Delectable!!!! This is the best chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life, hands down!! I tried the hot it wasn't too much or too little, just enough! The cheese fries were spectacular and that milkshake! So let me note that I got vanilla shake. The inside of the cup was drizzled with caramel as well as bite sized pieces of ice cream cone sprinkled throughout.

Tender and flavorful chicken. I enjoyed the banana pudding. I would recommend getting the sauce on the side for everything. It's pretty heavy and can overwhelm the flavor of everything else. The sliders are more like a full chicken sandwich. I would recommend overall if you're looking to try something other than Chick-fil-A or KFC.

I'd been to the original Asad's on the Boulevard and the hot chicken was worth the hype, but it came with a long line and wait time with no way to order ahead. I was excited to see this secondary location open in Bensalem, since it offers online ordering. It is also a storefront with an inside space located in a strip mall, compared to the original Asad's stand in the lot of a gas station. The online ordering interface gives an estimated wait time which I've seen range from 10 to 25 minutes, depending on the time of day I was ordering. The estimate was accurate each time I've been. The chicken was as good as I expected. It's difficult for me to say how it compares to the original Asad's without doing a direct side-by-side taste test, but I think the Bensalem location stands on its own as exceptionally delicious hot chicken--with the added convenience of online ordering and a larger location.

So like everyone else, I've heard the hype and seen the viral videos of Asad's Hot Chicken on Cottman Avenue. But then I saw that there's an outpost in Bensalem which was easier for parking as it's in a strip mall. Wife and I decided to check out this restaurant.Once we got inside this no-seat place, there were several people waiting for their orders, and after I placed mine several more were coming in especially for food delivery services. The food was ready relatively quickly, and we were out the door into the car.No burgers here; just the chicken sliders, tenders, fries, shakes, desserts of banana pudding, and smoothies. The levels of spice range from: none, mild, hot, extra hot, and reaper. I ordered some loaded fries with no spice, and a two slider with fries - one with no spice and one with mild.I dove into the loaded fries in the car. Loaded with lots of cut up tenders and overloaded with the special sauce which was a thick ketchup/Mayo blend or I felt was like a Japanese Yum Yum sauce. There may have been some cheese, too? There was no coleslaw in there. For the sliders, the special sauce was too much. The pickles were good, but honestly I could not tell a difference in the mild vs no spice. The fries were crunchy at first, but not by the time I got home. Overall, a very messy meal that was tasty, but nothing special enough for a specific return trip for me. I can only imagine what the hot, extra hot, or reaper would have tasted like. I think I also would have much more enjoyed the food if there wasn't as much special sauce dousing the loaded fries and sliders. And they even give you extra ramekins of the sauce in the meals.A bit over $30 for the loaded fries #6 and two sliders with fries #2. Friendly service, no seating, lots of customers, better than the Cottman Ave. store?

Been recommended to come and try this place out so many times and I'm glad I listened. I placed my order online and it was ready for pickup within 25-30 minutes. When I went to go pick it up, there was quite a line waiting inside. I ordered Asad's #2 that has two sliders and fries on the side and asked for the hot spice for my food. By far the best chicken sandwich I've ever had and the fries were still very crispy by the time I got home to eat. Honestly those fries are amazing. Place is pretty tiny, only for pick ups only and they probably do delivery as well. There's no seated area where you can sit and eat just fyi. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a chicken sandwich spot. There's other stuff on the menu that I would like to try so I'll definitely be back.

I really like Asad's Hot Chicken and frequent the Rhawnhurst location whenever I'm in the Northeast area so when I saw Asad's had a new second location and I happened to be in the area, I had to check it out. The second location is pretty comparable to the first location but I think the visit fell a little short of my expectations. One reason was the wait time. So I'm used to the longer wait time at Asad's (which is usually around half an hour) but I think it's worth the wait because the food is good, fried food usually takes a minimum of 20 minutes to make, and they're a popular place that always has a line. I typically order in person but I had heard that, if you order through Uber Eats as a pick up order, you can save a bit of wait time so I decided to try ordering ahead through the app. I don't know if that really made a difference because I ended up waiting for an hour for the food to be ready. Besides the longer-than-usual wait time, the quality of the food wasn't quite as good as it usually is at the Rhawnhurst location. I ordered what I usually order: the Tender Wrap and Slider w/ Fries. The tender wrap and the fries were both the same quality as what you can get at the Rhawnhurst location. The slider, however, was quite dry. So much so that I didn't really want to finish the sandwich. That may have been due to the chicken being rather large and probably could have been juicier if it was flatter.Would I go back? : Maybe. This location is sometimes more convenient for me to get to and has better parking than the Rhawnhurst location. This experience could have been a one off in terms of wait time and food quality but, for the most part, the food is comparable to the Rhawnhurst location if you've been wanting to try Asad's.

We have an Asad's hot chicken in the area! Was real excited about this after seeing so many reels on IG about it. Was relieved to know it lived up to the hype! I got mild my first try because I wasn't familiar with the spice levels. It still had a nice amount of heat. I had a slider and loaded fries. The chunks of chicken in the fries were plentiful and were complimented with cheese and a sauce similar to that of raising canes. The slider was big and probably more on the side of an actual sandwich which I have no complaints here about that. The location is take out only. Looking forward to my next visit.

Place was really small with no seating. To be honest I was very disappointed. It's not that good. I'd rather go and eat at Chick-fil-A. It would taste better. Banana pudding was OK but not the best. And my order was missing. Two items had to go back, I don't think I would eat here again

I was super excited to check out the hype of Asad's hot chicken but was sadly disappointed! I went to the Bensalem location so the order and pickup process was quick. I got the 2 spicy chicken sandwich platter with fries. The fries were good, hot and crispy but the chicken sandwich were ehhhh. I asked for the hottest sauce on the chicken and I don't know if they got the sauce wrong but it was sooooo mild like not even a hint of spice or heat. I also did not like that it wasn't a chicken sandwich really but moreso a large chicken tender between a buns. I was eating just bun without chicken for half the sandwich. Personally I think it's overhyped and overrated.

Hot Chicken is a cultural thing right now, and Asad's is doing its best to take full advantage of it. It appears to be succeeding. Their sliders and tenders are very good. The chicken is thick, tender and juicy whether in a sandwich bun with cole slaw, pickle and Thousand Island-like Asad sauce and nicely wrapped in logo emblazoned paper, or a large slab of breaded and fried breast resting on their decent crispy fries. I was quite happy with both, although I chose low heat option so I could focus on the basic chicken product without distraction by add on scovils. The fries were crunchy when hot, a bit starchy after they cooled. But, isn't the real question whether Asad's is superior to Chick Fil-A or Popeye's? To my tongue it is not. They are all variations on a theme; all enjoyable and all worthwhile depending on personal taste. This Asad's in Bensalem has a small side dining room, and is plugged in with Uber Eats for those who like to order online and specify time for pick up. I found that I had a ten minute wait after arrival, after ordering two hour ahead. No biggie. Staff was hustling to stay on top of the orders. So, why does the Asad Chicken look pissed off?
