So glad to have this gem right in my neighborhood. Whenever I need a good Ethiopian fix, I can always count on Zuzu's to deliver. Can't get enough of their soft, fluffy, tangy ingera and their delish selections of curries to go along with it. I don't normally review the same place twice, but this place earns the re-run of my approval for upholding their quality of good food at a good price. Looking forward to trying more of their Ethiopian dishes!

Used to reside in the Francisville neighborhood and Zuzu's Kitchen was the walkable spot to grab quick and tasty food! I had a taste for their food and decided to stop by and place an order.Parking is a bit insane in the area, and it was a late evening during the weekday. One of the guys from some years ago still works there and pleasantly took my order.Brought back memories on how enjoyable their food tasted. I ordered my go-to, which was their delicious Zuzu's chicken cheese fries that come with the special sauces and jalapeños ! Mmmm! I also ordered their shrimp tacos with the boom boom sauce! Everything tasted as flavorful as I remembered!

This place has been hit or miss so far. Prices aren't bad either. So far we have tried: - boom boom pizza- fantastic- boom boom calzone- not as much flavor, very greasy, not worth $18- chicken blt wrap- not very good- they clearly rushed to make it, needs more flavor- zuzu burger- fantastic- boom boom chicken cheese fries good! Those are the only items we have had so far. So it has been a 50/50 split so far. Staff is nice, could be better with recommended pick up times. We will be back.

Just wanted something quick for takeout in the Fairmount area and came across this place on UberEats. My order was pretty simple, so I wasn't expecting anything super amazing flavor wise. The pizza was average and reminded me of an elevated Chuck E. Cheese pizza. This isn't a super bad thing, but I guess I should try one with toppings to get a true sense of the quality. The fries were hot and didn't get soggy or lose their crispiness during the delivery which typically happens. My order was prepared and delivered promptly, so that's always a plus. Price was standard for a pizza place.

Came back and this time ordered the special zuzu's salad, Greek salad and zuzu's chicken sandwich. The zuzu's salad was so good and refreshing! Loved the artichokes and all of the toppings inside. I would highly recommend this. Greek salad was just okay I would skip out on this next time. Maybe if I added chicken it would have been better.The chicken sandwich was SO flavorful and spicy! The sandwich is on a hoagie roll and is very big and filling. Great prices and great service again!

The service at Zuzu's is great, the menu is great, the food is great! It looks a bit rough on the outside of the restaurant, but inside is really charming and cute! Chicken Shawarma wrap was so simple and SO good. The salads are also extremely fresh.When I was there, so many people came in for pizza! I really want to try it next time. ALSO the prices are phenomenal!

I called in at 11 am to order 6 pizza's on the SLICE app for a meeting at work. I let them know that I would like the pizza's for 12 no later than 12:15pm. I waited until 12:30 NO pizza. there are people waiting in the meeting room for this pizza so I start calling the restaurant and keep getting the voicemail. I waited until 1pm for them and still no pizza. so I decided to go pick it up and I got there around 1:25 and they tell me it will be 5 more minutes for the pizza's. once I get the pizza's back to the office they were DISGUSTING! they put a very thin layer of cheese and barley any sauce so this made the crust get very hard. I don't even want to leave them 1 star. they need to shut that place down!

The Ethiopian food is good. Not the best but definitely worth getting. It is our local Ethiopian restaurant. It has pizza etc but never had. Ambiance is a counter. The counter person is nice.
