Bomb Bomb

This place is a great happy hour. Honestly, the breaded chicken wing on the menu was something a local supermarket sells at the hot deli section so I would not get. I really wanted to try to pork wings but they were out. We also got the crab spaghetti which was very good. I really want to try their ribs the next time though. The waitress was super funny and kind so I gotta give it another star.

It's a matter of personal taste. I went to The Bomb Bomb with a party of 6. We go out often together, and all of our families are of Italian Heritage.My 3 star rating is a result of the average from everyone's opinion of our meals. Personally, I didn't care for the red sauce they use with the mussels. It had a strong red wine taste, and it wasn't thick. I prefer Marinara with a strong tomato and garlic taste.The Crab Gravy was "okay." I finished it, but it could have used more crab meat. Others in my party had Ravioli and gnocchi that they found enjoyable.I can definitely understand why this is a favorite place for the people who grew up with The Bomb Bomb in their neighborhood. I'm sure if I had grown up going here, I'd be accustomed to how they prepare their food. To be fair, they boast about how good their BBQ ribs are, but none of us tried them, so maybe they are what most people order.The Bomb Bomb has a great atmosphere and friendly waitstaff, and they make you feel like an old friend. I would recommend you give it a try and make your own decision.

Finally got to check out Bomb Bomb, this place was recommended by my boyfriend's family and we'd never been. Best way I can describe it is if EPCOT had a South Philly attraction, this would be it. This is an Italian bar/restaurant frozen in the 90s with great food and service. We ordered the chicken parm, linguine and clams, and the icebox cake. There was also bread and butter plus olive oil on the house. Everything was delicious, and I love that the cake came in a beer glass with 2 long spoons. Portions are filling, save some bread to mop up the sauce! Will be back to try their famous ribs. There were plenty of tables the weekend after Thanksgiving and no issues parking either.

If you're looking for a good place to order delivery from, this place is great! The food is packaged so well and SO SMART, so it arrives at your door mess-free and the exact right temperature! We ordered clams, mussels, wings, ribs, and fries, and everything was great, everyone was happy! I will say the seasoning in the broth for the shellfish was too mild, and the wings could have used more flavor in the batter, but overall it was delicious and satisfying and the prices were super reasonable!

Excellent food. Great staff and service! They have always been great as is the food for years and years. Been here many times and everything is amazing. I would take someone here without a doubt and know they would love it!!!

Me and my wife ordered the chicken and rib combo and boy was it horrible . The ribs were like shoe leather absolutely inedible . Very disappointed because I have been eating from here on and off for years and have never had such a terrible meal. If you pride yourself on BBQ how do you serve ribs like that ? Where is the quality control ? Smfh I won't be coming back

This is an Italian barbeque. I like the mix of Italian gravy with barbeque sauce and grilled. The whole family can enjoy this place. I am 78 year old and it is comfort from me to take me grandchildren here on Sundays.

Service is great most days. The food is good but pricey. Their menu hasn't changed in decades Avoid the "good ole days" white haired old woman. Unless you enjoy watching multiple groups of people get offended simultaneously. She needs to retire already.

Horrible food was very bland no taste at all and I order crab cakes the woman says our crab cakes are delicious . When I get home and open my food there idea of. Crab cakes is little pieces of crab the size of a dime. Chunks. Over top lettuce no cake. No breading nothing crab chunk over lettuce is there crab cakes . I also asked and paid for. Extra bread when I asked the women if. There was extra bread in the bag she says. . oh I dont. No I told him too give you bread I don't no if he did or not but we don't have a lot . REALLY SO I PAID FOR IT IF YOU RUN OUT BY GIVING IT TO ME AS A CUSTOMER IS. THAT AN ISSUE ? FOOD WAS HORRIBLE I WILL NOT BE BACK EVER NOT EVEN IN A. NIGHTMARE

Have not been in since before Covid. So glad we stopped in. This place is fantastic. The food was excellent. I had gnocchi and meat balls. My wife had a chicken Parm Sandwich. It was delicious. Nice portions. Waitress was great.We will be back and bring friends... m
