"I had the opportunity to check out Mayfair Grill this weekend! Wow it did not disappoint! Giorgio Rapicavoli has done it again! #iykyk!! Everything we ate was perfection. We started with the Yellowfin tuna crudo, black truffle & potato croquetas, & the white bean hummus. All were amazing but truffle crème fraǐche that came with the croquetas is living rent free in my brain at the moment. The highlight of the night was our main dish the Iberico Pork Churrasco. Ill be honest pork is not my usual go to when dining out but it was highly recommended and Im glad we went for it. We finished the night with the Pineapple upside down tart. It was the perfect blend of sweet & sour. Im excited to see the Mayfair making a come back and look forward to their brunch / lunch menus to launch soon!"
"I'm still dreaming of the food here! Sharing multiple dishes is the best way to experience the menu, which features imaginative iterations of familiar dishes. It makes so much sense when I found out that this restaurant is the latest creation from the Ariete Hospitality Group. Our server did an incredible job taking care of a group of six ladies eating + one having a drink. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and gave us a good idea of what each dish we were interested in was. She voluntarily offered to and expertly divided our checks according to who shared what dishes without any issues. Our water glasses were always checked on and refilled without asking. We shared Grilled Oysters that I could eat again and again because of its dense, broiled parmesan flavor. The Short Rib was as tender and full of flavor as I could have imagined, and its caramelized onion sauce was so heightened when we dipped crusty, buttered thick loaf bread in it. The Chicken Croquetas were worth it to order, more for the rooster shaped jar that they came in than the actual pieces. But they were packed with shredded chicken to make it satisfying enough to share half of one. I could do without the sweet peach chutney that it came with. The Hasselback Potato hides in the menu as a side dish, yet sits on an airy, creamy sauce that makes it a standout. The Big Ass Caesar Salad comes tossed in a vibrantly citrus accented dressing that I could eat anything with.I'm glad I snuck my spoon into the Sticky Toffee Pudding because believe it or not, I can't get over the density of the vanilla ice cream at the top of it!Happy hour runs from 5-7 PM at the bar, where carefully crafted signature cocktails are $10 each, along with select wines. The Espresso Martini is delightful to look at and drink---solid flavor and foam layering. The House Gibson is their martini, and the addition of a pearl onion garnish gives it another dimension of savory flavor. With live music, often jazz, playing on their stage almost every night, there are lots of reasons to come by here! Find me there again!"

"Superb! Superb! Superb! A friend and I had the 4 course menu at the Lion and the Rambler, a relatively new restaurant on Ponce just south of Calle Ocho. A small restaurant but perfect for these beautiful 4 course extravaganzas. It's a husband and wife team. The wife runs the front of the house and the husband is the creative chef. The meal started with a number of delicious amuse bouches, followed by sweet potatoes in a very thin skin and a sour orange sauce, cod with coconut bisque and a Thai basil sauce, short ribs cooked for 48 hours and then a wonderful mandarin ice cream with white chocolate and sorrel (where do you find sorrel in Miami!?). Followed by a number of smaller sweets. A very creative, innovative meal! If you have a chance try"
"How have I not noticed the historical significance of this establishment? I pride myself on knowing ALL the hidden gems and yet this one missed me. Like me you probably walk on byHowever, this spot should be loved and appreciated. It has sadly been on the chopping block SO many times, it is sad. This is a gem of old begone days. The structure is all wood, cozy, historical and intimate. They even have a stone fireplace. God help us if this goes the way The old Playhouse has, and gets abandoned, derelict or knocked down.In its time it has been various things - a cottage, a tearoom and gift shop, a tearoom, a steak restaurant and now a pub! Here is some history about the place - It was originally built as a cottage in 1920, as part of the estate of The barnacle, owned by the Coconut Grove pioneer Ralph Munroe (1851 - 1933). He built it to be used as a social club and he called it The Tea Chest. From 1921 to 1923, it operated as such and was run by Munroe's daughter Patty (1900 - 1991) and Alice Ayars, a ceramicist. It was also known as Patty's Tea-chest and gift shop. Then two years later in 1923 it operated as La Casita Tea Room & Gift shop and was owned by Grace and Bob Ousley. They were known for their ice box pudding. This establishment ran for decades and apparently used to serve liquor in fine China teacups during Prohibition. It was also known for their Southern style cooking. In 1969 it was sold again and opened up as The Taurus Steakhouse, offering steaks of course. According to my research an older Coconut Grove female local said Taurus was once known as Coconut Grove's most legendary and oldest watering hole. She remembers the place when it was new, when the bar was wood and covered in an inch of clear polyurethane, when people played backgammon in a room at the rear and when she would make spiral designs with a credit card in the little piles of white powder on the bar after hours. Apparently, these indulgences happened in the 1970's. Boy, if these walls could talk! So? I went in for a gander and ended up chatting to the knowledgeable Scot who works there. He said there are various rooms under the wooden structure. He told me even to this day he has some people coming in asking for the steak! They now deal mainly in pints, trivia nights and have stand-up comedy nights on Thursdays. Surely now I have piqued your interest. Folks SHOULD protect, honour and enjoy such historical local businesses. So, if you go, hit me up and I might join you for the Comedy evening. Also, IF YOU DO GO, please jot me a line and let me know your thoughts. From their website - TUESDAY TRIVIA 8:30 p.m.TUESDAY BINGO Late nightWEDNESDAY VIDEO GAMES 8:30 p.m.THURSDAY COMEDY 8:00 p.m."
"In A Nutshell:-Lightkeepers is a restaurant inside the Ritz Carlton in Key Biscayne.-If you opt for the buffet breakfast, you will pay just under $50 for the AYCE, so you better eat as much as you can.-I really enjoyed the made-to-order omelets, which take a little time, but worth the wait & you may want to order 2x.-In addition to the omelets, you can grab a nice selection of eggs, bacon, sausages, fruit, cereal & pastries.-The price is steep for AYCE, but if you do a la carte, you may end up paying more.Overall, it's still a very nice restaurant w/ good service serving delicious food."
"I love Miami Spice because you can try out restaurants that may or may not have been on your radar. I noticed Amali Llama while on my way to dine at another restaurant nearby. Anyway, stopped in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. The place is spacious and decorated with a lot of thought. We opted for the short rib empanadas, chicken parmesan sandwich, and chocolate cake for dessert. The empanadas were good, but were dry! They left much to be desired. Even with the chimichurri, the meat was super dry. The sandwich and dessert were just okay, nothing to write home about. I probably will try this place again, outside of Miami Spice, just to give it a fair try."
"Amazing outdoor lounging area next to the pool and beach. Chill vibes with 2010s indie remixes, good new Latin food, good service (when they're not swamped on weekends).Food is pricey and has built-in 20%, but that's par for the course for Miami Beach. This was my office for the week and I loved it!"
"Oliver's Bistro is a gem nestled in the heart of Miami Beach, exuding cozy corner bistro vibes that instantly transport you to a quaint European café. From the moment you step inside, the inviting atmosphere creates the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The lobster ravioli starter is an absolute must-try, boasting ample portions perfect for sharing between two people. Each bite bursts with flavor, showcasing the chef's skill. We also ordered the bruschetta which is a twist on the original recipe adding diced red onions and balsamic, vinaigrette elevating this classic appetizer to new heights. Both starters are so good! While the steak salad is tasty with its juicy meat and fresh ingredients, I recommend ordering the dressing on the side to avoid it overwhelming the dish. The shrimp curry with basmati rice may have looked more appealing than it tasted, but the diverse menu ensures there's something for every palate. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, attentive service, and reasonable prices (in Miami Beach), making Oliver's Cafe a true local gem!Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner for two or a cozy gathering with friends, Oliver's Bistro promises an unforgettable dining experience that exceeds expectations. I highly recommend this charming eatery to anyone looking for delicious cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere."
"We had dinner reservations last evening at Hillstone at Bal Harbor. We did early shopping and were hungry. We drove up to the valet service rather than spending time looking for a parking spot in the garage on a busy Saturday. The ambiance is upscale casual in a modern glass and wood decor on the second floor. I liked the glass elevator overlooking the Bal Harbor mall with the waterfalls and foliage. We looked at the menu but didn't see very much that appealed to us. It seemed to be more sushi and fish items. Near the bottom of the menu, we saw French Dip Au Jus with fries, and we both ordered it. It was good but not outstanding. Our server was Joseph, and he was friendly and attentive. Our water glasses were not kept full, and we had to ask for water refills. The prices were high but the quality didn't match. Hillstone is part of the Houston restaurant chain, and some of their food items are similar. We always enjoy Houston's. This was our first time at a Hillstone restaurant. Would we come back? Not sure."
"Guys, do not sleep on this restaurant just because it is tucked next to a hotel next to the Miami airport. The too long didn't read version here is that this restaurant is absolutely delicious and the customer service is amazing.I had a flight canceled and was put up by the airline in the hotel, which is one that I had not heard of before but I'm so glad that I ended up here. Feeling quite peckish, but not having the energy to go out and look for food, I decided to just eat dinner at the hotel restaurant and hope for the best, however, I am so glad that I did. I was immediately sat in a gorgeous dining room area that was incredibly clean and modern. The menu was expensive with both hot entrées that felt elevated along with other handheld items for those who may not be up for a full course meal. For my appetizer, I started with the pork belly chicharron which was grilled to perfection. For my entrée, I got the risotto with a side piece of salmon and a wedge salad, both of which were absolutely delicious. The risotto had barley in it and was extra creamy, but didn't feel heavy while the side piece of salmon was cooked perfection. The wedge salad was comprised of such a beautiful bowl of buttery, delicious leaves, generous pieces of prosciutto, and the most divine salad dressing I've ever had in my life talk with some spicy goodness that just rocked my world and candidly is probably going to be the most memorable wedge salad that I'm going to have in a long time. My partner had a Caesar salad with a burger that was reminiscent of a burger, get growing up with one of the fattest patties I've ever seen in my life that tasted like something you get at a backyard barbecue that fills you up and leaves you feeling so good. From start to finish the customer service was absolutely impeccable and so professional. I can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant I look forward to coming back here and dining here again in the future on purpose, and would highly recommend anyone to have a nice meal here whether you are passing through or local. A perfect place to pass the evening, 14/10."

Good restaurant for sure! The ambiance is a cool vibe especially inside and the food is good. The service was great and they were very careful with my allergies. We ordered the steak tartare to start and it was the best thing we had. The chicken was really good and the steak was good too with an interesting miso based sauce. The tostones were also good but I would probably order something else next time. The oyster mushroom was good just needed a little sauce or something. All in all I know this restaurant will be even more amazing as time passes because the chef is one of the best!

How this spot only has 3.9 so far on Yelp is anyone's guess.I came here last night with my friend and we both LOVED it. Sexy, dark, sultry decor awaits you. We were transported out of Miami and felt we were in a New Orleans or New York speakeasy. We were delighted to discover they had live Jazz too. Apparently, they offer live Jazz from Wednesday to Saturday! The service was fantastic, friendly and personable. The food, again Fantastic. To be noted the Chef and restauranteur is Michael Beltran. He has a Michelin Star for his highly acclaimed restaurant Ariete. The food quality here is as good as Ariete and also his Chugs diner. See my other reviews of these other gems.WE tried their Caesar salad - and as my friend put it "a real one", as it came with anchovies, which takes it to that next level! We tried a cheese board with all their dreamy trimmings. We both ordered their scallops for our mains - which were melt in your mouth. We then finished off with their oh so decadent sticky toffee pudding (I am English what can I say). WE are both little Vixens, so had to try their Vixen cocktail. We adored it, two drinks in one and such fun!IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN.....RUN....

I finally tried this restaurant a year and a half later and the only one hurting all that time was me. What a pleasant and lovely experience I was missing out on. I dined here on a Thursday night. I was told that Wednesdays and Thursdays have a limited menu and on the weekends the menu is coursed options only. I don't normally love coursed meals, but I feel like this is the place to do it because everything we tried on that Thursday night was DELICIOUS. First off, they did such a nice job with the space. It's colorful, well lit, and inviting. The wine list also has excellent options and the waitress isn't trying to force you into the most expensive items. The wait staff are cordial and helpful and the Chef is humble and sweet in his explanation of the dishes. For wine, we got the bottle of tempranillo and it was delicious. We started with the focaccia and ricotta and honey. Honestly, it was the best honey I have ever tasted. They even told me where to buy it on my own if interested. Everything is freshly sourced from local farms and it shows. We also had the steak tartare that came with the blueberry capers. Those were a little weird for me but my friend loved them. We also had those delicious scallops that I believe were poached in wagyu fat. I don't even like scallops normally but they were exquisitely prepared. For entrees we had the boniato pasta and the cod. Both were deliciously prepared and I will definitely order again. But that boniato pasta that was sort of like a tortellini filled with boniato and topped with like a foam of citrus flavors- was easily one of the best pastas I have ever eaten in my life. The dish is creative yet light but absolutely delicious. This dish belongs on the show "best thing I ever ate". For dessert, we tried the lemon dessert that was light and airy and not overly bitter or citrusy. We also got the brownie dessert that was one of the most delicious desserts I have ever tasted. My friend and I fought over not one- but two portions of that dessert. Can't wait to go back for the tasting menu and friendly service!

I've been to Taurus now a handful of times. It's quite a cozy bar that gives you a little bit of everything you need to have a great time. Couple of times we visited for a holiday party. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. I went with some Mezcal Old Fashion's that were exquisite, the wife went with some wine. We ordered some appetizers to make sure we didn't pass out with all the drinks. We went with a pepperoni pizza and pork tacos. The pizza was average to above, came right off the oven and had a good crust. I'd say the tacos were average. Soft tortillas and you can taste a hint of marinade but not much. Again fresh and hot, just lacking a bit of flavor. We were in the outside area which is quite spacious, the interior has karaoke which is always fun and the full bar. Attentive staff and very helpful, kind, courteous all the adjectives you can find. In all, it was a pleasant experience. I'd say 3 on the food, 4 on the facilities and 5 on the service.

Great place to sit at the bar and have dinner or cocktails and snacks! Open air to the beautiful outdoors in sunny Florida. Prices were not that bad. Cocktails were good. Food was average. Bartender was super friendly!! We enjoyed talking with him!

We were here a couple of months ago for Miami Spice. Honestly, we've been here before for happy hour but there are so many Italian restaurants in Miami I thought it was another one. So when I saw it in Miami Spice I thought this was a good moment to try it! We got there around 3.15 for the Miami Spice Lunch Menu, which looked better than the dinner one. We sat, everybody was very nice here, and the hostess gave us the menus. To my surprise, there was no menu from Miami Spice so I asked for it, the hostess brought me the special menu but I was confused because she brought me the dinner one and it wasn't dinner time. I asked about it and told me lunch was until 3 pm. So I was already a little annoyed because their dinner menu wasn't as good as the lunch one. My boyfriend was super disappointed but since we were already there, we decided to just get a couple of dishes to share. We started with some drinks and I got one of their mocktails, I don't remember the name of it but it was good! There's beauty in a mocktail well done. My boyfriend got one cocktail, rum-based with coconut and it was super good too. As an appetizer, we got their Focaccia which it's not your typical Focaccia with a thick dough. This one was like hallow bread that was inflated due to the heat but it was so, so good, we wouldn't mind ordering a second one. It was delicious and addicting! For entrees, we ordered the Spaghetti which has a simple red sauce but the pasta was so well cooked and the sauce was so delicious, it just reminded you of how simple is life. We had to try one of their pizzas because the focaccia was so good, we were wondering about the pizzas so we got the Positano pizza, and wow!!! I've tried so many pizzas but this one was ON POINT! Soppressata and Finnochiona meeting in this spicy pizza with hot honey on top, what a delight! Delicious! Honestly, our meal was way better than we expected and we can't wait to come back and try other dishes from the menu! The restaurant is beautiful and I love the fact that even though it might be busy, you can still hear what the other person at your table is saying.

The service was really great here! I got a pina colada and the server told me for a few dollars more I can get the large. The larger was def larger, wow!We also ordered a cheeseburger and truffle fries and they were delicious! The burger was juicy and cooked medium just like we asked. This bar definitely had Miami prices but I will say the food, drink, views and service were definitely great!

"Not a bad place to get a morning breakfast or pastry and coffee. On the weekends this place is bustling with active patrons hanging out on the patio taking in the South Florida air.The service here is typical Miami, kind of spotty but overall not horrible. The pastries as well are not bad at all either. I have tried the cream filled croissant to the raisin roll to the deconstructed ferro rache. I would take the raisin roll any day of the week!Side note the salmon eggs really are salmon cooked with scrambled eggs. We thought it was actually going to be raw smoked salmon."
"Stopped into Lokal for a quick lunch before my flight. I had the pleasure of having Tati as my waitress and I loved her energy, knowledge of the menu and attentiveness. Tati recommended the Mint lemonade which was superb and so fresh! To eat I had a Bababooey Burger which was mouthwatering. What I also LOVED about Lokal was how dedicated they are to providing high-quality handcrafted burgers and sauces that are all made right in house. Inside there is an entrance to Victoria's Vinos y Vermuteria, a wine and vermouth bar that's also a part of the Kush Hospitality Group."
"Probably my favorite spot for brunch in brickell! Portions and quality are solid for the price and service and vibes are very good.Shared a few dishes and all were good. Loved the deliciously crisped truffle fries but the pancakes as stole the show. The perfect brand of fluffy and just the right amount of sweet. We shared three dishes between three people and felt satisfied. Cost was around $20ish a person with tip.Servers were awesome. We lingered a bit and they did not rush us at all. Which was so nice so we could enjoy the beautiful day on their patio seating for a bit. Very happy with this experience!"
"Doing a new review since I have not been here since 2019. Killian Cafe used to be one of my main to go places for breakfast. I used to absolutely love coming here. Unfortunately, I moved away from the area to NW Ohio years ago for a job opportunity. I was back in Miami on vacation and had to come back.I am glad I did. It was delicious nostalgia. Place is just like I remember it. The place is comfortable and welcoming. The staff is hard working and friendly! The food is delicious!Eating those amazing grits, enjoying the eggs benedict... and god that heavenly Nutella crepe...oh how wonderful it was to experience it again. If I could I would lift this place and take it with me to Ohio. You all who live around here, you guys are lucky! You should come here and enjoy great food and great service! Alas, I had to go and say a regretful goodbye to this place. Hopefully I will be able to swing this way again in the future."
"Gala Muse Bar is a hidden gem in Aventura. Located inside the Hilton Aventura, this modern restaurant is truly a breath of fresh air featuring a gorgeous dining space, fabulous cocktail bar, and also an outdoor area.Let's start with the appetizers. The octopus was perfectly cooked, anticuho skewers were tender and the crab cakes were tasty. Even just the freshly baked bread was good. Of course, the cocktails were just as superb. We had the Effervescence, Chocolate Coconut Old Fashioned, and the Chile-Rita. There's so much more on the cocktail menu but let's move on to the entrees. We both shared the Crispy Skin Red Snapper and Dry Aged Rib Eye. Both were cooked to perfection and beautiful presentation. For dessert, we had Lava Cake and Homemade Flan. No surprise here, both were super flavorful and not too sweet. This place is a must if you're staying at the hotel or a local. Perfect for a date night. Not overcrowded, very romantic and the service is top-notch. Big thanks to our server Claudio for all the recommendations. Everything we ate was excellent from start to finish."
"A group of ten of us arrived for a special occasion. I have to admit that part of the appeal for the event planners was a bit of spending damage control, as there is an option to select a 3-course meal for $48. Not everyone stuck to the plan, of course, but it helped overall from rash over-ordering, TwoChefs is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, so was convenient for all. You walk right into the bar area. The bartender was quick to serve and very pleasant to our group, starting the evening off right. We eventually made it overnto our table. The decor wasn't particularly special, but the white tablecloths amped up the overall ambiance. There was not a single complaint from anyone! At the end of the night. Special mentions went to the crab cake appetizer, which was an upcharge from the special--even the two from Maryland gave their stamp of approval. Several got the baked onion soup which was deliciously cheesy, and the classic Caesar salad was a pleaser. For the mains, the sautéed shrimp fettuccine got the most hits. The shrimp were large and tender. The seared tuna was several with a flavorful couscous and the sun dried tomatoes gave it the perfect touch. Two got the mixed Asopao and declared it a hit. The chicken beast with bacon, onion and feta normally comes with fingerling potatoes, but our Keto girl was able to swap them out for fresh vegetables and she was very happy. I personally had the Two Chefs meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I am just now noting that I didn't see any black bean BBQ, and the dish came with asparagus, which is isn't noted on the menu. Despite this glitch, the meal was truly comfort food at its best. I noticed so many of the group complimenting the food to the waiter as he cleared away plates. The only "just okay" dish was my husbands NY strip, which had a $15 upcharge on the 3-course special. His advise was go to a steakhouse for steak. Anyway, every single one of us got a Grand Mariner, Chocolate, or Pistachio soufflé with crème anglaise. They were an awesome perfection. It's not often that you can truly please everyone in a large group, but I'm rating Two Chefs with 5 stars because the chefs accomplished the task with praise."
"Gorgeous hidden patio area makes outdoor dining a breeze. Loved the ambiance and the outdoor mural. The food was super rich- the chorizo croquettes were salty and heavy, I wish they came with more sauce to cut through and lighten the bite. But really interesting flavor. My partner had a chicken rice (arroz imperial) dish that was flavorful but I wish it was slightly more aesthetic than just a blob of cheese on top. The passion fruit mojito was the perfect drink super light and refreshing! Space was awesome, food was decent but overpriced for what it was which is standard meats, rice, cheese, chicken. Think we spent a little over $70 on a light dinner."
"This completely unassuming place, that is up for a James Beard, is going to leave you full and happy! Made reservations on a random Miami night and it was so good, we came back the following day. Between both days, we ordered:Buffalo fish wings - 10 out of 10 for sure. Unique idea to use the whole fish - it's meaty and packed with flavor Smoked fish dip - It's light and delicious coupled with their house made chips and pickled onions and peppers - finger-licking goodSweet corn spoon spread - this was pretty meh. Didnt like the texture and the taste fell flat. Tiradito - super fresh, light and paired perfectly with the ripe avocado and the popcorn and hominy added such a different and unexpected touch and flavor. Genius dish!Scallops & pork belly - this was unexpectedly rich with the most perfectly seared scallops, which are my favorites. It has amazing Asian flare with the pok choy and rich soy sauce. Caviar deviled eggs - they were good but nothing to write home about. The following day for brunch, we had the smoked fish dip (yes, again lol). My wife ordered the fish sandwich. Wish I could share if it was good but judging by how she devoured it and I didn't even get to sniff it, I would say it was damn good, lol. I ordered a sort of crab french toast. Now hear me out - it was BANGIN'! I wasnt sure what to expect but the sweetness of the bread caught me off guard and the richness of the béchamel sauce was INSANE. Unfortunately, I cannot remember what the name of the dish is and even worse, cannot find it listed on the brunch menu. I promise, however, it is there, and it is definitely enough of a portion to share with two people.Beyond the food being absolutely delicious this place is so chill and vibe. Is Poppin and the staff seems really chill and down to earth. You arent rushed by any means so it's a great place to graze over multiple dishes and chat with your friends and family. All in all, a spot I definitely plan to return to again, and again when I am in Miami Beach. Enjoy!"
"Entre Nos is a fabulous new restaurant in the heart of Miami Shores. We ate there Saturday night, and my Dining Companion, who was food editor of a major publication for two decades, pronounced the meal to be "very VERY good."The restaurant is at 9840 NE 2nd Ave, and if you haven't seen the sign, it's because it's the night-time occupant of Tinta y Cafe, which is open only for breakfast and lunch. The food was so good that we found ourselves dabbing fingers to get that last little bit of sauce from the salad plate.Their focus -- according to their website -- is "Florida-sourced ingredients, delivering a hyper-seasonal à la carte menu."The server lets you know where the food comes from, even explaining the origins of the salad. Excellent service, great food and -- well, a bit pricy. DC's perfectly done grouper cost $40, my tasty pork entre was $45. We also had delightful appetizers of grilled oysters ($28) and a salad ($18), plus an excellent bottle of Albarino ($65). There was also a steak on the menu for $70-something. I first thought that's maybe too pricy for Miami Shores, but then I got to thinking. The fabulous architecture firm Bruce & Bruce recently finished a beautiful renovation of a house on NE 102nd Street. It just sold for $3.3 million. With sales like that, the new folks moving into the neighborhood may find Entre Nos prices to be just fine."
"Mostly unchanged in the decades of it's existence, frozen in time, still serving up simple but damn good burgers and well cooked, albeit greasy, fries. However I cannot attest to how good the other menu items are, I pretty much have only had the Keg Burger in the thirty plus years of coming here. It's always a trip back in time as soon as I open the door and step in and hopefully it will stay that way."
"We didn't eat here so I cannot speak for the food but the drinks and phenomenal along with great service and a beautiful view. If you want to seat higher up with a nice view of the Bayside and the boats, check out this places patio. Fun vibes here too."
"After an early morning workout on a Saturday, we were looking for a not so busy brunch spot in the area. Thankfully, Noa popped up on our Yelp search & it did not disappoint. Mimosa Pitcher - lovely offering that gave our party of 2 multiple servings. The pink orchid made it a nice elegant touch.Breakfast Sandwich - was extremely fulfilling & had some sweet grilled onions that brought all the flavors together. The egg was exactly the way I requested it - over easy. The Brioche bun was branded with their logo, which made the dish a little more personable.Avocado Toast - I didn't have this, but my friend did & she said it was pretty good. Fried Cheese Bacon Fries - seriously just order this & nothing else! It was so darn good & the fries were hot, fresh & crispy. If I were in the area more often, I would come back & explore other options on their menu!"
"My fiancé and I stopped in here for a quick snack and drink on our way to the event. If you're a sports fan, I HIGHLY recommend this place! There are too many TVs to count, including 4 TVs combined to make one mega screen for the big games. We sat at the bar which has plenty of seating available and quite a few tables, too! I had my traditional Maker's Old Fashioned and my fiancé had a Whisky Sour. Both drinks were good pours and tasted great. We ordered their truffle fries so we had something to nosh on while we sipped our cocktails. Those fries are ridiculously yummy and decent sized portion to be shared with 2-3 people. While we didn't use it, I like that they have a pool table and punching machine in the back for you to play around on. The manager, Ricky, who greeted us was incredibly friendly and polite, as was our bartender. Prices are on par with the area and it's a fun, lively atmosphere. We'll be back and I highly recommend you check it out too!"
"I was disappointed by my latest visit to Joey. While the food was still really good, the portions have gotten smaller. I ordered the Chilean sea bass and for $49, I could barely even distinguish the tiny piece of fish from the vegetables. Even the vegetables were lacking. I left hungry. To add insult to injury, my friend and I were celebrating both our birthdays, with mine being the most recent. I am the one who made the reservation, I am the one who indicated birthday on the reservation, I am the one who ordered the dessert and I am the one who told the waitress we were celebrating birthdays plural. She brings the dessert with happy birthday written and plops it down right in front of my friend. Mind you this was a shared dessert and she should have asked (not assumed) who was celebrating the birthday or put it in the center at least. What a slap on the face and way to go for making me feel completely left out on my own birthday."
"This was a delightful visit. The outdoor seating is beautiful and the live jazz band on Wednesday evenings was definitely a fun addition to the ambiance. Reservations is a must. Food was very tasty! Vito's Stratciatella was so fresh and delicious! The service was friendly and attentive. Street parking is accessible. Will definitely visit again when in Miami!"
"Visited this location on a Saturday evening and it wasn't busy at all which is great, recommended by friends this little hidden gem definitely surprised me. It's in the corner and has a small entrance. As soon as we walked in , it definitely gives industrial Miami vibes . The menu on the other hand had many things from burgers to different types of beer on tap . I tried the chicken and waffles , which the chicken was full of flavor and amazing seasonings. The waffles were just ok , a bit dry and didn't do much for the plate it self .. just got for one of their burgers - wish I did . Regardless a great location to stop by when in Miami , and try something new."
"Absolutely loved the vibe in here. Fresh bagels and fresh food, probably with the wait if you're going to dine in, I got the food to go but still worth the wait!"
"Magnificent service, the perfect atmosphere to watch sports while surrounding yourself with games and incredibly delicious food. A friend of mine recommended stopping at Sports & Social at the Dolphin Mall to watch the game last night. I was picking up my cousin from the airport. He had one of those long layovers that allow you to step outside a bit, and since he's never been to Miami I decided to show him around a few places. I took him to Wynwood, had a couple of drinks, looked around a bit and took pictures, but for some reason Wynwood didn't feel right. So, we started heading home when I remembered a friend recommending Sports and Social At Dolphin Mall. Even before we walked in we knew we were in the right place. There was a stage in front and there was a band playing live salsa. But when we walked in we were really left speechless. The TV wall is huge. It has every game imaginable playing all together, and all at once. You're sitting there watching two, three, four games, and an UFC fight. Your attention flows seamlessly from one sport, and one game to another, and that was even before we sat down to order. Our waitress for the night was Julissa, and she was exceptional. She was the perfect combination of energetic, fun, and knowledgeable. And her recommendations were on point. The nachos I ordered didn't disappoint. They were amazing. And so were the shrimps my cousin ordered. The drinks were also magnificent. After a couple mojitos I decided to truly test Julissa and ordered a Negroni. She said she immediately recognized me as a Negroni guy - a sign of someone who truly knows her stuff. All in all, we had a magnificent time at Sports and Social. The atmosphere was great, the food amazing, Ohio State won, Notre Dame lost, ourwaitress was fun, beautiful, and incredible, and the TV wall is humongous. What else can you ask for. I truly can't wait to go back again."
"I'm happy to post this updated review of Batch, and give this place the 4 stars I feel it now deserves; It seems this "gastropub" may finally have their collective "stuff" together once again. That's great to see, as we used to come here somewhat often until about 5 years ago when it appeared to go downhill. We tried returning here a few times last year on weekend evenings, but everything always seemed very inconsistent - sometimes it was packed and other times it was completely empty; they seemed to have random events and theme nights, and their kitchen sometimes closed early. Fast forward to more recently, and this place seems to be much better managed than it had been over the past few years. The kitchen is now consistently open until late, and as a bonus they offer the full menu until close, where in the past they'd always switch to a somewhat limited "late night" menu after a certain time. The bartenders once again seem to know their craft and are outgoing and offer samples if customers don't know exactly what they want, or if the bartender thinks he might have something they'd like. We do miss some of the former food offerings like the margarita pizza which was always good with a unique flavor, and the spicy glazed chicken wings, but the current menu has plenty of variety and we've been happy with everything we've tried here recently. So glad Batch seems to be in a better place now in many respects vs. our previous few (sometimes only attempted) visits - Let's hope they're able to keep it up!"
"Baleen kitchen is a great location to dine, different dishes to choose from earth to sea food it's to die for. It is a must have... try it out and let me know what you think. Service is great Daniel and the rest of the team are stellar. Music is just right it create a great ambiance to enjoy the rest of the night."
"We had an outstanding experience at Stubborn Seed for Miami Spice. The three-course menu offered two appetizers, two entrees and two desserts, so my husband and I were able to order one of each and try the entire menu. Additionally, we ordered the Tiger Bread and added the wine pairing (both of which I'd highly recommend). The food was outstanding, and we particularly enjoyed the Handmade Potato Gnocchi & Confit Duck and the Swordfish. The Basque Cheesecake was also so good that we debated ordering a second piece. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was fun. Fine dining in a lively, vibrant atmosphere is the way to go. We will definitely be back to try their traditional tasting menu this year."
