I would give 100 stars if I could. I ordered the wrong Caesar salad which was my mistake and Christine, johnnys wife, told me to hold on.. she ran back to the kitchen and made the one I meant to order. The salad was absolutely amazing and a huge portion which is rare nowadays. I got the Diablo sauce to go for pasta I was making at home and didn't have time to make my own sauce. It was perfect. I also got pasta fagioli which was soo good. I can't believe this was my first time here, I'm a customer for life! Amazing food and amazing people. Check it out, you won't want to eat anywhere else

February 6, 2024, they opened back up for take out only. I was curious to try and made an order for lunch for seafood alfredo. It came with garlic bread and salad for 1.25 or 1.50 (additional charge not mentioned, but standard for this.) The garlic bread seemed a bit burnt, but it had good flavoring. The pasta had like 6 medium sized scallops and 5 medium sized shrimp- a good offering. I don't know if the pasta is made in-house or not, but it might be. The alfredo sauce didn't really stand out for me. The price I was charged for the alfredo is higher than what is listed on the scanned in paper menus. So, expect that menu to give you a bird's eye view rather than the actual prices. In the back of my mind, the business being local and knowing that they didn't necessarily expect to have to move, can't necessarily expect this end to be updated right away. Staff here is friendly. Lady cleaning the floor thanked me for coming in! Pickup was quick as I did order in advance when I could. Glad to support a local business. Nice to see them in a new, better location and the buzz online from some of the locals earlier. They are still working on renovating the dining area. I think this restaurant will make a great addition to this plaza.

Huge servings of delicious, homestyle Italian dishes served with hot, toasted garlic bread. Loved the warm, welcoming atmosphere (shout out to our friendly server, Bernie) and the wide variety of pastas and sauces. The dining room is small, so try a weeknight or arrive before 5 to get a table for an early supper.

When one door closes another opens and the Universe has done well for our local Restaurateurs, Johnny and Christine Minicozzi. You won't find the famous "Johnny Paisano" on Baltimore Pike anymore. Not even in a small location on Leamy Ave. Find them where Staples and Giant are at Sproul/Rt 420, Springfield Shopping Center, 751 Sproul Road, Springfield, 19064.Johnny's new location is now open, comfortable with pleasant personnel and still the very best Italian Food in the area. Great seating, plus catering, takeout and refrigerators stocked with soups and easy to take home foods. I used his catering for my Sister's Funeral 9/2023 and people are still talking about the quality food they delivered. Come back, I did with the juiciest mushroom cheese pizza steak. We had dinner here last night. The service was great and like that we can sit where we want to and BYOB. My wife had the Tortellini with Bolognese sauce it was very good and a huge portion. I wanted the Traditional Meat Lasagna but they we out. Our waitress suggested Meaty Ziti it was very good and a huge portion. We had an order of meatballs they were good. I had a side Caesars salad was not very good just a small bowel of chopped romaine lettuce and croutons with a small cup of dressing. We took home part of both our meals and the bread and are getting 2 meals each out of dinner. We are so happy that they opened up their new restaurant. And looking forward to their new eat in dinner only menu coming soon.

Been living in the area my entire life but never been here. Ate in. Very extensive menu .... Sandwiches, salads, entrees. Food was okay. Fried raviolis still frozen inside and sub par ..... paisanos veal sandwich underwhelming and mushroom steak was nothing special. Much better options elsewhere so regretfully we won't be back They seem to have a great "regular" crowd so for the less discerning palate it's probably great.

We went this past Saturday night for dinner. It was busy but not packed. Only waited about 10 minutes before we were seated. We got seated and then we waited, waited and waited some more. We brought a bottle of wine with us and just needed 2 glasses so we could have a drink. After waiting about 15 minutes I finally flagged a waitress down and asked for 2 wine glasses and menus. She came right back with them and said they are busy and shorthanded. This is understandable. But then we waited another 15 minutes before she took our order. My wife got a seafood dish and I ordered the chicken parm with a Cesar salad. You would think they would bring the bread out while we were waiting for our meal. My wife even asked the waitress if we could get some bread and she says it comes out with the meal. Now to me, this makes no sense. So our meals, salad and bread all come out at the same time. At this point since our meals are here, who wants bread now? By the time you finish the salad the food isn't hot anymore. This is just some feedback. I must say both of our dishes were excellent and the portion size was outstanding. Food A+. Service C. Total Time spent 1 hour 50 min. I would recommend this place, the food is very good but maybe go on a weekday night instead.

Stumbled upon this place while driving down Baltimore Pike. You could certainly miss the sign because it's a bit on the smaller side. The inside is small, but clean and homely with some mob movie posters on the walls. I believe the owner has taken my order each time I visited. He's a nice guy, very Italian and gave me great recommendations off the menu.On three trips I've had the breaded Chicken Diablo - sharp provolone, spicy marinara sauce and added long hots, a breaded Chicken Siciliano - sharp provolone, fried hot peppers and tomatoes and The Sonny - portabello mushrooms, sharp provolone and roasted red peppers. All three came on a fresh seeded Aversa's roll and the sharp provolone used was the legit extra sharp stuff. At $9.50-$10 a sandwich I thought they were an excellent value. The quality of the ingredients (huge props for the sharp provo) really came through when you took a bite into these sandwiches. My guy came out from the kitchen each time to come and ask how everything was to the diner's and engaged in friendly convo about the food. My favorite so far has been the Chicken Diablo only because of the spicy marinara and the kick from the long hots, but honestly all three sandwiches I've had so far were great. Don't miss out on these guys, you won't be disappointed.

I tried Johnny Paisano's a few times and never really thought the food was anything to write home about. However, I am done and will not be going back. I have to say they have the absolute worst Fettuccine Alfredo I have ever had and it's one of my all time favorites so I have tried many. It was completely and utterly flavorless. It had no flavor. It was a decent portion but it was basically like eating pasta in cream - where's the Pecorino Romano, the spices, something to give it some flavor? I even tried to doctor it up at home but it was beyond repair. I expected something way better! Oh well... Really don't feel that they are all people say they are cracked up to be. Don't waste your time or money.

Hands down the best Italian Food in Delco. Moving here from South Philly 8 years ago, I didn't think I would ever find good food around here. This restaurant has been a game changer. I recommend this place to everyone. The blackened chicken Caesar salad is my absolute favorite. The healthy food prepoptions are delicious. I always order the Family Style meals if I have people coming over to my house. I love this place! It's authentic, fresh, the owners are lovely people, I can't rave enough about this place.
