"All the happy hour drinks tasted the same, I wasn't a fan of any of them. I'd recommend just ordering a regular drink off the menu. The ceviche was delicious I loved it with the sweet potato crisps and it's a good portion for happy hour. I really didn't need anything else to snack on. This is a cool swanky place in midtown, I'd recommend if you want a more intimate setting."

"Definitely one of the top 3 Spanish restaurants in Miami! We only had three starters - croquetas, tabla de jamón ibérico y manchego, and the octopus (pulpo a la plancha) and everything was exquisite! The jamón just melts in your mouth, the pulpo was perfectly done, and the croquetas were 100% legit. Server was very attentive and gave good recommendations. The place is quite tiny and the patrons seem to know good Spanish food when they have it!"

Let me point out the Pros, the restaurant is clean and the service is outstanding, they have a full bar right at the entrance and the restaurant is towards the back, our waitress was very nice, attentive and helpful with the menu, we ordered Sangria, croquetas, fried calamari, potato salad, pan con tomate, serrano ham and Paella, everything tasted heavenly, the croquetas are huge, portions are hearty and flavorful, authentic Spanish and delicious, also the portions justify the prices. Now for the Cons...located in Downtown Miami, you already know parking and getting there it's kind of a hustle. I was deceived by their advertising and though this was more of a food hall or food stations, but it is not, is just a restaurant. This place has a LOT of potential, if they would add a little corner with live entertainment, or pump up the music, it would change the whole ambiance, the time we spent there, i could barely hear a little of their playlist and they had a good selection of songs, but the volume was so so low we were literally BORED to the core, the restaurant has no windows or no were to look at, it's a little bunker so you have to find your own way of entertainment, we even ran out of conversations, lol, it really needs more than food to make me want to go back again. My biggest throw off was dessert, we ordered the cheesecake or tarta de queso, and it was a sad piece of New York Style cheesecake!...with such great food why even bother and put that crap, sorry for the expression, on the menu, what a way of ruining the whole dinning experience! Everything was going great until dessert time, like it's so easy to make authentic Spanish desserts and why did you decide to put that vive killer on the menu?! Overall experience was good but those little details i mention make up for a lot, i wish somebody from management could read this and take those details in consideration because i really liked their food."

"We had the privilege to visit Tabanco for their soft opening and let me just tell you this place was nothing short of delicious. This is a new family owned and operated Spanish tapas restaurant. That's exactly what you get when you come in; a family sense of service. When you walk in you can tell all the details that went into making this place look beautiful. My favorite part was the wine wall. Just this beautiful wall with so much antique bottles of wine. It really makes you feel like you've taken a trip to Spain. The food was amazing. Everything we tried was fantastic. My favorite was a potato with shrimp dish they had us try. It really made me want to go back for more. We also tired a cut of ham (I forgot the name) but I swear that just melted in your mouth. The quality of food was so fresh and you can see how the chefs plated every dish with love and admiration. The chefs (also family I might add) are from Spain and come with a few Michelin stars under their belts so you know everything you are about to have here is going to be great. The wine! I can't believe I didn't start with this sooner because I love me some wine! I loved the Cab they served. My husband and I had two cups and I think alone I would have had the whole bottle. If you want to support and family restaurant please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to this new gem in Coral Gables."

"I dined at Crazy About You twice while visiting Miami. That never happens when I'm on vacation, which shows how much I liked the restaurant. I wasn't able to get a table because they were booked on both nights, so I sat at the bar outside. The view outside is magnificent at night, so it was actually the perfect spot to sit in the restaurant.The first night, I had the Black Truffle Linguine. It was delicious!! The entree also came with a side, so I tried the Smoked Mahi Mahi Dip.The second night, I had the Wagyu Double Cheeseburger. It tasted great, and I recommend it also.By the way, the drinks here are awesome!"

We drove by,and decided to go in. We got a nice table for three near the open kitchen. We were in the mood for light fare and what better place than Tapas.Brussels Sprouts,Kale & Beet Salad, Tabla de Jamón y Queso, Berenjenas con Miel. Pudín de Chocolate con Helado de Avellanas y Cañas, Agua Gaseada Refresco.Everything was delicious. My favorite dishes were the Brussels Sprouts and the Salad. El Manchego & Ibérico do not need explanation. The Berenjena had a very smoked taste, not as sweet as I expected Service was attentive and prompt.Love the Ambiance.We need to go back to explore more the menu.

I would highly recommend this spot for drinks. The bartender was friendly and accomodating. The vibe was cute for a Saturday night. The place feels hidden because it's hard to find (directly next to, basically connected to Grails in an abandoned looking building). A nice surprise when walking inside and seeing a bustling simply decorated but colorful interior.Came for dinner on a Saturday night. Ended up only getting drinks. One member of my party had food preferences (i.e. does not eat beef, pork and minimal seafood) that the small menu was not friendly for. The menu is very small - there are a total of 3 entrees. The entire menu is absent of chicken items altogether, which is still surprising. Be sure to closely look at the dinner menu before arriving and share it with all who would be planning to dine. Learned the hard way this is not a place to surprise someone with.Our reservation was for 7pm. We made several attempts throughout the day to change it to 8pm but the phone is not attended. The host was very accomodating for our group of 5 when we arrived, so he made space for us at the bar to have drinks while waiting.I do look forward to returning for drinks. Feels like a chill way to spend an enjoyable Saturday night.

This is the fourth time I visit this place and it never disappoints. We were seated within 2 minutes of arriving. Saturday around 4 pm. Parking is a bit tight because it's located in Pembroke gardens and that shopping center is always packed. I must say my wife's family is spanish and we enjoy a good spanish meal. Compared to food in Madrid this place meets quality and expectations. We had: Pulpo a la gallega: amazing, but different from fried octopus but totally worth it. Patatas bravas: potato with a sauce you just try Croquetas - ham: very good a bit pricey in my opinion for croquetas but they are very good Paella mixta: reason for the 4 stars. First time I don't like it as much, missing salt and flavor, I did let them know as the other times I've been there the paella has been good Stuffed peppers: I'm not a fan but my wife loved them stuffed with fish and she claims they were amazing For any beer fans I recommend you try Estrella de Galicia. Very unique flavor and it was a fave on my visits to Spain so it's great being able to have it hereService was very very good , we were served by Richard who was very nice and attentive to everything we needed.

What an absolute hidden gem, my father in law selected this restaurant for his wife's birthday this past Saturday and I was pleasantly surprised!The dining area is so intimate, with the lighting and the set up of the dining chairs and tables. I keep seeing the reviews mention hidden prices & it being expensive, but what tapas restaurant have you gone to that isn't? I wouldn't say this be an every week restaurant, but it's 100% worth your time.The servers, host, well EVERYONE was so pleasant. They even brought out the chef from Spain to greet the table and that was such a nice experience. I mentioned it felt like we were among family.Absolutely all the food was delicious, I don't have a single complaint. We ordered so much and tried a little of everything, the appetizers were tapas style the entrees and dessert were regular sized.I'd highly recommend:Croquetas de Queso Croquetas de BacalaoEscargotChorizo My entree was the sea bass with mashed potatoes which was spectacular, I also tried some of the zucchini, eggplant, squash and tomatoes sides on everyone else's plates and I could have ordered that by itself. I finished off the meal with a pear and manchego dessert which was refreshing on the palette. Love this place!

I really wanted to love this place due to my fondness of Spanish tapas as wine, but it fell short of my expectations. Upon entering the place was mostly empty for dinner. Maybe 2 other small parties. The food was over salty. Nothing too memorable. The wine was nice. The ambiance, while nice felt a bit stiff. Wait service was what you'd expect. There better alternatives in the area. I really wouldn't rush back.Oh I also was a little let down that the menu they had online had items I was looking forward to trying vs the slimmed down summer menu in my photo below.

First time trying this place after word of mouth and I can't believe I haven't been here before!The service is outstanding, Orlando was so attentive and nice. Made sure to explain the menu and offer his recommendations. The food was phenomenal. I had the Crema Virginia soup and tostones rellenos for starter. Both super delicious. Then for entree I had the churrasco with Moro. And to finish on a sweet note. I had the arroz con leche. Honestly I would have everything on the menu here. The prices are super affordable. All in all a great place for any occasion.

"There's a lot to choose from on Lincoln Road when it comes to food and I love that every restaurant has their menu posted outside at the hostess stand or in a window so you can bounce around and see all the options. It took some time for us to narrow it down but we ended up at Tapelia and it was a solid choice. We really liked the menu especially the idea of sharing a paella but we worried that we might not finish it and we could not leave with leftovers so we both settled on the Garlic Shrimp with Rice and Salad, me sauteed, friend had the fried. Loved this dish, very flavorful and just the right amount of serving. Service was fantastic as well. Waters arrived immediately and were refilled throughout dinner. Food came out reasonably fast and piping hot. I would also say given the set up inside, quite romantic, this would be an excellent date night spot and you can share a paella!!"

"Meson Ría de Vigo has been in the Roads area of Miami for a minute; one of the OG Spanish restaurants. When I went Saturday lunchtime there may not be a flamenco dance show or a DJ but it hits the spot for a solid meal. I came by Saturday for lunch while in the area.I started with a hearty bowl of lentil soup with potato pieces and parsley, as a yummy lead-in to my main course of grilled chicken with steamed veggies and boiled potato slices. The veggie sides tasted really fresh, and the chicken a nice portion size for lunch after the gym. The winner was my cheat - peras al Porto. This was a huge pear, fluffy on the inside and baked in a port wine reduction. It was very much worth the calories!"

"We felt like we were dining in a friend's living room and it was amazing. We had a reunion with friends we met in Spain and were seeking out a tapas spot to bring back the memories. The restaurant is tiny, with one big table and only two or three small tables. I therefore recommend getting reservations in advance if you plan on dining here. The food is a mix of Spanish and Argentinian tapas, and the owner is from Argentina. The menu was very similar to what you would find in Spain though. We ordered one of almost everything and enjoyed every bite. The jamon, manchego, and bread was amazing. As was the pulpo (octopus), calamari, shrimp, tortilla, jamón croquetas, patatas bravas, and salad. We were celebrating our friend's birthday, so when I mentioned it to the owner, he was awesome and brought her out a flan with a candle - so kind. The prices were reasonable and we had a great time talking to the owner for awhile. The restaurant is located just minutes away from the Wynwood neighborhood, which we still took a few-minute Uber to afterwards, as the neighborhood seemed a little sus at night. "Tasty, authentic Spanish tapas and entrees in a historic looking restaurant! You have the feeling of being transported to another country being in here. Performance stage has live music like flamenco on weekend nights. Service is the weakest point---spotty and not knowledgeable---but if you can work with it, the food is worth a visit.I went for their brunch, to celebrate my birthday, which is typically only offered on Sundays, but the owner was kind enough to have the chef accommodate a request for brunch items on a Saturday. They have bottomless cava-mosas for $35, which we took very full advantage of as the combination of fresh orange juice with the cava helped our party have a great time.A few of us would ask for refills, and our server would take three or four flutes back to the bar to pour the drinks. It became clear that he was not keeping track of whose glass was whose and simply came back and placed glasses in front of us without checking anything. Luckily we all liked each other enough to be able to be comfortable with sharing glasses.I had the Chistorras a la Casuela and Spanish Tortilla which were both tasty. I shared one and a half slices with my friends, then asked for the rest of it to take with me. The server took it and never returned with the takeout container.If you can't tell by now, our server was young, distracted, and quite clueless. There was a soccer game on in the restaurant, and we caught him watching the game a few times while we were trying to get his attention for an order. He told me that the owner wanted to give me a surprise, so he wanted to know when our meal was done. Obviously, he didn't get the memo about what a surprise is.However, like I said, the ambience of the restaurant, and its food are worth a try. The owner, William, is an incredibly sweet gentleman whom you should be able to meet since he is at the restaurant almost every day. Hopefully, you'll have a different service experience. You may have a better chance going with a smaller group rather than the large group I had!"
"TL;DR 10/10 would recommendMy partner and I had early dinner there this afternoon and we had an amazing night! We ordered from each of the sections off the menu. It was a date night and we wanted to go all out.Stared out with a cheese and meat platter and the cod croquettes. Then we ordered churrasco with rice and plantains that also came with their amazing potato salad. My partner ordered the sirloin with fries and also had some "Gambas Al ajijo" on the side (garlic shrimp scampi app). We shared a lovely bottle of tempranillo (calto from Ribera del duero) which I would recommend to anyone. And finished the night with a crema catalan and an almond cake plus an expresso to finish off. If I have to say one regret or one issue? I don't have enough stomach to fit everything else I wanted but I guess that's what another visit is for.I have to thank Ramon and his staff for the wonderful service, we came in and ended up staying a few minutes past closing and staff treated us as if the whole place was in full swing. I will absolutely be coming back as well as bringing our families and recommending this place to others."

"WOW No wonder it is ranked as NYTimes best places to eat and also won Diner's Choice. Spanish style tapas with a beautiful dining room and outdoor space. You feel as though you are not sitting in Miami. Our server was incredible. She was so sweet and attentive as well as helpful on recommendations. They have a fabulous cocktail menu, wine menu but do offer a full service bar. We were doing an early dinner as we had scheduled appetizers later and went with the Arroces; lobster and seafood rice. (Min 2 people) it was plenty filling and delicious. Highly recommend trying this place and although there is not a bad seat in the house. Always sit outside when you can. Cheers!"
