Dan's Pizza

I keep giving this place a second a third and a fourth chance because I like it and I like the food, but their business skills are so poor that I just want to let people know to check your bill. Multiple times now my prices on my bill are different than what was on the menu and now I go yesterday and get charged a surcharge for using my debit card. Surcharging debit cards is illegal in the United States under the Durbin Amendment of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, which was enacted in 2010. This amendment protects consumers from hidden fees. Major card issuers, such as Visa and Mastercard, also prohibit surcharging debit card transactions. On top of that the surcharge was ~3.5% which means they are profiting on this scam. Anyways, the pizza is usually great, the service is fine, you just have to watch yourself when it comes time to pay your bill. They seem to have a real tough time with that part. If I have to stop at an atm to bring cash, then I'll just go to Parrys from now on.

Ordered for take out on a Friday night and the take out area was super busy. They have a dine in area next door (dans pizza parlor) and it looked super busy as well! Chicken bacon ranch on thin crust was a 8/10, you can never go wrong with chicken bacon ranch!! Maui wowie was a 5/10, it was basically an extreme cheese pizza with a few pieces of meat and pineapple. It tastes like a cheese pizza as well but the cheese wasn't melted all the way (if that make sense) All in all, we'll definitely go back because they have so much on their menu and their Margherita pizza is A+

The absolute best pizza EVER! The choices are amazing and fill a couple pages. Atmosphere is upbeat and fun. Beer on tap is interesting. Plus, they serve good wine. Service can be a miss at times if you aren't a regular. Never come if you are in a rush. But once you place your order, it arrives quickly.

Dans is a local staple and I can see why! This was my first time dining in and I loved the dive bar feel. We sat at the bar and got awesome service she was attentive but not over bearing. I had the greek salad and it was the best one I've had in a while, the lettuce was so cold but not wet & it had plenty of toppings with the dressing on the side so perfect!! Thank you for the great food and service we will be back!

Great pizza, great wings and a very nice selection of local craft brews. We even stopped in on a night with live entertainment.

Some of the best pizza around. The ambiance is dark with social outcasts abounding swilling plenty of microbrews on tap. Don't be tempted to order anything else off the menu as the pizza is their only redemptive offering.

My friend had mentioned Dan's a while ago and I finally had the chance to check it out. Called Saturday evening for a pick up order and they were veryyyy busy. I ordered a large pepperoni with cheese stuffed crust. I was told it would be ready in 20min for pick up. Dan's was easy to spot in a shopping center with plenty of parking available. I was very surprised to see their have a parlor side for sit down. Staff was friendly upon pick up and pizza was still hot. I had no idea what to expect as pizza can be a hit or miss, but was very pleasantly surprised! I'm looking forward to returning to try their other pizza options and maybe some chicken wings or a salad too.

My family and I decided to try this pizza place for lunch. As we walked in we were seated right away. The waitress was cool and she gave us menus right away. We took some time and then ordered. We ordered some regular bread sticks with marinara sauce to start off with. The bread was well seasoned and hot when she brought it to us. The marinara sauce was really good. It was thick but when you dip your bread in it it's a good combination of flavors. I ordered the chicken parmesan sandwich with a side of potato chips. The chips were good. They tasted as they should. The sandwich was decent. The bread was a little large for the chicken but the chicken was tender and the marinera sauce was good but it made the sandwich soggy. There also wasn't enough cheese that I could taste. I enjoyed the atmosphere, service and good food.

Best pizza in Houston. Go as far east or west you aren't gonna find anything better. It's great, family owned. The wings are also awesome. Italian food and apps are great. I do so much free marketing for this place because I truly love it

Don't let the outside fool you!! It's not only take out which is next door but same pizzeria! I love the ambiance, very chill and just perfect for a date! The service was great from the girl who took our orders! Can't remember her name oh no!!! But she is tall , thin and a bubbly attitude and cheerful personality..you won't miss her because the others are kinda rude!!The pizza is as bomb!! Perfectly thick, cheesy and meaty!! Tasty!! We ordered the meat lovers!! We also ordered cheesy bread which was very buttery and I loved it!! Also the honey chipotle wings were so good!! Spicy but very goodBeers gave us a headache the next day! I believe it's their own creations or from local breweries? Not the old fashioned bottle or can I will definitely come back for great pizza and ambience
