"Why oh why did I wait so long to visit Moon Tower Inn. It is probably one of the oldest bookmarks I have on Yelp. Well, I finally pulled it from the bottom of that list and paid this place a visit. After a few cocktails nearby, we were looking for something to eat before heading home. Parking is street parking. You order your food and you have your choice of two types of outdoor seating. One under a covered patio type area or a large spacious open air patio. Both have plenty of communal type benches and tables. Customer service was great. The staff know their beers and their meat really well. Ask for suggestions and they will get you something you like. I will say, there is a wait after you order, so pack your patience. The only thing I knew about Moon Tower prior to coming was that they had great tubular meat. What I didn't know was that their selections were wild game that was totally chef'ed up. The offerings vary visit to visit, but they have the things like duck, pheasant, buffalo, pork, etc. So you pick what they call their World Famous Tubesteak and pick from a variety of their toppings. It's not your typical toppings either. It's things like sambal mayo, black pepper catsup or creole mustard for example. I got a rabbit with sambal mayo, fresh onion, feta cheese, fresh jalapeño and cilantro. I'm glad I only got one because this thing was hefty. It came on a pretzel bun that was the perfect vessel for the dog and toppings. The rabbit hot dog was absolutely delicious. It was seasoned to perfection and had that nice snap when I bit into it. It was my creation of flavors and toppings and I gotta say it was perfect. I also foolishly got a Fat Taco w/ beef thinking the hot dog wouldn't fill me up. I forced that upon myself, but it was delicious as well. I washed it all down with a Burlington Raspberry Whale Cake beer, which was a fruity cream ale. Delicious! Burgers are also an option which can be made with chicken or veggies as well. If I lived closer, I would be here atleast once a week. I can't wait to go back!"

"I have no idea how authentically Chicagoan this place is because I only spent a day in Chicago 30 years ago and no two people I know from any city, state, or country can ever agree on whether the food claiming to be authentic from their home is actually authentic or not. All I can say is that the Supreme regular crust pizza I had was pretty good and their prices are reasonable. I was here with a group so I will overlook the fact that it took over an hour to get my pizza because I'm guessing they're not used to a large group just showing up but the service was friendly and has a both family friendly and adult friendly vibe. There is a bar and TVs, but then there is a family room too."

"Still a bit warm outside for this icehouse-style joint seating, but loved the setup- it will surely be the lick in the fall!!! Burgers were great, our party had the BBQ Burger, Chili Cheese Burger, and the Kimchi Burger. All were great and cooked beautifully, we're just a sauce kinda group, so just needed a bit more bbq sauce and a bit more 'Korean bbq' sauce on the Kimchi burger... but that's just us (smile). The fries were hot, and just the right amount of crispiness on the outside. I don't know what's in that extra bbq sauce they provided at no charge, but soooo good! I put it on the Kimchi burger, lol. We all had the non-alcoholic shakes. The cups were a bit smaller than we hoped for the price, but by the time you get through eating that nice size burger, you're full anyway. And they even offer a double patty for those wanting even more!Finally, can't say enough about the service. We came on a Saturday afternoon (today) during the Astrid and Texans games, and received plenty of attention. We had 3 or more servers attending to our every need, REPEATEDLY checking on us, asking if we needed anything, and keeping finished food trays and packaging out of our hair! And so friendly! We'll definitely be BACK!!!"

They're only open for lunch, which can be a bit of an inconvenience for some.Burgers here are build your own via a paper list of ingredients and toppings to create your perfect burger. They also have other options such as hot dogs and awesome unique flavored milk shakes. My sour dough bun held the contents of my burger well. The tots I requested extra crispy were perfect. ""Hello Detroit, you won my heart" those who know, know what I'm singing. That is what I was singing after visiting this spot! I have heard lot of good reviews and I was finally able to get here. This place right here brings me back home. The chili dog is right on point of the Detroit coney I get when I come home. Let start with the wings - nice and crunchy like I like them, and moist. The lemon pepper seasoning was not over powering. French fries were good but I should of made those a chili fries. Now let's get to the coney dog, they chili sauce on top is very flavorful. I have been to other place that say the coney dogs taste like the ones from Detroit, this place has hit it on the nail!!! The service was great the own came out letting the customers know that there food will be ready soon. Letting us know that food is cook to order so you know you are getting it fresh. He was very nice and so was the staff. They carry the staples from home. Better made chips and Faygo. The next on the list to try is a Boston cooler (ice cream and Vernon's another Detroit staple). Check out the menu, they do offer various hot dogs and wings."

"So I came to try this place out and the burger was really DELICIOUS!! They have waffle fries that come with your burger on the side (I don't think they give you too many fries but I'm looking to portion control so it was okay with me) Everything tastes made to order, fresh and the bun is very soft. This is one of those burgers that you bite and juices are dripping down your hand, lol. I personally think that's a sign of a good burger. They have indoor and outdoor seating and on this day they had a dj on the patio which was cool bc it was a pretty day. The only complaint/s I have would be that we wanted 1 normal meal and 1 kids meal, because neither of us were under 12, they add $2 to the meal and take away the soda. So you basically should buy the adult combo which would then be the same amount of money but you'd still get kids meal. Really doesn't make sense to me. I should still get the soda if I'm paying $2 more or the cost shouldn't be as much as the adult meal. Ended up ordering mozzarella sticks which were $8 and they give you a lot but ours came out looking fresh but the cheese In some of them was still cold - kind of a bummer.Other than that service was quick and I'll prob be back for the burger because it was really good. Pricing is comparable to other burger joints but more fries would be great. They give u the burger meal on this wooden mini cheese board so not much fits on it. Pics attached"

It was a little confrontational.But the problem with us is that we are usually in a hurry when we come here, and I know it takes ages for the food sometimes and I'm okay with that, and we don't stop in unless there's no one in line. So one time we came in and we were just basically ignored for ages, girl serving was on her phone, and then had to wait a very long time for phone orders to be taken (which came in after we were standing there) and while people that ordered ahead of us got food that was more complicated than ours, and then she finally took our order about 10 minutes later.That trip was nothing compared to our final visit. The most recent time we went, we came up to order and nobody else was in line, the same girl ignored us again. Then one of the people that were sitting down in a group stood up and came and looked at us, laughed, and proceeded to order in front of us. The girl that was working laughed along with it, saw all this happen, immediately took their order while looking at us to see if we were going to do anything about it, as if they were messing with us. I don't think I described these interactions very well - they were weird - but there were a lot of things going on here that strongly suggested something between "you'll be badly treated here" and "you're not welcome here."Based on these last two trips I would say that we are customers that they don't want to serve. I don't know if that's the case for the establishment in general, or just the person working those 2 days, but I do think that there was some nastiness towards us going on, blatant, obvious, repeated rather than an isolated incident.There's a chance I'll still come back here in future, but we were weekly regulars for a couple of months, so it's a shame for both us and the business, as we haven't been back since.Having said all of that - this is some of the best food in Houston. The best hot dogs, the best wings. I highly recommend you come here and give them a try. "This is a north side landmark. If you grew up in north Houston you should know this spot. It's down the street from Sam Houston High School and it's a great place for a homemade burger! Prices are very reasonable as you can get a burger and fries for under $6. These are the crinkle fries and they are cooked to perfection! Crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. All burgers come with the option of single meat or double and you are able to request your burger which ever way you like. I would also Recommend you try one of their shakes while you're there. I love the Chocolate banana shake. Not sure what they use for chocolate but it such a great taste and not too sweet. They use real bananas in the shake which gives you the perfect flavor!"

"It was 9 PM and that little voice in my head said, he'd dude - you're hungry. My natural reaction was to get on Yelp and query highly-rated, open places. Near the top of the list was OMG Burger. Next thing I know, I'm in the parking lot.I browsed the menu. They had quite the variety of "neat" options to try. From burgers to wings to wraps to tacos to loaded fries. The food wasn't healthy, but it sure looked good.I ended up ordering the Philly cheese steak tacos. The tacos were different than most places, but they were really good. In the end, I could only finish a a single taco.The place itself is rather small and that's part of the charm. There are a few more things on the menu that I want to try so I definitely need to head back. Overall, I was happy with that place."

The inside was clean; however, I noticed that one of the boxes of peanuts was expired according to the date displayed. But I managed to find a fresh batch of peanuts available. The staff was friendly, courteous, and the food was great!!! Just a heads up....the pricing is a little on the expensive side, but the quality of the food was spot on. The Bacon Cheeseburger was my choice and it was cooked perfectly. My goodness 100% beef and the Cajun styled fries were freshly cooked and not over seasoned. It had a Sunday afternoon BBQ taste to it that was very unique. Much of the flavor was derived from the sausage and the bbq sauce. The chili dog was good, but was not even close to being my favorite.The trailer itself is located in an easy to reach parking lot. The staff is friendly, but they definitely have their favorites. The delivered the food and checked on another party that was seated there. For me, they rang my pager to come pick up the food myself even though I was the very next table over - and no one else was in line."
