I invited my cousin to dinner here. My wife and I met her at 6:00PM last Sunday evening. We had eaten here many times before but several years ago. My has it changed. They moved the restaurant around a bit and drastically changed the interior. It is not nearly as nice a place as it used to be. The decor is just so so and while they may think it makes it more modern, some of us think it is awful. My wife and cousin ordered the Campechana one shrimp the other the combo. Both said that they were delicious.I ordered a dinner salad, seafood gumbo, and mesquite grilled red snapper. The salad ostensibly had ranch dressing. It was vinegary. I told the server, and she just said that it was their ranch. Yuck. The gumbo was very thick with an almost white roux. It tasted marginal so I only picked out the seafood bits. The Red Snapper was very dry and actually not very tasty. The green beans and new potatoes were cold, and the potatoes were not cooked very well. They were still pretty raw. All in all, this supposedly 5-star restaurant is not even a two star in my book. The change of ownership, location or staff has really adversely affected this place. I will not be coming back until maybe it is sold again.

Best experience ever - great service at the bar and food was amazing. Very clean and seems to be well ran.

One of our favorite seafood places in Houston. Starter was Campechana- delicious! Mains were Mesquite Seafood skewer which was also good including the shrimp empanada! I had the fried catfish and fried oysters Po-boy on a bed of lettuce, cocktail sauce/tartar sauce and the best French bread-yummy!We always love coming to Goode Co. Seafood a favorite spot! On site free parking, busy atmosphere and noisy.

This remains the spot I take people who haven't been to Houston, to really show them what we're working with. There is nothing in the world like the Campechana de Mariscos. This is a Mexican-style seafood cocktail with the biggest savings of fresh fish, crab and avocado. The oyster selection has diversified in the past years and they offer oysters from all different Gulf locations, each with their own style and size.

My partner and I weren't really a fan of Goode Company Seafood. The service felt very rushed, and the server wasn't really happily willing to explain missing components of their menu. Our oysters tasted like liquid smoke. The catfish surprisingly wasn't seasoned very well and was very greasy, so we just weren't really interested in it.

Love this restaurant, felt like a diner inside! Ordered the coastal fried platter and crabmeat fettuccine. The fettuccine was amazing, so creamy and had a lot of crab! The fried platter was great as well, lots of variety and plenty to share for 4-5 people.

Went here for an anniversary lunch and it was absolutely delicious. I love how they restored and incorporated the old train car - so unique!Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. Above all else I would recommend the hush puppies. They have pecans inside and are perfect side for any seafood.

Food is always good here, however you can't rely on Uber, if so you might be disappointed but do t blame the Goode Company Seafood. I learn about this restaurant in the 90's and they continue to give us good quality

Located near City Center on the West side of town in a shopping plaza next to a few other restaurants. The interior is clean and spacious, with plenty of seating. The menu is mostly a classical southern seafood style, with your typical fried seafood and grilled/cooked fish. Prices are honestly not crazy, even with inflation. Service is very good, with our waitress being very attentive and friendly. We ordered the campechana, redfish dip for appetizers and I ordered the halibut with a side of fried green tomatoes for my entree. The redfish dip was honestly a bit bland and flavorless for me; the chips were also not what I expected. The presentation is a bit odd, with the fish dip in a very small glass jar. 3/5. The campechana consisted of shrimp, crab, and crawfish in a tomato based mix and tortilla chips to pair with it. Pretty good sized chunks of seafood in there but the sauce/flavor wasn't the best I've had. The chips also weren't as good as chips at a Pappasito's esque spot, and were not fresh. 3.5/5.I also ordered a cup of crab bisque; the bisque was very creamy and slightly too watery for me. I also could not find a shred of crab in there but there was flavor. 3/5.The halibut was slightly undercooked but the crab topping was good quality and the dish itself was slightly under seasoned. The fried green tomatoes were delicious and fried to perfection. 3.5/5 for the fish and 5/5 for the fried green tomatoes.Overall, the meal as a whole could be described as average, some misses, and the dishes were a little bit underwhelming. Haven't had anything else off their menu, so this meal might not represent the rest of their menu.

Meh.Been here several times over the years and find it inconsistent. Upon walking in one evening last week (Sunday night at 7), asked for a table for 4 and they walked us by 6-8 open tables, past the bar, before getting to almost the very last table by the restrooms. We asked the hostess if we could sit at a different table and she said "no, those aer for reservations ". Load of crap - dinner rush was almost over and they could have done it - unacceptable.Had the campanchana which was good - just needed some more chips but server never came back by. Mains were mostly good - fried shrimp, mixed grill, redfish. However, the salad and added grilled shrimp was no good. The shrimp were rubbery and tasted very off.Didn't mention to the waiter since he never came back around. It will be awhile before we head back there.
