Yulu H. "Went there for dinner with a large group, therefore we were seated in one of their private rooms. It's almost surprising that they don't have any coat hanger in the room. Decor was elegant and artistic. Service was fine. For food we ordered two platters of steak plus 8 oz of Japanese Wagyu (8oz is the minimum order), along with a number of appetizers. Steaks were yummy. Complementary side dishes were so so - all tiny pickle dishes. Steam egg was good. Spicy Naeng Myun was alright - noodles all stuck together - they should have provided more watery sauce. Japchae portion was not big. Raw crabs were yummy - very spicy. Salad coming with spicy sauce as dressing?? Very interesting... In general everything is on pricier end."

Hoonie K. "My family had dinner here last night. Probably our 3rd or 4th time here. Our 2nd favorite Korean BBQ restaurant in Houston. This place is all about the food. Not a very fancy setting. They use real charcoal which adds great flavor to the grilled meats. The service was very good.We had three types of meat:Dry aged rib-eye filets - 5/5: They have limited supplies of this but if they have it, I highly recommend it. Great meat flavor and very tender. I would ask for a side of salt to just season a bit while on the grill.Fresh Galbi (unmarinated short rib) - 4/5: Very good, just not as good as the first item.Pork Belly - 3/5: Okay but thought the two beef meats were much better. The meal came with steamed egg (4/5), soybean stew (5/5) and decent amount of banchan (side dishes overall 3/5 to 4/5).BBQ Garden is not as fancy as Bori, but if you just want good food (and at a more reasonable budget), can't go wrong with this place. We'll be back."

Ann L. "A fave spot for Korean food in the area. I love coming here either for their lunch/dinner menu or kbbq. Plenty of parking spaces in a small plaza off of Long Point. Service is quick and friendly. We always get seated right away. Some of my favorite items are the soft tofu stew with seafood, bossam, and the LA Galbi. I always get the tofu stew every time I'm here. It's my comfort food and pair with the LA galbi makes a great combo. The large bossam could feed 4-6 people. We can never finish it especially when you're also eating all the sides and other dishes. I have also tried kbbq here with a group. We were seated in a private room. You can order off of their combo menu. I mostly prefer just ordering off of their normal menu versus doing the kbbq."

DeWayne R. "Remembered, my first experience here not being very good (about two years ago), due to their being an overzealous waiter who talked our ears off about everthing from sneakers to hats and that the Korena Fried Chicken was overcooked. I always feel like some places deserve a second chance, so since I work close to this location I decided to give it a redo.Took a trip during a late lunch break, after the noon rush, and found the place pretty empty. Interestingly enough, it still took someone over f ive minutes to even acknowledge that I was even there, even though there was a lady behind the bar - just steps from me. Someone finally came and took my order of the chicken strips, fries, and a drink. While waiting, I noticed that some of the tables weren't clean. I'm sure that the lunch rush was just ending, but no one was really attending to the tables during my time there. My food came out, after a little wait, and the presentation was OK, but the fry order looked a bit light and I had to ask for ketchup, even thought there was a little place for it on the fench fry holder. I was then given half a container of ketchup (see images). The taste of the spicy sauce was nice, but after a single bite of each chicken strip the batter fell right off of the strip. I don't recall ever seeing that before. I don't know what to do after this visit. I guess we'll see."

So, which restaurant in Chinatown that I haven't been to? Oh. Right. Ohn Korean Eatery has been on my bookmark for quite awhile. I always thought this parking lot at Yun-Lu Center is always full for some reason. But not today. I didn't study the menu before I came. So, I picked few reviews from my Yelp friends. Victoria was praising about the Army Soup. I asked the waiter. He recommended Brisket Raymeon because it has similar ingredients minus spam.It came pretty quick. I was little disappointed about the noodles. It's just an instant noodle from package. But that humongous chunks of smoked brisket blew my mind. The service was so-so. I felt rushed as I took my time relaxing after eating. I know the kitchen closes at 1 am. I didn't need anything anyway. The waiter didn't me bancha until I asked. Overall, I like the kpop music and the cozy atmosphere. I think I'll be back to try other dishes that people have been bragging about."

Lou C. "I have been here when it was Jin Korean BBQ many years ago. Just recently, I noticed name changed to Bon KBBQ. According employee, it was just a name change. No wonder most reviews still carry the old name. Either way, same style and same affordable priced buffet meal. I came here today was because I didn't want to fight traffic to eat spicy food at the other side of town. One thing I like about Bon KBBQ is the parking and location. All you can eat doesn't attract me. I would rather limit myself to 35 minutes or I'll be full like a potbelly pig. Two things I don't like about this restaurant are the ventilation and thickness of cuts. My shirt stunk like I worked in the kitchen cooking for hours. I normally like to cook my own food at the table. But this time, I worried about eating half cooked pork and chicken. Because I overcooked my meats, they were tough. Yikes. But, I do like the prepared food section. Bulgogi beef and kimchi fried rice were my favorite. I would go back to eat just those and skip raw meat section."

It was good but I can say that they can put more flavors by putting mushroom seasoning or even more of soy sauce or salt. I felt a bit of seasoning less. So my suggestion is that put mushroom seasonings or soy sauce. I enjoyed the variety of side dishes as well! That's the features of Korean restaurant for sure!Toward the end, we also ordered a bowl of cold noodles (nyengmyong? Idk spelling) it was sooooo good! Fox E. "What did the government minister in Seoul say? "I never wanted to be known as a Korea politician."What to order: Yuk Gae Jang (beef soup). If you, like me, refer to your underwear as your "Garden", then you know that there are many restaurants out there that will leave you with a "Soiled Garden." This is not one of them.On Long Point, you'll find this absolutely delicious Korean food from this little restaurant on the north side of the street. The service isn't always great, but it's not bad, and we definitely like the soup here. We do want them to crank up the spice several levels next time we come though. But we love Korean food, and this is one of the better places to get it in Houston. Now if you've been to Busch Gardens or Madison Square Garden or the Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ, then you know that there are many gardens, and some of them are not altogether pleasant. But there is only one garden that serves utterly spectacular Korean food. Indeed, this is the "Sole Garden" where you will find food this delicious. And when Barbi poses here without shoes, it really is "Sole Garden."Regardless, you must give SG a try. It is a really lovely restaurant with really nice decor. We love coming here, particularly as they have good Korean soups for a very affordable price. They can be a friendly bunch, and the soups in particular, as I said, are definitely worth coming in and trying."Solo Garden" might sound like the title of a home-made video of what you might do when it's nice outside, and you have high fences around your yard, and you really need some erotic release as well as some fresh air at the same time. However in this case, it has nothing to do with that, and I've specifically graphically asked the owners, and they assure me it has nothing to do with that. There's lots of great Korean food along Long Point Road, and I wish they could make it a little more spicy, the way we like it. Because that's the way, aha, aha, we like it, aha, aha. Thanks for reading my review. I shall now start my new life with dogs and cats (already got the cats) and a family and a white picket fence. Comes with salad and macaroni (which is really really good). Plenty of variety so switch between foods so you don't tire of the same bite. I got the curry, which went well with the rice. There were two other parties besides us.+The banchan side dishes were pretty well-prepared and definitely made in-house. They brought out boiled bok choy, pickled radish kimchi, cabbage kimchi, and sautéed fish cake.+The restaurant space is small, but tidy with nice decor.-The oxtail soup was lukewarm; usually, it comes out boiling, piping hot at most Korean establishments. The cartilage pieces were super large chunks and not boiled down, so they were tough to chew. I brought home some leftovers and cut them into little pieces for easy spoonful eating.-They don't offer the typical self-serve dish of sliced green onions like at other Korean oxtail soup restaurants. -The seafood pancake wasn't cooked fully; the batter was still raw, as if they rushed in the kitchen and didn't use proper pan/griddle heat temperatures.-No loyalty rewards program.-No weekday lunch specials.-They don't offer the marinated pork bbq ribs anymore or the spicy beef rib galbitang, which are two dishes they were popular for.-All of the dishes were very salty.-We got super sleepy right after eating our meals, so there may be some MSG thrown into the soups. What we ordered:'2 oxtail soups with cartilage $14.00 each'1 seafood pancake $18.00Total: $60 post tax and tip for a party of two"

I always get nervous about saucy items being too salty but the jajang sauce was perfect. The food was accompanied by lots of drinks with my favorite being the made-in-house soju. Everyone at the table was raving about the soju and I practically begged the owner to consider bottling and selling. I legitimately would buy cases of this stuff if possible."
