This is real deal comfort food that tastes delicious and the servings are generous. You never know what delicious dessert is going to be on the menu but it's always good. The location is accessible with easy to find parking. The service is quick and efficient; customer service is A1

There was an odd smell outside leading up to the restaurant but the inside was very clean. The counter person, a woman of a certain age, (family perhaps) was nice but so very slow. She was literally moving at a snails pace. Receiving my order also took an extraordinarily long time especially given the fact that I called it in. I placed an order for fried chicken wings and was given a 20 minute time frame. I arrived after 40 minutes and it still wasn't ready for another 30 minutes. Outrageous! With that being said, the wings were quite tasty. I purchased the banana pudding cake which I did not enjoy at all. The color and texture were both off putting. I'd get the wings again and try a few of the sides and just hope it doesn't take that long again.

Customer Service here is horrible besides the extremely long wait for food. The front desk lady is just rude unprofessional and inattentive to customers. The food is okay but not worth the unprofessionalism displayed.

Great service. The Ms Lady there is super sweet very friendly .clean ambiance. The banana pudding cake was delicious unique I'm definitely gonna try all the desserts.. I am a foodie and so is my man to keep things 100.. the chicken could've been.. No should've been fried harder we don't like the skin soft .. has to be crunchy and crispy.. but it was seasoned well.. nothing was salty at all .. it actually could've used some like the greens it was just missing that kick and the Mac and cheese was basic the food is not bad just standard. The dessert really stood out .. also the homemade drinks are super sweet we had to add ice and water so for $8 for 2 drinks overpriced .. but hey I would try again.. the shrimp were really good perfectly cooked.. try it for yourself!!

The food and service is fantastic. Always on point. I love supporting this family business and the $1 shrimp are a weekly pleasure. Wish they were open on Mondays and Tuesdays and had later hours daily

Overall, our food was ok. The cabbage, string beans and greens were too salty, too much hot sauce and liquid smoke added. The fried wings were good, salmon was cooked perfectly, and the candied yams were great. The seafood pasta salad was good but it needed some real crabmeat in it or salmon, it was a lot of imitation crab, but I'd order it again. I'll give them another try and order something different.
