Very nice people and very clean restaurant. Unfortunately I only got a coffee but it smelled so good so yes I would definitely go back.

Always plenty of seating, it's all comfortable. Most everyone is very welcoming. We had a slight delay when our soft spoken waitress started to get yelled at by an older worker. I don't know who was in the right but the older one saying she'd kick her ass isn't the best way to deescalate. Maybe she was hit as a child so that's the only conflict resolution she knows. The argument didn't come to blows. No one got physical. There was also a general but subtle smell in the place I didn't love. Not sure what it was. Most customers were getting takeout. There were a lot of people doing that. The place may have had a lot of seating available but the place was busy, busy. Very popular. All the customers were nice to staff and each other.Food came out FAST and hot. All tasted great. They have hot sauce at every table (and salt/pepper/sugar...). I've been here several times and it's always been a nice experience. That smell wasn't there before and I'd never seen arguments between employees except the most recent visit. We all have off days.So I'll certainly be back.

Although not named after anyone in particular, June's Kitchen is a classic urban luncheonette on Wadsworth Avenue in the Cedarbrook neighborhood of Philadelphia. Most of its business is takeout, but there are several booths and stools along the back counter for those who prefer to eat while the meal is right off the grill. The menu offers platters with eggs, meats and fish, pancakes/French toast, omelets and sandwiches for breakfast. My Frenchie was three nicely grilled slices, sufficiently caramelized with side of turkey sausage links, served on oval platter, with syrup in a table rocket. The dish was tasty and filled me up. Coffee came from a Bunn automatic drip, which probably could stand an upgrade in quality for less harshness. Service was superior (shout out to Felicia), with friendly check ins to be sure I had what I needed, and repeated coffee refills without waiting to be asked. I've been to this area a few times before and found that this part of town in far north Philly is a pleasant breakfast destination, with adequate parking and short strolls to front doors. They all have a similar casual ambiance reflecting the community they serve. They are all well above average and worth a visit and return.

The service was great and friendly! Everyone was welcoming and the food was amazing and satisfying. Waffles and pancakes are so fluffy, fruit was fresh, wing dings are a personal favorite. Fast service and nice staff. Home fries with vegetables were my friends favorite. There are also a lot of regular customers.

They don't follow directions. Staff the waitresses semi kind. There are 2 young ladies working there that are consistently professional. My problem is the cook. Runniest sunny side eggs. Dripped all over my food. I won't go back. I was very detailed how I wanted my eggs.

Inexpensive, delicious food, large portions, and a great staff. Chef came out and said hello while we were eating, thanked us for stopping by. Definitely recommend this establishment
