Sins opened about 4 months ago and already has a very good rating. That says a lot to me. They must be good. We were cordially welcomed at the front door by Valentina, who also was our server. She is very outgoing and efficient. It was fun to get to know her.The menu has so many good dishes on.it, but we decided to try one of their lunch specials. It is $25 per person and includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert. We both picked the same thing: the Short Ribs with mashed potatoes, the Cassava fritters, and the Carrot Cake with ice cream. "We were staying at KAYAK so you know we had to visit Layla during our stay! After checking in, we hadn't eaten yet so we ate some quick bites before dinner. There was no one eating there at the time so we were able to choose the table we wanted. Both interior and exterior design were beautiful. As much as I wanted to dine outside, it was way too hot and I didn't want to get eaten up by mosquitoes!We all ordered some lattes to keep us energized for the rest of the night. I haven't had Mediterranean food too much so I left the ordering up to my friends.We started with the Babaganoush, which was delicious! Like our waiter said, even if you don't like eggplant, you will still like this dish. This was all very true!Shakshuka was to die for! It came in a little skillet, fresh out the oven, and it was sooo tasty! I definitely never had something like this before. Paired perfectly with the bread, we had to ask for more bread!Shawarma Chicken was also delicious! We were getting full but it was definitely an excellent ending to our snack meal! Ambiance is wonderful for friends or date night! We didn't get to try out their extended dinner menu but I will definitely be back to try it next time!"

The portions were small and the sushi was not fresh. I would not recommend this restaurant to my ex wife and that's saying a lot. The food you receive is not what they show in the pics."

"Noticed this low key white food truck with Indian Cuisine on the side of the truck. It's on the corner of Biscayne and 79th so it's easy to miss but plenty of parking in that tiny lot. We just tried the samosa and it was really good! It had fresh bite to it and got a spicy kick."

"We visited this place since it was just across the street from where we were staying. This restaurant has some interesting decor and gives the vibe of a truly daily catch feeling.We ordered fresh oysters, jambalaya and stone crab claws. The oysters were fresh and didn't have the smell we sometimes find in other places. The jambalaya was tasty too. We've never had stone crab before so we decided to give it a try and it was tasty, different from Dungeness crab. The claws were extremely hard to crack but thankfully they came partially cracked already so it saved us a lot of work. Overall I think this is a nice place and one that I likely will revisit when I'm in Miami again."

"This was a hard review to write. But I decided to be kind with 4 stars -- as my meal was good. But there was a mix of good, not so good, and a few strange things here. The restaurant is located in an unusual area off the main drag on a street that might give one pause when parking. And it is street parking. But there are a number of new hotels in the areas and unsuspecting tourists walking around. It's an area that I definitely would not have walked in at night several years ago. The restaurant is small. There are a limited number of tables close together. So reservations are definitely recommended. When my friend called for reservations, she was told she had called too soon -- and to call back within two weeks that we wanted to dine. Don't sit at the one table near the bathroom, though, you'll hear everything. Our service was good, but leisurely. I assume we were asked to "dine leisurely" and that this is on purpose as there is only one waiter for everyone. He was nice, but calling the gentlemen "captain" and the ladies "madame" can get old about the 10th time... We were given small bruschetta toasts to start -- one tiny one per person -- which were fine. And a basket of strange garlic bread. The bread was sliced from the package rye bread with oil and parsley and not much garlic. They should definitely change this. We skipped appetizers and went right to the entrees. My lasagna was good even with the unusual layer of hard boiled eggs. My husband's lamb pappardelle was served cold so he had it reheated. The pasta was good, but the sauce was disappointing as it didn't have much lamb in it. My friend's gnocchi were okay but nothing special. Her boyfriend liked his shrimp and zucchini over pasta. For dessert, each couple shared some tiramisu. If you like whipped cream, which I do, you will like this version. It was a small piece covered in whipped cream and was light and airy. Another odd thing -- we were charged for our water. We didn't order water. It was immediately poured into glasses from a small supermarket bottle as we were seated. We each got half a bottle in a glass for which we were charged $2.50. The prices are quite expensive. I'm still glad we went here. We had a good time with our friends. But now I know..."

"We came here for an early dinner (6pm) and the place was empty except for us and 2 other tables of 2. The servers were nice and helpful with the menu. It was very romantic there (for me and my hubby and our 2 girls lol). What we swallowed:*SAMPLER PLATTER: Hummus, tzatziki, feta with pita. I love the variety and it was so yummy.*CRISPY CALAMARI: This was so good. Lightly breaded, it reminded me of our time back in Naxos.*CHICKEN SOUVLAKI: This was really good, lemony and fresh, very tasty. My girls loved it.*SEAFOOD PASTA: This was my favorite dish in Greece and this dish did not disappoint. "We got the Chef's Choice Combo platter for dinner to celebrate the winter break. I love getting the platters from Sushi Sake because they are a good buy! Everything was delicious and well presented! We also got a chicken fried rice and a miso soup, which my daughter loved! Minus one star because the wait for pick up always exceeds what they tell you by several minutes and sometimes up to an extra 30 minutes. I actually ended up calling to see if the order was ready this time before picking up."

"The view definitely steals the show at Il Gabbiano (@ilgabbianorestaurant), but the food and service are top-notch! As soon as you are seated, they serve you some caprese with a side of balsamic glaze and a bread basket. We started with the Calamari Fritti, which was the perfect level of lightly breaded and came with a fresh homemade tomato sauce. It's one of the best I've tried, for sure. The Chicken Milanese and Snapper entrées had excellent flavor, as well.This is definitely one to add to the list!"

"Really cute vibe, we came on a weeknight as tourists and really loved how the ambiance was. For 10 pm it was relatively empty but seems like a great place for a date night. I'm sure it's equally as lovely during the day time as there's a pool and lounge-y area too. The waitress was so sweet and thoughtful in making suggestions for our order and cracking jokes with us. The drink prices are pretty lofty but that's the standard for the area - isn't it? We had some rum and mezcal drinks - they have a wide variety of sweet and strength levels for the cocktails. "After the beach, we were looking for Cuban sammie but everything in the area seemed like tourist traps. I don't think Cuban sandwiches should cost $15. Then, I found Cubaton via Yelp and it looked decent. So we stopped in on a Sunday at around 4. I had Pan con Lechon (slow-roasted mojo-marinated pork, mojo onion, & garlic-cilantro aioli) and Hubby had the Original Hot Honey Cubano (slow-roasted mojo-marinated pork, smoked ham, melted swiss, pickled jalapeño, mustard, & hot honey). I was expecting the pan con lechon to be dry but thankfully it wasn't. I liked the pickled onions. The sandwich could have used more aioli. The hot honey cubano was meh. I think there was just too much going on there, but we took that risk. Should have just stuck to the original. Maybe that one is better. It's not bad if you happen to be in the area, but if I was looking for a go-to Cubano shop, this wouldn't be it. P.S. Check out their bathroom. It has a fun theme."

"Small place. Huge croissants. I was very tempted to try one of their massive croissants, but ended up going with their crepes. I had the Nutella Crepe with bananas and strawberries. It was a bit thick with more layers than the typical crepe, but still tasted good."

"A lil Thai & Sushi spot in Miami. Guys, I've found it. The best dynamite appetizer I've had thus far on my search. Came here randomly after working out at a Youfit nearby & it did not disappoint! They have great Thai & sushi options. We came specifically craving Pad See Ew but when we got there, it wasn't on the menu. We can confirm, they do have it & it is gooooood. Of course, I had to get the dynamite appetizer. It came in a good size & had a mix of all the seafood with the close to perfect sauce to top it off, all on a bed of rice. The mix included shrimp, scallops, imitation crab, mushroom, onions, and more that I currently can't recall. The perfect combo and a great appetizer to share! We also got the Melting roll which had tempura cooked salmon in it. This roll was super good & glad we got this and the two other items to share. The inside of the restaurant is a good size and had low lighting (in a good way) despite being pretty early in the afternoon. It looked like a lot do people chose this spot to take a date or family and friends. The service was super fast & friendly! I love how the menu also had photos of the rolls (although I wish they had descriptions) and wish more sushi spot had photos of their rolls. Overall, a great place to grab lunch or dinner. And, of course, I can't wait to come back again for the dynamite appetizer!"

"Located in Little Havana right on the Main Street of the area, this is one of the most recommended spots to visit. It's a popular tourist spot and a stop for guided tours, so it definitely gets busy! The restaurant is cute inside. Very eclectic and bright. Not a ton of seating, but they have outdoor seating as well. It was a bit loud, but we were ok. We ordered pina colada, croquets & a Cuban sandwich! The pina colada had cinnamon, which my husband loved, but I didn't care for - the croquets, however, were delicious! My husband loved the Cuban and the "fries" are reminiscent of Pik'nik chips of our childhood. Definitely glad we stopped in to try it."

Although everything looked good on the menu, which is located under the glass top tables, I ordered the Salmon side kabob and the Koobideh kabob platter with Lentil & Raisin Rice. My meal was very tasty. Although the restaurant is small it is a great place to have lunch and dinner. The plate sizes are huge. There is a separate menu for lunch. The service here has always been top notch, very attentive and just genuinely nice people. "I had dinner last night at Mundi's on Dania Boulevard in the heart of Dania Beach Florida. Does let the size of this place fool you, great things come in small packages.The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive and they all worked so well together to help make my dining experience a great success.After looking through their menu I decided to order a tried and true winner, Chicken Parmigiana. This is a large portion and certainly enough to share. Somehow, I managed to down the whole thing... I also got a Sade Salad to start and it was delicious. They brought out a couple of slices of oven fresh bread and a saucer of oil with a hint of garlic that I absolutely loved. I should've saved some of the bread to sop up the remaining sauce from my Chicken Parmigiana but at that point I was absolutely stuffed. I didn't have enough room for dessert, I'll try to pace myself next time because I spied some wonderful offerings on their dessert menu.If you love great Italian cuisine, check out Mundi's, you'll be happy that you did and you can rest assured that you are supporting our local restaurant community!
