"In spite of having not visited Penrose Diner during the two visits I have had to Philadelphia for the Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run; I vowed to visit it during my third trip to the city since it sits right across from the Holiday Inn Philadelphia Arpt-Stadium Area where I typically stay. I must say that I finally realized that Penrose Diner is a hidden gem in South Philadelphia; this classic diner has been around for more than 50 years in Philadelphia which is why I had to visit. And I put off getting in an early morning run, just so I could visit once the diner opened because I have seen how busy it gets! In fact, that is a reason why I was deterred from visiting in the previous years. Once I entered the location, I waited, then proceeded to the bar area for a seat, rather than a booth seat in the dining area. The server, Colleen, did her tasks behind the counter, acknowledging me by asking me if I needed anything to drink and a menu in-between doing her tasks. Once I was ready to order after looking at the menu, I ended up ordering a short stack of pancakes, scrambled eggs, and a small orange juice which was presented to me within an acceptable time frame. I enjoyed sitting at the bar because there was a television plastered ahead which gave me something to look at. Prior to taking my first bite of the scrambled eggs, I smirked as Adele 'Hello' played in the background because it is a song I absolutely adore! The scrambled eggs tasted fantastic! And the short stack of pancakes did not disappoint as I knew they would not; there were plenty of syrup containers given to make it taste just the way I like. My only regret with the short stack was that I should have ordered just one pancake rather than the short stack, because I ended up not eating all of it. In-between eating, I could not help but overhear the genuine employee interaction with one of the regular customers. Oh my, these Philadelphian accents, I always look forward to hearing them when I visit Philadelphia because it is a breath of fresh air in comparison to midwestern accents in Chicago. In closing, I am quite positive that I will revisit Penrose Diner being that I frequently stay at the Holiday Inn Philadelphia Arpt-Stadium Area, plus I enjoyed my meal! With that being said, I most definitely recommend this diner if you plan to visit Philadelphia. ~ Be obsessively grateful. ~Thomas G"
"11/24/22 Review of Catered Thanksgiving OnlyWe decided to have Thanksgiving cooked for us. Last years debacle- Founding Farmers - I heard was horrendous, expensive and the food was awful- the turkey was tough and chewy from that restaurant. Classic Diner from what I know has catered meals at my company, they've done weddings and many events. This company came highly recommended to my mom from a friend. Classic Diner did not disappoint!!My mom picked up this massive meal from the warehouse in West Chester. The employees helped her load the car as well which was very much appreciated.I would recommend heating the food much longer than the directions say- especially if you order the 20 person meal. The turkey was carved, succulent and delicious, presented nicely browned with rosemary, cranberries and citrus. We ordered the cinnamon sweet potatoes that were so delicious and tasted great with nutmeg infused into the recipe. There may have been walnuts in those- great texture and taste! We ordered delicious whipped potatoes, the green beans with pearl onions (Al dente), the herbed stuffing was really splendid too and my dad's favorite part- the gravy was rich and delicious. I would highly recommend this as an option if you aren't up for cooking the whole Thanksgiving meal! No yucky carcass to pick through and leftovers galore!Excellent and high quality food! Don't hesitate but get your order in early."
"Beautiful place to have food nice cup of coffee. Everyone was very friendly outgoing. I recommend this to anyone who just wants to sit down and have a great time."
"A Springfield staple. The food is standard diner fare. The menu is a bit over the top. Several pages long... Leading to watered down quality of several items. The fried scallops came out basically raw in the center... Which would be fine if they were seared but out of a bag and into a frier scallops should not be raw in the center. I think they would benefit from doing less items but focusing on doing them really well. They have lots of seating but not enough staff to adequately serve all their tables. Our waitress was hustling but was struggling to keep up with her section. Many people at our table ordered diet Pepsi. I suggested she bring a pitcher to minimize the amount of refills she had to do but informed me that they did not have any pitchers in the diner... Talk about a missed opportunity to lighten the load on your staff. The food was A-OK outside of the raw scallops. The meal was quite long, over 2 hours from when I arrived, was told to wait until everyone from our party was present (table next to us didn't have to wait for their party though), we were seated, had our drink order taken, then delivered, then food order, then food delivered, then the check. Many people in my group prefer Springfield diner over Folcroft diner but it's just not feasible when we are under time restrictions."
"Friendly service. The only place in Reading Terminal Market that has its own (separate) dining area. They also have counter/bar service. Reasonable diner prices. The menu has diner type food. Everything was cooked well and delicious. The only thing I wish is that they offered vegetarian meat options."
"One of things I love about going home to Philly is going to neighborhood diners with my friends and family. My friends and I went to the Dining Car this past Sunday and were happy we did. The food was delicious, the staff were helpful and friendly. No one rushes you out which is awesome when you have catching up to do with your Besties :0) We all enjoyed the butter cake, I enjoyed the French toast, and my friends enjoyed the Apple Crepes - they were so happy they weren't made with canned apple pie filling. The wait staff are always going around to see if you want more coffee or tea. Next time, I want to try one (or more) of the tasty treats I saw in the bakery. It's a nice diner feel with plenty of conversation happening all around. Check them out!"
"Delicious!! So glad we stopped in , portions are generous staff is friendly and food was hot and made fresh!!"
"My husband found this spot on google and we decided to give a try for breakfast. It's our first time visiting PA and the people were welcoming and so nice. The home fries hit the spot! I got the ham and cheese omelet and my husband got the sausage and eggs/home fries plate. Everything was delicious and arrived quick. The ambience was nice, clean and you can tell a lot of locals go here."
"Get ready for giant portions and delicious food! Diners can be hit or miss but this place has fantastic food. The portions were much bigger then we were expect and had plenty of leftovers. The service was pretty good and we were well taken care of. The restaurant is pretty large so we had no wait and got a comfy booth. Their prices are a little high but for the portion sizes I think it's fair. We will definitely be going back!"
"This is my second time going to the Liberty Bell Diner this summer and both times I really enjoyed my meals. The first time I went for dinner with my sister. She enjoyed the Veal Alicia, and I enjoyed the Senior's Eggplant Parmigiana which came with two sides! I was happy to see they have the "smaller" portions available since we wanted to try the wrapped asparagus, as well. That, by the way, was very tasty, too! Unique, also! We also enjoyed our fresh salads, soups, and basket of different breads. Such a great diner feel, from the food to the atmosphere. Our food today was delicious, as well. We went for breakfast. I had the Liberty Bell omelette, and it was very tasty with all of the different additions to it. The hash browns were nice and crispy, as well. My sister loved her creamed chipped beef and toast. My husband had the sample plate (#6) - he enjoyed the over-easy eggs - he said they were made just right. His scrapple could have been thicker, and the French toast and pancake were ok. He says it's a good way to try things if you've never been there. I will say, you get plenty of food, with leftovers most likely! The staff, both times, were friendly and helpful, and plenty of staff help out with filling coffees, cleaning tables, etc. Check them out!"
"Hands down one of my favorite places to order from late night on DoorDash. Located in the Old Friendly's on Cottman and the Boulevard. My food has always been fresh and accurate. My go to is the shrimp basket which comes with fries but they always seem to throw in like 3 onion rings and it feels like I hit the lottery every time. Only thing I've tried that I was not a huge fan of was the chocolate mousse cake. The cake itself was fresh and moist, I just prefer a more rich chocolate taste. I'll definitely be back to try other items."
"This place needs no rating. It is THE diner. When you think of a northeastern diner, this should be the place that immediately comes into your mind. This place needs no recommendation, it just is and you should go here if you want to breakfast."

Two items to make sure you try while at the Penrose: Sticky Buns with nuts-best sticky bun ever. Fudge covered cheesecake and I'm not even a cheesecake fan! Stopped here to grab a late lunch and to have some leftovers for a bite to eat before heading to an event. Awesome and friendly service. Our waitress's name was Dana but another woman with shirt blonde hair also helped us out and she was great as well. For food we tried the following: Roast Beef club-average club but fries great Salad-loved the egg and cheese and crotons and lots of other veggiesAppetizer sampler- the buffalo wings, fries and the mozzarella sticks were my favorite on this platter! Everything was fine but just those items stood out! It was a nice size for the price. It's your typical diner inside and even has a counter you can sit at. Nice dessert case when you walk in to tempt you for later!

A great spot in Malvern. Went here on a Monday morning, it was pretty busy. Staff was friendly and service was quick. It's definitely a little cozy/tight in there (you will be sitting right next to other diners). Their menu is mostly a build your breakfast/a la carte type menu meaning you pick your base and everything else you add on is an additional cost. I had a pretty standard breakfast which was great. Prices are very reasonable. Would definitely recommend checking them out.

I recently visited Springfield Diner and had an amazing dining experience. The banana pancakes were out of this world, and the cannoli cake quickly became my favorite dessert. The tiramisu was also incredibly delicious. The service at Springfield Diner was top-notch, and the ambiance felt like an upscale diner, adding to the overall dining experience. I highly recommend trying the banana pancakes and indulging in the delightful desserts they offer. Springfield Diner truly exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be returning for more culinary delights.Plenty of free parking in lot. Kid friendly and plenty of dishes for vegetarian! This will be good to for brunch or late night snacks.

This Diner is inside the Reading Terminal Market and they serve your typical American breakfast which includes pancakes, eggs, and a type of meat like sausage. I am giving 2 stars for great service because they were fast in seating us, taking our orders, and delivering our food. They were also friendly. I am giving 1 star for decent food with decent prices. It was our first time eating scrapple which is pork scraps in cornmeal that is found in Pennsylvania and it was good. It tasted kind of like spam. The eggs were fine also. The pancakes were edible but I thought it was undercooked. I really didn't mind that the pancakes were not great but I am docking off 2 stars because they had a sign that said I can get a cookie if I made a google review and so I did it because I would love a free cookie. I wrote my google review about this place meaning this is my opinion. I finished the google review and showed it to the server. I only gave 4/5 stars because I really thought the pancakes were undercooked and not great. The server said I could not get a cookie because I have to give 5/5 stars and she said I can change it so I can get a cookie. I declined because that is my review and opinion about the place. The sign needs to be changed to "get a cookie only if you give 5/5 stars in your google review" Overall, I don't think I'll be back just because the server really wanted me to give 5/5 stars on my google review for a cookie. No, thanks.

In my early 20's, going to The Dining Car at 2am after a night out was the move. The breakfast always hit the spot. It's been several years since I visited and the food quality and service has not changed. We arrived around 10:30 in the morning. There were a couple people ahead of us, but it didn't look like too long of a wait so we stuck around. Once seated, our waiter took our drink orders while we looked over the menu. I was surprised to see avocado toast, which isn't an item I remember being available before. All in all, it had great flavor but the bread was too soft/soggy. I think it was partly due to the abundance of EVOO drizzled on the avocado. I loved the sun dried tomato flavored bread, though. Definitely a nice touch. I asked for scrambled eggs, and while they were good, I should have requested cheese mixed in. The home fries were hot and crispy. Unlimited refills on coffee and excellent service. The bakery items looked exquisite, and I'd like to come back to purchase a cake for my next special occasion.

The Folcroft diner has been there since forever, and has been doing a pretty good job serving up good food, and good prices, with friendly staff. I would give this place four stars for sure. It's not fancy, God knows, but it's a solid diner, filled with good people who want you to have a good meal. Definitely recommended.

Typical casual diner spot, right by the art museum. Easy to get to. Fast paced feel, but not rushed. Ordered 2 eggs, sausage, rye, and hash browns - All of it was good. Great breakfast overall. 10/10.

"The fact that I just visited Sulimay's for the first time, is a personal letdown. I can't imagine how often I would eat here if I lived closer to Girard. If you want a taste of Fishtown, then look no further...this diner has all the feels of what Fishtown represents: from the wait staff, to the art on the walls, to their menu (which has specific callouts and creations that showcase culinary ties to the local neighborhoods).I was completely blown away with my dish, which was scrapple and white fish mix with eggs. I am not embarrassed to say this, but I had an audible expression after my first bite...which immediately drew the attention of my family sitting with me, and they knew that I had ordered the winning plate. This is something that I've never seen on the menu anywhere else, it was the perfect combination of crunchy/spicy/buttery and dense. Also, when they ask you the option of the type of potatoes you want, you have to go with their home fries - unreal!it's a local vibe without the "locals only" expectations. This is absolutely a visitors destination for breakfast or lunch and one that you should try to schedule in, no matter where you're staying at in the city."
"Home of the Silver Linings Playbook booth. When you enter at 11:30pm and your server tells you she just put on a fresh pot of decaf, you know your in good hands. The place is a long standing go to diner in Delco. They are open late and have a standard diner menu. The seat of my booth is duct taped together. If you need fancy don't bother coming. If you need quiet stay home. This place is hopping and the food is hot and tasty. The place is clean and the staff knows their stuff. Yeah some dishes aren't perfect, but the fries are good, breakfast foods and soups work and desserts are delish."
"A basic diner gets a basic review. It wasn't bad. I went for the turkey platter. I thought the turkey was really good. Not as much on the stuffing though. It was just ok but a little mushy and sweet for my taste. It was kind of weird that they put turkey gravy on the meat but brown gravy on the potatoes. It didn't work for me. I liked the soup though. And I like the fact that they have Melrose Diner desserts if I need my fix. And I like the atmosphere. The staff was nice. Even if the food was hit or miss."
"The food was delicious! We came to dine in on a weekday evening, so there wasn't a lot of foot traffic. However, the kitchen was plenty busy with the amount of takeout they needed to make.Service was prompt and one of the co-owners even stopped by a few times to check on us, which we appreciated. We ordered lamb rogan josh, chicken curry, garlic & plain naan, and shrimp tandoori. I was really happy to have a glass of mango lassi nearby, especially when the capsaicin started kicking in. Everything came out steaming hot! And the spicy level was well balanced. We love spicy foods, but can't consume super spicy levels anymore for health reasons. I'm glad the server asked what spice level we wanted, and that we went with the mid-level spice. The only thing I'd do differently next time is to request less salt be used in our dishes. There was plenty of food left over to take home with us. It was a very enjoyable dining experience, and I recommend Persis if you're craving Indian cuisine!"
"Love this diner! My waitress was very nice and tentative. There is lots of seating and big tables. Menu has a large selection and a salad bar with fresh ingredients. Pricing is affordable and you get good portions. Bathrooms are nice and clean."
"The owner is such a nice person. We arrived @ 2pm and the front doors were locked since it was a slow day, but he reopened them as we were heading back to the car.The food is also really good and you get great portions here too. The corn beef Reuben is excellent. My Mom enjoyed her turkey burger. We'll be back for breakfast later. :)"
"This place is definitely some of the best service and breakfast I have had in a lifetime my whole. Quick wholesome and no frills. My omelette was stuffed with veggies and the home fries were delicious. Not pictured was the coffee that my hubby was in desperate need of....long night :) he is not 21 anymore and forgot this when he started drinking :) anyway if you are in the area give this diner type place a try! You won't regret it."
"BREAKFAST @ TIFFANY (Diner on the Boulevard)Happy New Year (2022) Everyone! My last Yelp of the old year was at this fine establishment in the Great Northeast, Philadelphia. It had been closed an extended period of time for renovations, and the effort appears to have been worthwhile. The facility has a new outer shell and the main dining hall is bright, attractively utilitarian and very clean. Staff from management to servers are courteous and helpful. The menu is a diner's long list of nearly infinite possibilities. But, I was there for a New Year's Eve Day breakfast, and while prepared to be tempted, knew what I wanted - French Toast & crisp bacon. There is a long counter along the back wall, and when I arrived it was unoccupied. I sidled down to the third from last spinner, past the last booth, and found myself in the perfect Covidly socially distance spot. No one with ten feet of me. I ordered coffee and my Frenchie. and perused my phone for the latest news while I waited. These days that is always a risky thing to do and expect to keep a good mood, but old habits die hard. (Good riddance 2021!)So, my plate was delivered with a warm smile. I beheld two slices of thickish bread well grilled and sided by four slices of heat curled bacon. Both good to the naked eye. First bites told the tale. Although described as "Challah" bread, the texture was more a yellowish thick slice with extra sugar baked in. It lacked the rougher consistency and swirl of true Challah. Okay. I'm being picky, but the mental image of the real deal had excited my tastebuds and I was a little disappointed. Too, it came with those industrial corn syrup sweeteners, that are just empty calories and not conducive to good health. No Log Cabin nor Mrs. Butterworth in the house. True, it was edible and the bacon was fine, but these days I have reservations about putting such ersatz materials in my body, and would gladly pay extra for pure Grade B maple syrup. I get that corners must be cut to stay ahead of the game, but I would prefer the choice. But, that's just me. Let's have a better 2022! Lord knows we need and deserve it."
"The place was busy and quite popular. The woman who was our waitress had someone training with her so the orders took a little longer to come out, especially since they messed up one of our orders. The food was good though"
"First and foremost, me and hubby want to do a SHOUT-OUT to Sarahjean. She was on-point and exact as hell! Like we didn't have to ask for re-fills, she brings the drinks out before we even have the chance of letting her know. She doesn't over-do it or ignore you. She was exact, I don't know how she do it but her service is definitely exceptional!!!We started with Mozzarella sticks and Chicken Bow Tie soup. Both were very delicious. The breading of the Mozzarella sticks seems like seasoned. The Chicken Bow Tie soup weren't overly salty, it was just right. Hubby play it safe by ordering Cheeseburger, which he likes alot. While I order the Broiled Seafood with Lobster. The entree is huge, my hubby regret ordering his burger he wanted mine instead lol. I can only finish half of that entree, definitely worth the $30. We want to try desserts but we were so stuffed, so we said next time."
"Court Diner was the fist restaurant we visited indoors at the lull of the pandemic. We did go in there with significant trepidation; only one of us was fully vaccinated, awaiting the minimum time between shots. But what we saw, gave us comfort and a sense of safety. The Court Diner has been a timeless dining icon in Media foe generations. And it survives because of the same tradition that it has made it a generational venue.. No frills, excellent food, comfortable chairs, fast and efficient service, and a friendly attitude from the staff. We were seated within minutes of arriving there for brunch. There was an ambiance of safety, with staff masked appropriately. Food was superb as always. I had the Chorizo omelet which was finger-licking awesome. My spouse had the eggs Benedict and that was also memorable.Having moved away to Northern New England, I look forward to coming here when we're visiting family. It is definitely an institution."
"ANDONIO'S is back! We were pleased to find that one of our breakfast spots was back open after a kitchen fire in 2021. Not much has changed, The feel is the same and the friendly familiar faces are welcoming. Food was served hot and promptly and our cups remained filled throughout our meal. It's nice to have them back to add to our morning rotation."
"Coming here for 5 years and for some reason I checked the reviews for Stargate today. I was surprised that I saw a couple of Negative reviews.Come on people this is a suburban Diner not a five star Philly dining destination. It should be reviewed like a hometown diner. Consistently, the service is good, the place is clean and the food is good. I would also add that there is plenty of offstreet parking and as it's conveniently located on Chester Pike, just a stone's throw away from interstate 95, It's a good place to try if you're just looking for some casual food at very reasonable prices in a pleasant atmosphere. For commuters it is literally down the steps from the train stationToday's meal: The BB (Baltimore Beau) had a Fried flounder sandwich and absolutely loved it. He said that the flounder was very fresh and the breading was light. I who am not a fan of fried or breaded food wasn't convinced unless I took a taste. I did and I agreed with him that it tasted very fresh.I had the Santa Fe salad. I was given the option to have it delivered as made or to have it chopped. I am so glad I picked the chopped option. My deep dish of salad greens was chopped in such a fashion that they were nicely bite-size and the Santa Fe seasoned chicken on top was plentiful. I ate a third of it and when full I brought leftovers home. At Stargate you'll be assured that portion sizes are generous. As for staff it always seems to be staffed by somebody in charge and it shows. The wait staff are pleasant, quick and accurate in delivery of items ordered. The boyfriend remarked that the place looked like it had recently been redone but I told him that it's been a few years and that it probably looks so good because they keep it so clean. Seating is also very comfortable. If you're in the middle of Delaware County and looking for a place to eat in a casual, relaxed atmosphere Stargate fits the bill"
"Food is delicious and hot. Some breakfast specials come with a free mimosa. The chicken and waffles were plentiful and delicious. The presentation was great but the waffle could have been warmer. I suspect the additional time it took to create the presentation cooled the waffle off. But as a Belgian waffle lover temperature matters. On the bright side the waffle was golden brown and crisp just the way I like it. Service was great but the kitchen was moving really slow even though the restaurant was not packed.A great spot in the area."
"I went to Upland diner with high expectations and we all know how that goes. It was morning so I got a cheesesteak and egg sandwich. They have a pick window. Order at the window and they will bring your food to your car. This was a fresh roll and I love it when I pick up a fresh roll. It was $12.29 after tax. As a cheesesteak with egg it was small. As an egg and cheesesteak sandwich I would have liked home fries. I didn't like the fried onions. It was a good sandwich and a very nice woman waited on me but it could have been better.Reese chocolate Chip pancakes caught my eye!!"
"I always enjoy my time here. I usually meet friends and we get to catch up over brunch. True diner atmosphere which I love. I typically get their omelettes and this time the veggie one was delicious, as always. The waitresses are friendly and always make us feel welcome and never rushed. I love the decor - very Philly - I know I'm home when I'm at a diner like this. Check them out!"
"What a time warp this place is. Classic Greek-run diner with decor to whip you right into 1980.Pastels, linoleum, and those ever-so oddly placed statues.Give this place another 5 years and maybe just a table top reno and this place will be the next retro hub coming totally full circle.[please get those table top music machines that you can flip through pages of songs and play for a quarter!! Lean all the way into it!!!Extensive menu- of course. But went with a Turkey and cranberry sandwich (comes with chips)Slippery dumpling order with chickenAnd a chocolate milkshake (hold the whipped)Service was pleasant and attentive. Food came out quickly. And for a $24 dinner, I really can't say much.Plenty of parking. Big ol neon sign outside so you can't miss it. For an off the beat, local diner in sort of the middle of nowhere, did the job.Over heard a few other customers talking about having ate there earlier for breakfast now coming back the same day for dinner so I'm sure the locals love it. Seems the kind of place where they get a lot of regulars."
"Adorable diner in Glenside. My mom and I stopped here for breakfast this morning. We both enjoyed our meals. I had a Belgium waffle with chocolate chips. My mom got a breakfast sandwich which she enjoyed. Our waitress was amazing and attentive. She was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Prices aren't too bad and the portion sizes are decent. We both would love.to come back."
"Had my grandkids for the weekend which is always fun. Since I didn't have any OJ on hand (hey, I thought that was a pretty good excuse!) we ordered from Country Club. What a happy accident. I swear, it was THE best french toast I've ever had and I really have made my share! I've made it with challah, regular white and with brioche but nothing compared with this. Sweet but not too sweet. Even the bacon that the kids ordered was awesome. We will definitely be looking at the rest of the menu more often!"
"We didn't order anything fancy. But gotta say the server & owner (who rang us up) were so friendly.I think this place would be best after hours."
"I just had the best meal of 2022 at the Quaker Diner. I realize it is early yet in the new year, but high commendation is warranted right now! This stainless train car classic served up a terrific breakfast as I sat at one of their shiny spinners at the counter overlooking their Cecilware coffee maker and the twin swinging kitchen doors. The staff seems to have been their since the millennium, and they know their stuff, complete with old school personalities ("Know what you want , Hun?") Their morning menu is extensive, and I chose between a three egg omelet and a "skillet." The later (Olivia) arrived on a ceramic long handle flat bottom platter, overloaded with eggs, onions pepper, homemade corned beef hash, home fries and melted cheddar, with rye toast accompaniment. First forkful and I was smitten. It was absolutely delicious. The combination of taste and texture overwhelmed me as I tried to capture all the impulses my brain was getting from my tongue. Savory, chunky, soft, crisp, cheesy and a few more sensory reports that escape my store of adjectives. It was great, with the rye toast adding an appropriate exclamation point! The coffee was another welcome blast from the past, as it was brewed in an ancient Cecilware FE 100, which can't be found for purchase anywhere but in those old industrial kitchen supply warehouses. They may be very 20th Century, but nothing since has perked better Java. This institution located between Oxford and Rising Sun Avenues, is well worth the drive to this corner of the Greater Northeast in Philly. Parking around back and alongside the structure. Street parking also available in front on Oxford."
"Little side of the road diner that caught my eye. Think the building was an old Pizza Hut. When you enter you see the familiar claw machine game in the lobby area, the smell of breakfast food and senior citizens hits the nostrils. You know you're in a good little family diner. There is a large dining room and we were seated at a booth right away. The best part was the server asked for our drinks right when he sat us, some places make you wait forever to even put drinks in. Diner OJ and coffee standard but good. This place has the "hangover" or no judgement if your kids make a bit of a mess vibe and I love it. Our server was very attentive and friendly and our food came out quickly and how we ordered it. Sometimes you take for granted just getting it right. The sausage gravy over biscuits were solid. I added some over medium eggs on top and a side of scrapple. You could tell it's all homemade in the sense it's not overly seasoned or processed food. Easy on the stomach and somewhere you could go a million times and get the same quality. This will probably always be a side of the road gem but for us lucky enough to stumble onto it, we'll keep it that way. The owner mentioned they've been there for 11 years and thanked us for going in. Just felt like home a little. Don't go here looking for a fancy pants artisanal something but if you just want to wear your pjs and get some food, this unpretentious little hut of food and family will do you good."
