"What an experience we've had at Carnivale! I haven't been back for years and never had dinner just drinks but let me tell you this place is such a vibe! A live show about every 20 minutes which makes the experience even better. The ambience is colorful and very inviting. To start order yourself a mojito, made with perfection that's sweet but not overpowering. Now let me get to the best part, the food ! For appetizers we had, ropa vieja which was like a braised beef that had pickled onions and this queso fresco with some aioli but let me tell you that was 10/10. Don't hesitate and order it. You will thank me later . We also had chicken empanadas and mushroom croquettes , the chicken empanadas weren't like the regular empanadas you get but overall I probably wouldn't order it again not saying they were bad just didn't wow me like the other two appetizers. However the mushroom croquettes I was loving it up! It does come with black truffle so to each its own taste buds but this was right up my alley . Dinner we had the Brazilian Churasco that comes with yuca fritas that's fries. The Oxtail Paella omg was so delish !!! I almost wanted to change my plates. Braised Oxtail had mushrooms carrots rice forgot what else but all the best combos . I wish I knew what my friends steak name was but it's the video where the waiters putting on my friends plate . She said she loved every single bite. After dinner we obviously had to order some desserts, we did the carnival cotton candy that comes with popcorn, the ice cream with 3 flavors, pistachio, passion fruit, and raspberry and the 19 layer cake. The cake was the winner . Great experience and would dine again when I'm in Chicago ."
"Quick walk from the hotel. Love when they get the aioli right. Hot fries. Turkey sandwich had so much turkey but this girl isn't gonna complain."

"A friend and I met here for dinner tonight. Out waitress was so nice and she had great recommendations for food and dessert. We ordered her recommendations. Entree: grilled cheese naan. It was very cheesy and had garlic. It also came with thousand island dressing My friend's Entree: steak tacos with a salad. The steak tasted really good. It was kind of sweet and had a good pesto sauce. Dessert: chocolate cake. It was so light and fluffy with chocolate moose. Not rich at all.My Friend's dessert: chocolate cheesecake. It was really good and had a slight tang. Overall we really enjoyed our meals!! We would love to come back and have a drink at the bar!"
"The place is beautiful and nice for an elegant dinner; however the food isn't really worth the prices. I would just come here for the wine and drinks next time! We ordered a variety of dishes and drinks and were a big group though, so I appreciated the service trying to keep up with us. We had the burrata and croquettes to start- really nothing special. I liked the burrata and would definitely not get the small tasteless croquettes again. For our entrees, I shared the little gem salad and roasted chicken cavatelli with a friend. The salad was a nice fresh dish and portion. The pasta was okay and nothing special, though better than the sweet potato gnocchi that I tried as well. I liked my cocktail- the luchador love song was a fresh fruity take on a spicy margarita in a cool cup. It was quite popular in our group."
"Ordered 40 wings using their app and the food was made within the promised time. All the wings were hot and crispy. My favorite flavor was the honey Thai and I really enjoy the unbreaded wings. There are a few tables on the inside that I was able to eat at. The door kept opening as people were going in and out to pick up their orders. The staff was super nice and provided excellent service. Will definitely come back to pick up wings in the future."
"We luckily scored a last minute reservation few hours before the reservation time. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. If you're going at daytime, I highly recommend the outdoor seating to enjoy the summer weather. The staff were super friendly and service was great. The menu is small, portions are small, and prices are on the higher end for what you get. Each dish is unique and creative - taking the traditional dishes and adding an interesting twist. For two people, we ordered the chili crab noodles, chicken skewers, and crispy short ribs. Everything was absolutely delicious. * Surprisingly, the grilled chicken skewers were my favorite. They were very well cooked and tender, combined with the cashew butter, savory mushroom oil, and crispy sunchokes. It was a burst of flavors and textures in each bite! Easily 5 out of 5* The short ribs were crispy on the outside yet tender on the inside, and so well marinated. The japchae served with the short ribs also had bits of pineapple, which added an unexpected sweetness to the dish. This dish was a bigger amount of food compared to the other two we ordered. * The chili crab noodles were great, but my least favorite. It was more of a crab dish as there was a very small amount of noodles in the dish. There were strawberries with the chili sauce, which was an interesting combination. It was a light and refreshing dish. I highly recommend checking out Girl & the Goat! The food is sooooo good, but be prepared for the small portions."
"A nice local spot to stop for a drink. They have both indoor and outdoors seating. We opted to get out of the elements after a 4 hr walk and sit inside. The peppermint tea came quickly and was piping hot.The bathrooms were plentiful and very clean.I recommend this place for a snack or a drink. A great place to rest your weary feet."
"This joint was recommended to me by my Yelp sis Latrice A. We went here for brunch meeting to catch up and I am glad we did. Machine is a great addition to my brunch outing. The space itself is adorable. Latrice and I sat at a two top table under a gorgeous fall tree. The wall behind us was lined with while flowers and lights, while there was marble all over the place. The space is divided into a dining area and a separate dining and bar area. There is also outside dining that looks great, but too cold right now to experience it. There was a woman walking around with a flower cart. At the time I did not know what this was about, but discovered that this was a regular part of the experience. They have certified Florists who will make a floral arrangement for you at your table. Back to brunch. For my entrée, I got the Glazed Pork and Potato Hash (Korean glaze, caramelized kimchi, sautéed spinach, garlic aioli, and sunny side up eggs) and the Strawberry Shortcake French Toast (Brown Sugar Strawberries, Amaretti Crusted Honey Custard Brioche, Coriander-Cardamom Cream Cheese Frosting, Strawberry Syrup and Orange Zest). Both of these dishes were very good and warmed up nicely the next day as leftovers. To wash it all down, I got a Rose Prosecco called Tullia from Veneto, Italy. That was very nice and I definitely would (and did!) do it again.I had such a good time there that I took The Doctor and The Queen there for their Happy Hour. Machine only does Happy hour on Fridays from 4-6 pm. The menu is limited in terms of food choices: three choices of a Tofu Volcano, Mediterranean Bowl and Cacio Pepe (Bucatini Pasta, Hook's Parmesan and a Pepper Blend). You can get protein added to any of these dishes. We went with the pasta dish and it was good. The pasta is $10 on its own, with an extra charge for the protein of your choice.Machine also has a selection of Communal Cocktails that serves 2-4. Prices are on the high side if you are thinking of just one person getting a drink, but since you can share them, the cost goes down. For Happy Hour, the prices are cut in half. I am not much of a cocktail person, but I did have this Breakfast at Tiffany's (tenjaku gin, watermelon, berry and lemon) and I absolutely loved that! The presentation was lovely, with the drink being served in this lovely cut glass decanter with a flower in the neck of the decanter.Nice thing about Happy Hour is you can make a reservation to sit in the dining room and still order from the happy hour menu for eats and get the half off price drinks. A lot of places require you to sit in the bar area for these deals, but here you don't have to worry about rushing to get a space to enjoy.Service was good. Both times there, the servers were very nice and attentive. For the second visit, The Queen got a small bouquet made. Flowers are on the pricey side but they did look beautiful and lasted for several days when we got home. The Florist was nice and helpful in making recommendations and getting everything wrapped up to take home. All in all, we had a great time at Machine and definitely will be back again."
"Surprisingly solid HH cocktail option in Wrigleyville. Right across the street from the park, Mordecai offers an elegant space to drink and dine. There are plenty of unique bottles lined up along the wall, partially covered by a moving screen. I believe it is part of the hotel, a modern and fancy looking space, but still approachable. There were a couple of ready made, draft cocktails and we sampled a couple of them. They were all really good. There are also a couple of food HH items listed. Overall, an enjoyable experience and a nice option in the area."
"Criminy, how many Irish pubs within a mile? Declan's is yet another one. It has more of a hipster feel than somewhere like D4 and Dublin, with a laidback too cool for you kind of atmosphere that fits in around Old Town. Gets busy at times but it hardly gets rowdy in here. This is more of a place where bartenders discuss their indie playlists rather than belligerently talk about boobs and stuff. Beers of course include Guinness. It also has a fairly good amount of crafts, with many that are local. They also have plenty of liquors but a surprising lack of variety of Irish whiskey. It's $8 for a Jameson. That seems kind of a lot but oh well. It's ice cold. They also have a better than expected food menu. Besides the typical pub grub, vegetarians can have a Chipotle Black Bean Burger. It's $14, which is definitely overpriced. This comes with on a brioche or a pretzel bun with a side. It's the only thing I've eaten here. The rest of the menu is meaty. For another Irish pub it has charm. It also has an upstairs good for private events. This is best for large groups and parties."
"Soft opening! The new sit-down addition to the same owners as Lardon--this is the adjacent dining room that they've refitted to make an evening menu with craft beer. Right off the California blue line stop, and it shares a kitchen with Lardon, who does the charcuterie and sandwiches with house cured meats. It turns out Lardon is going to cancel it's dinner hours so they can focus on Union. This new menu is a little bit wider (and pricier): the full plates go from Burger at $18 to Hanger Steak at $32... but with mid-sized and small sized plates available as well. Fried olives. Breaded--like fried pickles but better. Tiny little salty explosions.Bresaola Tartine. Recommended by our server--it's like sourdough toast points topped with cheese, aged pieces of meat, and garnished with blackberries and sage. It sounded amazing, and we loved it, but it felt like it was trying to do a lot, and if the beef was supposed to be the star, it was drowned out by the cheese and balsamic. Still tasty.Hanger steak. Juicy. The potatoes carried noticeable beef tallow flavor, and the steak was cooked on point. Chimichurri sauce was lost among other flavors. At points the gristle was a bit too much to chew and i had to pull out parts on my plate. For a "large / entree" I wish the platter was a bit more full-sized. There's enough steak, but more than 3 fingerling potatoes couldn't hurt. I realize i live my life in pubs more than high-end joints, where the higher the price point, the smaller the portion. Marketed as a craft beer bar, and while the list is well done and features a lot of local options, there's not much you wouldn't find at a variety of bars nearby.Service for us was a bit rough. Didn't get greeted (!) at our table for almost a full 15 minutes, and a drink didn't arrive until about 35 minutes in. This was a soft opening, and we know the staff were all working hard to get up to speed, so giving this a pass. In another case it would have counted as a bad experience. The vibe is brick and metal and wood and the design feels great. Doesn't have a standout feature though and it feels quite a bit like other similar spots. The inside noise level at points was so loud just from conversation it was hard to converse. We were seated at a hightop that had three couples at the same table and it felt fairly cramped, so this probably contributed. Not a "wow" factor for me on our first visit, but this is another welcome Logan Square spot and we'll try again."
"Many beautiful and accurate reviews here... And a few crabby little mugwumps who don't understand how restaurants work.I went here tonight on a whim with a friend. We both live nearby but had never visited Flat and Point for no clear reason. Tonight was the night! We try to wide range of menu items including the wing-ish ribs, a salad, and the brisket. We also had a lovely bottle of wine with dinner. The food was outstanding. The brisket was a treat, and anyone who said it's overrated is a silly goose. Those ribs in the salad were also spectacular. We also had a pork main that was fine but not as outstanding as the others. The wine selection is really interesting and unique and very fairly priced. I was impressed by the service and ambiance, And how clear it is that everything is fresh and homemade. The price points are almost too good to believe. I actually think they're quite fair But they definitely don't include the Logan square markup that you'll get a lot of other similar places in the area. Thinking of eating at Park and Field? Billy Sunday? Pizza lobo? Parsons?! The food here is far superior and in several cases better priced. I'll definitely be back, and with more friends next time. It turns out that this restaurant has much more to offer than what meets the eye!!!"

Colorful and vibrant atmosphere. This lively restaurant definitely brings out the fun for our large party. My friend held a private birthday party in one of their rooms and we couldn't ask for better service from the bartender to the sever. Food was exceptionally. We got the ceviche, calamari and Caesar salad for starters. I really enjoyed the ceviche which I didn't get a picture. The paella was pretty good. There was a good amount of seafood in the paella. They had a cotton candy Cosmo which was very sweet. I did enjoyed the old fashioned.

This is an excellent option for people staying near the theaters! We decided to come here before a showing a Hamilton and I'm so glad! The service was prompt and friendly, so we were in and out without feeling rushed! We started with cocktails which were pretty good! I would maybe order a different one next time but for not knowing what to get I was pretty satisfied We then got the deviled egg appetizer which was also amazing, followed by our entrees We chose the Stake frites and the Short rib dinner both were cooked beautifully and super flavorful! I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an affordable but high-class meal in Chicago!

Got lunch at this popular downtown spot in Mundelein. It can get pretty busy at times especially at lunch or any time it seems. Park Street has a pretty hard to describe menu as there's lots of cuisines and whatever. Like it doesn't really specialize in anything. That may be one of the reasons for the mixed reviews. A pretty big menu of various items. It has Asian, Mexican, and lots more. That may be a problem. As in they aren't focusing enough on one area. They spread it around too much. It's about $10 for the cheapest cocktails. That's one highlight. Great prices on those to be sure, so we got a few. I most liked the Perfect Paloma. This is tequila blanco with grapefruit and grapefruit soda. As for the food, too expensive. It's about $15 for a salad. The Vegan Spring Salad was the plant based option for these. Good, except they didn't have all the ingredients. They had the Brussels sprouts of course, but no chickpeas which was the main protein. For the prices it's pretty good as far as cocktails. It's kind of pricier on food but not crazy to be honest. The food is okay but it should be a lot better considering the prices and whatever.

This place it's so beautiful, the ambiance it's what you need after a work day , hang out with your friends, family dinner or a date night. The service was amazing great variety of wines , good for happy hour especially for the "Old fashioned " lovers that it's just 7$ from 4 to 6:30 pm. The food it's good and the atmosphere is amazing. Plus in the summer time they have a great patio to enjoy up with music in the weekends or tables outside. Totally recommend the place.

I'm annoyed , the food here is more than the regular hooters and the customer service is less than the reg hooters as well . Iv had a few errors on orders and I let it slide , but tonight I'm hungry and stopped paid 16$ for 12 baby shrimp and asked for curly fries they gv me the basket fries and they oily and hard Iv called the store for a hour and no answer . Next time I'm driving to hooters they usually get my order right and they answer the phone !!!

This was my first time here and it did not disappoint! Food was absolutely delicious. I came here with another foodie friend and we wanted to try everything, but settled for green beans, pork shank, halibut and branzino. Beans were soooo full of flavor. They were a bit on a salty side which I loved, because usually dishes don't have enough salt. Halibut was delicious as well. Branzino was my absolute favorite. It was cooked to perfection and the slaw that came with us was the star of the dish. I wish I could buy that slaw by the pound. It was perfect now of spicy and acidic. Pork shank came out last, by that time we were stuffed. We still tried a bite and it was so tender with a touch of sweetness. I would definitely be back next time I'm in town!

If you sit down inside, it is still a "to go" experience, just at a table - Very over priced, food truck food at food truck food prices. If you order an omelet, it comes with nothing on a plate large enough to show you all the liquid that has oozed out from the omelet. If you get the BLT, make sure you open it to check if all components are there before you take a bite. It's pretty much self service except when they unceremoniously drop your sans bacon BLT off. Sugar? Get up and find it. Something to stir the coffee with? Get up and find it. Want some water? Get up and find it. But pay full service prices and don't forget to tip!Yes, we addressed the concerns at the time and they did bring out bacon. This review is to alert everyone to the fact that the pictures on the website are very misleading, this is not a full service sit down restaurant with cute designs in the coffee foam, ceramic coffee cups or nice plating. And the owner has clearly gotten these comments before and chooses not to address them, she prefers to make assumptions about why people leave negative reviews rather than change the pictures on the website to let people know its a food truck with a place to sit.

My family came here for dinner as part of my sister's graduation celebration. It did not disappoint. Service was really slow at first but the food came out really fast once we could finally order. The interior is kind of decorated in like a cool goth way. I had the duck gnocchi as my main (sorry not pictured) and enjoyed my firebird cocktail. They do such interesting cocktails here, you can't come here and NOT get one. They also have a flower cart service to make the meal kind of interactive as well, and good for anyone in your party who is a flower lover like my mom. My favorite memory of this place was my dad saying that he really enjoyed his squid ink pasta, but he didn't know it was squid ink so he just called it "those black ish noodles."Street parking is kind of tricky in the area but doable with some patience. The restaurant is also in a cool trendy area so lots of other cool businesses to check out if you're waiting for your reservation. Bring a jacket when dining here though it was hella cold inside! Other than that, pretty solid experience :)

"Entering the wonderland was a treat! The view was stunning and the decor was charming. We were seated promptly without any issues. As we savored espresso martinis and truffle fries, we soaked in the breathtaking view of Chicago. The espresso martinis were delightful with a robust coffee flavor, and while the liquor was subtle, it packed a punch! The truffle fries made for a perfect appetizer to share, ideal for 3-4 people. The black truffle dipping sauce was particularly delicious!Tip: Visit during quieter hours to avoid the rush, especially around 5pm when it gets very busy!"
"Came in here on a random Tuesday night with some friends for some food, and this place exceeded my expectations!Super convenient location, and there was quite a few people in there considering it was a late Tuesday night. We all ordered some drinks and some food, I got the grilled chicken little sandwich with regular buffalo sauce- that was awesome! The seasoned fries too were addicting. Everyone loved their food, some people got wings, pretzels, burgers... seems like you can't go wrong with anything you order. I'll have to come back for brunch and/or to sit outside on the patio before the summer is over. All in all great spot!"
"Narrative: Work Trip to Chicago in June. I had a craving for a good burger and cocktail and this place was close to my hotel. Food: So I was intrigued by their Happiest Meal special. If you asked me to find a burger that represented what a typical American burger should be, this burger would be it. It was like a Big Mac, if a Big Mac tasted absolutely amazing. I still think about that burger. So good. Drinks: This place gives off high end tiki bar vibes but doesn't fully embrace the kitsch of one. Basically, you can get some very unique drinks while also falling back on the mainstays of any classy bar if orgeat and falernum make you nervous. They utilized a lot of house-made bitters and syrups which elevated the drinks. Aesthetic: This place was unique. It looked like visiting my grandparents house if they never updated it since 1960. Definitely a walk back into a different time. Cozy, spacious, and lots of corners to enjoy a good drink and conversations. Service: Hit or miss. The guy in the back bar had no clue about the drink of the day or food specials that the website talked about. I was about to walk out but then asked at the front bar. The lady their was much more knowledgeable about what I was looking for and served me. Price: The Happiest Meal Burger is a happy hour special and comes at a very good price, especially being found in downtown Chicago. Drinks are standard to what you will find at other bars downtown Why You Should Go: That amazing burger!!!"
"What a beautiful cocktail bar. On a bright, sunny spring afternoon, it was so perfect. The Gwen hotel has always been a special hotel to me, but I'd never spent time on the terrace. With a friend in town, I decided to finally go there. It would have been too cold for me, but there were fire pits, heating lamps, and tables with fire to keep you warm. Because of these warming features, it's open yr around. I need to come back during the winter and go curling up here. A winter date night idea. The drinks were quite good. Pretty in Pink had pink grapefruit and pomegranate and I could have ordered several more of those. Especially because my friend liked my drink so much, he kept taking sips of it. Hey, order your own. He ordered the Last Thyme. His was good and I don't even love gin, but I wanted to order more Pretty in Pinks. Calories be damned. It was early and we had 3 more bars to go to though. I need to come back when I can order freely off the menu The tuna tartare was good but very small. Not a great choice before a night of drinking and on a previously empty stomach. To be fair, it *was* listed on the "small plates" section of the menu. They weren't kidding. It was small. And $22. But it was good. Loved the caviar on top. He had the good sense to order fried chicken before our night of fun. -the Chicken Milanese. Dressed generously in arugula and manchego and fried to a beautiful golden brown, my only complaint is that it was a just a tad bit dry. Still good though. I had reservations here a few weeks ago, but canceled because it was pouring rain. I'm so glad I experienced it first on a perfect spring afternoon instead."
"The food here was fresh, hot and good quality. Choose this spot as had a discount from restaurants.com. This venue is in the heart of Lincoln Park near the Apollo Theater. For food we grabbed onion rings, curly fries, and two burgers. I grabbed the backfire burger. This burger was really good but maybe too much sauce. My husband stated that menu said that burger come slathered in sauce. When I return, I will ask for less sauce or sauce on the side. It was too much for me. Anyhoo the burger was tender and cooked perfectly. The backfire sauce is spicy...but good. My husband enjoyed his firefly burger and his curly fries. The onion rings were stand out and would definitely order again. All in all a good dinner."
"Very discrete and hidden entrance. If you didn't know that it was there you would easily walk by without even realizing it was a business. Very dim lit and moody inside which was awesome! The seating was unique with very large chairs so even though the tables are relatively close it feels very intimate at your own table. The cocktails were both very delicious and very spirit heavy which I personally enjoy! We decided to snack on a little dessert and got a cookie which was a nice little treat!I can't wait go back and try some more cocktails in the future!"
"Food and ambiance were great. Had two charcuterie boards - one with meat and one with cheese. Both were fantastic. The cheese and olives were very flavorful. The meat was tender and delicious. Also had the brussels sprouts and cauliflower which were fresh and earthy with herbs. Thought they could have used a bit more flavor as the brussels sprouts were slightly bitter. The gnocchi and mushroom toast were the best dishes of the night. Very flavorful and hearty. The seabass was light and well cooked. The server, Leo, was well-versed in both the wine selection and food and was very friendly."
"I was in the neighborhood and looking for someplace with free wi-fi. This place was nice enough. The light is very low, and it can be a bit noisy, depending on the crowd. This is one of those places where the booth seats are low compared to the tables, or maybe the tables are high compared to the seats. The food was okay. I thought it was maybe a tad overpriced. I just had a snack, and didn't really explore the menu fully. I'd go back. I'd like to see how it is on a different day at a different time, and maybe try something else. I just got cheese fries because I wanted something to nibble on, and they were okay. They use actual melted cheddar instead of sauce, which was good."
"Great space. It's all about the vibe here. Menu looks good. Just stopped in for a drink. The restaurant side was pretty loud and busy. Bar side was quieter and more intimate. Staff is friendly but not on par with what I would expect. One drink was $20 out the door. Um, that's not happening again."
"Came here on a weekday but fell in love with the vibe immediately. The quail here is amazing!"
"Please go to happy hour. It is the happiest of hours. Yes dollar oysters, drink specials and more. My wife and I came for wine and were treated to a warm welcome to us and our dog. The patio in the front is dog friendly during the warm season. I can't comment on the food since we didn't try it. There is a draft wine special for Red and White for 9 dollars a pour. Vast selection of wine accessible through their menu QR code. Street parking only, on the first floor so handicap accessible"
"What a great breakfast. White glove service at standard diner prices. Portions were huge and the space, a half-basement in a historic-looking apartment building is really charming. We loved everything about our breakfast here."
"Great place to eat lunch. Lots of selection to choose from. I ordered the Kale and Squash salad. I absolutely love it. It's a nice big bowl of greens, squash, fried onion, and I added steak and pecans. It's tossed in a very good dressing. Love it. The place is big, clean and roomy, with big open windows. Also there is outdoor patio seating with a nice large screen tv. There are a lot of TVs inside as well. The waiter is very nice, friendly, and attentive. Never had to ask him to fill my water."
"We made reservations at this restaurant for about 30 people. It was awesome because we were able to enjoy a great meal, each other's company, and had no problems splitting the bill. They were able to split the bill between us all and processed all of our credit cards individually (Google wallet tap and apple pay too). The appetizers alone were amazing and we ate every bite. We were so full by the time the main entree came that I had to take most of it home. Here's what we got and my thoughts on them. Appetizers:*Carnitas nachos - the chips were amazing. I think they were made in house they were crispy and delicious with the most delicious nacho cheese. *Hummus - the bread alone was so delicious and you add that hummus and it was *chef kiss. * babaganoush - it was better than I thought it would be. I actually ate some. Not my favorite appetizer but I still thought it was pretty good.Entrees:*Marq burger - didn't get to try but my friend enjoyed it.* fish N chips - didn't get to try but half our group got it and they seemed to enjoy it.* carnitas tacos - I didn't enjoy it as much as the nachos because it had no cheese, but it was pretty good. It came with pickled red onions and jalapenos. *southwest salad with pulled chicken - delicious. My friend gave me some and I ate it all. Refreshing and has these little chips in there. Desert: *Cannoli - wasn't my thing. It wasn't sweet and it had pistachios on it.* chocolate mousse shooters - it was pretty good. Soft and gooey when you use the spoon it came with but not soft enough to use a straw with (yes, we tried). If you like chocolate you will like this. We found out the best way to eat it is to mix and then down it like a real shot.Overall, the place was cozy with nice servers and good food. Would definitely come back. Thanks!"
"What a fun and delicious dinner! Had a family dinner and restaurant is just loud and happy enough you have a great time and can still hear everyone. Our server was so easy going and kept the mood light and festive. We started with the polenta fries and delicata squash. Kids wiped the fries out. All dishes were on the larger side and absolutely delicious with the steak, beef ribs, duck confit salad and impossible burger. Come hungry as you will eat up. They had homemade ice cream, and the donut holes with Nutella were hot and fluffy. You can also order dishes to share and I'd definitely come back for that. Make your res in advance as they are fully booked on the weekend."
"Came for Mother's Day. staff are amazing. I had the chicken crispy skin and moist meat. Nice crispy spetzel. The burgers were huge. Loved the cocktails."
"I had made plans to come here right before covid came. Marisol stayed closed throughout the duration of the pandemic, and I honestly didn't think Marisol was going to reopen. Covid came and gone, and Marisol reopened. We made reservations but it seemed like we didn't need one. The dining area is very spacious with a lot of empty tables and remained that way throughout our meal. My wife ordered their Burrata dish. It came with Burrata cheese, pomegranate, kumquat and greens with a side of sourdough toast. Not what I would call a traditional breakfast or brunch type dish, but it tasted fresh and delicious. A perfect way to start a day to be honest. Not too heavy, and very healthy. I ordered their breakfast sandwich. Now this is on the heavier side and was defeated with this sandwich. The button bun was too moist to pickup and eat like a regular sandwich. Had to use a knife and fork. But it was a very delicious sandwich. It came with sausage, eggs, harvarti, cheddar cheese, and apricot pepper jam. I'm glad I finally made it down here. I'm not quite sure when I'll make it back, but I'll definitely keep it on my list."
"Such a cute restaurant! I came by for lunch with a friend on a Monday. The restaurant is sort of tucked away on the street if you are not looking for it you may drive right past it. There is plenty of street parking outside and a parking lot across the way. Upon arrival to the restaurant they had so many doors it was hard to tell which one was the one to enter but once you get inside it's like a totally calming and warm environment. We were quickly say with a beautiful view of the outside. Looking through the menu, there's something for everyone. If you're looking for a yummy taco, or a burger, or even a salad. I opted for their cobb salad with salmon. It was delicious. The portioning was great, and everyone around us was beaming with excitement of how great the food was. I was also excited to see that they had a lavish mocktail menu as well. I got the Strawberry martini drink and it was refreshing for a spring day.All in all, we had a great experience. I am looking forward to coming back soon, maybe for happy hour, or even dinner!"
"I went for a friends graduation brunch, and it was definitely a hopping spot in the city, and I can see the appeal for the rooftop views alone, but I think it's a bit overpriced for what you're getting in my opinion.I had the biscuits and gravy ($25) which was fine but also strange in that it tasted more like a chowder than gravy. I also got the chocolate chip cookies which were and came in an order of 3 for $12. As I said, a bit overpriced for cookies, but actually felt worth it for their size and deliciousness. Of course, part of why you're coming here is for the views and this place did not disappoint! Despite it being a very hot day outside, there was a good crowd out there especially because there's a bar on the patio as well. And even though it was very busy throughout the entire time there, my party and I had fairly consistent service, although I did have my drink order forgotten, but the server ended up comping me for it, which made up for it."
"I ordered the Salmon Fettuccine Bowl. It was delicious and flavorful. I was surprised how tasty the dish was. 2 strip of salmon. I will return. The restaurant ambiance was of a fast food environment. Few tables and chairs. Have to scan code to see menu. More entries than previous 53rd street location. Flavorful drinks but no diet drinks for seniors. Not the ambiance previous restaurant Orly's had."
"Awesome sports bar with delicious food and amazing staff at a great, central location! There are tvs everywhere, so they will 100% have the game on that you came there to see. The service is great and efficient! There is a wide variety of drink selections so you cannot go wrong with any! The food was our favorite part though. We highly recommend the cheese curds from there, if you hadn't gotten them before"
"Visited this local establishment before a theater evening. I sat at the bar and was promptly helped. I wavered between fish or chicken. I once had the chicken sandwich delivered to a houseparty. Anyhoo, I remember that being good but can't tell you much more about that selection. The bartender recommended I try the fish sandwich. I was good with that selection. In addition to the sandwich which came out within 10 minutes, I grabbed some fries and $3 cheap beer. Sandwich was hearty and fresh. Fries were hot and plentiful. I enjoyed both. I had leftover fries that my theater mate ate on the way to the play. I was fan of this sandwich but on my next go around, will request additional pickles and sauce on the side. All in all meal was good but things sure are getting expensive. Cost me $27 with tip for fish sandwich, fries and beer. Tip: fries come with aioli but charged for ketchup so ask for swap if aioli is not your thing."
