The Twisted Monkey

Honestly this is a very cool place to go if you want to be Lowkey , but the staff aren't very welcoming only to those they already know. The drinks have more juice than alcohol and they allow cigarettes to be smoked inside.. yuck! I haven't ate their food and I probably won't but again a lowkey spot to get in and get out of then possibly go to another place.

Love it great service and drinks! Wings are amazingly delicious and steak night is great. Just moved in the area and love to play pool and have some cold drinks !

"The Twisted Monkey" is Swahili for "The only bar to hang out at in Spring". You can't compare it to the other establishments, the monkey has superior management, superior staff, superior patrons, and a MUCH nicer vibe. Don't get me wrong, Moose is alright if you like the drama, Shifters is cool if you're into stabbings, meth mouth'ed prostitutes, and gang bangers, The Spring Tavern is actually a great place but too far up from the heart of 1960 and to hell with that Salsa place. You need to swing by, the food is good, the atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the patrons are like a genuine little community, once you're in, they'll look out for you like you were one of their own. You can't beat the place.

This was my 1st time coming here and my last... The service sucked, we put our money in to play pool and the balls didn't come down it took ppl from the other table to get the girl to get our game started... we were going to play again and the same thing happened... we couldn't get our money back... the drinks we ordered were also weak... we were waiting on some more ppl but with the service we were getting we decided to call and text to let them know we were going to try the other bar and grill down the street with pool tables... we met there and stayed to closing... you do the math.

My husband and I are new to the area and this is close to the house. I love hometown bar feel and this had it! We came in for Saturday college football, lunch and a few beers. Food was good. Beer was cold. Everyone was friendly, the table by the door when we left said goodbye and be safe. Can't wait to go back.

Shithole. Holy f. Never come here. What a joke. This place is terrible. Smoke all you want and enjoy some terrible food.Coke is sold wherever, food sucks. Never will I go back.

3rd time I tried this place and very disappointed. They charge whatever they want and it's a local bar and if you are not part of the " gang " beware . Today was not served because clock says 2:10 and it not accurate. Please save your money and time for This dump

I live near by by this so called bar I've been harassed by many of the bartenders and customers but the first experience is when I've came home twice to find out that I been Rufied twice and being a daily customer for over a year the second worst is I walk up to the restaurant and people are sitting outside at the tables drinking and I order a drink then go to sit outside then go home when I was done when I showed up next weekend Apparently I was told I was banned and never allowed to come back because I went outside with a beer which I Caught many of the customers including barteners doing it and there was no problem so why was it with me Very selfish and judgment here I put up with many Problems and You can guarantee I will not come back and I'll tell the people I work with and my friends and family that i will Never come back they are as ghetto as the area they are in

If I could I would give negative stars! The service is horrible not to mention the lady that works there is RACIST! (She is the owner/manager)We went to ask to do a benefit there and bring them a lot of new clients for them at first they said yes then she saw that my husband was Hispanic and his friend was African American and she changed her mind and said no that she is very medicated and she didn't know what she was saying. Then my husband and his friend were leaving and she decides to take pictures of our truck like what kind of shit is that! My husband and friend paid their tab and they did not do nothing bad! Never going back there again!

Do not come to this bar!!! The bartender literally grabbed my full beer as I told her let me finish my beer and smiled at me and said no should of heard me when I yelled? When none of us heard her yell. Bartender has gs no proper industry training as I'm a professional cook and already know how to respectfully treat customers. Bad service they charge you way too much and it isn't even a bar in downtown hahaha please save your money!
