"I cannot speak on the food, but this was a nice little stop during my vacation! The bar inside is pretty small, so since there were 3 of us we decided to grab a table outside. We were greeted with chips and salsa and menus. We knew we wanted to drink, so decided it made most sense to share a mojito pitcher. There were quite a few flavors to choose from, but we chatted and voted on kiwi. After ordering, we kinda just took in all the hustle and bustle -- we were in South Beach after all, so it was poppin! The mojito pitcher came in a few minutes, along with a glass for each of us. It was delicious -- minty and the kiwi flavor was there! The chips and salsa were satisfying all the way as well. The pitcher was expensive ($50), but such prices are expected down there. I'd come back to try the food!"

"We had just checked out of our hotel and headed to the airport and looked for a breakfast place nearby. Saw this one and I'm very happy we tried it!Very good! We had the Protein Banana Nut Pancakes and an egg & cheese breakfast croissant. Both were very delicious. The pancakes had flaxseed which helps with digestion and it can be a strong seed to cook with but they did an excellent job!Heads up for out of towners- it's a restaurant with a walk up window where you order and take your food to go. They have a tent to the right of the restaurant where they have about 5-6 tables for you to sit and enjoy your breakfast but no indoor seating. I highly recommend this little Jem of a restaurant!"

"I stopped by Istanbul Restaurant while on Hollywood Beach on a recent Sunday. It's a cozy little nook on the boardwalk with Turkish football (soccer) and posters on the wall. My friend ordered a doner kebab gyro, and I just went for tapas and dessert since I had eaten elsewhere.The pita bread I had was fluffy, and the grape leaves had a nice tangy, citrusy taste. I believe these were just filled with rice though served with fresh tomato slices. The hummus did taste like fresh chick peas though the portion was on the small side. It was my first time trying Turkish coffee - different from the coffee in that it's more finely ground to the point of a thicker & almost powdery taste. I will say it was it was really potent, as it kept me up late! My turkish ice cream ("Maras dondurma") was yummy with fresh pistachio grounds and just the right amount of sweetness. The consistency was a little thicker than ice cream here in the US.The service was fairly attentive and with decent recommendations. They do charge automatic gratuity like almost every beachside spot."

The original spot of Kush that I heard about is in Wynwood and didn't even know that they had a location in Hialeah but we were close-ish to the area and needed a bite. After a quick search on Yelp, we found Kush in Hialeah! We came after pickleball so we were definitely hungry before coming here. It was a random Wednesday evening so it wasn't too packed for dinner but they actually had their first trivia night, so it became more lively as the night went on. Our group isn't too trivia savvy but it was free so we opted to play in for the night for Andy's Trivia! The inside of this spot gives off such diner vibes and with the ambiance, interior, and even music, we all felt like we were transported into the Stranger Things set. Such a cool spot that gives you a homey feel. The service was pretty quick and prompt and we were able to order after perusing the menu for a bit. They're known for their Frita By Kush Burger so we all ended up getting one of those but with different sides. Some of us got the Yuca fries and some the potato salad as these were both recommended by the server. The burger was pretty good but I heard that the other location tasted a bit better (not sure if it's different or has changed over time). The Yuca fries were just okay in my opinion & I wish I just got the fries to pair with my burger. The trivia night was super fun, even though we did horrible, and we'd definitely come back again for a fun night out with a group."

"Where do I start? The staff is super friendly and helpful. I had a Buffalo chicken sandwich, my husband had a steak (with onions, peppers and mushrooms) sandwich and my son had a chicken parmigiana sandwich.Everything was delicious, the veggies and meat were fresh and tasty.You can not only make a sub but you can also put your meat on salad, rice and tortilla chips and add all your favorite toppings. We didn't stay there to eat but the restaurant has seating inside and outside. It's conveniently located next to the Palmetto Bay which makes you feel extra safe. Great music selection playing as well. I've been there twice and both times have been flawless."

The staff is absolutely wonderful and and made such amazing wine recommendations, we ended up having a bottle of wine that was absolutely delicious! Plenty of tables for being a smaller spot and they even have back couches and bar seating! Very cute interior for pictures and a huge chalk board filled with all the activity they have going on! Lastly the food and wine! Like I said the bottle we were recommended was absolutely delicious and their menu has plenty of price points to meet everyone's budget! Food wise we had a charcuterie board and some meatballs which were both delicious! The board was so aesthetically presented, perfect for pictures!! To end a great night we devoured their bread pudding! A full 5 stars for this little hidden gem!"

"This place is just a few blocks from our apartment, and we love coming here for breakfast a few times a week. It's also been under construction for months- tucked away behind some scaffolding. I chose it specifically because it has açaí in it, it makes it so rich, and it's the perfect amount (20oz- one size only).We also get egg sandwiches on bagels, and I'm seriously in awe of how thick and fluffy they get the egg - I've even googled how to do this at home because of these sandwiches I always get the ham, my boyfriend gets the turkey, and we love them. I had Pan con Lechon (slow-roasted mojo-marinated pork, mojo onion, & garlic-cilantro aioli) and Hubby had the Original Hot Honey Cubano (slow-roasted mojo-marinated pork, smoked ham, melted swiss, pickled jalapeño, mustard, & hot honey). I was expecting the pan con lechon to be dry but thankfully it wasn't. I liked the pickled onions. The sandwich could have used more aioli. The hot honey cubano was meh. I think there was just too much going on there, but we took that risk. Should have just stuck to the original. Maybe that one is better. It's not bad if you happen to be in the area, but if I was looking for a go-to Cubano shop, this wouldn't be it. P.S. Check out their bathroom. It has a fun theme."
