"Woweeee. This might be the best pho I have ever had!! Who knew it'd be in Houston, TEXAS?!My friend (who is from Vietnam) told me to try this pho joint, so naturally I got the $14.50 XL bowl of F1 pho dac biet. There was a ginger taste, which I haven't experienced with pho in Los Angeles. The noodles are also thicker (and cooked softer) than what I'm used to in LA. The bun cha ha noi $13.50 was also delicious. I saw a lot of older Vietnamese grandmas eating this around me. It came with two servings: one bowl of grilled meat in fish sauce and one plate with vermicelli and herbs. They served a small side of garlic and spice that added so much flavor to the dish. I had to ask for more, and they happily obliged! The egg rolls were also pretty good!This restaurant is a ways out of the Bellaire area, so I can see how that can deter fans from frequently more regularly. There's a good sized parking lot though, so that was nice. Restroom was in the back, but it was quite dirty. They also ran out of soap.."

"So today I was stuck at work and I left my food at home knowing I was gonna be here for 9+ hours to decide to look for delivery options and food locations all way out here in Manville. I only started working out here a month ago so I'm not used to driving 12 places, so upon my research on Uber eats I discovered Pho 518 restaurant. They're running a great deal on Uber so I decided to get a small bowl of chicken soup and two spring rolls. Everything was on par. This time around I did ask for extra noodles because I heard they don't provide bowls (which isn't always the case but a bonus if / and when they do) and I was gunna make small batches and microwave the broth eat time I got a chance at work to eat. Their shredded chicken made it so easy. The meal was bomb. Great taste Greta flavor a loud of ingredients too. I would like an opportunity to check it out personally"

"The service was attentive and quick. I had beef vermicelli and the hubs had shrimp pho. We shared spring rolls. With my vermicelli I also received an egg roll and a shrimp sugarcane roll (maybe not called a roll but anyhow...). The beef was super flavorful and tender. Really good flavor. I did need to use some of my husbands broth because the noodles have zero sauce on them at all. I guess I was expecting something on them so they weren't just a clump of noodles. That being said, with a little broth they were really nice. I definitely prefer the spring rolls to the egg roll. The spring rolls are crunchy and flavorful but the egg roll lacked a crunchiness and felt a little mushy inside. The shrimp sugarcane thing was ok. Probably an acquired taste. The vegetables in my vermicelli bowl were super fresh and crunchy. Overall I really liked the beef vermicelli bowl...with a bit of broth. It was light and satisfying. The shrimp pho was good. The shrimp were nice and big and nicely cooked. I had hot tea, as well. It was fresh and hit the spot. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal. If you're in Rosenberg, give them a try. You won't regret it."

"Starting a new job in a new location means new places to try! I've been frequenting Pho Hang & Grill about once a week. There's a variety of Vietnamese dishes that you can order besides pho, including rice, vermicelli, noodles, etc. They also serve bun bo hue here, which is usually what I get. You don't get the typical meat cuts like oxtail, hock, or even blood. Honestly, that works out for me as I am not as adventurous in that department. The broth is actually very spicy, my nose is running by the end! Overall, I do want to come back and try the pho."

Let me also tell you that it's extremely hard to find good Chinese food on the NW side. This is the best I have found so far on the NW side of town. I was pretty skeptical from the reviews. I saw nice nice gentleman in the parking lot walking to his car with to good. I asked him how is the general Tsos. He said it's pretty good and that's his go to dish. So I said what the heck. Let me take the plunge. Food: General tsos chicken is extremely good, the egg rolls are simply perfect. The hot and sour soup was really good too. The fried rice was alright. Not bad not great. Very middle of the mall fried rice. Overall really good meal!Value: absolutely great value for your money. You could easily feed two people off of one dinner portion here. They definitely don't skimp you out here. Hours: the stay open late! Till 10PM!"

Oh, and the best dressing is the Lemon one, but a lot of people like Fresh Herb.It's a lovely large location with a little room in the back as well, so there's plenty of places to sit and eat. It's definitely one of the better locations that we have been to, and it's part of the super fancy mall and pretty gorgeous outside in a modern "shopping village" way.The better locations are Weslayan (#1 fave, the best employees and biggest salads!), Gray (some great employees, good salad) and I-10 next to Energy Corridor/Hwy 6 (great ingredients, #2 fav!).However, I had to increase the rating because a couple of the employees were really friendly, although one of them a little bit less so.The reason I rounded up from four to five stars is because of the girl that was here that recognized me from Yelp. She was so excited and happy and extraordinarily lovely to us. Some of the coffee type drinks are actually okay if a little overpriced, but no more so than Starbucks (better drinks than Sbux, no more expensive, maybe a little cheaper).What I usually like is their service and free water and free Wi-Fi and plugs, you call them outlets, but the service here is very mixed.There are a couple of very rude and angry people working here. That's why I gave it three instead of four."

We are vegetarians and are always looking for a new diet-friendly place that doesn't break the bank and has actual hot food for our dietary restrictions. We ordered the Eggplant Garlic sauce (a little too sweet but tasty with a slight kick at the end). We also ordered the Tofu curry vegetables which was unique (think curry masala added to fried tofu and veggies) and the steamed dumplings were a hit. 1-star less for smaller portions for the price of $9-10/entree. We will definitely try this place again to see if their vegetarian noodles are good and to continue to support this restaurant during these unforeseen circumstances."

"For the outside this place doesn't look like much but when you walk in you are greeted by a very nice person and they tell you to sit down where you want. It was my first time there and the person that took our order was very pleasant and understood that I'd need extra time looking at the menu. The menu isn't very expansive, it is definitely a speciality restaurant with mostly jokbal (pig feet), bossom (pork belly) and blood sausage.We went 04/2024 and they had a promotion for $20off $50 if you download their app and sign up for their rewards program. For two adults and one kid, we ended up ordering M5, M6 and M9.First comes first, the banchan! You get 3 different dishes, Kim chi, a salty/sweet pickled radish and pickled cabbage with jalepenos. All were good.The M5, beef neck bone soup with cabbage and bean sprouts had a subtle and delicious flavor. It wasn't too heavy and was a nice additional to our meat heavy dishes.M6 is the jokbal. In lieu of order a giant portion for the two of us, we shared the individual order and it was more than enough (along with our other dishes). It came with lettuce, slices of raw garlic and Jalepeno and a soybean dipping sauce. Wrapping up a little bit of everything is the way to go. Delicious, fatty pork combined with the saltiness and spiciness of the banchan made for a great first experience.M9 is the Galbi. Tender, super flavorful and served on a huge bed of sliced cooked-ish onions, this was a hit for us. All our dishes came with rice, which complimented the Galbi perfectly. The meat wasn't chewy, it was tender and cooked well.After taxes, our bill came out to $65 but we were able to apply the $20 coupon, make this meal (which served as two more meals for us afterwards!) was definitely worth it."

"We were in the area visiting a farmers market and a half price books, the book store was better. After this foodies must refuel and maybe try another new eatery. Pho Dien 1960 had rave reviews and this will be another one. They have a small, medium and large version of their stellar pho. My wife enjoyed and shared a small bowl of chicken pho ga with rice and noodles. I need to see if I can get a small bowl next time and steal some of the broth, dipping my pork banh mi into the pho broth makes a tasty Sammy even better...and I don't drip as much across the table. We also shared a couple fried egg rolls. I had a fried egg added to my pork banh mi. I also enjoyed a Vietnamese iced coffee. Friendly people and great food."

"Honestly my go to spot for pho near home. I absolutely love the broth. Something about it always makes me feel absolutely better. It helps that it's also so tasty. I'm rounding up the numbers but $12 bucks for a small bowl of pho, but I usually get the combo which comes with a drink and 2 delicious egg rolls or spring rolls for $15. Those egg rolls are big and extremely flavorful. It has a good crunch to it. And the sauce youdip it in? SPICY, If you love spicy it's fantastic. It's a pretty quiet restaurant. Never too noisy. "This restaurant 隱燙 Yin Tang Spicy Hot Pot is a branch from Southern California. Description from the rest of Chinese characters, 黑輪 as Oden and 燙食 as Hot Food. (Can't combine too many Chinese characters because Yelp will place this review in the foreign language page.)Eating at Yin Tang is very different from hot pot. You don't have a boiling water on your table to dip meats and vegetables. I think the phrase spicy hotpot should be spicy-hot pot. But they serve the food in a bowl not a pot. Not to be too critical, it is what it is. Yin Tang has more Oden aka fish ball variety than any other hotpot restaurants. My favorite is black ink squid balls. It tastes unique and matches the color of dinnerware, especially dipped in soy sauce.On the receipt, it says 麻辣烫 malatang. It is technically malatang, but different. The soup base tastes similar to Taiwanese beef stew 牛肉湯. There's a tomato flavored soup, but still use the beef soup. Therefore, there is no vegan or vegetarian options here. The soup base has slight kick to it. Just to say spicy hot is real.Why do we suddenly have so many malatang restaurants opened up in Houston? Especially, there is a similar restaurant at the same mall. Zhang Liang MaLaTang has smaller footprint and feels crowded. I suspect they're owned by the same entity.Houston is humid and hot. If you know the traditional soup to get rid of humidity, you'll be searching for a decent malatang with spicy numbing soup. It is not hard to find at Metropole Center. There are Mala Sichuan, Northern China, Nice to Meet You, Zhang Liang and Sichuan Restaurant."

"Fantastic! This little build-your-own-salad bar is right below the hotel I'm staying in this weekend for a conference. Stopped off during a quick lunch hour because I am a big fan of a massive loaded salad. You can choose between a small (which is a generous portion) or a regular (which is massive), pick your greens of which there are 6 options, then all the toppings. Like, literally ALL the toppings you can imagine. There are no limitations. Yes, you do have to pay extra for protein, but they plop on a decent amount. The bacon is free and pretty sure I got like half a pound in my salad. No complaints! Many dressing options and they toss it for you or put the dressing on the side. I forgot to take a photo before I started my snarf sesh, but you get the idea. Fresh, tasty, fast, and affordable!"
