"I had heard mixed reviews about VARSOL and last night I decided to order takeout to satisfy my sushi craving. I'm so happy I did because it was some of the most delicious takeout sushi I've had in a while!I opted for the Salmon dream salad which is served over Wakame and avocado as well as a yellowtail hand roll. The fish was super fresh and both were fabulous. I was full from the order because the salad had so much salmon. I will definitely order again and hope to stop by in person soon!"
"Very fun and truly an artful experience from decor to food, it was good time. Beautiful execution on dishes, love the limon juga forward dishes, lots of juice that help to balance and spring that fresh in the ceviche. Sushi rolls were nicely plated and cut thin and consistent to be a perfect bite size. Will definitely be back for dinner and drinks!!"

"Nice hidden spot right across from the FTX Arena.Had the spicy salmon bowl and it was fresh and full of flavor! With ginger, pickled cucumber, scallions, masago, crispy garlic, wasabi peas and spicy mayo, you really can't go wrong! Needless to say but I'll say it anyways, it's was flipping delicious! The place was very clean and the staff is friendly and forthcoming. Looks brand new from what I can see, very modern look. Not the biggest establishment so I'd recommend grabbing it to go to not get caught up in any lunch rush. If you work in the area and need something delicious and fast, this is definitely the spot to hit up! Parking is definitely an issue here, as most of downtown is, so be cautious when coming to this location. Go check them out!"
"I came here for the Omakase experience with a friend of mine and left having the most memorable sushi experience in my life. I mean..that's not even food, it's art. Chef Bryan skillfully prepared his freshly arranged pieces of Nigiri and Sashimi in ways that I've never witnessed before. The bold zesty flavors of artisanal Japanese cuisine overcoming my palate made me feel like I was turning Japanese with every bite. The menu is daring yet simplistic which presents a dichotomy that I openly welcome. Kathy was the Sous Chef that helped bring his creations to fruition with pristine service and etiquette. Truly, this spot is a great beyond words. YES, YOU NEED RESERVATIONS. NO, YOU CANNOT BE LATE. I do recommend bringing a nice bottle of sake to accompany your dinner because it really amplifies the whole experience. This spot is for the true sushi lovers who dodge mediocrity. Ahí Sushi is perfect for even the most discerning palate. It's a very small and intimate experience so take in the moment because it's gone before you know it. I personally can't wait to return."
"I've driven by this restaurant several times and finally had time to try it on my day off. First of all, I love the name and had a feeling it was going to be an Asian-themed establishment before it opened. I was right but this place is certified Kosher so expect clean and delicious food.I just sat at the bar because I like to watch the bartender make cocktails. I got Autumn in Japan made with Roku Japanese Gin. Impressive presentation and it was potent but very refreshing. For bites, I ordered the Baked Crab Hand Roll, Corn Ribs, Crunchy Spicy Tuna Rice, and Beef Yakitori. Everything tasted very good. I could tell they were high quality but my favorites were the Spicy Tuna Rice and Yakitori. I was going to order more from the main "Kitchen" menu but I ran out of time. I really wanted to try some dessert but will save that for the next visit.I had a good experience here. Gorgeous modern restaurant, attentive service, and high-quality food. Just expect to pay a premium. The bites I ordered were about $20 on average and portions were on the small side. Maybe someday they'll offer happy hour bites, hopefully :) Pro tip: Parking is free in the garage for 2 hours."
"Our service was awesome, very friendly people EVERYWHERE. They work as a team, picking up dishes, grabbing drinks, etc. I was not over impressed with the food, it was tasty, but nothing too exciting. I'd go back because you get polite friendly service."
"Unreal sushi experience. Handcrafted in front of you with care and precision. Unique indoor vibes too. Get nigiri and hand rolls, and especially the blue crab hand roll. Won't regret it. Bravo."
"Unassuming Thai and sushi restaurant in the shopping mall strip across from FIU. I like to come here when I'm in the mood for some hot soup and I don't mean spicy although I do like the heat. Their Tom Ka and wonton are my fave. They have like 3 others that look good too including hot and sour. I've tried everything from their pad thai noodles to sushi. Everything is pretty good and the rolls are decently sized. They even have a new "Dishes from Burma" menu that includes some noodles and soups. I like that they include photos in the menu for these specialty dishes. The rest I suggest you use yelp for the menu pictures. To me the only thing lacking here is ambiance. It feels more like a take away place and although they do have their fair share of dine in guests, there's no music or any kind of inviting setting. So don't expect aVibe here, Just a few tables and chairs. Servers are nice and attentive, though."
"WOW!!! This place keeps getting even better..... Dine-in with family and found a truly friendly service (Adam!). Nicely redecorated. The appetizers are delicious; specially the Crispy Rice. Had two bottles of their Nigori Sake at a reasonable price. The Seafood Pad Thai was amazingly tasty. The Duck, both styles; Basil and Garlic, were truly special. My younger son had the Duck Pad See Ew and cannot stop talking about how delicious it was. We accompanied all with a separate large order of Special Korean Fried Rice that we also took home. Daughter enjoyed much the Sushi Sunshine Roll... This is beyond a neighborhood gem, it's a Diamond! Awesome Takeout as well! The Thai Special fried rice is truly special; not greasy but very moist and flavorful... We will be back soon."
"Pros: 1) very nice place; 2) clean Cons: 1) my waitress was slow, I had to find her to ask her for a drink, my dirty plates was on the table; 2) No sashimi on the lunch time; 3) Too many tasteless sushi; 4) too expensive for this quality of food"
"I ordered on line curbside service. When I arrived after calling 3 times I reached a restaurant rep. They did not speak english and would not drop the food at "curbside". The portions were small and the sushi was not fresh. I would not recommend this restaurant to my ex wife and that's saying a lot. The food you receive is not what they show in the pics."

Tiny but mighty! This local spot in Coconut Grove looks small from the outside, but offers incredible sushi and A+ service. I sat outside at a table with a few others (some locals), and we were quickly greeted by our server who brought us fresh water, as well. One of the people in my party had been there before and had great recommendations, and the restaurant was kind enough to bring us out some appetizers on the house and they were INCREDIBLE. The plating/presentation alone was gorgeous, but the ingredients were so fresh in the tuna tartare and the Alex #2 was my favorite roll. The fried rice was also delicious and the perfect portion to share and pass around. Our minds may have been bigger than our stomachs because of how good the apps were, but we couldn't bear the chance of not ordering enough for the table.

This poke would have been delicious until the poke was doused in sauce, which kind of ruined all the fish, watermelon, the whole dish. Wouldn't come back here but recommend you have the sauce ordered on the side so you can actually taste all the great flavors and ingredients they've got.

Hey listen guys, I'd like it if you stay away from this place. A few reasons:1. This place has no teriyaki, no tempura, no ramen. And definitely no pad thai, tom yum, or other dishes that you may think is Japanese (saying this because a friend of mine got a 1 star rating for not serving pad thai in her Japanese restaurant). They just focus on what they do best.2. No colorful dragon, sex on the beach... If you want colorful rolls drenched in sauces for your instagram, go elsewhere. 3. It's a small place, with about 6-8 seats at the counter. Yes, like what you may find when you walk down an alley in Tokyo. No privacy! Totally should take your date somewhere else.Yup, go back to "search" and look elsewhere! And if you are still reading, let me further dissuade you:4. You like your spicy mayo dunking sauce? Well, Chef Brian won't even let us dip our aburi salmon into soy sauce or wasabi, as he feels that his nigiri, with a slice of fried garlic, is perfection manifested (so forget about ). Truth be told, I can't disagree. As Chef said, the yakumi pairing is spot on. Yakumi literally means medicinal flavor, and likely originated in the medicinal property of garlic, scallion and the like, but the word today is synonym with aromatics: the teeny dollop of daikon, scallion and the like on sushi, noodles, and other food add complexity and elevate the taste to another level. BTW the tuna salad is another winner with the perfect balance of wasabi, soy and vinegar to make every bite stimulating. 5. Eating here is a dangerous one way street. Serious warning: You won't be happy with sushi buffets and supermarket sushi again. So yeah, don't let me walk in and see you taking my seat and making me wait two hours for my sushi. Stay away!!!!

Fantastic experience. Very busy for a Monday night. But the reason we had such a wonderful experience was Elena at the bar. Her knowledge of the menu was unparalleled Jimmy credit great recommendations. My friend and I just had a fantastic time. The Robata mushrooms and eggplant was awesome. As were the shrimp and the crab rolls and the crispy rice roll with tuna. Haven't had shrimp in 30 years but they tasted like the real thing. Thanks Elena for doing such a wonderful job.

I personally like this place as the rolls and fried rice are very good. I also like stopping in for a drink while my child is engaging in an extracurricular activity. They are fast and for the most part the service is good if they have enough people working.

This is a locally owned restaurant in a small plaza, I was here running some errands and decided to eat here, what a great decision! If you want to try authentic Thai food made by their own owners come here and have a feast! Prizes are affordable and the most important... food is DELICIOUS, this is one of the best of Pad Thai I've ever tried. Sushi is also super fresh and great variety. I tried one night in Bangkok and Crunchy salmon. Both amazing. For dessert sticky coconut rice with a super fresh mango, if you're around the area don't doubt in coming here.

"Ruson was my first favorite sushi spot ever and years later still remains #1 for me; they just always get it right. Every roll from their I Love Lucy to the Kamikaze and beyond are full of flavor. Unlike at a lot of sushi places, these rolls are FAT and loaded. My husband always gets the fried rice and loves the taste and chunks of meat in it. I have very rarely dined in but when I have the service has always been very good. They recently underwent renovations and the restaurant inside is now more updated. Definitely my go-to sushi spot in Kendall!"
"I've been wanting to try the food here for some time. I decided to call and place an order. The young lady who answered the call was very helpful. The customer service she provided was refreshing. Customer service over the phone and while picking up was great. The food smelled amazing. It was ready when I went in for pick up. I'll be ordering from here again."
"Worth a visit! A great addition to the restaurant options South of Fifth.Celebrated a birthday dinner here for a party of 8 and the experience did not disappoint. Pro tip: make sure your entire party arrives together or you won't get seated until everyone is in attendance.Atmosphere: Gorgeous wood, modern clean lines, and visually captivating. Timing of food: Perfectly paced. Drinks come out a bit slow. Service: Friendly and attentive waiters and hostesses.Noteworthy Dishes:- Wagyu Fried Rice: Phenomenal. Comes with a leaky egg - bursting with rich, savory flavors and a hint of umami. I'm still thinking about it.- Steamed King Crab Legs: Simply delicious.- Catch Roll: A spectacular presentation, literally lights on fire!- Truffle Mushroom Spaghetti: Luxuriously creamy with an earthy truffle taste.Must try desserts:-The Carnival: warm donut balls presented on a Ferris wheel-Hit Me Chocolate Cake: dangerously good for chocolate lovers-complimentary Cookies: the perfect balance of a warm crisp exterior with gooey interiors and salted finishHighly recommend!"
"Miyako is always a reliable choice for sushi (also a plus that it's equally as good for delivery). When I visit the restaurant in person, I love sitting on the floor for the full experience. Last night we decided to do delivery, and it was so yummy. My go-to is always the Dragon roll! It's fresh and fills me up. My boyfriend ordered the Miami Heat roll and it tasted great too! We also enjoy the gyoza, it's so crispy and the filling is flavorful. This restaurant is definitely on my rotating list for sushi night!"
"Was craving bao buns in my area and stumbled upon this online. I was given a time estimate of when to pick it up and it wasn't ready but there was only one server who was juggling everything. She was very apologetic and coming from the restaurant biz I totally get it. They also have a sign that they are looking to hiring people so it doesn't hurt to be nice. The Passionfruit and lychee bobas were great. Shrimp po buns came with a massive well breaded and fried shrimp. Pork belly bao buns were stuffed. I got a mix of the wings to try both flavors. The wings were crispy Just how I like them, both tasty!"
"Cute little Japanese spot in South Miami, honestly I don't know how I didn't try them earlier. Our waitresses English was limited, but she was very cute and helpful. The food came out relatively quickly, and I have to say it was very tasty. I'm definitely going back to try other items on the menu."
"Located in South Miami, this restaurant has been serving up delicious sushi and other Japanese dishes for over 20 years. WOW!!! and I finally made it.The atmosphere at Akashi Sushi is warm and inviting. The walls are decorated with Japanese artwork, and the music is always playing at a lively volume. The menu at Akashi Sushi is extensive, with something to please everyone. There are a variety of sushi rolls to choose from, as well as other Japanese dishes, such as sashimi, tempura, and udon. The sushi is all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and it's always prepared to perfection. In addition to sushi, Akashi Sushi also has a great selection of sake, I loved the one I chose thanks to the help of our waiter.Parking is limited."
"My new favorite sushi place. Quality food. Classic and unique flavors. Quick service with the conveyor belt constantly bringing you your next plate. Super chill and fun vibe & staff. The manager Dayna was very attentive and helped with additional requests. My favorites were:Torched salmon rollLittle Lucy towerEel & cucumber"
"I hadn't visited Sushi Lico in many years, but decided it was about time to give it a try once again. We were so glad that we did. Service was fantastic, and the food was just as good as I remembered. They updated the decor and furniture and it now has a nice modern and clean feel. Overall a great experience. We ordered the Yaki Udon, Green Dragon Roll and the Hanna Montana. Everything was flavorful and filling. The kids menu items were also huge and my son enjoyed the Shrp Teppanyaki."
"We really enjoyed our weeknight dinner at this unique and epic restaurant. No waiting at 6pm on a Tuesday meant we could relax, take our time and truly enjoy the service, the meal and the decor. We ordered sushi, sashimi, bao buns, ramen and more because we wanted to try it all! What a tasty meal with leftovers to go!Erenia was an excellent waitress making sure our orders were correct, our food met our expectations and that we were well taken care of. She was helpful but also properly left us time to chat. Jelly was super personable and gracious and also made sure we were happy. Since I'm a anime newbie, she made some fun recommendations for me to try the genre! Thanks Jelly!I took pictures and videos of all the decorations, figurines and artwork. Jelly informed us there is more art to come!We savored every single element of our meal. My favorite was my spicy sushi but the sashimi was very generous and properly done as well as being beautifully plated. The ramen was also well executed and not overly salty. Life is great with delicious Japanese food in a homage to Naruto anime!"
"Can I tell you how much I love this place?? I really enjoy the food, the different textures and amazing flavors. I love that everything is served little by little so you can really enjoy it. The service is top of the line which makes the ambiance, and great music they play, all that much better. Now I've told you. Can't wait to go back."
"Anaba is my favorite sushi restaurant in Coral Gables, hands down. Their rolls are always so fresh and absolutely amazing. If you're looking for a decadent roll, I highly recommend the Sugar Daddy Roll (I think it's the best on the menu). However, they also do an amazing job at the basics like their Tuna Roll and Vegetable Roll. Hilariously, one of the things that really blew me away was the Seaweed Salad - it's a super basic dish (and doesn't photograph well...), but it's seriously delicious - I actually ate it without dressing because it didn't need it. Though Anaba isn't a large restaurant, it does have both indoor and outdoor spaces for seating (would recommend the outdoor space, as your clothes will smell like tempura if you sit inside due to your proximity to the kitchen). I've had good service every time I've been, as well. If you're in the Gables (or even if you aren't), I would recommend trying it out."
"The bar has its own unique vibe, and the food matches it. There are live entertainment acts that go along with the vibes and a DJ set. Cheers to them."
"The food was great and the service was also great. Johnny was our server, who listened to our flavor profiles and made excellent recommendations! We loved it and had a great time. The mango sticky rice is a MUST have for desert. The Basil duck was really good and perfectly cooked. My friend said though the Pho had good flavors, it was still lacking. I thought it was good, but I'm not a pho expert. This place has been around for years and for good reason. Enjoy!"
"Sushi Bichi, you have easily become one of my favorite restaurants in Miami Beach. I was recommended this place for having authentic Japanese food so I had to try it for myself. ServiceWe were greeted by Camilla and she took care of us that day. She was absolutely wonderful. She helped us with recommendations, was super friendly, and checked in on us consistently to make sure everything was going great.FoodThe food was incredible. They have a great variety of sushi rolls but also many other Japanese and pan coastal entree and appetizer options. We decided to try several things from the menu. We started with the Sweet and Spicy Edamame then went on to have the Salmon Tiradito , Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna, The Abusan Roll, and the Zenbu Naruto Roll.I'm not the biggest fan of rice-less sushi but anyone who knows me knows I love stepping out of my comfort zone when it comes to food so the Zenbu Naruto was definitely that piece for me.Incredible. It was very refreshing and light yet filled with flavor. Very glad I decided to try it. Definitely one of my favorite pieces of the meal. They have a large selection of nigiri and sashimi so of course we had to try some.I opted for the o-toro and the wagyu. Y U MYou know the fish is good when the nigiri and sashimi is that good. We also had a side of fries because I saw some photos of it on yelp and I couldn't help myself! And yes, it tastes as good as it looks. We ended the meal with a matcha pannacotta. Although the matcha flavor was underwhelming, it was still pretty good. Definitely would want to try the banana cream pie when I come back.DrinksWe had to get drinks to match the vibe of the place. The beach, the sunset, the light music. Had the watermelon Sugar and the Mojito (with a gin replacement) Delicious!Ambiance It's an outdoor seating surf n turf right by the beach which meant that you can see the sunset from your table which automatically makes it a more enjoyable meal.Music was soft which I always preferOverall, definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to in Miami. The food and service were immaculate and i will definitely be coming back."
"First time eating at Inari Sushi in the Sabal Chase shopping center, and I was impressed by the astronomical size of the sushi rolls (and the price, if Im honest). I was there for lunch on a Monday and the restaurant was completely empty as they had just opened their doors for service. The server wasn't the most pleasant guy; anytime we asked for anything, he gave a face like he couldn't be bothered with whatever it was (water refills, new plates, etc). The restaurant itself is very aesthetic and cute. It is also much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. We ordered two appetizers to start. The tostones trio with ceviche and the fried pork gyozas. Both appetizers were awesome. If you like ceviche, I 100% recommend these. Very fresh and tasty. We also ordered the Cuba Ocho Roll, the Lobster Heaven Roll and the Osaka Roll. I would rank them as Cuba Ocho being the most delicious and interesting tasting roll of the three rolls, the Osaka Roll second best and the Lobster Heaven Roll third best. One of my friends who normally orders the Lobster Heaven Roll, said that this experience the roll tasted a bit more "fishy" than usual which I wasn't a super fan of. If you like the fishy ceviche taste, you might enjoy the Lobster Heaven Roll more than I did. But you definitely have to get the Cuba Ocho Roll. It's a must have."
"First time eating here and what a great experience we had. Service was great they explained the menu and all options, and food was great sushi was fresh and delicious. We will definitely come back"
"We chose Kami-Koi to celebrate my mom's birthday. The ambiance is nice and very South Beachy, with upbeat music and a good vibe. The food was ok...tasty, but the portions were small for the price. We ordered 3 rolls (Valentina, Tuna Volcano, and the Volcano roll). Flavor-wise, they were decent, and the Volcano roll is torched tableside (a cute gimmick, but doesn't do anything for the presentation or flavor once the foil is opened. The hits were the shrimp soup and the chicken chaufa...generous portions and flavorful. The drinks we ordered (lychee martini and pina colada) were on the weak side but had decent flavor. Service was adequate (your bill has an automatic 15% gratuity added to it). Am I glad we tried it? Yes. Will we go back? Maybe."
"Fifi's is another restaurant in North Beach that has taken me far too long to finally try out. My bf and I had Valentine's Day 2022 dinner here. Reservations would definitely be recommended for a busy holiday/date night. We sat at their small bar, which I quite enjoyed. The decor is super white and feels a bit outdated. White walls, white tablecloths-kind of what made a restaurant "fancy" in the 90s-00s. I would recommend a decor update and adding a little burst of color to make the space feel more modern. For a seafood-forward restaurant, the prices aren't that bad and the portions are very generous and delicious. The Florida Lobster tail is such a unique, scrumptious preparation. You must try it! The kusshi oysters were fantastic. So meaty and briny. Service was very good. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. 20% gratuity automatically included."
"Little hidden sushi spot down in west Kendall. I've been living in the area for almost 8 years and never knew this place was so close by! My boyfriend and I noticed it was take-out only upon entering the restaurant and were a bit bummed as we wanted to have a date night out. Either way, we still placed our order for a crunchy roll, a JB roll, and a chicken fried rice. The crunchy roll was jam packed wish tuna, spicy mayo, and topped with little crunchy pieces. The perfect combo of spicy, fresh and a little crunch. I ordered the JB roll without cream cheese (cream cheese in sushi is the bane of my existence) making it a simple salmon & avocado roll. I was pleasantly surprised with how stuffed my roll was with THICK pieces of salmon! The rolls were delicious and very filling and at a great price, mine came out to just under $10. Their spicy mayo actually had a little kick to it, unlike the many spicy mayos I've tried at other sushi restaurants. The fried rice was definitely not the best and I probably wouldn't order it again but I would definitely come back for just some rolls. If you're looking for a casual sushi spot in west Kendall I would definitely recommend checking out sushi corner. Would be perfect for a movie night in, a picnic, or just a quick dinner/lunch."
"First time at Nobu, definitely not the last! We didn't have reservations so were seated at the bar, which was fine with us. We ordered drinks- lychee martini and belvedere martini. also got the Nobu Chardonnay which was surprisingly good! After that just started ordering things off the menu. Mushroom salad, crispy tuna rice, yellowtail with jalapeño, salmon with Asian pear, tuna tacos, black miso cod (to DIE for), tuna tataki, Wagyu dumplings, and some sort of shaved ice dessert. Came out to be $580ish for my husband and I. It all was SO good. Truly, well worth the hefty price. Will be back ASAP!!"
"What a cute literal hidden restaurant. Hidden from the main path, Midorie is a such a breath of fresh air. It looks very simple but cozy and warm, there are no frills to the aesthetic. The staff is friendly and super welcoming. I ordered a yaki soba bowl and the waiter made the best protein recommendation. The food came out in less than 5 min and it was so good. The flavors were great and everything tasted so fresh. I want to come back and try the sushi"
