There are a few tables on the inside that I was able to eat at. The door kept opening as people were going in and out to pick up their orders. The staff was super nice and provided excellent service. Will definitely come back to pick up wings in the future."

"My love was very excited to get a Groupon for FireWings, so we checked this place out recently. FireWings is a smallish place on Pulaski just south of Lawrence and adjacent to an alley. They seem to have inconsistent opening hours. We live near it and have walked past it at random times - sometimes looks open, sometimes looks closed. For a while they had a sign in the window touting a breakfast menu on the weekends, but not sure if they are still pushing that early agenda.The menu features wings of course, but they also sell burgers, burritos, and fried shrimp. They have a list of 40 sauce selections for their wings. Orders of wings and burgers also come with a side of fries. When we walked in to place our takeout order, we were told that it would take only 10 minutes. I was surprised, as I was anticipating a much longer wait based on some of the Yelp reviews. After my love and I witnessed a peaceful protest on Pulaski for about 15 minutes, we went back to FireWings and our order was ready to go.My order of 6 wing pieces with honey BBQ sauce was good if not great. The fries that came along with the wings rate a bit better, as they were crisp and flavorfully seasoned. The celery stalks were very basic, and the not-quite-ranch dipping sauce tasted pretty decent. My love went with the cheeseburger, and the bite of the burger I tried was tasty. I'd say FireWings is worth a try, but be sure that they are open for business!"

"We came here for a quick bite. I hate these beef places that have these slices of pizza on display. Because I only came for a beef and the damn slices look so good just staring at me. So I couldn't resist and ordered a sausage slice as well. This place gets pretty busy with a lot of pick up orders as well as grub hub and all that other crap. I waited longer than I would have liked to, but it really wasn't all that bad. I ordered my beef with hot peppers and dipped. The only way it should be ordered if I'm being honest..I'm only kidding. The beef was packed with flavor. Just the right amount of seasoning and they filled the bread up pretty well. The hot peppers were also perfect. Just the perfect amount and right amount of spice. One of the best needs served in the city. We also ordered cheese fries. They serve crinkle fries and then topped with the cheese. I prefer my cheese on the side so I can dip it but then again you get more cheese when they just pour it on top like how they did. The sausage pizza slice was pretty good, just not sure if I would order it again. We also ordered a hot dog but it wasn't all that great. The beef is where it's at here. I'll definitely be back."

"Came in here on a random Tuesday night with some friends for some food, and this place exceeded my expectations!Super convenient location, and there was quite a few people in there considering it was a late Tuesday night. We all ordered some drinks and some food, I got the grilled chicken little sandwich with regular buffalo sauce- that was awesome! The seasoned fries too were addicting. Everyone loved their food, some people got wings, pretzels, burgers... seems like you can't go wrong with anything you order. "This location is not only for take out but you can also dine in. They have a good amount of seating. Since it's next door to AMC, you can park in the same lot. However, if you go at night for dinner, be prepared to drive around looking for closer spots. It didn't take long for the food to come out. I ordered Tha Bomb and chose my lobster tail and shrimp grilled. It came on a garlic brioche bun. The house made Surf Sauce was very tasty. No complaints about the grilled lobster nor the grilled shrimp, they were cooked beautifully. French fries were delicious, nice seasoning that wasn't overly salty. I had a taste of the dirty rice and I found it bland like they forgot to season it. Prices are typical for seafood in this State. Service was decent."

They are also happy to customize orders for you.The bad: this is in a somewhat sketchy part of town. I mean, the kitchen is behind a huge plexiglass (bulletproof?) screen. That being said, I've walked here more than once and never had an issue.I certainly haven't tried everything from here, but have had a couple different kinds of sandwiches, fries, pizza puff and chicken nuggets. I'd rate them from good to less good in that order too. The food in general has not blown me away, but it's a helluva lot better than chain sandwich shops! "I know y'all think Chicagoan's eat stuffed pizza all year round. For me I crave it like once a year. But on the day I ordered a stuffed pizza from Slice Factory my craving went unsatisfied. Stuffed pizza takes a really long time to cook because it's so thick. I got mine by delivery and all the timing added up. But the pizza was extra doughy in the middle and almost floppy at the bottom? I even tried to save it by cooking it longer in my oven and the crust just wasn't right. The sauce and cheese were ok. It just didn't have the flavor I'm used to from other local pizza places. Maybe the giant slices are a different story. And they do have late night hours. Just not going to rush to try Slice Factory again."

It's a nice big bowl of greens, squash, fried onion, and I added steak and pecans. It's tossed in a very good dressing. Love it. The place is big, clean and roomy, with big open windows. Also there is outdoor patio seating with a nice large screen tv. There are a lot of TVs inside as well. The waiter is very nice, friendly, and attentive. Never had to ask him to fill my water."

"Tried this new establishment for dinner. Located right off Western and Fullerton. Ordered online to go but inside of restaurant was clean. For dinner we ordered two chicken sandwiches. The chicken sando came with Butter toasted buns, coleslaw, pickles, chicken tender, drizzled with NHC Sauce. Served with a side of NHC Sauce. For sauce, we tried buffalo sauce and Mild Cyrus. We also ordered a side of fries. The toast was a small add on and wanted to try and also the waffle for something sweet. Ordering online was easy. Food was ready when I arrived, actually 5 minutes early. Taste of food was good. I thought the chicken tender was good but probably need two tenders on these sandwiches. I was full with my sandwich and fries. My husband wanted more. Therefore, I would order an extra chicken tender in the future for my husband because it is not a serving for a grown man. I enjoyed my Mild Cyrus Chicken Sando. I was happy that we requested that the pickles and Cole slaw on the side. I just think in transport my bun would have been soft. The French fries were surprisingly seasoned and felt the serving was a good size. Overall satisfied and the waffle was really delicious. We added that for a sweet treat and it was like baby dessert. I would come back. Tip: buy extra tender for extra protein if you have a big appetite."

If you like hooter wings but don't want to pretend like you're not looking and judging this is the right spot. The price and flavor are the exact same. This IS HOOTERS! So, this just comes down to if you like hooters food or not? Menu is tad bit scaled down from original location You walk in and order your food. Sit down and they bring it out to you in about 10min-15min (cooked to order). You're able to get your own drink from the pop machine. They still provide booze. Same sport's atmosphere. I watched Lebron James pass Kobe in the all-time scoring list ...the night before (8/24) but again this the exact same concept as Hooters.Regarding everyone throwing out "overprice" In comparison Wingstop charge $9.99 for 10 wings. Buffalo Wild Wings charge $13.50 They charge $9.99! Still not satisfied? McDonald's mighty wings use to cost 10 for $9.69. I just dislike you can choose 2 flavors for 10 wings but only 2 flavors for 20 wings. (Wingstop allows 3 flavors when you hit 20) In the end of the day, it's a business so expect to be up charged for adding fries and drink for $4 and adding blue cheese/ranch sauce $1 eachAs far as location, not the "best" but at the same time I don't think you have to clutch your pearls. Right next to AMC Cicero 14. (which also isn't the "best")I wouldn't drive pass a hooter just to come to hoots, but I do drive pass hooters with a negative image of their business model. Often when I do finally decide to go. I mostly order the food to go. This is yelp and not sociology, so I'll just say wish hoots business model was the one that started/took off vs the main one that did but understand why it didn't."

"I visited the Chicago Chicken Coop a few weeks ago on a Saturday night, and it was about 5 customers so they were pretty busy. The store was clean and tidy. The customer service was average. Normally Fried Chicken restaurants have mean and rude cahiers that roll their eyes at you, but the cashiers here did seem to have some manners. The chicken was cooked fresh, seasoned well, and it was good! On the other hand, the Mild Sauce was watery and lacked flavor. It was a turn off. The fries were ample. The coleslaw side is very small. The chicken was fried so hard I had to be careful because of my teeth. The chicken was so burnt the meat was hard and stringy not good not to mention the reason the sauce is different is because it's bbq sauce not mild sauce and only a little on top of chicken. I gave 3 stars for good service and the cole slaw was good.Not everyone likes their chicken fried hard smh!"

"My burger looked almost like the picture and tasted even better. I'm always skeptical when I see a burger joint that isn't mainstream. I decided to try Jimmys Famous Burgers today. I ordered the #1 and doubled my patties. The burger came with fresh hand cut fries and a nice frozen strawberry lemonade. The burger meat tasted fresh and looked like it was handcrafted. Someone definitely took pride in cooking these patties up as they had a nice sear with a really soft chew that melted in my mouth. The burger didn't seem to have a lot of seasoning on it but the lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, ketchup and mustard all kicked in and gave it a good flavor. I was most impressed and my burger even almost looked like the menu advertisement! Also it was a pretty big burger. I'm a big guy and it took two eating sessions for me to finish. The fries were fresh but I waited a bit too long to eat them. But no complaints here because these were hand cut and didn't taste like the normal fries that most restaurants in the local neighborhood use. I'd recommend getting mild sauce on these fries though. The strawberry lemonade was tasty! A Sweet, tangy, cold treat that is sure to help chase away some of the summer heat. I will be back to eat here soon!"

"As someone who loves wings, BB.Q Chicken has quickly risen to the top of my Chicago foodie list. A group of friends and I had the pleasure of ordering takeout from and we were amazed. There is an extensive selection of flavors to choose from. I highly recommend the Honey Garlic, Soy Garlic, and Cheesling options. All three are excellent! The Cheesling flavor, in particular, was a pleasant surprise. It's not often you see this choice on a menu. For anyone looking to try something unique and flavorful, I would encourage it. The crispy fried chicken is made to perfection. It's cooked just right, with an optimal level of crispiness on the outside and tenderness on the inside. This sets it apart from other Korean chicken places. BB.Q Chicken also offers a wonderful variety of side dishes. Our personal favorite is the Ddeok-Bokki, a classic Korean street dish with rice and fish cakes. I dipped my chicken in the sweet and spicy chili blend for an extra zing. I would give it a 10/10 recommendation. Give it a try. Overall, the portions were generous, ensuring a pleasurable experience. It caught our attention as we were walking to get to our car because we could hear them playing some awesome 80s music from Prince to Duran Duran to Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam. Went inside and there were only a handful of people. We ordered drinks and within minutes started dancing with the others starting to join in also. The DJ came to talk to us to ask us about how our night was going and if there was anything we wanted to hear. He was really friendly and down to Earth.As we arrived after midnight, their kitchen was closed. It would have been nice to get a bite but it's all good because we realized that Victory Grill down the block was open. Overall, it was a great night at Innjoy and I really look forward to returning back soon for another 80s dance party."

"I've been wanting to come here for years, and apparentlt, it's the first Black-owned barbecue spot in Chicago. I'm happy to report that I was well pleased with my visit. The food was delicious - we got the rib tips and links combo as well as an order of fried shrimp. The prices are great, and I do wish I'd tried their fried chicken too (just to sample), since other people seemed to really like it. I especially enjoyed the tips and the fried shrimp was wonderful (I admit I love a fried item and fried shrimp in general might be one of my perfect foods). But definitely get the rib tips and links because that's what they're known for.As an FYI, My friend and I came here on a spring night and unsurprisingly, there was a bit of a line. I'd read reviews talking about lines in winter, so I was ready to wait. I would definitely factor that in if you're a newbie like me, so don't come too hungry because it's also takeout only, so you'll have to factor in transporting it home."

It was 14.75 for the large tips but they gave you enough to feed at least 3 people depending on how much you eat.This is a cash only or cash app establishment so make sure you don't bring the plastic because there isn't a close ATM machine around.Due to the pandemic at least when I went you could not eat in the restaurant. I also got the chicken wings and they were fresh and tasty. I didn't add sauce to them because I didn't want them to come home soggy so I just dipped them in my sauce with the tips.I can't wait to go back and get some "Hood Ribs" they will definitely be my go to guilty pleasure once a month.As always...Enjoy and be Safe!!!"

"One of my favorite things to eat... buffalo chicken wraps, is probably the best thing to get at Merkle's. It's also got ranch in it but the spice & flavor mesh so well together. The cheese curds are a tasty app you shouldn't overlook. Our waitress was good, but not the most attentive. It was pretty loud in there despite us being 1 out of four groups of people. They have a great selection of drinks, including the gumball head IPA that was a great choice along with my food. My boyfriend got the bacon cheeseburger with Parmesan garlic fries and he loved them! I'd definitely try this place again for happy hour or before a Cubs game!"

They have QR codes at the table for you to view the menu and place the order there, or you can order at the counter or at one of their kiosks. The guy behind the counter is friendly. It is a self service type of restaurant. They have a table to side where you can grab chopsticks, plates, sauces, etc. Their lunch special is probably my favorite for just $9.99. The portion is a bit smaller than their regular price dishes. I had the Xiamen rice noodles which were delicious. My dad had their wonton noodle soup and a plate of beef chow fun. My partner tried their salty karao fish rice plate and the Yangzhou fried rice. The salty karao fish wasn't salty at all. Their menu is pretty small compared to other restaurants. It's kind of like a canteen style, with a curated menu, and you can pick between traditional or American Chinese dishes. I'd come back again and would recommend it to anyone in the area. They also have free parking on premise that's shared with other businesses in the plaza."
