"I haven't 5 star'd in a very long time. Happily, I am giving 5 very well-deserved stars to A Touch of Cuba. Physically, the space is attractive; a "touch" of Cuban artistry without overdoing it. The servers are excellent - knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. The food, I mean, the FOOD!!! OUT OF THE WORLD!!!!PLEASE DO NOT NOT EAT HERE!!! I promise you will tell all your friends about A Touch of Cuba!!!!‼"
"Do not judge a book by its cover! Tucked away like a speakeasy in Little Haiti, you'll find a wonderful gem run by Chef Franco and his wife. From the warmest welcome to the exquisite dishes, you drown in delicacy, and the cocktail pairings are just insane. Listen to their website advice of not driving, the wine is as strong as they warn you. My husband and I are SUSHILOVERS, and still talking about a memorable night, all our fellow diners in this intimate setup were blown away as well. A MUST DO in Miami, worth every cent."
"Before I begin my review, I want to say that we were impressed and loved this new restaurant! The vibe is that of being one with nature, foliage, and bright flowers.Yesterday we decided to try a new restaurant in Miami Shores, which is a growing area. Sins opened about 4 months ago and already has a very good rating. That says a lot to me. They must be good. We were cordially welcomed at the front door by Valentina, who also was our server. She is very outgoing and efficient. It was fun to get to know her.The menu has so many good dishes on.it, but we decided to try one of their lunch specials. It is $25 per person and includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert. We both picked the same thing: the Short Ribs with mashed potatoes, the Cassava fritters, and the Carrot Cake with ice cream. It was filling and delicious! All of the choices sounded good.I must mention that the service was above expectations here. It was definitely high-end treatment. Fast, efficient, friendly, and impressive! They all are great at team work. I can't wait to go back.If you like to party, then the night to be there is Friday nite from 7:30 pm until closing. Live music, pop, hip, rock, soft, etc.Parking was on the street, and we found a spot right in front of the restaurant. The restaurant features double doors, so it has wheelchair accessibility."
"This casual Japanese sushi restaurant located in the Aventura area of Miami has many options to choose from. We all shared Edamame $5, a salad $4.95 and Vegetable Fried Rice $11.95. Then we shared several rolls. Most dishes were very good but some average. The place could be updated."
"Old Tom's Sports Bar is a fun enough bar with a cool ambiance and vibe. The staff is friendly and professional and the drinks were cold and refreshing.Nice enough place and it seemed to have a good following in the neighborhood. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend a visit here."
"Dubs is amazing from the unique location, to the amazing customer service down to the delicious and unequivocally flavorful food. My family and I were throughly pleased from start to finish. I had the lobster roll which is one of the best I've had in FL so please be sure to keep that on the menu as I'll definitely be a returning customer. We also indulged in the shrimp and grits which was perfect for a lack of better words. My Husband loved the steak and the cornbread which is rare for him as he's a picky eater. I love that it's inside the Blue Green Market as I've been wanting to checkout this place anyway so after brunch I was able to kill 2 birds in one stone . Run don't walk for a reservation as they're currently reservation only!"
"Yum. Yum. Yum. Yum. Amazing food. Perfect outdoor Miami vibe that really does transport you into the Aegean Sea! We loved all the blue decor with natural woods and fibers throughout the space. Oh, did I mention most of the restaurant is open air so you'll truly feel transported to another locale. If there is one dish you cannot skip it's the grilled halloumi. I don't care if you're vegan. Not today. You're going to set your morals aside so that you can enjoy the food of the gods."
"We were staying at KAYAK so you know we had to visit Layla during our stay! After checking in, we hadn't eaten yet so we ate some quick bites before dinner. There was no one eating there at the time so we were able to choose the table we wanted. Both interior and exterior design were beautiful. As much as I wanted to dine outside, it was way too hot and I didn't want to get eaten up by mosquitoes! We all ordered some lattes to keep us energized for the rest of the night. I haven't had Mediterranean food too much so I left the ordering up to my friends. We started with the Babaganoush, which was delicious! Like our waiter said, even if you don't like eggplant, you will still like this dish. This was all very true!Shakshuka was to die for! It came in a little skillet, fresh out the oven, and it was sooo tasty! I definitely never had something like this before. Paired perfectly with the bread, we had to ask for more bread!Shawarma Chicken was also delicious! We were getting full but it was definitely an excellent ending to our snack meal! Ambiance is wonderful for friends or date night! We didn't get to try out their extended dinner menu but I will definitely be back to try it next time!"
"Pros: We were able to order pretty quickly. The food was delicious. In addition, the food looks great. This restaurant is in a good location. You will feel relaxed in this environment. There are plenty of vegetarian options. Cons: The only complaint I have is that you don't get much food for the cost, so it is a bit pricey. Be prepared to spend some money.Overall score: B+"
"The show of Alexis Valdes was spectacular, and the singer Erick, but the bartender and waitress were very impatient to pick up the plates and were very rude. And prepare the drink and touch his nose. And I was pist off for that and retaliated me, and came and ask me if I was ok. Not Customer service. And very disrespectful."

"I first visited Gitano (@gitano) in Tulum and loved it. It was a delight to see that the restaurant made its way to Miami while preserving its beach bohemian decor. Gitano Miami (@gitanomiami) has wonderful food downstairs and a beautiful rooftop where you can continue to enjoy their craft cocktails.Highly recommend: the kiwi branzino Add me on IG for more recommendations: @miamicheatdays"

The portions were small and the sushi was not fresh. I would not recommend this restaurant to my ex wife and that's saying a lot. The food you receive is not what they show in the pics."
"Noticed this low key white food truck with Indian Cuisine on the side of the truck. It's on the corner of Biscayne and 79th so it's easy to miss but plenty of parking in that tiny lot. We just tried the samosa and it was really good! It had fresh bite to it and got a spicy kick."
"This traditional neighborhood Israeli cafe located in North Miami near Aventura offers great food. We started with fresh orange juice $8 and coffee $4. We had the Ziva Complete $18, the Omllette Croissant $16, and Pita Sabich $16. Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was great."
"We went to celebrate my birthday, so of course we went all out and decided to try three of their most ordered rolls. Each roll is massive, we were not expecting them to be so big, but the challenge was accepted. We were in love with each roll, for me my favorite was the Noe Roll. Uff!! Truly delicious! Their tuna tartar is a must have as well ."
"Vine a Habana Vieja por lunch y me encanto, aparte que los precios son muy buenos para las porciones que sirven, el sabor de la comida es espectacular. Ordenamos un tamal en cazuela, vaca frita con moros y plátanos maduros y hígado a la italiana con puré de papa y vegetales. Todo estaba delicioso, el ambiente es tipo restaurante cubano, todo muy organizado. El servicio muy amable, la señora que nos atendió me encanto el humor que tenía."
"We visited this place since it was just across the street from where we were staying. This restaurant has some interesting decor and gives the vibe of a truly daily catch feeling. We ordered fresh oysters, jambalaya and stone crab claws. The oysters were fresh and didn't have the smell we sometimes find in other places. The jambalaya was tasty too. We've never had stone crab before so we decided to give it a try and it was tasty, different from Dungeness crab. The claws were extremely hard to crack but thankfully they came partially cracked already so it saved us a lot of work. Overall I think this is a nice place and one that I likely will revisit when I'm in Miami again."
"Excellent food and fantastic hospitality from the staff. Sadly, I didn't take any photos of the food and got right to eating however I can say that the lamb platter was cooked to perfection. I hope to return to enjoy more food and take some pics."
"This was a hard review to write. But I decided to be kind with 4 stars -- as my meal was good. But there was a mix of good, not so good, and a few strange things here. The restaurant is located in an unusual area off the main drag on a street that might give one pause when parking. And it is street parking. But there are a number of new hotels in the areas and unsuspecting tourists walking around. It's an area that I definitely would not have walked in at night several years ago. The restaurant is small. There are a limited number of tables close together. So reservations are definitely recommended. When my friend called for reservations, she was told she had called too soon -- and to call back within two weeks that we wanted to dine. Don't sit at the one table near the bathroom, though, you'll hear everything. Our service was good, but leisurely. I assume we were asked to "dine leisurely" and that this is on purpose as there is only one waiter for everyone. He was nice, but calling the gentlemen "captain" and the ladies "madame" can get old about the 10th time... We were given small bruschetta toasts to start -- one tiny one per person -- which were fine. And a basket of strange garlic bread. The bread was sliced from the package rye bread with oil and parsley and not much garlic. They should definitely change this. We skipped appetizers and went right to the entrees. My lasagna was good even with the unusual layer of hard boiled eggs. My husband's lamb pappardelle was served cold so he had it reheated. The pasta was good, but the sauce was disappointing as it didn't have much lamb in it. My friend's gnocchi were okay but nothing special. Her boyfriend liked his shrimp and zucchini over pasta. For dessert, each couple shared some tiramisu. If you like whipped cream, which I do, you will like this version. It was a small piece covered in whipped cream and was light and airy. Another odd thing -- we were charged for our water. We didn't order water. It was immediately poured into glasses from a small supermarket bottle as we were seated. We each got half a bottle in a glass for which we were charged $2.50. The prices are quite expensive. I'm still glad we went here. We had a good time with our friends. But now I know..."
"We came here for an early dinner (6pm) and the place was empty except for us and 2 other tables of 2. The servers were nice and helpful with the menu. It was very romantic there (for me and my hubby and our 2 girls lol). What we swallowed:*SAMPLER PLATTER: Hummus, tzatziki, feta with pita. I love the variety and it was so yummy.*CRISPY CALAMARI: This was so good. Lightly breaded, it reminded me of our time back in Naxos.*CHICKEN SOUVLAKI: This was really good, lemony and fresh, very tasty. My girls loved it.*SEAFOOD PASTA: This was my favorite dish in Greece and this dish did not disappoint. Elegant and flavorful, the was the perfect dish.*BAKLAVA with ICE CREAM: Flaky, cinnamony, sticky... married beautifully with the vanilla ice cream. This was the perfect way to end such a beautiful dinner. This was such an elegant way to end our vacation and I'm glad we ended it here. All the flavors brought us back to our wonderful vacation in Greece and the night was such a relaxing time."
"We got the Chef's Choice Combo platter for dinner to celebrate the winter break. I love getting the platters from Sushi Sake because they are a good buy! Everything was delicious and well presented! We also got a chicken fried rice and a miso soup, which my daughter loved! Minus one star because the wait for pick up always exceeds what they tell you by several minutes and sometimes up to an extra 30 minutes. I actually ended up calling to see if the order was ready this time before picking up."

The Best Meal Ever!I ordered the Red Snapper and it was cooked beautifully! Every bite was delicious. I would eat at this restaurant weekly, if I lived here.My waitress was just as great as the food. She smiled and was very polite. She let me practice my Spanish and she practiced her English which was sweet of her. The inside of the restaurant is small and has limited seating but they have a great space outside with a lot more space. Parking is tight and located behind the restaurant. Please give this place a try!

All I have to say is WOW!!!! Our night at House of Food Porn was truly a magical experience. I have eaten at many different restaurants all over the world, and I have never had a food experience like the one we had here. To start, the restaurant is tiny. They only open up 12 seats a night and everyone starts at the same time, so it's a very familial feel. You are greeted by the host Nikki (who is amazing) and you are sat in a U-shape table, introduced to everyone you are dining with, and given a glass of wine. From there, a real show begins. Chef Franco comes out to tell you about himself and how he came to making Shushi, which in it of itself is very interesting. And then the courses start coming out (many with paired cocktails in beautiful glassware shaped like animals) and you eat before he tells you what you have had. It makes it fun and really encourages you to open up your palate to flavors you may not otherwise have tasted. With every course we were blown away by the uniqueness and absolute explosion of flavors. I couldn't even tell you which Shushi was my favorite as they were all spectacular. If you are ever looking for a truly unique, interactive dining experience full of delicious food, then you MUST try House of Food Porn!

7-1-23NoonMet a dear friend of mine here for lunch. Since she lives in Miami I had her chose. Being we both work ie worked in the industry I knew she would pick someplace fabulous. Well she exceeded my expectations and driving up to get free street parking out front was the cherry on top. They open at noon on Saturday's so we were essentially the first ones here. Note most locals live on Miami time so that means you won't see a soul until several hours later. My friend got a table towards the back against their see through wine cellar. You order still by QR code so my friend pulled the menu up on her phone and me on the online version. We come to find out the online version they didn't update yet and certain items were no longer available. To start we had cocktails myself the lemon drop vodka martini with cotton candy. I skipped the additional added flavor as I figured it would over power the Lemon drop flavor. It was delicious and believe me one drink hit me hard. My friend got the Moscow mule with added passion fruit. We shared all the food and we ordered plenty. To start they have very thin bread sticks on the table with a dipping sauce that was delicious. My friend chose the grilled octopus on corn my favorite and I got the hallucinations shrimps. The shrimp came with very thin slightly toasted bread and was in a sauce with fresh sliced mushrooms and plenty of sliced garlic. If you are ladies that lunch and don't eat much you can stop there. Haha we proceeded to order short ribs that were so tender they fell off the bone into the creamiest of mashed potatoes. Also got the mushroom risotto. Surprise surprise we couldn't even make a dent so I gladly took these home with me. The service was very good and the atmosphere transports you to a far away place like you are on holiday even for a few hours. Definitely would run back here. They literally make everything served absolutely perfect. Also our server Suzanne C told us they had just opened slightly before Covid started.

I went here on a whim with my best friend and was a bit worried considering the amount of people waiting for a seat! However, they were quick to sit us down at the sushi bar and we quickly got serviced by a kind waitress!I ordered, a dragon roll, a side of fried rice and despite being in a corner of the sushi bar we got our food super quick! The restaurant was busy!! But overall it was beautiful decor and had the nicest ambiance! The food was absolutely delicious and fresh and oh my goodness I wanted more and even got some to go! The price was very reasonable and I know for sure I will be back!

The only item that was not enjoyed was the Quesadilla, it was too greasy.4Wings were very good, Ribs too, and the rest liked their different menu items. There is an old car front as you come into the place, it looks cool.

Loved the fact that this spot was located in a trendy farmer's market. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The ingredients were fresh. The sitting area was an open sitting concept which was sunny and breezy. The owner gave us insight into his concept for the restaurant. It's black owned and the flavors proved it. The food was delicious, had bold flavors and I left stuffed! I'll definitely be back here to get some more great food and support such a cool establishment!

Cute restaurant with a great atmosphere. The seating is all outside in the back. I came here at night and even with the lighting, I thought it was a bit dark.I ordered the Manti Dumplings, which was a very interesting dish; it's beef topped with a lot of yogurt and spices. I enjoyed the dish as I've never had anything like it before. I also had the Baklava for dessert. It was very sweet and delicious!Make sure to make reservations since this restaurant is popular and always crowded. It was very difficult to find parking in the area. I finally found a spot after circling the area for over 30 minutes.

I've been wanting to check out Layla for dinner but ended up there today for brunch. We made a reservation for mid afternoon. It was quite empty so it was nice to sit and enjoy the restaurant decor. The indoor and outdoor is nicely decorated. Our server greeted us and we ordered two lattes ($6 each), the Layla breakfast (2 eggs, toast, tomato salad & za'atar potatoes-$13) and Challah French toast ($16). My review is closer to a 3.5 but a 3 doesn't feel just, so I've selected a 4 star. Our food arrived before our lattes which was a bit odd but still okay as we were able to enjoy them when the meal. We were sharing the two plates so they were kind enough to split it into two plates. The eggs were tasty, as was the little sourdough bread, and salad. The potatoes were underwhelming. They didn't have a roasted texture, and the seasoning was not za'atar. On the menu they list parsley home fries and za'atar roasted potatoes so I definitely think we were given the wrong potato side, as it's supposed to be roasted potatoes not home fries. I even called the server over and he said it was correct and offered me za'atar seasoning but I didn't take him up on it as I didn't want to just toss seasoning on the parsley potatoes. The French toast was very tasty, it was just a smaller portion than expected for the price. It was like one large slice of challah bread but the fruits, whipped cream, and pistachio crumble were nicely flavored. The coffees were okay. The espresso tasted burnt. They automatically charge a 20% gratuity which is fine as service was pretty good, but I think an 18% automatic would be more reasonable. The decor is really nice, there was room to work on cleanliness as the floors were quite dirty. The server was kind. There's definitely a lot of potential at Layla! I want to come back for dinner and be able to enjoy the lovely looking patio.
Visit Restaurant Page"The view definitely steals the show at Il Gabbiano (@ilgabbianorestaurant), but the food and service are top-notch! As soon as you are seated, they serve you some caprese with a side of balsamic glaze and a bread basket. We started with the Calamari Fritti, which was the perfect level of lightly breaded and came with a fresh homemade tomato sauce. It's one of the best I've tried, for sure. The Chicken Milanese and Snapper entrées had excellent flavor, as well. This is definitely one to add to the list!"
"Really cute vibe, we came on a weeknight as tourists and really loved how the ambiance was. For 10 pm it was relatively empty but seems like a great place for a date night. I'm sure it's equally as lovely during the day time as there's a pool and lounge-y area too. The waitress was so sweet and thoughtful in making suggestions for our order and cracking jokes with us. The drink prices are pretty lofty but that's the standard for the area - isn't it? We had some rum and mezcal drinks - they have a wide variety of sweet and strength levels for the cocktails. The fries were also great."
"Coconuts Bar and Grill is a good hotel bar that is a good place to sit and watch the world pass by for a moment or three. Prices are a bit high, but otherwise a good experience."
"After the beach, we were looking for Cuban sammie but everything in the area seemed like tourist traps. I don't think Cuban sandwiches should cost $15. Then, I found Cubaton via Yelp and it looked decent. So we stopped in on a Sunday at around 4. I had Pan con Lechon (slow-roasted mojo-marinated pork, mojo onion, & garlic-cilantro aioli) and Hubby had the Original Hot Honey Cubano (slow-roasted mojo-marinated pork, smoked ham, melted swiss, pickled jalapeño, mustard, & hot honey). I was expecting the pan con lechon to be dry but thankfully it wasn't. I liked the pickled onions. The sandwich could have used more aioli. The hot honey cubano was meh. I think there was just too much going on there, but we took that risk. Should have just stuck to the original. Maybe that one is better. It's not bad if you happen to be in the area, but if I was looking for a go-to Cubano shop, this wouldn't be it. P.S. Check out their bathroom. It has a fun theme."
"Small place. Huge croissants. I was very tempted to try one of their massive croissants, but ended up going with their crepes. I had the Nutella Crepe with bananas and strawberries. It was a bit thick with more layers than the typical crepe, but still tasted good."
"A lil Thai & Sushi spot in Miami. Guys, I've found it. The best dynamite appetizer I've had thus far on my search. Came here randomly after working out at a Youfit nearby & it did not disappoint! They have great Thai & sushi options. We came specifically craving Pad See Ew but when we got there, it wasn't on the menu. We can confirm, they do have it & it is gooooood. Of course, I had to get the dynamite appetizer. It came in a good size & had a mix of all the seafood with the close to perfect sauce to top it off, all on a bed of rice. The mix included shrimp, scallops, imitation crab, mushroom, onions, and more that I currently can't recall. The perfect combo and a great appetizer to share! We also got the Melting roll which had tempura cooked salmon in it. This roll was super good & glad we got this and the two other items to share. The inside of the restaurant is a good size and had low lighting (in a good way) despite being pretty early in the afternoon. It looked like a lot do people chose this spot to take a date or family and friends. The service was super fast & friendly! I love how the menu also had photos of the rolls (although I wish they had descriptions) and wish more sushi spot had photos of their rolls. Overall, a great place to grab lunch or dinner. And, of course, I can't wait to come back again for the dynamite appetizer!"
"Everything you get here is excellent! Always super fresh and the staff is very polite, helpful and friendly. Pedro G must be doing something right as he has opened other successful locations throughout Miami.Try the Laura and Fusion rolls.. the Inari ceviche is really out of control. If you're near any location, give them a try! We've been coming here for a few years and never had a bad experience at any location."
"Located in Little Havana right on the Main Street of the area, this is one of the most recommended spots to visit. It's a popular tourist spot and a stop for guided tours, so it definitely gets busy! The restaurant is cute inside. Very eclectic and bright. Not a ton of seating, but they have outdoor seating as well. It was a bit loud, but we were ok. We ordered pina colada, croquets & a Cuban sandwich! The pina colada had cinnamon, which my husband loved, but I didn't care for - the croquets, however, were delicious! My husband loved the Cuban and the "fries" are reminiscent of Pik'nik chips of our childhood. Definitely glad we stopped in to try it."
"I am glad I had the opportunity to dine here. Persian cuisine is slightly similar to Mediterranean cuisine. Love the Persian tea. I had it hot and cold. Although everything looked good on the menu, which is located under the glass top tables, I ordered the Salmon side kabob and the Koobideh kabob platter with Lentil & Raisin Rice. My meal was very tasty. Although the restaurant is small it is a great place to have lunch and dinner. The plate sizes are huge. There is a separate menu for lunch. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive."
"This is a mother and son family business and I ABSOLUTELY love this place. It's small Cafe, located near the courthouse in downtown, Miami. I ordered the pan con bistec (which was well seasoned) with tomato, lettuce and potatoes sticks..ugh so good! It was big enough to shared with my coworker, I was actually full with my half. The service here has always been top notch, very attentive and just genuinely nice people. Overall, the food is amazing, and cooked from scratch (everything is good).I definitely recommend checking them if you're in the area, I promise you won't be disappointed and the prices are reasonable ."
"Popped on for a late lunch at The Lobster Shack. We found this place last year and it was delicious. The server was friendly and attentive and the restaurant is nice and casual. I ordered two grilled fish tacos and a shrimp taco with a side of fries. All very good. We'll certainly be back."
"I had dinner last night at Mundi's on Dania Boulevard in the heart of Dania Beach Florida. Does let the size of this place fool you, great things come in small packages. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive and they all worked so well together to help make my dining experience a great success. After looking through their menu I decided to order a tried and true winner, Chicken Parmigiana. This is a large portion and certainly enough to share. Somehow, I managed to down the whole thing... I also got a Sade Salad to start and it was delicious. They brought out a couple of slices of oven fresh bread and a saucer of oil with a hint of garlic that I absolutely loved. I should've saved some of the bread to sop up the remaining sauce from my Chicken Parmigiana but at that point I was absolutely stuffed. I didn't have enough room for dessert, I'll try to pace myself next time because I spied some wonderful offerings on their dessert menu.If you love great Italian cuisine, check out Mundi's, you'll be happy that you did and you can rest assured that you are supporting our local restaurant community! E ora si mangia! (And now we eat!)"
