The place is big, clean and roomy, with big open windows. Also there is outdoor patio seating with a nice large screen tv. There are a lot of TVs inside as well. The waiter is very nice, friendly, and attentive. Never had to ask him to fill my water."
"Surprisingly good Irish food and great service! We visited the Emerald Loop out of necessity. There was a big event downtown and this place didn't have a wait. At first look, this place comes off as an Irish-ish sports bar. Lots of TV's, pub tables, a menu that has the basic grub, etc. It also has some nice touches like large windows, exposed wood, and lots of Christmas decorations when I visited. We were seated right away and our server took care of our drink orders. There's a little spot on the menu with Irish fare and both of our party ordered from it. The bangers and mash as well as the Shepard's pie were tasty on their own, but I was absolutely sold with the addition of the brown sauce! So good! I would have overlooked this place at first but would now go back if I'm staying in the area again!"
"We came here for some grub and drinks on a Sunday. Service was quick and atmosphere was nice and lively. The Nashville hot chicken Mac and cheese was delicious and spicy. The kung pao cauliflower was okay but small. The ceasar salad was interesting because it had olives. The pretzel bites were a nice small shareable."
"Love it here! Our waitress was fast and we got our food quickly. My partner loves the hot buffalo wings and I cycle through the wraps. A fun atmosphere especially for sports and they have a lot of good deals! We also love their outdoor seating :)"
"Decided to stop in for lunch and discovered that they had a Sunday brunch menu. I ordered the sausage breakfast sandwhich. It was served on a croissant. It was hard to hold like a sandwhich so I cut it. The sausage tasted just like the sausage you would get on a pizza. The Pico on top had a lot of onions in it. (More than I would have preferred). Served with a side of hash browns. (It was a small serving). They had cold brew coffee which was delicious. My friend's order was incorrect, but he just rolled with it. To me it was only ok."
"The bar is deceptively large - if you walk in, you'll find another room, and then the outdoor patio (which is sealed off and heated in the colder months) which is perfect. Love the moose and all the cute bar touches.Better-than-average bar food. Next time we'll try the steamed broccoli. The salad was a delight. Poutine and cheese curds are always a hit."
"Came in here on a random Tuesday night with some friends for some food, and this place exceeded my expectations!Super convenient location, and there was quite a few people in there considering it was a late Tuesday night. We all ordered some drinks and some food, I got the grilled chicken little sandwich with regular buffalo sauce- that was awesome! The seasoned fries too were addicting. Everyone loved their food, some people got wings, pretzels, burgers... seems like you can't go wrong with anything you order. I'll have to come back for brunch and/or to sit outside on the patio before the summer is over. All in all great spot!"

I came to Timmy O'Toole's twice recently and had a positive experience each time. The first time I ordered the Grown Up Grilled Cheese, and although simple, it was delicious. The second time I wanted to order it again, but it left the menu. So I instead ordered the Birria Grilled Cheese, which was okay, but not my favorite.I also tried the buffalo wings and they were quite good.Timmy O Tooles is a great sports bar to watch a game, there are a ton of TVs. I imagine this would be a prime spot during March Madness.

While in town visiting family, we wanted to find a location to watch the Sunday football game. I found Theory through a Google search and decided to visit. Just as their website states, Theory is an upscale sports bar that offers an eclectic menu in a slick, loungey space with plentiful plasma TVs. We made our reservations on OpenTable which was quick and easy. Immediately upon arrival, we were greeted by hostess and taken to our table. What I enjoyed the most is that they asked us which game we wanted to watch prior to taking us to a table. They will take you to a table that is in the section where that particular football game is/will be played. I thought this was a perfect touch to customer service, as they were ensuring customers can view the game that they came to see. There are a bunch of TVs inside, which cover every single football game that is on. Please be mindful that it is very noisy. I almost think the TVs are a tad bit too loud. However, it does remind you of being at a football game in person. We ordered a few items: the traditional chicken wings with honey bbq sauce, waffle fries, and the Herky Cheesesteak with waffle fries. Everything was delicious! For drinks we ordered a lemon drop martini and a vodka/cranberry. Please be mindful that those wings are extremely saucy. I almost wanted to wipe them down before eating them. The waffle fries were amazing! They were fried to perfection. The cheesesteak was delicious as well. Overall, an amazing experience! I will definitely visit here again.

Hosted a 50 th birthday here last night and glad I did. The neighborhood is a bit desolate and parking options can be a little tricky ( we found street parking ) but really this was a perfect spot for a fun, lively, cute and instagram worthy outdoor summer party. The food is solidly good and our gluten free and vegan guests were quite pleased with the clearly marked options we selected for them. Overall our guests particularly liked the bruschetta, mezze boards, cheese board, steak sandwiches quinoa burgers ( my personal fav), salad and fries. Skip the grilled cheese sandwiches ( this was the only item not a hit with our group and we ended bringing a ton home). The venue allowed us to bring in our own birthday desserts which was great and appreciated. Rented the add on camper bar and private s'mores pit which were so cute ( tip - start with just one order of s'mores - people ate way less than we anticipated). Had 2 adorable signature drinks at the camper bar which we named for my guest of honor ( as well as other great drink options). Servers were excellent. Shout out to Amanda and Jada who were friendly, welcoming, efficient and true pros. David, the owner, was easy to work with as well. Our guests ate, drank, played bocce ball ( another highlight!) and roasted s'mores. So fun! Best part is this place knows what they are doing and run as a well oiled machine. No need for an additional party planner. Easy for me from start to finish and made hosting less stressful than other places I have worked with in the past. If you are looking for a casual, adorable, really fun, fairly priced venue , I highly recommend Park and Field.

Great draft list, good food, understaffed on a busy night but great service.Came right before a Bulls playoffs game with my wife and 1 year old and had a perfect experience. Even though the place was busy and understaffed, our waitress was deeply empathetic and got us set up with a high chair and the kid items they had on hand (crayons and coloring books). The drink selection is fantastic, with dozens of great draft options. Even when busy, the drinks came out in minutes.Chicken Quesadilla - 4/5. Very strong, lots of cheese, good amount of avocado, tasty side sauce. Pulled pork - 4/5. My wife really liked it, good BBQ sauce.

Fatpour is a terrific bar. We came for the Michigan-Ohio State game and had a blast with fellow fans. Best experience I've had watching a football game in a bar. Fatpour delivered on all accounts: FAN-tastic service, food, drink menu (the Harbomb was the perfect way to celebrate our victory!), and best of all... FUN! Thank you for such an awesome game day!

Alright, so I'm not exactly what you'd call a sports bar aficionado, but all my buddies are crazy about The Fifty/50. One night, feeling a bit adventurous (thanks to some green inspiration), I decided to tag along. And let me tell you, it's not your typical sports bar vibe - more like a laid-back, updated neighborhood hangout. We strolled in on a quiet night, got seated right away, and then, jackpot - they were doing bottomless wings. Now, usually, the word "bottomless" raises an eyebrow, but these wings? Absolute game-changers. No kidding. And the waffle fries? I'm convinced they're sprinkled with some kind of magical seasoning and fried in oil from another dimension. Seriously, I'm not easily impressed by fries, but these were next level. But, and there's always a but, the service was on the slower side. And I mean, it wasn't busy - I'll say it again, NOT busy. Our server acted like taking our orders was the most tedious task on the planet. Chicago service, it's like playing the lottery - this time, we didn't win. Now, let's get back to the good stuff. The Fifty/50 is the kind of neighborhood bar you want in your life. The food? Explosively good. Those wings and waffle fries might just be worth dealing with a server who's moving at a glacial pace. Casual vibes all around, making it the perfect spot to kick back, enjoy some top-notch bar cuisine, and, if you're lucky, catch a game on the side. So, in a nutshell, if you're down for a chill atmosphere, stellar wings, and waffle fries that'll make your taste buds dance, The Fifty/50 is your spot. Just be prepared for the possibility of service that's a bit more tortoise than hare.

After walking for 4 hours, we stopped at this place to eat our lunch. The restaurant is in a building 1920 something, a jewelry business place, and still inside a lot of history. The service is nice and fast, and our beyond burger with waffles fries were delicious! The price is reasonable. The Arnold Palmer was really good too!

OTP!!Let's gooo! Old Town Pour House is easily my favorite bar in the City of Chicago! They have a zillion taps (okay maybe like 80) behind the bar with tons of ciders, beer, and cocktails! This place is a restaurant during normal hours - then later on they ditch the tables and chairs and it becomes a standing room bar like other places in old town. The vibes are always immaculate with massive ceilings and tons of tvs - so you can always catch the big game. They have bars on all 3 levels (you can rent out the basement or upstairs bar) and tons of space for your large group to hang out.Service is generally pretty good, but just be patient during busy nights and on weekends. I've never had any food here that I didn't like. Come check out OTP!

"-great chicken sliders and sandwiches. -minus one star, they didn't give us any onion straws with our carry out order. Happened to get a gal on her first night and we were her very first order, so some mercy here. I would have claimed an order later but there wasn't a next time before we left town. --short walk from Claridge House, good place...."
"One of my favorite bars in river north. Awesome service, great draft beer selection, food is bomb and just an overall friendly place. Plus pool tables and a juke box. This place goes all out for the holidays!"
"This sandwich shop never disappoints!! Hands down my go to sandwich fix for love or any sub craving! The beast and the haus Turkey sub is my fav, add the garlic Mayo, it's amazing. The servings are huge, they're not cheap on the meat. It's worth every Penny. The west sider and the Italian are also great! Pasta salad is pretty good but the subs are all stars! However skip the chips. This dirty brand potato chips are bad, the flavors all suck and a waste of money. Better off walking down to the corner store for a bag a chips."
"Whenever I got to a new city I always want to try what they're known for but without going too commercial. I've been to the normal pizza chains in Chicago but nothing beats hole in the wall pizza. My usual spot was around the corner Peqoud. When we were told the wait was 2 hours I was crushed. I looked around and this spot popped up. First of all, it screams dive bar in the best way. Love the set up and seating. Decor is great as well. We were seated and right away commandeered the jukebox. We ordered the Angry Italian and Chicago Classic. Not being a huge fan of spicy i took the dive. Oh gosh it is not for the faint of heart. Its really spicy. Im sure it can be chased with one of the many drink specials. Both pizzas were fresh and delicious. Portions are huge. We ordered 2 for a party of 4 and it was way too much in the best way. My friends ordered bloody marys. Very cute with a little slice of pizza on top. And the waitress offered us a shot on the way out. Loved loved loved this spot. Would definitely come back"
"I walk by all the time but have only had drinks until recently. Prior to a concert we stopped for dinner and drinks. We sat outside and enjoyed everything we had. I will definitely be back to check out more of the specials!"
"Found this bar with a good atmosphere and prices, where getting both is rare around here. It's in Printer's Row close to a few hip and more expensive places. Kasey's Tavern only has drinks, but they have tons of these. Get something for almost any preference, hard or light. There's lots of local beers, many versions from famous and less famous liquor brands, and wines. A good place if looking for just a drink. I've been here a few times and have gotten quite a few things that other places have but sell them a lot more expensive. This is certainly one of the cheapest bars around here. Especially for its location that's quite an achievement. It's about $6 for the cheapest liquors. Most others are only a buck or so more expensive than that. Find something for almost anyone. Lots of local beers on tap. They even have lots of wines. Be divey or fancy. There's also lots of TVs so it's a good place to watch shows and games. Better when it's not as crowded. It's one of the few bars around this area that are open very late. They have pretty much just drinks and not really any food except maybe having some frozen pizzas."
"Great spot for watching games on their big screens. I prefer to sit up at the bar for quicker service. Food is above average for bar food. It's a Purdue Bar so best spot to watch their games in the city!"
"I came to Joe's for the Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press concert with some friends, and loved my entire experience here!Joe's itself has a large set up in the front, with plenty of seating and TVs to catch a sporting event. We grabbed a drink here before heading to the back room where the concert was being held. The concert was located in the very back in a separate area. They also had a section dedicated to a fun photobooth and merch. The band played an epic show that had my friends and I singing and dancing till the very last song. The sound quality and lighting were great - my sound engineer brother would've been impressed! Before the concert even started, the music was on point and they were playing The Office clips on the TVs which I thought was awesome. For how busy it was, the bartenders were never rude and very quick to serve. Drinks were also stupid cheap for what we were getting. Usually, bars upsell and overcharge during big events and concerts, but I didn't feel like that was the case at Joe's. I'd highly recommend this spot for a concert! We had such an amazing night here!"
"Classic sports bar with great rooftop! The food is amazing and they have a very good beer selection. The draft beers are fresh and clean. Friendly and attentive service."
"Cool place that's like a hipster sports bar. It has a lot of the typical things you'll find, plus a few others. The Moonlighter is known for the burgers, with some available for both meat eaters and vegans. Fun but relaxing atmosphere. You can watch a game or participate in things like trivia. After looking up a few close by sports bars, we came here. It had a good crowd but we were still able to get bar seats. There's a few big TVs. Good place for watching a game. We were impressed by the menu. Healthy for a bar. Lots of stuff for vegans. Also drinks. Prices are about what to expect. It's about $12 for a cocktail. The one I got was the Fly By Night. It's Amaro Noveis, Bonded bourbon, Giffard Rhubarb Liqueur, and lemon. Some high end ingredients in there. Each of us got one of the vegan cheeseburgers. It's about $14 for these. These are pretty big though. I got the Vegan BBQ Cheeseburger. This is a Beyond Burger with barbecue sauce, vegan cheese, fried onions, and pickles. Filling burger. This makes a healthier yet tasty alternative to the meaty stuff. Have to hit this place up again. It's on Armitage closest to the California CTA station. There's a whole lot of traditional barbecue offerings plus lots more for vegans and vegetarians."
"Sutherland's is the motherland of sports bars in Portage Park. The place is filled with tv's, and the crowd is there for the games. This place is packed all the time. The servers are quick and responsive, and the drinks are made well. I'll have to try the food on the next game day."
"We decided to check out Budweiser Brickhouse Tavern because who doesn't love a bottomless brunch with bottomless mimosas?! We did not have a reservation, so we got there right when they opened. For that reason, we had to sit on the 1st floor. This meant we had to go to the 2nd floor to get all our food. No worries though - they have an elevator. If we go back, we will make sure to get a reservation because the rooftop is everything - way more of a vibe than the 1st floor. It is a pretty standard brunch, but they provide a lot of stations. We had everything from eggs and omelettes to chicken and waffles, to salads and dips, to desserts and a donut wall. Some of the donuts were even infused with your favorite beverage. The bartender kept the mimosas coming and even swapped out the standard orange juice for pineapple juice.Note: the mimosas package is per person, not per table. Also, parking can be tough during peak hours.#ImNotAFoodie#ImJustAGirlWhoLovesFood#YelpEliteSquad"
"If you are going to an event at the United Center - this is the place to go to grab pre-event dinner and drinks! 10/10 would recommend. We thought we wouldn't be able to get a table before a weekday Chicago Bulls game but, we were (thankfully) wrong. We were seated immediately at a lovely booth. One side of the restaurant that had a large bar was not in-use. The other bar space was open and had bar seating available. The crowd was not boisterous or obnoxious which I appreciated. Serve was very fast and friendly. They were hustling! The cheese curds hit the spot although the cheese pull wasn't a nice long pull like in Wisconsin ;) The salad was huge and I wasn't able to finish it. My Fiancé ordered a hamburger with fries and also wasn't able to finish the meal which is very unlike us. We are always in the clean plate club. While dining we noticed a shuttle bus pull up to the front of the tavern. We asked our server what that was all about. Turns out, tavern patrons are able to take the complimentary shuttle to and from the United Center! The shuttle runs every few mins to and from the stadium. This was a very pleasant surprise especially because we planned to walk to the stadium and the forecast was calling for rain. We had zero issues with the driver remembering us when we grabbed the shuttle after the game. While this service is free, tips are appreciated."
"I was in Wicker Park for one day and came here for lunch with a friend, it was awesome! We had a bunch of appetizers and a couple local draft beers. A Bears game was on and the local crowd were having a blast! I enjoyed the experience so much that I came back at the end of the day for a night cap! Lunch was great. We had the cheese curds, a pretzel, and the steak quesadilla. All were super tasty! The marinara was a great dip for the curds. The pretzel came with 3 cheese dips that were all great. The quesadilla was delicious and came with some tasty salsas to kick it up! The service was great and people were friendly, definitely recommend this place! Check'em out!"
"Solid food, quick and attentive service, great options for everyone.Wings/burgers were delicious Love the fact that you can mix and match any of the Slider optionsOnly negative thing I have is I wish the hand cut fries were a little more crispy but other than that, everything was Fantastic I will definitely come back"
"Coworker recommended their wings, so I decided to give it a try especially they seem to give you a $5 off bill after you check-in on Yelp. I ordered the Spicy Pineapple flavor as I thought it's gonna be sweet, sour, and spicy. The wings are good - big with crispy skins and aren't dry. A little downside would be the sauce... It will be perfect if the pineapple taste can be stronger. I can smell the pineapple when I open the to-go box, and can see small chunks of pineapples, but can't really taste any. Also, the $5 off deal only applies to dine-in customers; such exclusion isn't listed :( and they charge 50 cents for to-go orders."
"Awesome sports bar with delicious food and amazing staff at a great, central location! There are tvs everywhere, so they will 100% have the game on that you came there to see. The service is great and efficient! There is a wide variety of drink selections so you cannot go wrong with any! The food was our favorite part though. We highly recommend the cheese curds from there, if you hadn't gotten them before"
"I placed an online order for some takeout. I ordered 2 separate 8 piece wing orders for a total of 4 different sauces. I chose their Bourbon BBQ, chili-maple, Buffalo and honey-habanero. All the sauces were tasty, but they didn't mark them, so I had to guess on a couple of them. I want to say the chili-maple tasty had an Asian tangy spice to it, but overall was really satisfied with the entire wing order. The Buffalo sauce was also very good. I also ordered their cheese curds, but unfortunately, cheese curds don't travel that well. By the time I got home, they were cold and soggy. Wouldn't really blame then on the restaurant, but overall they tasted great with their chili aioli. Will definitely be returning, with hopefully an opportunity to dine instead of doing takeout."
"Initially was on the way to the liquor store for a bottle of wine with my friend but we saw that the patio at Hawkeyes was open (despite the small rain shower), so we decided to stop by for a drink and nachos. It was so nice outside so it was the perfect stop. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The nachos were just okay for bar food though."
"Listen, any bar that sells a glass filled with maple bacon has my COMPLETE attention! I'll get to that in a minute. My partner really loves sports bars with huge tv's, so a last minute yelp search lead us to check out this establishment. We went on a Monday night and it was pretty empty, I'm sure it being freezing cold and Covid restrictions had a lot to do with that. I actually preferred that it wasn't as busy, the bar was clean and staff were very pleasant. There are tvs all over to watch sports which was great. Shoutout to our server Oliver, he was very nice and kept small talk with us. Ok now onto the food....it was good! The food came out fresh and hot (another perk of it being a slow night) and had excellent flavor. My burger and my partner's chicken sandwich were cooked perfectly. But cmon, you know the star of the show was the glass of bacon! I was hesitant to spend $10 for bacon but they give you 1lb of thick cut bacon, seasoned with maple and pepper. It's such good bacon I cannot stress enough lol. The drinks were good too, as my bio says I am a whiskey girl and was pleased to see a full and well kept bar. I will be back and you know I'm going to order more ."
"Great place! Our server, Adeline couldn't have been anymore pleasant. Went for Gopher/Illini game so place was filled with Gopher fans. Drinks were very reasonable and the staff was first class! We'll be back!"
"A NY bar actually, as there's Knicks and Rangers apparel all over, but you can watch most any sports event here. I came in for the AFC Championship last Sunday, and it was a good spot. There's a quieter front bar, with TVs and some tables, and then a bigger more open party space in back, with more tables and a 2nd bar and even more TVs. You could sit in either depending on how big your group is. Most the bigger groups were in back, I just sat at the bar in front. They have a few food items. I got the cheese curds, a staple, and you got a good amount of them, plus came with parmesan cheese on top, which you don't always see. Pretty decent craft beer list, both on tap and in cans/bottles, plus the usual domestics. Bartender was nice, good service. A nice neighborhood feel. I'd gladly come back for another game, or just to hang out."
